This was our 2nd stay but this time we were in the older Naxos resort section rather than the galaxy section but enjoyed the room even though it wasn’t renovated as much (updated but not renovated). Breakfast was fabulous as last time. Enjoyed the discounted beach sunbeds. Location is the best in Naxos as you’re right on the beach and only a short walk to amazing restaurants. We hope to return for a 3rd visit !!

Huge selection and all the food was good quality. Randomly tried a breakfast bar and was surprised it was one of the best breakfast bars I've ever had. Staff was incredibly nice and made suggestions for sights to see and restaurants. Room was comfortable and the tv had nfl in German which was fun.

I would’ve given this property a five but I think that since it is stated that the water is not potable; it should be replenished every day for free and not 3€ a little bottle. We were told by the staff that this is the management’s decisions and that I should’ve complained on the spot. I worked in the hotel industry and if a hotel hopes for repeat customers; do it right the first time. Thanks

The location of the hotel was perfect. Bathroom was a tiny bit smaller than I would have liked but was very manageable. Beds were quite comfortable.
Resort is very close to the beach and walkable to the old town where there’s many dinning options. Close to the port for excursions.

We booked several rooms at this resort for our family - 6 people for three nights, 4 people for one night. At check in we were only informed about breakfast and the hours. In addition, we were asked about food allergies. At no time were we told about the fact that we paid for “half board” or the dinner hours. When we questioned the staff before we left, they did not help us. We wrote to them and they lied and said that we did get the information. I am deeply upset about how we were treated. We would have definitely used the included dinner option had we been adequately informed.

Couple's stay in Naxos

This beach resort is an excellent place to stay. Key features include a lovely swimming pool, good beach access, a really great buffet breakfast, and a good walkable distance from everything in town.
Very friendly staff, and accommodating to our needs, including turning our two single beds into one double. Pretty much any (minor) issue we raised was dealt with smoothly.

One warning: taxi fares from port to hotel are ridiculously expensive - €20 quoted by both taxi driver and hotel, for what was an easy 10 minute walk. It may be cheaper to request a taxi to the local beach or another nearby destination and walk 1 minute from there, as we suspect the fee is elevated for this hotel (we did not try it).

The hotel is quite large and the area very convenient to both shop and services and a beach.
The room we had was large and had everything we needed.
Staff at the front desk gave us different answers to similar questions so it was a bit confusing (eg using the phone).
The pool is very nice but it would be nice if it opened before 11am.

Great friendly hotel close to beach and town

Great hotel. About 250 metres walk to sandy beach, although we stayed by the well maintained pool. Only problem with it is it didn't open until 11.00 so no swim before breakfast. There is a wide selection of food on offer at breakfast ranging from Greek yoghut, cereal, toast, meats and cheeses and bacon and eggs, (although these this tended to be a bit cold). The restaurant staff were very attentive and the reception team very helpful. I would definitely come back again.

The place is old with outdated amenities. Very over priced. Not worth the price we paid. There were other places much nicer for the same or less price. I would not stay here again and would not recommend this place to anyone.

Pool was nice but only opens at 11:00 and closed at 19:00.

Best part was being close to the beach. However, they have beds and umbrellas at the beach that you need to pay for. They say you get ‘half off’ but we pay so much for the hotel, why do they charge an extra 15 euro for 2 beds?

Hard pass… find another place.

$200 cad a night
Door lock was bad, struggled to get into room daily, a/AC barely worked, shower was barely usable. It had an accordion style door and a faucet mounted in the middle of the wall (not on the same wall as shower head) and incredibly tiny, making it hard to use and also dangerous. We'd complained about the first 2 issues and they said they would send someone to fix it and they never did.
Overall the resort itself is cozy, nice pool, free breakfast buffet restaurant, and right across the street from the beach. The staff was friendly and helpful for the most part.
They should not be charging for the beach chairs for hotel guests, so at 15 euro a day ($22 cad) that adds up!

Prices are good on beach and stores compare to other islands. They should definitely take care of the bad smell in the front of the hotel. Lovely resort with huge pool/area and right next to the beach. Use of beach lounges and umbrellas available at half normal rate for resort guests. Lovely breakfast with extensive selection. 15/20 minute walk to the port, shopping and restaurants. Although there were also several restaurants within just a few minutes walk from resort. Staff throught the resort were friendly and accommodating. Whilst the room was comfortable it was quite small, dated and could do with a makeover.

This was honestly a truly stunning hotel. I stayed for a couple of days for vacation. It’s literally only a couple minutes away from Agios Georgios beach and the hotel itself also has an amazing pool just in case you don’t feel like going to the beach. The room itself was very clean and it had a mini fridge as well so you can keep your drinks cold etc. My only small issue was that the air conditioning wasn’t strong enough in my opinion so at night time it felt pretty humid. But overall I would absolutely stay here again. Gorgeous hotel.

Breakfast not bad. The pool is obviously their main priority and attraction. Wading pool is available in other hotels in the vicinity and he ocean is literally 3 mins away so i dont get the need for a pool.

I booked a \"garden view\" with a double bed and my view was of a parking lot with some trees. I also got two singles put together.

Lastly, no wifi in my room. Had to go to the lobby to get wifi. Its so crazy that wifi is still a barrier in 2023.

The room and furniture is crazy outdated and stuck in time.

Gorgeous hotel - cannot overstate my praise

I loved every aspect of this hotel. The housekeepers were attentive to cleaning rooms on a timely basis. The hotel grounds were impeccable and the staff super nice and helpful. The resort is minutes away from the town of Naxos which had ample restaurants and waking distance away. The port is also nearby for ferries to other islands and tours of Naxos. The hotel is newly renovated and modern. My room was pool view with a terrace and was perfect for my vacation.

Earl check in and a late check out were accommodated which really made the trip easier.
Great communication before we arrived - helped to book a taxi for us which greeted us at the ferry. €20.
Breakfast each morning was fabulous.
The oool area was busy and you can struggle to get a sun bed. Pool opens at 11am - 19:30.
The hotel has an agreement at the beach where you can rent a pair of sun beds (and one beanbag) for €15 instead of €30. These come with lock boxes and ‘call buttons’ for beach side service.
There is a small bakery attached to the supermarket which sells great smoothies and sandwiches at a fraction of the cost of the sun bed service.
Beach is shallow and great for families and swimmers.
Hotel is comfy. Good balconies. Daily maid service. Towels are provided for the pool and beach.
There is a book library (although not many English ones to swap).
Nice cocktails at the pool bar.
Really close to the narrow white passage ways and shops near the museum (near the port) and we strolled there most nights.
Near to the port front where it is very lovely.

Nice resort close to beach. Has a beach club but not just for hotel guests and sells out early. Suppose to be cheaper for hotel guests but heard same price for all. Beds too hard but did supply a thin mattress pad. Very friendly staff Nice pool but again often difficult to find chairs. Overall nice stay nice room with small balcony.

This was our 3rd hotel of our island hop, on check in was told that I hadn’t paid and full payment was due even after showing proof of payment still kept on that I had to pay on the 4th viewing of payment details went back to office again came back and said you’ve paid but now need your payment for Greek tax €1.50 I said will pay on check out as I’m sure we’ll be having drinks etc and will pay on check out.
This didn’t sit well either, summary wifi poor, hot breakfast items cold,asked for some milk at 9 30pm one evening for making a tea in room to be told hotel hasn’t any,good location, pool staff superb big shout out to mike and guys running pool area. Lobby impressive but a case of fur coat no knickers.

Naxos Resort hits the spot !

Sensible choice for Naxos Town as many boxes ticked and thoroughly relaxing as no transport really needed unless you really have the time to explore the island.
Great reception and swimming pool area with friendly reception and bar service.
Few metres walk to St George's Beach with beach bars. Taxi ride to Plaka Beach about 10 to 15 mins.
Few minutes safe walk to Central Square and on to old town and port. We walked from and to ferry.
Sizeable sized low rise hotel with water feature garden setting, retaining professional service without feeling like a chain hotel.
Good buffet breakfast service with much choice and well cooked.
Rooms maybe could do with an uplift but nothing to really complain about e.g. bathroom fine just room area could do with freshening up. Only suggestion is mattress upgrade like many hotels now in Greece.

Not directly on the beach, but just a stone throw away to the beach. Walking distance to great restaurants, local shops, marina, and Apollo's Temple. This is not a party island like Makino, definitely family and senior friendly. Pick up to/from airport and ferry were a nice touch. The nicest staff and front desk is knowledgeable of local attractions. Beautifully maintain pool and bar staff Dora always service you with a huge smile. Hotel still uses physical key, it got stuck often, and that's our only recommendation that they should switch it to card access. We love it and we will be back and stay again!

Real little gem

Loved this hotel. Location was wonderful. Staff were very professional and helpful. Hotel was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We will definitely return

Good but could be better

The initial impression on arrival is good, reception area looks bright and inviting leading to the breakfast and pool area. A street back from the beach great location when the weather is good.
Negatives-when you go to your room...hmm adjectives like drab, small and dated come to mind. Also the bathroom is tiny with an all purpose dispenser being the only toiletries offered.
Pool area not able to accommodate guests when weather isn't great.
There should be some kind of monitoring systems for lounge chairs not being used but where the guest has left a towel claiming it for later. Not fair for other guest who can t get a lounger by the pool.
Positive- good selection of breakfast foods is offered.

Great Location and Great Base for Naxos

I totally recommend staying here. It's easy walking distance from town, with the beach right across the street. We didn't use the pool (there was a beach!) but did have some drinks at the bar, and the food was good for breakfast. Don't hesitate to stay here!

Close enough to everything including beach, promenade and shopping, but not in the midst of it.

Reception staff were gracious, professional and fun. Special thanks to M. working evening reception who helped with several small details that added to our travel success.
