The breakfast was worthless and of extreme poor quality. No yogurt, muffins or fruit. The eggs and sausage were greasy and like rubber. The television was none existent and the internet sketchy at best. No one capable to help. The pool was filthy and probably a health risk.

Great little hotel for a park and fly. Has a restaurant/bar and huge parking lot. They offer free parking for up to 10 days with a nights stay. Definitely worth it. Will definitely use again if flying out of Halifax. The free Shuttle is also dependable and convenient

I travelled with a large group and shortly after arrival we found bed bugs on several of the mattresses. When confronted staff denied what was being seen and stated they could not offer a refund because they did not have the authority to do so and it would have to be decided in the morning if that would be possible. This was not acceptable as we had to move 40+ young teenage girls to another hotel at which point it was late in the evening into the night with a flight less than 8 hours later and to incur the cost of another 18 rooms!
The hotel has since sent me an email stating they had pest control in to access the rooms today and found no evidence of bed bugs past or present. I do not believe this to be true as we seen it with our own eyes and have pictures as proof. The bed in my room had dead bed bugs which I also have pictures of. They are claiming it was textile fibres which it was most certainly NOT.
The conditions of the hotel are disgusting as we also experienced stained and blood covered bedding, toenail clippings and a very strong odour in one of the girls bathrooms. Some of the girls had bites on their legs and some of the bites looked similar to flea bites.
This is NOT a place to stay! Stay away from anything to do with this hotel. We are thankful that we were able to find other accommodations as this situation could have been so much worse for us.
We did not leave this hotel with 40+ teenage girls over nothing! Our concern/issue was valid!

It’s super convenient to stay at HFX. They have a huge parking lot where travellers can leave theirs car for up to 10 days with complementary parking. They also have shuttles to and from the airport. The staff are very welcoming and helpful.
Just keep in mind the hotel building is outdated and breakfast is simple.

The check in was great. We had a late check in, 2300, and the staff was great. The room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant was open until 100 am and we had time to grab a bite, a refreshment and watch some playoff hockey.
The breakfast was great as there were lots of options from toast and sausage and eggs to cereal and fruit.
Coffee was also good. Second time we have stayed here and I would highly recommend it.

When I checked in, after a long flight, there was only one girl on desk. There were several people in live ahead of me and even though the girl was excellent she couldn’t rush any faster. I was at lease 10 minutes standing there with my luggage before another lady came out of the office to help.

Parking is very easy. Hotel is older but clean. Continental breakfast could definitely be improved upon, was unfortunately minimal and not great. They do have breakfast items on their menu to order, but unfortunately there was no kitchen staff to prepare.
Their lunch and dinner menu has lots to choose from, large portions and very well done. All staff were very friendly. Overall an enjoyable stay, and will be back.

The carpet was ripped throughout the hotel and in our room, there were scuffs all over the walls, a bloody Qtip on the floor of our room and mold in the corners of the bathroom. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly and the shuttle service to the airport was great! Probably will not stay there again as I expected better at $160/ night

Was downstairs at 4h45am to make the 5h15am however, one came and left at 5h05am - FULL! The person at the desk said it was busy and so there would be another in 20 min however there was not one until 5h50am. Waited essentially outside for nearly one hour!

This hotel is a bit dated but is perfect for park and ride when flying. Room are big, the restaurant Hidden Gem has delicious food. The only negative feed back is the breakfast. I have stayed in the past and the breakfast was great but not this time it was sad. Would definitely use this hotel for future trips.

Be careful leaving your car there in their Lo y term parking. I left my car there for a week while I went on vacation and came back to discover my plate was stolen off my vehicle. I called the local police who advised that it’s a common occurrence at this hotel. Checked with the hotel staff the parking has no security nor do they have cameras.

The lobby was beautiful. The restaurant had good food but was disappointed. I paid $11 for a piece of frozen stale cake that we left in the room. But the most disappointing part was we chose this hotel because of the shuttle to the airport we went downstairs and got in line at 20 after three hoping to leave for four at 10 to 4. They said there was a delay so I tried to get an Uber and as my Uber was arriving, they notified the other people at 4:20 that the bus broke down they would have to find their own way to the airport. At this point, we’re already late.

This hotel is absolutely disgusting. Do. Not. Stay. Here. When I stayed the room was dirty, the beds are uncomfortable and literally squeak with every little movement. The air system is non existent. The heat pump/ac unit was the loudest and woke me up constantly. The window still was peeling off - THE WINDOW STILL!! - due to water leaks. The restaurant staff was very nice but the three of us that ate there thought the food was gross - dry fish, greasy food etc not to mention grotesquely over priced. The day after I checked out someone else from my community posted that staff broke into their room while they were sleeping. Not sure why Expedia has this hotel as an option. NOT SAFE!!!!

Breakfast menu is not as good as it used to be. Juices appear to be watered down a bit. Very basic.
Disappointed that channels available are not varied. For instance I watch Ian Hanomansing on cbc every night. Canadian channel was not on the tv. There were some cbc channels but not the national. My husband watches cnn and other us news channels. Not available anymore.

We always stay when we are flying out for vacation.
Free parking is included. Pick up and delivery to airport. Delivers you right to your car and unloads your baggage when returning.
Staff is always pleasant and helpful.
Food is delicious. Have a games room to play pool, VLT’s sitting area and tv.
The only thing is on busy early mornings should have two shuttles. It’s a long wait and rushed to get to the airport on time.
