The breakfast was amazing, the staff was very nice and helpful in carrying the luggage to the hotel when I checked in and out. My room balcony faced the Aegean Sea, I had a very good memory for this Santorini trip.

The staff was great and very hospitable. Our room was spacious enough while still being compact. Everything was clean and organized. The shower was small and missing a curtain so water got everywhere in the restroom. And there was a ledge leading into the restroom where my husband stubbed his toe pretty bad. The door was very hard to lock and unlock.

The hotel and staff (Miriam) and the owner are truly amazing people. They contacted me several times prior to arrival. Upon arrival they had our room ready for us at 9:30 AM. I asked for a cappuccino and it was made for us. They gave us each a sheet to choose what we would like for breakfast the next day…Everyday was a made to order personal breakfast made by the owner. She is an excellent chef. Miriam the help staff also asked us everyday if we would like anything, on our beach day, and catamaran tour she gave us extra beach towels. Also her recommendations for restaurants were very good. On our last day they left us nice little going away presents which was a complete surprise. A truly genuine and personal touch. I have been to many places in my life and countless hotels, but this hotel and the two of you I will never forget, you both are priceless!!

Just returned home from the most enjoyable and relaxing stay at Hotel Galini's Junior Villa. From check-in to check-out our stay was fabulous!! Mariami and Lookman took such good care of us!! Our breakfast each morning was delivered on time and contained an abundance of food. The Villa was cleaned top to bottom everyday at the time we requested and the view of the Caldera from both the terrace and the private hot tub area was spectacular!!!

We were so happy that we stayed in Firostefani and not Fira. We walked to Fira everyday but enjoyed the more peaceful location of Firostefani which is away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise ships in Fira.

We are typical \"hotel\" people so choosing a place on Santorini to stay made me quite nervous. In the end, I am so glad that we chose Hotel Galini's Junior Villa because it did not disappoint!! I felt like I had my own little house in Santorini and enjoyed it as if I did. Every convenience needed was inside the villa. I will be recommending that my friends and family stay at the Hotel Galini Junior Villa for their Santorini vacation.

We had to stay an additional day in Santorini and booked this hotel last minite. The communication was excellent and they arranged transportation to the port for us early in the morning and made us sandwiches to take on the trip . Much friendlier and hospitable than the resort we stayed when we arrived in Naxos.

Cute rooms, very clean. Excellent location in Firostefani, walking distance from Fira. To access the hotel, you don't have to go up or down 200 stairs like other hotels in the area.

A Memorable Experience at Galini Hotel! Absolutely

3 reasons make this hotel the place to be in Santorini:
1. PEOPLE: The staff is incredibly competent, kind and welcoming. They truly made me feel like I was a priority, at the center of their attention. Mariami was meticulous with details and exceptionally attentive. Their customer relationship management is unparalleled. Thank you guys for making my stay wonderful!
2. The ROOM, BREAKFAST and THE VIEW: The room looks exactly like the photos. The amenities are good with a comfortable bed, and everything is impeccably arranged and cleaned every day. The breakfast is delicious, served in the room at the exact time requested. From my balcony, the view overlooking the caldera is so breathtaking and relaxing, and WOW the sunset there is magic! from the comfort of my room away from the crowds.
3. LOCATION: Just a pleasant 10 minutes walk to Fira through the cobbled streets, the hotel is close enough to the vibrant activity yet peaceful enough to rest and rejuvenate.

I had an outstanding experience at Galini Hotel. Mariami was an exceptional host! remarkably friendly, professional, and attentive to every detail, ensuring a VIP service. I loved having a varied and delicious breakfast on the room balcony, overlooking the breathtaking caldera view. The bed was comfortable, and everything was 100% spotless. The room matched the site photos. The location is ideal, within a 10-15 minute walk to Fira, yet wonderfully serene and away from the crowds, offering the best of both atmospheres.. Highly recommended!

The 2 bedroom family villa is amazing and it’s completely separate from the hotel itself. The villa is spacious and private with incredible views. The breakfast is so good and having it everyday in our private terrace with a caldera views. You don’t need to go anywhere to witness the famous Santorini sunset, you can just chill in your own private terrace or jetted tub. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow! The villa we stayed out was beautiful, we did not have to worry about tourist crowds to see the sunset as we were able to see it from our villa in the jacuzzi with a nice bottle of wine! The staff were amazing, we ordered breakfast at 10am and it was delivered to our room at 10am exactly each day. The room was so beautiful and location was perfect, we were in walking distance to everything. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel. We will be coming back!

My daughter and I stayed at the Galini Hotel for a week in August, and our experience was outstanding. Everything about the hotel—from the staff and service to the food and location—was excellent.

Even before our arrival, the staff reached out to see if we had any special requests, and check-in was seamless and quick. The rooms are simple but very clean, equipped with everything you might need, including a hair dryer, toiletries, a fridge, and slippers. The hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, with Jenny and Thera (sp?) standing out for their exceptional service. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even helping us plan fantastic daily excursions.

The breakfast at the hotel was delicious, with a wide variety of options. The location was perfect, offering stunning views of the caldera and only a two-minute walk to nearby restaurants and small grocery stores. Fira’s shopping area was just a 20-minute walk away.

If we return to Greece, we will definitely stay at the Galini Hotel again, and I highly recommend this amazing property to everyone.

Jenny was a real jewel helping with all our questions and needs. The room faced the sunsets each evening and the view could not have been better.
There was a restaurant on site for breakfast which was excellent.
The only drawback was there was no pool which I had overlooked when we booked. The customer service made up for this!!

After a rough start at checkin concerning our room placement, the experience was more than made up for by its friendly staff and perfect location for walking to shops and restaurants and to our ATV. The breakfast was included at the cafe and our table was reserved for the best view. There were many choices and the staff was even happy to take photos of us. Jenny, who worked the desk, gave us many ideas about where to go and what to do. All in all, a wonderful experience!

The hospitality of the staff at Hotel Galini was beyond amazing! We arranged for a transfer to and from the ferry port and the reponses from the hotel staff to arrange the services were fast. We were greeted at arrival by front desk and we were informed of all the nearby landmarks and even guided to our room and informed of all the amenities and complimentary items. Front staff went above and beyond in their care.
Right outside our room is a shared balcony that provided a beautiful view of the caldera and sea. If you don't want to see a sunset at the crowded Oia, you can comfortably watch from your room. The room is slightly small and difficult to open and close large suitcases but we were aware of this. The room looked exactly as the pictures online.
The popular authentic greek food restaurant Aktaion is right outside the hotel. The walk to Fira to the bus station is 15minutes max from the hotel. I would consider restaying at this location in the future.

Great place, gorgeous views, clean and comfortable. Stayed in the most expensive suite and it was lovely but not exceptional. The staff were polite and accommodating but it didn't have a warm feel to the service. Lots of food options. The deck upstairs didn't have sufficent shade to use as we were expecting.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location with beautiful 180 \" views of Caldera, right in middle of Caldera, near Fira. Nice restaurant on top with good choices and very good breakfast and service. Few other real nice restaurants just few steps away. We had a room with private balcony which was very comfortable with beautiful views. My only suggestion is to update the bathroom and shower, otherwise very comfy.

The only thing we can complain about was the size of bathroom, and especially how the shower is oriented which causes water to go all over the floor. My wife and I stayed in the Junior Villa in late July 2023. This property provided an incredible and efficient experience for us. The Villa itself is in a perfect location with beautiful views from the balcony and terrace of the sea and the volcano. The private terrace has a tub and can view the sunset. Breakfast was individually ordered and delivered to the balcony in the morning. The interior of the Villa we found very cozy with the stone structure entering the rooms and shower. The staff was amazing. Messaged us every day on whatsapp to make sure we had everything we needed, arranged our transfers to/from airport, and also arranged activities for us. The general area for the hotel and villa is in the \"quieter\" part of the city which was exactly what we were looking for. Overall, the experience made our trip to Santorini as perfect as it could get. Highly recommended!

Amazing space and service!

Our stay was amazing. We were in the family villa.
On arrival, you are not able to drive too close to the unit, the final portion is down a few minutes of steps, but the gentleman who delivered our luggage was amazing and handled it with ease.
Further he delivered breakfast to our unit each morning exactly as planned and orderred.
The unit was amazing, the hot tub exactly as shown with a ridiculous view of the caldera.The arched ceiling in the unit and cave like rooms and bathroom were special. Would recommend to anyone.
The only issue was our hot water did not work on the forst night, but when notified, the same gentleman who delivered our bags, actually ran to our unit and had it working in just minutes.
I have no idea why this is shown as a 2 star hotel, it is a 5 star treatment and facility without a doubt. Book it with ease.

There is nothing specific that I didn't like; for its price point, this wonderful. I don't rate it the full five stars only because there are establishments that are possibly better at higher price points.

If the mantra of the hotel industry is \"location location location\", then this is really really good. The views from just outside my room was outstanding, and the hotel itself is a minute's walk away from where the taxi dropped me off.

We stayed in the jr. villa and absolutely loved it. It was priced so reasonably for how spacious it was. It had a bedroom, closet, bathroom, living room, kitchen and a private rooftop deck with sun chairs and a hot tub. The service was amazing and the location was great!

I stayed a couple nights in their Premier Room. I was greeted by Dennis, who checked me in and was kind enough to give me a brief overview of Santorini, and how to get around. The room was small, yet cozy and clean. Great view of the Caldera and sunset.
The included breakfast in the Galini cafe above was also delicious!
Would def recommend if looking for something semi luxurious, without the higher price that comes with amenities like an Infinity Pool/hot tub.

Everything was \"right\" about this hotel; The convenient and quiet location in the center of Firostefani, the intuitive and knowledgeable front desk staff, Dennis and Yulie (sorry if I spelled that wrong!)...the absolute serenity of our balcony (room 104) at sunset...the room was small but well-appointed, and everyday, housekeeping returned the room to an untouched state!..We spent four nights in Santorini, exploring, and before long, we realized our favorite place to be was the Hotel Galini, and the Galini Cafe...If someone said I had to spend the rest of my life in one chair, I would choose the corner table in their rooftop cafe, just staring at the caldera, my cappacino being refilled by Yolena and Vula, two of the hardest working girls in Greece! It might sound shallow that the high point of my two weeks in that beautiful country was breakfast there, but I can't ignore my feelings! Compared to Fira, there are far fewer dining options, but directly behind the hotel is Aktaion, a family restaurant celebrating 100 years of simple perfection. All in all, a flawless experience.

Did not expect the service to be that exceptional since it’s only 2 star hotel! Front desk was very helpful, provided complimentary map and advised on area, transportation, parking details. The lady that did room cleaning is amazing! She did such a great job!Also the complimentary breakfast at Galini Cafe - did not expect to be that delicious! Just make sure you do reservation for breakfast the night before at the front desk and you will get the best tables with exceptional view. Hotel located right next to Firostefani Square and it takes minutes to get to nearest restaurants. We had an amazing time with my husband, I highly recommend Galini Hotel

We had an absolutely brilliant time at Galini. Before we even arrived the helpful reception staff helped reserve us fantastic dinners and an ATV to explore the island. We had lovely tables at all those restaurants as they helped us book in advance. We stayed in the room with a balcony over the caldera and it was hands down the most incredible view I have ever had from a hotel room. It was not only stunning but took the pressure off us getting to see the view throughout our time in Santorini with all the crowds as we knew we had an amazing view to go home to! The room itself is very small but it has everything you’ll need. Galini Cafe upstairs has lovely food and they reserve tables with the best view for guests to enjoy for breakfast and dinner. Fresh breakfasts with large servings set us up well for the day. The rooms have smart TVs and fast wifi. Oh and the hotel also organised us a transfer from the ferry port to the hotel when we arrived in the island - I recommend you do this too as it can be chaotic at the port! Overall we could not recommend Galini higher.

The views are by far the best part of this hotel. The staff was very nice and welcoming. Their breakfast is good and the waitresses very kind and professional. It was a pleasure having breakfast there every morning. The food was good, as were the beverages; freshly squeezed orange juice every day, coffee, and tea.
The rooms were nice, but do need a little sprucing up. There was a musty odor that apparently was attributed to humidity in the room, and they had a dehumidifier running. I do not believe that is sufficient. Rooms need to be freshly painted, and this issue should be corrected. Other than that they provide bottled water every day of your stay.
Nice place that can be made so much better if the issues I just mentioned are addressed. The views from the balconies are breathtaking without a doubt.

Location, Location, Location! Galini Hotel is located in the best location on Santorini, in Fiostefani, which is adjacent to Fira, the Island's capital. Not so crowded but within walking distance. The views are spectacular. Galini's team is very friendly and helpful, from the manager, through the receptionists to the housekeeper. It is highly recommended! Not cheap, but good value.

This place is amazing! The location is so convenient and walkable to both Fira and Imerovigli. The walk way to both in the afternoon will have fabulous sunset view. There are plenty restaurants, bars and cafe nearby. Actually the Galini cafe is one of the best in the area with great sea view. We were living in the junior village. The village is so good 5-start hotel standard equipped. We stayed in three different village during the holiday. This villa is not the most expensive one but it is the one best in our view. The room is so comfortable and clean. We have been serving breakfast in our balcony every morning. You can choose what you like to have for your breakfast, such as home made omelette with your own choice of filling, fresh fruit salad, bread and jam, tea and coffee, fresh made juice of your choice, greek yogurt with different topping and etc. Absolutely five start hotel standard. Highly recommend!!!

The location of Galini Hotel is breathtaking! It overlooks the sea and you have a perfect view of the sunset. We watched the sunset from our room balcony every night and was blown away! The hotel also includes free breakfast at their cafe next door which included orange juice and coffee or tea and choices of continental breakfast, omelet, savory pancake and yogurt. The food was delicious! The room was also very clean and tidy and the bed was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Christina had great communication and made transfer accommodations for us and Juliana (sp?) greeted us when we arrived on the main street. The only thing we disliked was the shower which was a little small and there was no shower door so water always splashed on the floor. Other than that, we would definitely stay at this hotel also!!

Very nice hotel! Newly renovated and very cute design. Amazing view from the hotel and perfectly located. Amazing breakfast and hotel bar. No pool, so if you are looking for that I guess a minus. But really amazing!

Everything about this hotel and Santorini was amazing- we rented an Atv to get around the island- as taking buses was doable but time consuming. Every staff at this property was accommodating and polite. They gave us an overview of the island and things to do around- the VIEW is to die for! Will recommend to anyone visiting the island.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Just a brief walk north of Fira in a much more quiet, peaceful area with excellent restaurants. The women at the front desk were incredibly helpful with everything from booking an excursion, restaurant reservations, and airport/ferry transfers. Although the room itself was small, we loved spending time on the balcony which had the most amazing view.

Quite possibly the most beautiful place on the planet. I’ve been to many places in the world and have stayed at many hotels - and this is perfection.

There are no words to describe the view from this hotel, it just needs to be seen.

Great stay and a beautiful view

It's a beautiful hotel that's clean and well kept. The staff was great when I was checking in. I'd actually rented an atv to explore the island and didn't return till much later that evening and they had put my bag in my room already which was great.

The room I booked wasn't terribly large but it was comfortable. There was a fridge which did come in handy. The bathroom wasn't cramped and the shower had good water pressure.

The view from the common area was amazing, breakfast at their cafe was excellent. Several options were available.
We requested a late check in and everything was arranged for us.
Due to the cafe starting prep early, there was sometimes a lot of noise. Depends where the room is. We got ours changed due to the noise of the coffee machine.

One issue was that they had this green and blue lights for electrical sensors and security that could not be turned off at all. I had A lot of problem sleeping as it was too bright. It is also positioned right in front of the bed. That was a big no no for me.

Otherwise, location was good.

Galini Hotel was one of the best hotels that I have ever stayed at! The services provided were excellent, our room included a continental breakfast that was great! Upon check in the staff was very helpful, they had a mini map of Santorini and outlined all the best restaurants, how to operate public transportation, significant places about each location, etc. Although our room did not have a balcony, there was one that was shared and it provided a gorgeous view of the surrounding area.The room was very spacious and was kept very clean. I would definitely recommend staying here for any future visits to Santorini.

PROS: We finally came back to Santorini after 28 years. We found the Galin Hotel to be in an ideal choice. At the top of the Caldera which minimized stairs. View was stunning! Perfect for taking in the sunsets. Located in the Town of Firostefani which translated into a 10-15 min walk to the town center of Fira. Depending on your chosen route, either; touristy cobblestone walkways which will have you passing shops and restaurants and ever changing view perspectives, or nearby roadway, more direct, still passing many conveniences. Bus/taxi martialling area is a convenient 50 ft away. Extremely high grades for the Galini Hotel staff. Both Christina and Joanna played a significant role in helping to answer any questions or requests for advice. They helped heighten the entire experience of our stay on this dreamy island. The rooftop café/restaurant offered a lovely breakfast (included). Freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee / teas, and a small but effective selection of menu choices. Staff there also deserve top grades! This restaurant is also available to the general public, they ensured that hotel guests would receive premium seating locations by reserving a selection of tables. Views were stunning from there also.
CONS: Santorini is suffering from there own success. An increase in tourism, both from island stays, to cruise ships stopping has created a busy atmosphere. NOTE; surprised to find out that all island toilet paper MUST be deposited into waist cans, never flushed!

Wonderful Stay!

We had such an amazing stay at the Galini Hotel! The views from the balcony were breathtaking. The hotel was also in a great area with just a quick walk to Fira. But there are quite a few restaurants right by the hotel as well. The staff at the hotel were very nice and knowledgeable. The breakfast was very yummy with generous portions. I would 100% stay there again.

This charming small family hotel is just lovely. They were so welcoming and helpful. The included breakfasts at the small cafe overlooking the water was a perfect way to begin each day. Christina made fabulous suggestions for outstanding dinners, especially Demetris for fresh fish. We left our iPad and she graciously sent it to our next hotel. Excellent on every level. We will return!!!
