An ideal hotel needs to be well-lit as well as feel fresh and welcoming in every aspect.

The property is old, carpet reeks stale, and premise feels suffocating. The premise including reception and staircase make you feel not go upstairs and just ask for a refund.

The room had yellow wallpaper and dull brown color thrown in the overall layout which felt old, depressing and unclean. Bedsheets had long hair still clinging on there, bathtub tap leaked, TV was a dummy, had a few channels running with no option to connect the cast phone screen and watch a show. The network option was disabled. The air conditioner was old, manual, noisy, and the carpet smelled funky. I had to spray some of my cologne in the room to feel better.

Breakfast was a joke - they served watery scrambled eggs, sausages not up to the taste, some bagels and bread with butter and jam, cereal felt stale, and some uncut whole fruits, mainly apples. I skipped breakfast as it seemed totally unappealing and made me lose my apetite. The dining area is small and congested, and feels too hot and humid, probably as it is beside the pool.

Staff seemed uninterested and stuck there to earn and pay their bills. I didn't see a single staff member share a smile with anybody for the entirety of my stay.

The only good thing was the room was comparatively cheaper than other places, still paid $200 for a night.

Booked last minute and didn’t realize was non refundable . From the moment pulled into parking lot knew I wouldn’t stay there . Building in run down neighborhood, parking lot and building from outside looks run down and unkept . Lobby so dark didn’t know where to go . Asked for refund and didn’t check in . Not worth $100 let alone the $160 I was charged . Lesson learned to do more research but after a 12 hour travel day and having stayed in other Comfort inns on this trip I thought it would be ok .

Our first room our light was flickering so my Electrician husband investigated. The outlet was pushed way in. He said this was not safe and requested to change rooms. The front desk didn’t seem concerned and said she would have Maintenance look at it tomorrow. Keys kept coming inactive- making it difficult to access back entry. Tv quality was horrible. Leak in kitchen area. Breakfast wasn’t much to choice. Windows are rusty— hotel needs upgrade.

The only thing great about this place is the pool, warm, clean and huge hit with the kids as it’s not too deep.
The room was basic and okay, streaks on the bed frame from it being wiped I assume. The shower had 0 pressure, and the shower head was attached to a bath spout…
There was no ceiling light in the room, the only light was a small bedside lamp.
The breakfast was mediocre…
The place looks like it got some upgrades, but was pretty disappointed.

I stayed for 4 nights, mainly because the price and location was right for my needs on a self funded business trip. The room and bed were "OK", decor is very dated, the TV is a updated Smart TV but needs a list of TV stations posted, the breakfast was OK-normal but not exceptional. The indoor pool looked inviting and clean just not on this stay for me. Construction in the parking lot made that a little inconvenient. One safety concern that I told the desk clerk about was the GCFI plug in the bathroom had become so loose that a plug falls right out.
This would not be my first choice on a return trip.

There was a huge sink hole in the back parking lot, the locked doors stayed opened all night because they don’t work. Why do they have key cards if the doors are not locked. Also, the security lock doesn’t work either. And the property looks very old compared to other hotels.

Great value, room fit our needs for a couple of days. Easy access to downtown, room was well kept, check in was easy, gave us ground floor room due to mobility issues. Breakfast room was well serviced, lots of food, opened for 3 hours each day. Pool was very large for a hotel this size. Easy access to car, parked outside our external door, made loading and unloading easy.

The pool and fitness centre were closed. We were not notifiedof the closure until out arrival.
Our key cards stopped working 3 times during our 4 night stay.
The room coffee is terrible.
Upon asking for the rooms to be turned over we were informed where we could fetch our own clean towels.
We left a bag of dirty towels out side the room door and it was not picked up for 2 days.
We will not return.

Check in young lady was great very nice and gave all information. Room was good, clean and the shower was wonderful! Just what I needed to end a long day. Breakfast was typical attendant was pleasant.
My problem was the hotel was no where near full, only maybe 5 cars around the building. My husband and I were traveling to the to family for Christmas and we decided to breakup our travel. (I had worked several weeks straight and had been up since 4:30am, my husband is still recovering from hip surgery. )We were just hoping for a nice nights sleep. We had only been in bed for 1/2 hr when in the room next door a kid kept yelling running and slamming doors we let it go for an hour thinking they’d calm down. After midnight we just didn’t want to hear it anymore. I will say the front desk attendant was fast responding coming to the room asking them to keep it down.
But is it normal to put people right beside when there are plenty of rooms. Also we were traveling with our lab who is very well behaved. But with a kid yelling next door he became very agitated we then had trouble getting him to calm after this. So what was to be a relaxing night before we went to celebrate our Christmas turned into only a few hours of restless sleep.

The entry doors to the building never worked to get in. Secondly, the heater never turned off running all night the room was cold otherwise. Lastly, the drain in the shower never drained until u were out of the shower and about 5 minutes after. Basically swimming in the water. Also, our bed was with crumbs. Breakfast was okay wish they have options for gluten free

Rooms were clean but obvious sigh of wear and tear but they are renovating so that is understandable. Food was decent and fresh, staff were beyond excellent. Kinda of what you expect at this type of hotel so no complaints. Bed was comfy but the pillows were very very sad. Great location and staff were fabulous with my dog

The room was just average, the parking around the property was terrible..under construction and difficult to park around most of the hotel.The breakfast was ok, a few things we're empty and not replenished garage bins were overflowing.. so it was difficult to clean your plates. I wouldn't stay there again.

There has been some improvements inside but its not great.

The staff was polite and helpful and the place was clean.

Our beds were very comfortable and we could park right outside our patio doors but could not lock the doors from outside so had leave through the lobby anyway and then walk around the building.

While to room has been updated, the hotel itself is little to be desired. The building is old and is not being taken care of well. The stairwell and hallways smell and the 1 backdoor to the building was broken so always left open. The parking lot around the building was dark and full of potholes. The breakfast was good, but the staff member in charge of the area was not friendly & made me feel bad for being there. Like we were inconveniencing her by having breakfast. This hotel is overcharging for the condition of the building. I would not stay here again

Good location. Photos are outdated. The whole place is old. My bathroom tap constantly leaking. Aircon not very cold. Room as clean as it can be. Staffs are friendly except one that was managing the breakfast on my first day. Only went once for breakfast. Very limited choices. Didn’t dare to try the eggs as there were green stuffs on it like mould or something. Some sausages that’s grey colour. Next day took a look and this time fried eggs look normal but skipped and went straight to Tim Hortons. Overall very average.

As I was dealing with the price on Expedia and at the hotel for price matching. They were going to match it but then I had reward point from our original stay I wanted to use it. As I was booking it the price changed increasing another $30. It was a long day so at this point I didn’t feel like dealing with it and just used my points I received from previous issue.
