Simple rooms in a beautiful setting, great location close to the square but on an easy to find street.
Staff were fantastic, breakfast had plenty of choice and was routinely stocked, all items having been prepared and made on site, you can see them making/baking as you pass throughout the day.
Even though there are limited sunbeds for the number of guests, people are out exploring at differing times so it is easy enough to get a spot to chill. Had a lovely hammam and massage experience too. Great trip.

This hotel was incredible! What stood out is the staff. There was always someone around willing and able to help. They were very attentive. We organized the hotel transfer and they helped us with the bags, highly recommend. The rooms were spacious and clean and the pool was fantastic. Loved the restaurant as well!! Great riad. The staff was so helpful from check in to check out. They were knowledgeable of the area, and even ensured our safety by walking us to and from the main road and arranged taxis and excursions for us. The room was nice and cozy with basic amenities. The onsite restaurant was good, both upstairs and poolside. If I return to Marrakech, I'd definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 4 nights.

The location is perfect for exploring the square, medina and souks. It offers a welcoming tranquil setting amidst the chaos and bustle of Marrakech just outside.

Breakfast was great - lots of choice including fresh breads, pastries & omelettes.

We ate in the hotel twice - good menu and great quality food, reasonably priced.

The room was immaculate and the staff were so friendly.

Spa and trips were expensive but plenty to pick from.

This Riad was a dream! If we ever return to Morocco, we will definitely stay here again. The location was incredible because it was less than 5 minutes walking to any of the main places, yet a quiet setting to rest and sleep. The rooms were big and air conditioned. The breakfast buffet put even the biggest American buffets to shame. The customer service was also impeccable. They provide everything one would need from bath amenities to pool towels to giving directions and tips for where to go. We had a minor hiccup in our stay and the staff handled it immediately and provided dinner on the house just for the inconvenience. We have traveled to multiple countries and this stay has been one of the best ever. Being from the southern part of the USA, I am accustomed to great hospitality and this Riad did not disappoint.

We stayed here on a family trip. There were four of us staying in the 4-person suite. We had a wonderful stay. The A/C worked amazingly, which is super important when staying in Marrakech in the summer. The property was absolutely beautiful and the staff couldn’t be beat! Highly recommend if you want to stay close to the Medina and not break the bank!

We stayed as a group of five and, while the location was excellent and the breakfast was good, there were several disappointing aspects to our stay.
Before arrival, I had already advised the hotel that accessibility would be an issue, but unfortunately there was little consideration given to this. The property has steps throughout, no ramps, and the step into the bathroom was extremely high, making it unsuitable for anyone with mobility difficulties or disabilities.
The room we were allocated also had no window, which made it feel quite enclosed. In addition, I mentioned when booking that it was my birthday, but no effort or acknowledgement was made by the hotel.
Overall, the hotel is in a great location and the breakfast was enjoyable. It would be suitable for couples or groups without children and with no accessibility requirements, but I would not recommend it for guests with mobility needs.

I do not recommend purchasing the “half board” or all inclusive (if available). While breakfast was good, dinners lacked choices and were bland. We were there for three nights and regretted paying ahead for dinner as there are so many better options outside the hotel.

The location is excellent and the beds were comfortable.

Most of the staff was not friendly. The massage I got was rushed and then the massage therapist left, turned the lights off without a word. I had to fumble in the dark to turn the lights back on. The AC in the room was barely working. There were ants all over the one side of the room. The food and service at the pool bar were horrible. We literally had to get up to get a menu, to order and to let them know we were finished. I booked transportation to the airport with the hotel and they told me when it was time to leave that I had to pay the driver in cash. They should’ve mentioned that when I booked it. Also, since we left early in the morning I asked for a bagged breakfast which they said would be done but no breakfast was prepared for us. Overall not a good experience and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

The Riad was ok. Staff was wonderful, breakfast was ok but staff at breakfast need supervision, the young lady making the omelet was eating the cheese and the other vegetables while she was cooking which is unsanitary.
We had lunch at the restaurant and was expensive and the worst I had in Morocco. I am sorry I paid the amount of money I paid, not worst my money.

At least it wouldn't have been comfortable to have kids yelling and splashing in the pool as others drank tea 2 feet away.

What a beautiful riad 😍 From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and looked after. The staff were kind, attentive and always happy to help with anything we needed. The difference in hospitality compared to other places we visited during our trip was night and day.

The riad itself is stunning. Traditional Moroccan charm, beautiful décor, spotless rooms and a peaceful atmosphere despite being in such a great location. Everything felt authentic and well cared for.

One of the highlights was how relaxing the experience was. Whether we were enjoying breakfast, spending time around the pool or enjoying the HAMAM & SPA!!! there was always a calm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff genuinely made us feel at home.

The location was also perfect. Close enough to explore the Medina and Jemaa el-Fnaa on foot, while still feeling like a peaceful escape from the busy streets outside.

Thank you to everyone at Palais Moulay Said for making our stay so memorable. We left with wonderful memories and would happily stay here again on our next trip to Marrakech. ❤️❤️❤️

I liked our stay in this hotel. It is very beautiful so I got a lot of instagrammable pictures. Fantastic location to major tourist spots and souks too! The food is delicious, I really loved their chicken mushroom pasta! Also, everyone in the hotel is helpful, courteous and friendly! I stayed here recently and had a mixed experience overall. The hotel itself was clean, the staff was helpful throughout my stay, and I appreciated seeing security regularly present around the property, which made things feel more secure.

That said, there were a few issues that kept this from being a higher-rated stay. The bed in my room was pretty uncomfortable, which made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. More concerning was the condition of the flooring right outside my room — parts of the floor were cracking and felt unstable to walk on, which honestly seemed unsafe.

The breakfast was decent, but the options were somewhat limited, especially when it came to protein choices. The pool area was nice, but it was difficult to actually enjoy because the pool chairs were almost always occupied.

Overall, the hotel has some positives, especially with cleanliness and staff service, but there are definitely maintenance and comfort issues that need attention.

Our stay at the riad had both positives and negatives. The riad itself is beautiful, the location is excellent, and we really enjoyed the food, breakfast, and poolside service.

Unfortunately, the overall experience was impacted by poor communication from the staff. We had to ask multiple times just to receive towels, and there was no proper communication regarding changes to our stay dates. The biggest issue was with the airport transfer — it was confirmed beforehand, but after waiting we were told no one was coming to pick us up. Staff also confused us with another guest and kept insisting our pickup was supposed to be at 5 PM, even though our confirmed pickup time was 10:50 AM.

The front desk staff also came across as moody and not very welcoming at times. Overall, the riad has great potential because the property itself is very nice, but the communication and customer service need significant improvement.

My friends and I recently stayed at this riad during our trip to Marrakech, and we had an amazing experience. The location was perfect as it was right in the middle of the Medina and only a short walk from Jemaa el-Fnaa. The area was always lively with beautiful souks, markets, and so much to explore right outside the riad.

The riad itself was stunning, traditional, cozy, and beautifully designed. We especially loved the pool area and seating spaces, which had a relaxing vibe. The rooms were comfortable, breakfast every morning was delicious with different options each day, and the breakfast area was beautiful as well.

What truly made our stay unforgettable was the staff. Everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful. During the trip, I injured my leg, and the staff were so caring and supportive. Some even refused tips, which showed how genuine they were.

A special thank you to Ali, Abdulghani, and Majid, as well as the taxi drivers and all the workers who made our stay so memorable.

The riad and location were amazing, but the people truly made the experience special. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Marrakech!

We stayed here twice on our recent trip to Morocco (both booked in advance). The first time we had paid for a room a day earlier than our arrival so we would have a place to go immediately, but were disappointed when our room was not ready for us. The second time we stayed we were in a room by the hotel kitchen, which was very loud. When we tried to talk to the front desk about potentially moving to a different room we were blown off. Also to note, smoking is allowed on the balconies directly outside the rooms. Would not stay again.

The hotel was ok. It is located centered in the souks and the walking distance to many activities.
The staff is not accommodating, they do the bare minimum. I asked for a hair dryer my entire stay and kept being told there isn’t one available to go back early in the morning when people are checking out. I asked about the salon and I was told to wash my hair only room and the person would come to dry in my room. I told them there isn’t conditioner and was told the salon also doesn’t have hair conditioner. My toilet was not flushing , 3 times I called to have someone come fix it. In the morning the bathroom had a sewer like smell.
For breakfast it’s the same every day. Bakery items, like croissants and a omelette station. The only thing that made this stay decent is the location of the hotel.

Breakfast was great. So much choice with food. If you dont drink black tea or berber tea there are no other options (tea drinkers).

The restaurant at the hotel serves great food. Pizzas salads etc. My only complaint is that milkshakes are on the menu but in five days we could only have them once. Everyday they would say \"no milkshakes\" yet they could make iced mochas?

The pool area is beautiful. The pool life guard just sits around. The pool had lots of dead flies around the edges and floating around ..saw him clean it once...could do it more often. Its also freezing cold! The sunbathing area doesnt have many loungers and due to the courtyard design only gets the sun a few hours a day. Its a shame there is not a roof terrace to sunbathe.

The room was pleasant, comfortable but basic. Could have done with a bin in the bedroom and a mini fridge to keep water cold. Bedside tables only big enough for the lamp and not enough sockets to have lamp on and charge phone by bed.

House keeping would knock at strange times 8.30am or 9pm at night. They would take the dirty towels but not give us clean ones til later. They only cleaned the room once in 6 days and never took rubbish or empty glasses/bowls from the restaurant.

Overall it was good value for money. More of a hotel feel than the riad experience I'd had at other establishments.

The omelet station was only let down by the fact they didn't wipe out the bowls/pans between clients which is a problem if you have an allergy to dairy! The rooms don't have hairdryers but was told were available from reception. We asked on 3 separate occasions without success. Surely a hotel of this size had more than one! No sink plug in the bathroom washbasin which made shaving a problem. Apart from these little niggles we enjoyed our stay there. Hotel situated right in the centre of all places of interest. Pool and snack bar was very good. All the staff were very friendly and helpful.

It would have been nice to have bottles of water replaced in our room every day we stayed, rather than just day 1.
Our toilet was not flushing so reported it and it was fixed straight away, only thing was that the bath mat was soaking wet and they left it on top of the bed!
When we arrived we were not greeted with complimentary drinks as we saw other guests were greeted with drinks (Moroccan tea).
I needed help with a restaurant booking so approached the front desk, the First Gentleman I spoke to I felt was abit abrupt with me! so spoke to another one instead who was very helpful.
I would have loved a long floor mirror in our room rather than one hung on the wall as a decorative piece( but could not even look in it as it was high up).
This is not a complaint but just something I experienced!
I would definitely book this riad again as it was so convenient to a lot of the places we visited, very clean, breakfast was enjoyable and we really enjoyed our stay. The staff were polite and helpful especially the guy who took our suitcases from us midway on the way to our taxi ( as he just took other guests to their taxi, and saw us) the poor man nearly got run over by a motorcycle but he was not hurt!

Upon arriving at the airport at 10:44pm we were hoping to be greeted by our driver, who we booked 3 months prior to arrival, that was not the case. We had to wait an hour for him to arrive to pick us up. No apology just went on like nothing had happened. We arrive at entrance where they drop you off with your luggage and someone comes to meet you to bring you down the alley to your hotel. Check in was fine and smooth BUT once we got into the room is where we were both put off (not even the first two scenarios were as bad). There were moths and gnats as the window was left open and stains on the sheets. At this point it was late and we were both exhausted, but not tired enough to hop on the internet and book another hotel for the next night. We got minimal sleep and had a tour booked for early the next morning. After the tour we came back to the room, collected our luggage, and went down to check out a day early. They basically just took our keys, gave us a thumbs up, and told us to have a nice day (kick rocks) after telling them about the room situation. Once again no apologies, \"how can we make this right?\", nothing.

Amazing location and a nice hotel overall but the service is pretty lacking. There was no “do not disturb” sign in our room and we went down to reception and asked them not to clean the room one day, they went in and did it anyway. The reception wouldn’t provide change for notes and made us use our card but had another till they were using to give change from the bar. You have to walk from the restaurant downstairs to reception any time you want to pay for anything. We pre-booked a taxi for 7.40am to the airport on our last day the night before but this meant nothing, they call the taxi on the day at the time you requested so we came down expecting our taxi to be ready and had to wait another 15 mins. Breakfast is decent but otherwise the food is very poor (bordering on inedible) so would recommend eating out.

Palais Moulay said was absolutely excellant. We had a great stay. Honestly it was fantastic value for money. Really central to the main medina, literally within minutes you were right in the center. The riad was beautiful...breakfast was exactly what you would hope for, great choice. The staff were amazingly helpful. We couldnt fault it. I have no idea why it has received the negative views that might put you off going. Thank you so much for the best of stays.

Very Clean Rooms, newly renovated. Very difficult to find, especially if the driver doesn’t know the area. Not a big hotel sign located on top. We passed it three times, until we had to call the hotel for the location. The Staff is very friendly. The Medina where it’s located inside of is very congested with shops and tourists. The hotel room is very basic. The Breakfast is nice, but keep away from any milk products, as their milk is not pasteurized. It caused all of us a lot of stomach problems.

If you’re looking for a nice peaceful getaway,
I would definitely suggest getting away from the Marrakesh.

And be careful of bribery, NOT AT THE HOTEL, but outside. Even if you ask for directions, people that will some money, so make sure you keep loose change with you.

A beautiful hotel, just wish it was at a different location. I would not go again to Marrakesh. Try Tangire or Essaouira ( Amazing spots ).

If you do decide to go, make sure they drop you off at the Square that way it’s a straight walk to the hotel.

Otherwise there’s a lot of alleys which at night is not the cleanest and slightly scary with odd characters. Keep ur belonging safe !!!!

Just returned from a three night stay. Found all staff polite, helpful and very welcoming. We could book trips with them and received a map of area. We're also given a name and number to call if we needed assistance whilst out and about. Breakfast was fresh with a good variety. During peek times they did struggle a little to keep topped up. There rooms were good. We had one leak issue due to the weather too which staff were quick to sort out. The hotel is situated in a great location. Best advise, what's out for the mopeds!

Absolute horrible riad !!!! Please avoid at all cost. Had flooding in our room the first 3 nights couldn’t sleep since we couldn’t turn on the AC. Only tried to compensate us with a 30 min massage which was also terrible. Wifi in the riad was horrible so we needed to end up buying more data to use internet. Rooms were super outdated and dark. Found the staff to be quite racist , as we were one of the very few brown people at the riad + my wife is a hijabi . They kept asking us for our room number during breakfast while others infront of us would just walk right past. Absolute horrible experience at palais moulay said try to avoid at all cost . The waiters at the restaurants aren’t also trained well and are quiet rude

If you are thinking of staying here, you must! We stayed here for 2 nights on our arrival to Marrakesh and our first time in Morocco. The taxi from airport (organised by hotel) took us to the taxi stand at the end of the road and someone from the hotel took our luggage and through the streets to the hotel. It is a beautiful oasis in the middle of Marrakesh!! So well located and Palais Moulay is so beautiful and it was a really magical part of our stay in Marrakesh and Morocco!

Rooms 115 and 114 impossible to get a good night sleep. Paper thin walls and doors. You can hear guests and staff walking and chatting starting at 7am. No TV, no safe and no hair dryer in room. Bathrooms are old and outdated

Positives about this Riad is its location in heart of old market and city centre . Interiors are very nicely done in traditional Moroccan style and give royal feeling. Biggest Negative of this Riad is its staff. They are very rude and dont know anything about hospitality. I would not recommend this Riad just because of its staff and they will ruin ur holiday and stay.
