Our stay at Crystal Mare was fabulous. The room and property was immaculate. All the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. It was about a 20 minute walk to get to the Port, but it was an easy walk and we enjoyed being able to walk to and from our meals/activities. I wish we could have stayed longer, but I hope we get to come back again one day!

Everything about Crystal Mare was exceptional! The grounds and room were spotless. Elisavet and her staff were amazing. Hospitable, friendly and very helpful. They arranged transport from the port and arranged a car rental to be delivered to the hotel. Location was perfect. A nice walk to get into town and the beach was a 4 min walk with plenty of tavernas. Breakfast was fresh with plenty of selections to start your day. Rooms and bathroom were very spacious and patio was a delight. No attention to detail were missed. Words cannot express how incredibly pleased we were.

I loved our stay at Crystal Mare! Elisabeth and Carmen were both so hospitable, offering a full tour of our rooms, giving suggestions of what to do, setting up reservations, and making sure we were satisfied during breakfast. This was our favorite hotel during our stay in Greece, and I would be delighted to return to Naxos. It's not in the heart of the downtown/port area, but it's an easy 20-30 walk to the heart of the old town Naxos area. The hotel has a private parking lot, which was helpful to have while he had our rental. Also, it is a 5-10 minute walk from the beach, which was a nice spot to visit on our first and last days. The rooms were spacious and beds extremely comfortable. I loved that the rooms had a small kitchenette, which was a nice option for heating up leftovers and washing our water bottles. We also looked forward to the daily breakfast buffet. The Naxian cheese is still so memorable for me. 5/5 - highly recommend!

It is a lovely small business, with a family approach to service. So many things had been thought of, including one socket that stays on when the apartment power is turned off by taking the fob key out of the wall reader. We had an amazing stay! Elizabeth, the property owner and Carmen went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time in Naxos. They provided us with several recommendations on things to do around the island and places to eat and arranged a rental car for us. The room was perfect and spacious and had everything we needed as well. It was quiet and we were a quick walk to the town and beach!

Beautiful hotel and Elizabeth is a lovely host! The hotel was very nice and the breakfast was delicious! Naxos was beautiful and we enjoyed renting an atv to visit the olive museum and eat at rotanda and visit aperathos (all were the highlight of our trip to Naxos) A reminder to tourists: do NOT drink the water in Chora. It made me violently sick for a day.

The rooms are all beautifully decorated with either an outside terrace or balcony. The rooms are in beautiful large gardens and are very clean and comfortable. The manager and staff are really helpful and friendly - booking cabs and advising on buses or places to visit. Breakfasts are of very good quality. Crystal Mare is a few minutes walk from a good sandy beach with pleasant beach bars and just a short walk in to Naxos town. Crystal Mare is very well run by Elisavet and her staff and is a lovely relaxing place to stay on holiday - we had an amazing week and would definitely return.

- Elisavet!!! Words cannot describe how kind, generous and caring she was. First off, we lost a full day and a half in Naxos due to our ferry cancellation. She did not hesitate to refund us for our one night stay- I knew from this moment that she genuinely cares about her guests. The hotel was absolutely marvelous - the design, attention to detail and CLEANLINESS was otherworldly. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk into Chora (town) which is not too bad! Breakfast is served buffet style with plenty of options and is REALLY good (bread, dessert, pastry, tomato, olive, egg, meats, cheese, coffee and even cappuccino made to order if you prefer).
- When we arrived, she gave us recommendations for what to see on the island since we only had one day total to spend. The weather was a bit windy and since we did not rent a car, we opted to do the bus tour to see the villages up on the mountains versus spend the day at the beach. We went to several of the recommendations, they were all top notch! The room was clean and well kept, and her attention to detail makes all the difference. I never had staff as friendly and thoughtful as this hotel. Elizabeth (the hotel owner) offered to drive us to a nearby beach herself. The hotel offered a delicious breakfast each morning. The hotel is about a five minute walk to a nice sandy organized beach. The hotel is walkable to many restaurants in the area. The hotel was updated and very clean. Hotel also provided us with beach towels.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits au Crystal Mare. Elisazet et est une hôte très attentionnée et disponible. Les chambres sont très propres et confortables. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et varié. L’hôtel est à distance de marche d’une belle plage et la vieille ville de Naxos est à environ 15-20 minutes à pied le long de la plage sur un boardwalk, très agréable. L’hôtel est situé sur une route très passante, ce n’est pas un problème dans la chambre quand les fenêtres sont fermées, mais nous avons trouvé cela dérangeant sur la terrasse. Ceci dit, les jardins sont très beaux et l’hôtel dispose de tables et chaises à l’arrière pour ceux désirant un peu plus de calme.

Lieu de séjour tres sympathique, confortable. Accueil remarquable, autant par Elisavet,la gérante, que par le personnel, toujours aux petits soins et pas avares de conseils avisés. Le petit déjeuner est tres bien garni pour une structure de cette dimension. La route en face peut faire peur à première vue,mais les appartements sont tres bien isolés phoniquement.la belle plage commence à 200m ainsi que les premiers resto, le port de Chora et sa vie animée sont à 1km2 environ par le cheminement aménagé de la plage.

Me and my girlfriend had the pleasure of meeting this wonderful, caring, kind and funny woman during our short stay. She made us feel welcome, and was all in all an absolute pleasure to be around.
Besides this wonderful woman, the room was fantastic - elegant and clean. Big bed, decently sized bathroom and a cozy outdoor area. Breakfast - amazing.
The only downside, for us, was the 25 minute walk to downtown Naxos. For those who likes a gem outside the citycenter and close to the beach, this place is made for you.
Can also recommend the outdoor cinema, which was surprisingly cozy.

Besides this wonderful woman, the room was fantastic - elegant and clean. Big bed, decently sized bathroom and a cozy outdoor area. Breakfast - amazing.
The only downside, for us, was the 25 minute walk to downtown Naxos. For those who likes a gem outside the citycenter and close to the beach, this place is made for you.
Can also recommend the outdoor cinema, which was surprisingly cozy.

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad bij Elisavet. Een super vriendelijke dame die het iedereen naar de zin wilt maken. Alles is dik voor mekaar, over alles is nagedacht en zorg aan besteed. Het is kleinschalig met 6 kamers, schoon en mooi ingericht en gedecoreerd. De kamer is ruim, voorzien van heerlijke bedden met goede matrassen, een koelkast, koffie apparaat, hordeur en dubbelglas. Iedere dag werden waterflessen neergezet. Flesje rose en fruit op de kamer.
Wij verbleven op de begane grond en hadden een ruim terras erbij. Ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid.
Vanuit de accommodatie is het strand makkelijk bereikbaar via een zandpaadje en langs het strand loopt een houten wandelpad naar het centrum.

A very comfortable, nice and joyful stay!
This is probably one of the best places I've ever stayed. It's located about 1 kilometer south from the center and when walking along the beach it only takes 10 minutes. The host Elizabeth was an amazing host and overall person. She was very interactive and helped me a lot figuring out anything I needed to know about the island. There is a busstop 100 meters along the road where to bus runs regularly.
The rooms were amazing. Everything was nice, clean, simple and has everything you need. My room came with a bottle of rosé, some fruits and daily changed water bottles that I could drink/eat as I liked. The garden gives a nice cozy touch and with the \"sunbeds\" it was just nice. The place is 200 meters from the nearest beach, which is perfectly fine. There is no pool, but with the beach near I didn't see any problem with it. When going for dinner at night you can watch the sunset on the beach which is nice.
The busstation is approximately 15 - 20 min walk
