We absolutely loved the hotel. The staff was very very very helpful and friendly. The property and the pool are beautiful. I only have 2 suggestions though. Maybe a mirror by the front entrance. It is hard to see cars coming when you are trying to get out. The other suggestion is for the nights you have parties on the property. I personally didn't have a problem with the large huge music that played all night until 2 am. But I can see others being upset with how loud and how late the loud music played especially if they were maybe having to wake up at 5 am to catch a flight or something. I think maybe in the future you let your guests know about the loud music party and hand out ear plugs. But one again I want to say that the staff was so amazing and helpful, especially the 2 men that were at the front desk. Also a special thanks to the restaurant staff. My mother is vegan and sometimes this is a challenge while traveling. Even though they did not have vegan options on the menu, the chef went out of his way to prepare several vegan dishes for her. They were wonderful and we appreciate this so much. Thank you all for everything tha you do

Bari surprise delight

The hotel is a wonderful old Wille on huge grounds with a vast swimming pool, which we loved. Michael at the Bar and restaurant was excellent, as was the dinner and reasonably priced. We had room nine with very high ceilings, and the only little negatives were that the television had just one channel and the bathtub shower is very very narrow, especially for two athletic men. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone going to Bari.

The hotel was gorgeous. It is a bit out of the way from the historic center but that is exactly what we wanted. we had an early flight and needed something closer to the airport that had parking and dining. The restaurant was great. The grounds and the pool were pristine.

Lovely traditional building and room was very spacious with high ceilings and a comfy bed. Only stayed one night after a late flight into Bari so didn't get chance to see much of the hotel. Good breakfast in nice surroundings. On outskirts of Bari so would need a car if visiting the city.

The staff was very accommodating, gave us first floor no steps since we were handicapped. We had to get up early for a 6:30 AM flight, dinner only started at 7:30 which was too late for us so they made us sandwich’s and fruit at 6:00. The staff came on time to bring our luggage to the van that took us to the airport, no stress it was wonderful

Absolutely beautiful.
Room: I stayed in room 16- the last room outside. This room was right next to the pool, had a beautiful private patio and. the bed was comfortable. The shower curtain was a little dirty and had a faint mold smell-- but it was also August in Italy..

Grounds: the hotel and grounds are very well maintained.

Amenities: breakfast was delish! The pool was beautiful, you do have to wear a swim cap while in the water. Poolside food/ drink available for additional fee (s).

Location: very quiet and out of the hustle and bustle of bari. Parking was easy and on the property.

Property was conveniently located to highway travel.
There was very little outdoor lighting at night, hard to see steps, gate situation was a pain getting in and out! Felt like a prison. No convenient electrical outlets.
Couldn’t get heat very warm. Plumbing was not great. Staff we’re not very friendly and not at all helpful. Staff were noisy at night and early in the morning.
The building and grounds were beautiful, and the breakfast was good once we figured out how to order on our phones, but I would not recommend this property. I would not stay here again.

It’s a beautiful property. Feels like old world,with a beautiful pool. There was a nice breakfast in the atrium.

Have to use an app to order breakfast !!!!

Generally the smallish Hotel was good. But what completely spoilt it as a b&b was having to order the breakfast via an app!! With dodgy Wifi in my experience. Life is stressful enough without apps for breakfast! The poor waiter spent half his time sorting people’s phones out! No phone, therefore unable to order??? Need an extra slice of dry bread? Do it via the app! Ridiculous and just a bit laughable. Even the Italians there were laughing at it. Sorry but we will not be back…..

This is not a luxury hotel or 4-star Hotel as advertised. Despite being tucked right next to the Motorway, the house and the compound itself is quite nice and has potential. However the service, upkeep and cleanliness of the whole place needs improving. The rooms and bathrooms are dark, old, the bed and linen were old and uncomfortable. Staff can barely speak English and communication was exhausting, as it led to a lot of misunderstanding. Breakfast was also very limited. Dining in general is extremely limited.

Gorgeous historical building in industrial area

There is no restaurant and the food they can offer is extremely basic....a blonde toastie which I would do a million times better. It is easy to have some basic food options even on the minimal staff they are operating on. On the plus side the pool we thought and the garden was epic but my partner was eat alive by mosquitos on the beautiful balconies so be wary

The hotel and rooms were excellent, as was the service but the pool was dirty and needed cleaning - there was green slime growing on the walls and base of the pool and the outside tables had not been cleaned for weeks. The grass areas around the pool were neglected and the grass clearly had not been cut for weeks and was 200mm high.

The staff except one exception or two (breakfast waiter on the first day was accommodating. The second day worker was not much help: I was able to get fried eggs the first day but not the second day) The air conditioner did not cool the room. When they got it to work on the second night it was only a fan. We could not get much sleep on the first night since the room was too warm, Opening the window attracts bugs and mosquitoes. When we asked the first day for the front desk to activate the A/C, the manager had a very bad attitude and even implied that we pressed the wrong button. Very disrespectful and not accommodating. It seems they use a very complicated software to activate the A/C, and they take the liberty to shut it down when they want to. However, the lobby A/C works fine.
Parking was convenient, but finding the property can be challenging the first time.

Wonderful boutique hotel. A bit hard to find, but worth it. Exclusive, only about 15 rooms. Quiet. Most comfortable bed we have had in Italy. Great breakfast buffet in a very nice restaurant area. Unfortunately arrived too late for dinner. Lovely pool. Wish we had more than one night!

A noble Hotel

The hotel was quite despite the closeness to the motorway, which made the location very convenient for out of town trips without sacrificing confort and view.

Nice hotel, very quiet

We had a very comfortable stay and our room was very nice. We enjoyed the private balcony outside. The pool was out of order while we were there, but it looked quite inviting. The area is a little challenging to get to without a car, but we had family come pick us up and it's pretty quick to get to downtown Bari. The breakfast was fresh and very tasty. My husband and I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, refreshing place close to Bari.

Think Twice - seasonal means seasonal!

Hotel restaurant closed Saturday and Sunday and the Friday of our stay, reception Kindly ordered a pizza delivery to satisfy our hunger after travelling before check-in.

Spa Closed!
Indoor pool closed! (the platform page for this hotel indicated renovation works early January to early February, 2nd - still closed on 10th - 17th!!)

Despite low number of guests - no cushions were put out to encourage use of terrace as the weather was kind to us,

Not all rooms have a jet bath as advertised, deluxe room 1 certainly doesn't!

You definitely need a car to be staying at this hotel!

Had to request information from reception on local area, nothing provided in the rooms.

A beauty outside a city

I thought being in paradise with all those beautiful Mediterranean surroundings.
There are also fruit trees all around like figs ,lemons, pomegranates, oranges, almonds
and lots of olive trees. The fresh morning air due of the laurel trees is something to
experience. Everything was different and pleasant in different hours of the day.
For me the tangenziale was a blessing and is only couple blocks away.
This road is special because you bypass the city and gives the opportunity the explore
all of Puglia and small pretty towns all around beside Bari.
The swimming pool was well kept and I used it every afternoon.
Did not try other facilities.
The morning breakfast is modest but good and every day Angelo make specials espresso for me.
Grazie Angelo per il tuo impegno.
If I go back and this time with my wife, terranobile will be my number one choice.
Grazie Piero, Angelo, Teresa, Niccolò e Federico.....siete speciali e spero d'incontrarvi di nuovo.

The room was damp, smelled musky and was dark. We were not in the main building, maybe that would have been better. This hotel is way out of town so if you don't have a car it would not be good. Check in was good and the dinning was nice and our waiter(Nicola) was friendly and gave good service.

We spent two nights at the hotel. The staff are very attentive and helpful. The restaurant is beautiful and the food and service was amazing. We especially enjoyed the swimming pool and patio. It is surrounded by lush trees and is truly an oasis in the middle of a bustling city.

Lovely hotel in not so lovely immediate vicinity.

Hotel facilities good, menu, wine list very,very limited. 2-3 wines or red/white to choose from.
Pool is main attraction, but unfortunately alot of locals pay to use it and there is a constant pumping of Italian housemusic at the pool side. Also not so well behaved kids.
On Sunday evening there was a party in the restaurant ( underneath the bedrooms) and the music didn't finish until after 1am- keeping us awake.
On the plus side the hotel is a lovely building, in lovely grounds, 15 mins from the airport and right next to the SS16 which is good for getting up and down the coast.
If you want a relaxing break in a 3 star hotel choose this one if you don't mind the various intrusions. The hotel needs to decide where its market is- events or individual travellers. At the moment it's more geared to the former.

Lovely Hotel- ideal for a few days

Very clean - staff were very friendly and helpful. Ideal for airport and a base for sightseeing (old town Bari, Alborabello etc will definitely go again. Mum and I enjoyed a few days by pool. Mostly Italian, some visiting just for the day. Pool bar and snacks all good. Lovely setting for weddings or special anniversaries. Jean and lesley (mum and daughter)

We stayed only one night. As other respondents have said, the hotel is difficult to find, especially at night. Our bedroom was in a separate block at the back of the main building. The room was OK and had its own little patio. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is out of town some way and there appears to be no public transport. Taxi to town centre is aprox. €15. There are no shops cafes or restaurants in the immediate area. Breakfast was an OK Italian breakfast in the nice conservatory. The swimming pool was unheated and cold.

Amazing Hotel -Great for Bari Air Flights

Amazing property, grounds, pool and very good food. If you can, stay and enjoy a quiet time at very good rates. Sadly, a business/industry area has grown around this original villa. That said, their property is like an oasis. Pampered by the pool and beatiful surroundings for our last night in Italy, prior to our flight out of Bari.

Hotel with a nice pool and friendly staff

Although we used our TomTom GPS, the hotel is slightly hidden and cannot easily seen from the street. A friendly local Italien kindly kindly showed us the way. We arrived late in the season and not many guests were there, so you feel quite lonely in the restaurant. That being said, the food was of good quality and delicious and the menu changed daily. The wine list is not very elaborate but very good and reasonable wines. In general the staff is very friendly and makes you feeling welcomed. The reception is very friendly and do speak English. The pool is great and drinks and towels are provided. All in all a nice experience. if you want to venture into town, it is best to take a taxi as parking in Bari can be tricky.

Beautiful villa with nice rooms. I slept in one of the largest room in the main villa and really enjoyed the comfort. The breakfast was excellent. The gate of access to the property is on a dangerous road and not easy to find.

I have tried hard to like this hotel. This was our second visit. It is a good concept. A large heritage mansion with amenities. Warm welcome, helpful staff, a fairly good restaurant. However, the location is abysmal. It is extremely difficult to find, with poor signage. It is not what one would categorize as an \"airport hotel\". The building and grounds lack proper maintenance. Forget using the hotel bikes or walking about. The neighbourhood is uninviting. Other restaurants are distant.

A mansion built in 1898, with large rooms, modern fixtures, a large conservatory and very good restaurant.
Located off the freeway, it is very difficult to find. The hotel is quite a long way from the airport. The hotel should provide instructions on how to get there, especially for those without GPS.

overnight stop off in Bari

Fairly easy access from airport in hire car, although central barrier means only accessible from one direction, and sign is easy to miss in the dark. Once through the locked gate it was lovely- very pleasant, helpful staff. Although the evening receptionist spoke no English, he did give us directions to a very reasonable locals restaurant 10 mins away. As we were very late to bed, they extended a light breakfast for us- don't know what the full breakfast was like, but ours was very nice.

Smart hotel if you can find it!

a pretty villa with impressive gardens including lemon trees and olives, and lovely-looking swimming pool, spa facilities available, parking in grounds. Large bedroom, very clean, some traffic noise but not much considering how close hotel is to major road. Breakfast adequate, staff very polite. BUT difficult to find if arriving from Bari airport for first time, despite printing out Google map before arriving, I could not find it, and had to stop at petrol station, where a charming local drove in front of me and delivered me to the door! Later that evening, drove into town, with instructions from receptionist, to try and have dinner. Parking is horrendous in centre, could not find anywhere to park in the port, parked illegally for few minutes and then spent an hour trying to get back to hotel ... should have taken 20 mins! Now I know where it is, could find it, but for first time to Bari travellers it can be difficult!

Beautiful but not for pedestrians

The resort is lovely and the grounds are beautiful. Unfortunately, it's not a good choice if you have no car. Walking to the bus stop (if you can find it) to visit central Bari is very dangerous, I was almost obliterated by some idiot driver skidding out of control. My mistake, I should have realized how far away from la città vecchia the resort was located. However the staff were wonderful, so I would recommend Terranobile highly -- if you want to drive there.

Isolated from city; restaurant was not open

We were disappointed with Terranobile Metaresort. The place has a lot of potential and the staff was friendly (though I don't know Italian and it was difficult for them to understand much English). However, the restaurant was not open during our 3-night stay, and there are no restaurants within safe walking distance--this means you need to take a taxi to the city (or nearby restaurants) which will cost between 12-20 euros. Breakfast was available in the morning, though. Terranobile has a nice pool area, but it was not clean--we sat by the pool but did not get in. The shower was uncomfortable because in our room (#11) the shower curtain rod kept sticking to us while we showered. The room was very dark and quiet, so that's a good thing.

Excellent holiday!

A beautiful hotel set in its own compound with free parking and entry gate. Lovely food in the restaurant and good service. The rooms are clean, and well decorated. The hotel has lovely grounds and a swimming pool. The staff were very helpful although their English was not fluent and they didn't seem to know the local area very well - how to get to different restaurants or local bus services for example.
It is set along a duel carriageway and if you want a night out and don't want to drive it can make life very difficult. The nearest restaurants and bars are about a fifteen minute walk away. You have to walk along the edge of the duel carriageway, down two alley ways and then cross a motorway!!!! (at least this was the only area that we found during our seven days there!!!!! However this did lead us to bars, restaurants and a couple of supermarkets.
Very easy to get to and from the airport and get onto the motorway to head to other areas.
We would stay there again and had a great time.

Wow, what a beautiful hotel in an unexpected area. This property is set in an old villa surrounded by magnificent gardens, a true delight for the senses. Unfortunately I only stayed one night before flying out early the next morning. Room was very cozy and comfortable; very clean. Do not let the location throw you off, it is like an island of beauty... Excellent value for the price.

Absolutely gorgeous, private, impeccable service, lush garden, dream pool area and fabulous food!!!

This is a fabulous hotel, very chic and the service is impeccable. The size of the room is huge compared to what you get elsewhere in Europe/Italy. I would definitely recommend this gorgeous boutique hotel to anyone who wants to enjoy the peace and quiet of a beautiful hotel set in a lish garden with a dream pool area! There are only about 15 rooms in the hotel, and that's a bonus in noisy Italy!

The staff also spoke perfect English and French which was a bonus!

Gutes Frühstück, Zimmer ok, Badezimmer doch etwas arg schimmlig. Die vielen Stufen im Zimmer sind gerade im Dunkeln eine Herausforderung. Anbibdung an öffentlichen Nahverkehr praktisch nicht vorhanden. Hotel liegt direkt zwischen Autobahn und Bahnstrecke.

Bel établissement qui regorge de surprises, terrasses au 1er étage, belle et grande piscine, bains à remous,belle véranda pour pdj et diner,
Mais sb vieillotte, baignoire avec rideau, peu de place pour mettre la gde valise.
Manque d'ambiance, musique,meubles salon extérieur à changer, service insuffisant.
Attention ne pas se présenter avant 14h car portail fermé. Par contre on a pu faire un last check-out à 19h, ce qui nous a permis de passer l'après-midi à la piscine.
En conclusion : belle batisse, beaux extérieurs mais vit sur le passé. Il faudrait la volonté de dynamiser le personnel et changer certains mobiliers en mauvais état , nettoyer la piscine et anticiper les besoins des clients.
Enfin. L'hôtel, havre de paix est à 13' du centre

No lo consideramos un hotel 4 estrellas. El personal de recepción no es agradable no te dan ninguna información no tienen espíritu de servicio. Sin embargo los mozos de Restaurant son serviciales y de excelente trato así como también el personal de limpieza. La bañera tiene duchador de mano solamente porq es
Imposible colocarlo para ducha común. La bañera es grande y peligrosa. En gral falta mantenimiento. Son Lindos los jardines y olivares.

Bel hotel ma parte amministrativa da rivedere

Soggiorno breve per la lavoro. Abbastsnza fastidiosa la procedura di pre ceck-in: l'hotel invia una e-mail 3 / 4 giorni prima chiedendo tutti i dati anagrafici e numero documento. So che è un obbligo di legge ma la procedura è stata sempre realizzata dal personale dell\"hotel una volta che si arriva in struttura. Bella la camera, anche se un po' anonima. Bello il bagno . Ottima la colazione.

Dommage la soirée \"disco\"

Très bel hôtel, pas facile à trouver.
Souci il y avait une soirée \"disco\" le samedi soir de notre séjour musique boite de nuit jusque près de 2h00 du matin.
Si nous en avions été informé nous aurions réservé ailleurs.

Ontbijt is was top. De bediening heel snel en super aardige man.
Wat minder goed is dat je om na het uitchecken geen gebruik meer mag maken van het zwembad. 11 uur uitchecken en moesten om 13:00 op de airport zijn. 1,5 uur gebruik maken van het zwembad alleen mogelijk tegen betaling.

Pas d'indications afin de retrouver l'hôtel.
Nous avons faire au moins 3 a 4 fois avant de retrouver l'hôtel.
Réceptionniste pas du tout aimable.
On a l'impression qu'il est la contre son gré. Ne répond pas au salutation ( lors de notre arrivée, lorsqu'on sortais et qu'on disait bonjour et même pour le départ).
le cadre de l'hôtel est agréable, très calme, mais au vie de l'accueil, on se sens pas très bien et ça donne pas forcément envie de revenir.
Dommage.

Je déconseille fortement.
Les chambres sont vieilles et mal équipées. Une toute petite télé des années 2000, un vieux matelas où on sent les ressorts, pas de housses de couette ni de couette mais un drap simple avec un simili plaid taché. Sur 5 nuits, il y a eu deux réceptions/pool party où nous n’avons pas le droit d’aller car elles sont privées, avec le son extrêmement fort juste à côté de la chambre jusqu’à 2h du matin. Chambres non insonorisés.
Certains jours les transats de piscines sont réservés aux personnes extérieures à l’hôtel qui ne viennent que pour la piscine, mais malgré des places inoccupées, ils ont refusé qu’on les prenne. Petit déjeuner très décevant, pas de restaurant le midi si ce n’est des snacks en bord de piscine. Situé sur une voie rapide sans trottoir et sans bus à proximité, il faut soit une voiture soit prendre le taxi pour aller dans le centre, 30€ l’aller retour.
La piscine est fermée à partir de 18h…c’est assez peu sympathique surtout en plein mois de juillet.
Le soit disant spa est une vaste blague : simple bain à remous et sauna,à 70€/heure aucune autre prestation.
Mais sinon l’équipe de ménage fait bien son travail, la petite terrasse est très appréciable et la piscine est très bien pensé.

Le personnel surtout du front desk n’est pas particulièrement accueillant ou chaleureux.

Il semblerait que quelques chambres soient rénovées dans la belle bâtisse principale mais les autres ne valent pas du tout 4*. Hôtel 2* plutôt.

Établissement moyen, les équipements sont anciens, il n’y a même pas une bouilloire dans la chambre… des soirées avec DJ sont organisées donc très bruyant… on nous a donné une serviette de piscine par personne pour les 7 jours de notre séjour pour les adultes uniquement car les enfants n’y ont pas le droit alors que nous avons pourtant payé pour notre enfant… Le personnel est agréable.
