Posh hotel with amazing breakfast and vibes

Amazing hotel with spectacular pool view. Good location. Wonderful breakfast with lots of varieties especially the menu offering Greek Benedict and omelette.

Front desk service is generally good. A note to improve is to assign bell boy to help guests with lots of baggages to board golf cart as they have to manage not spilling over the nice welcoming drink :-)

Loved the lay out of the hotel especially the rooms leading straight out onto the pool. A small hotel which suited us for a few days stay.

The restaurant staff were exceptional. I have a dietary intolerance and they went out of their way to make sure I knew what was safe to eat. They were always smiling and friendly.

The only downside which wasn’t clear on the website is that the beach is on the other side of the road.

The property is gorgeous.....but the staff were EXTREMELY rude!! They harrassed us about how many people we had staying in our room, checking pur passport numbers before check-in and at check out. We were harassed several times by the front desk staff about how many people we had staying in our room (we had 2, which is what was what was reserved). Specifically IVAN at the front desk was completely inappropriate with us, treating us horribly.
Then the check out time apparently changed from noon to 11am. And we were told about this at 11am on day of check out!!! They called the room to tell us we had to check out right then!! Never was told at check in about an update in checkout time, their website states noon is check out time and my reservation stated noon as check out time.
Over all horrible experience and will never return To this hotel. We were simple guests that werent loud and didnt deserve the poor customer service and harassment we received!!!! Not to mention paying for the most expensive room the property had to offer.

Better out than inside

The Hotel is very beautiful, the view is amazing, but inside the Room, the Air Conditioning was very noisy, ( No balance for the room size), and when you like to set the Quiet mode for sleeping, the set can not keep the temperature and or you feel hot or you can sleep due to the noisy machine.
The food is below the average for this category of Hotels, and you have to pay as an extra for the water, or for the Natural Orange juice. The environment is very clean, but the pools smells a lot of chlorine. But in the other hand, the people is very kind at all times.

The 'sparkling' Diamond!

I stayed at the Diamond for 6 days as my daughter was getting married in Kos. There was not a thing I could criticise! All of the staff were attentive, polite and hardworking. I was late arriving as I'd got lost, but although it was after midnight I got a lovely welcome from the older man who is sometimes on reception. I was taken to my room by Leon, who is a delightful young man and works so very hard to make everything perfect for guests. I saw him every day and he always asked if everything was alright. The breakfast waiters were equally kind and attentive with perfect manners.
The room was immaculate with luxurious bed-linen and the view from the terrace was amazing.
The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Thank you to all of the staff there.

Other than the poor wifi (worked most of the time but was very very very slow) everything was amazing!! Staff was extremely nice, perfect location (10 min bus ride to kos town), awesome rooms, great breakfast, and overall we had the perfect relaxing vacation we wanted!!
Highly recommended for all the couples who just want to relax! The adults only policy is great too!
Our Pool frontal room made the stay much better so it worth adding a little and get one of those!

Perfect setting to relax and switch off.
Good was ok-to-average.
Rooms were gorgeous.
The grounds are simple and stunningly modern.
The staff are great- particularly the bar staff Dimitris and Asta, really made for some pleasant evenings and fab cocktails!
The spa was nice, a little underwhelming but the treatments were lovely (particularly by Sofie and her wonder thumbs).
It's a bit of a hike to town and the island is not as pretty as some Greek Islands, but if chilling out, unwinding and refreshing dips in a chilly pool is your thing, then it's great.
Excellent value for out of season.

Relaxing hotel with amazing pool

We stayed at the Diamond Deluxe for 3 nights with our 3 kids. We had booked 2 Standard Rooms and they were a great size and bathrooms very comfortable as well. Fantastic, very large outdoor pool - the kids loved it. Beach nice. Food could be improved. Wifi signal very weak and only near pool bar.

We were impressed with the hotel and facilities staff really friendly however, after paying for five star we expected free tea and coffee facilities and entry into the gym but when we arrived there was no tea and coffee in the rooms and we're told we had to pay extra for these also their was a five euro fee to enter the gym also spa bath in room was broken tear in curtain in room. Despite above we enjoyed the hotel.

We had to wait at reception for 20 minutes as although we had paid Hotels.com in advance the Hotel had no knowledge of us. The manager says it happens a lot so be warned ! Nice hotel, good food at the bar. Taxi to town is 9 Euros or it is a 50 minute walk, which is very pleasant.

Little taste of luxury

My partner and I enjoyed a relaxing stay at the Diamond Deluxe Hotel in Kos in April. We felt truly welcome at the hotel and our stay was made memorable due to the high standard of service from all staff, in particular, Dimitris and Asta. The hotel room we stayed in was extremely comfortable and luxurious! We enjoyed having a PC within the room with free wireless internet access, allowing us to plan our adventure on the island with ease. The breakfast buffet was great with plenty of choice. The hotel is situated a 50 minute walk or 20 minute cycle from Kos Town, which has plenty of bars, restaurants and historical sites to explore. The beach is located across the road from the hotel and boasts spectacular views across the water to other islands and Turkey (only 4.4km away).

The hotel had just opened, the staff were professional and helpful, with time they will be exceptional.
The bar was extremely friendly.
There were no problems with food, the breakfast catered for all tastes, the evening meal was very good, 20Euro per head for three courses.
The hotel had very good pools, and access to the beach was immediate.
The only problem we had was buses back from KOS, they didn't,t run, but this could have been down to the season not having kicked off.
For those of a healthy nature the Hotel Spa facilities appeared to be great.
There was also access to cycle,car hire and excursions from reception.
We used this break solely to \"chill\" and well chilled we were.

The staff in this hotel are exceptional, always helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel is beautiful and very clean it would be difficult to find fault. It is set a little out of the way but we enjoyed the 45-55 main walk to Kos, there is a bus which stops right outside the hotel and only takes 5-10 mins.

Apart from the unexpected baggage fee that was not stated by Expedia on the site anywhere and not given the option during the payment process to chose the baggage option, the overall holiday to kos and staying at ddh was EXCELLENT!

Couldn't have stayed at a better hotel. The hotel staff were super and took great care of us. Such warm, welcoming and helpful - always.

From the day we arrived to the day we checked out, the stay at the hotel was comfortable, hassle free and a joy. We totally recommend this hotel to all, families, couples and friends. Whatever the occasion, this ddh is perfect for everyone.

Can't wait to go back.

Good hotel, but a little remote

Enjoyed our stay very much. The food was excellent (we were half board), the room and general decor were good, but not really 5 star in my opinion - the white and gold just looked dated and not pristine. There's a nice little bit of beach opposite with hotel sun beds, and the hotel pools are vast so no lack of swimming.
My only real gripe was the advertised 'free high speed internet' was difficult to connect via wi-fi and when you did connect (or via the PC in our room) was anything but high speed - painfully slow is nearer the mark.
We had a hire car, so weren't worried by the location, but the hotel is situated out of town which might be an issue if you don't have transport.
But those are two minor points - the important part was that we had a really good time.

Great hotel for relaxing

Overall a very good hotel and just about as good as it gets with holiday hotels in Europe. The only disappointment was the food which was pretty average. Plenty of it and lots of choice so easy for the kids but just not very good. To be fair, its quite hard to find good restaurants on Kos. There are one or two but you have to search hard and Tripadvisor is unlikely to list them.
Great staff, wonderful pool, nice rooms. We had a great holiday except for the food. Drinks are pretty expensive too with a small bottle of local beer costing 5 euros and a double espresso 4 euros for example.

Perfect for couples.

Lovely hotel beautifully situated to watch the sun set each evening.It was perfect for us as there were not many children running around screaming thus our days by the pool or on the private beach were spent as we wanted, in peace. The food was excellent in the main restaurant with a good variety of dishes and very friendly helpful staff. It is only 15 minutes on the bus into Kos town which has lots going on in the way of restaurants, bars and shops if you fancy a day/night out.

Great hotel to chill and relax.

This hotel is lovely, it's a peaceful holiday and away from Kos Town. The pools are fantastic, we were lucky enough to have a diamond suite with our own private small pool plus view to sea. The staff were very helpful and always friendly. The food was superb, with a great choice and a couple of themed nights. We were three girls just looking to relax but we hired bikes and went on a boat trip and horse riding on the beach, so there is plenty of things to do. I would recommend this hotel.

A relaxing hotel and a warm welcome

Visiting the Diamond Deluxe Hotel is a relaxing experience. The staff are polite and welcoming.
The room (superior) was clean and spacious for our family of 3. The housekeeping team did a really great job of cleaning the room around us as we came and went throughout the day.
The restaurant was well managed with a great range of food available for every meal. There was a good mixture of international dishes. There is an Italian restaurant on site which is open in the evenings but we did not try it as this was not included in our food package.
The pool area was the main selling point of the hotel with a number of different pools for each of our needs. The grounds and pool teams kept the area clean and tidy at all times. Safety is a key concern as we have a lively toddler and we did have to keep a keen eye out at all times as there are shallow pools around the bar areas and some of the walk ways are glass which was tricky for our little girl when they got wet in the April rain.
The hotel was a 50-60 minute walk away from the centre of Kos Town which was challenging with a toddler but there is a fairly regular bus service and taxis were easily available from the taxi ranks in town.

Very relaxing peaceful location and helpful staff

Stayed for first week of the 2013 season in early April. The staff were extremely pleasant and welcoming at all times and were very prompt and efficient. Our room was a very high standard with a very comfortable bed, choice of pillows and daily maid service with changes of sheets and towels. Fantastic place for a get away from it all holiday. Food in the restaurant was very tasty and a wide variety always available. Would recommend hiring cycles as there are good cycle paths all the way into Kos town and it is nice and flat for easy cycling. Otherwise quite a long but pleasant walk into the town. Buses also run but are a bit sparse so early in the season, and also many shops and tavernas are not yet set up for the season, so if you want to get out and about would suggest going a bit later on in May. Would definitely return to same hotel again.

Great location, only a couple of miles from Kos town. Staff went out of their way to be helpful. Wonderful pools & sun loungers....with space! Masses of choice with dining. Take a taxi to Zia one evening & walk upto the Church, very pretty....then have dinner at The Sunset Taverna to watch the sunset....beautiful! Wish we had the time to have stayed at the Hotel longer.

Best of both worlds

Excellent quality hotel, feeling of spaciousness and and calm. Quite far out of town but no problem once you hire a bike, we thoroughly enjoyed the gentle 15 min cycle into town every night. Even the basic double was very high quality with a large comfortable bed and some thoughtful extras. Didn't eat at the hotel for dinner so can't comment on the evening food quality but the breakfast was excellent. Best of both words - secluded yet with Kos town nearby for entertainment and cultural spots. Definitely worth researching some of the better quality restaurants away from the tourist trail on the harbour front.

An excellent hotel. Fantastic interior design, brilliant location. Superb staff, happy to help at any time on any matter. A wide variety of food at breakfast and for the evening meal. Excellent swimming pools.

I would recommend hiring bikes - a great way to explore Kos. Also I would recommend a visit to the natural hot springs - wondrous.

When I passed by other hotels I felt really pleased that I had chosen The Diamond Duluxe.

Awesome Hotel!

Friendly staff. All were very polite and helpful. Everyone smiled at us. The breakfast and dinner was awesome. So much to select from - seafood, meat, salad, dessert, ice cream - it was excellent! The restaurant staff were very friendly. Most don't speak good English but they do their best.

First of all, the restaurant and reception staff was exceptional and really \"make the difference\". Also, the food was great, especially the 5 course menus for dinner.
Unfortunately, the hotel is lacking maintenaince and renovation. For example, mold between all tiles in the pool, broken tiles in the pool and outdoor shower area etc. Our room was also not what we expected. The bathroom was new but the room itself had a dirty bed frame and couch. Also the cover of the chair in the corner was broken. In general were all furniture in a bad shape. Our room was also not properly cleaned. They tried to fix most of the mentioned points as we complained. But the most disapointing part was the beach. The way to the beach (across a street) and the beach itself was full of trash. It was not cleaned regulatory and does not invite to linger.
Overall, we were not satisfied with the hotel, except of the staff and food.

Nice hotel, but it is no more a new hotel. The outdoor area is fantastic. Room was cleaned nicely every day, but did show some history of use, but it was a nice room. The bed in our room was simply put dreadful(it was round and they could not provide extra supportmatress that fit the bed, so I slept poorly for 10 days). We got what we ordered, but staff seemed somewhat inexperienced, they did not do amfollowup on our issues. And I’m no fan of chasing service or chasing sunbeds when you are at a 5star hotell.
Loved our stay, but it had some shortcomings.
The private beach is great, some noice from the road beside the hotel and you need to take a bus or rent a bike to get to other restaurants than the hotels.
Would recommend the hotel, but 5 star with premium pricing, really?

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool

Der Service, sowohl im Zimmer als auch im Poolbereich ist hervorragend. Besonders möchten wir Frau Gorginia loben, die Abends immer den Zimmerbereich totol schöne nachtfertig gemacht hat.
Weiterhin ist die Sauberkeit zu loben. Von früh morgens bis spät abends wurde gefegt, gewischt.
Frühstück absolut zu empfehlen!!!

Tyylikäs ja loistava hotelli. Aamupala loistava! Kokki paistaa munakkaan tms. toivomuksesi mukaan. Iltaisin on monipuolinen buffet. Ravintolan hintataso on ihan ok, lounas maksaa noin 9-16e ja illallisbuffet 30e. SPA-kylpylän hoidot melko hintavia. Keskustaan on 3 km.
Hotelli sijaitsee keskellä ei mitään, mutta on rannalla. Se sopii niille, jotka tarvitsevat rauhallisuutta ja leopa sekä rentoutumista.

En ole koskaan aiemmin käynyt näin suuressa uima-altaassa uimassa. Tilaa riittää hyvin kaikille eikä tarvitse varoa muita.

מצאנו את המלון נוח,בעל שירות טוב,התמקמנו בחדרים מצוינים הפונים לבריכה וסמוכים אחד לשני .האוכל טוב ,בערב קצת פחות.הברמן ופקידת הקבלה והמארחת של חדר האוכל היו מאוד דקותיים ומכניסי אורחים.המלון מתוחזק אך יש מקום לשיפור למשל מזרקות הבריכה הפנימית שלא עבדו.ממוקם מצוין כ 3 קמ מהעיר,מאוד נהנינו מהשכרת האופניים.מגרש האניס סביר,כדורים ומחבטים חבוטים משהו.הבריכות מעולות,שווה בהחלט אין ילדים!!!

Bellissimo albergo a soli 5 minuti da Kos city.Piscina fantastica,ambiente gradevolissimo.Una particolare menzione allo staff dell' Hotel e soprattutto ai ragazzi del bar Markos e Emylos, gentilissimi e molto professionali e simpatici.

Hit vill vi absolut resa tillbaka!

Vi har aldrig varit så nöjda med en hotellbokning förr. Allt som bilderna lovade stämde med råge. Vi hade beställt ett rum som kallades Front of pool, vilket varmt kan rekommenderas. Det innebar att vi hade egna solstolar, parasoll och pool rakt utanför vår altandörr. Underbart! Poolområdet smart uppbyggt så att det känns som att man får en egen del av poolen och slipper ligga och trängas. Vi är vana resenärer men detta hotell överträffade alla förväntningar. Vi var här andra veckan i oktober och vädret var fint alla dagar utom en som var halvklar. Vi hade hyrt cyklar genom hotellet, prisvärt och bra, och cyklade enkelt och bekvämt mellan hotellet och Kos stad nästan varje dag. Ett solklart 5-stjärnigt hotell. Återigen: maten tillreddes med kärlek och fina råvaror vare sig man åt i baren, ordinarie matsalen eller finrestaurangen och servicen var rakt igenom fantastisk!

Dall'accoglienza al giorno della partenza , struttura, personale, cibo , tutto stupendo. Confort da vero 5 stelle. Il personale delle pulizie eccellenti , cortesi e mai invadenti. Piscine fantastiche con tutti i confort . Insomma una struttura veramente bella ed accogliente. Consigliata.

Sfortunatamente la nostra camera,standard, non è stata all altezza delllo standard dell hotel perché situata al piano terra -seminterrato molto umida e maleodorante, un vero peccato.

Un isola \"di Relax\" in un Isola ( Kos )

Con mia moglie è la seconda volta che andiamo a Kos. La scelta di andare al Diamond Deluxe Hotel era stata dettata non tanto dalle stelle o dalle buone recensioni degli ospiti , quanto dal fatto che la pubblicità lo dava come \"sconsigliato\" per famiglie con Bambini e \"consigliato\", per chi volesse rilassarsi in tutta tranquillità in un ambiente discreto e non popolatissimo ( la precedente esperienza a Kos era stata fatta in un villaggio bellissimo, ma con troppi ospiti di tutte le età e di conseguenza con tanto rumore in ogni momento della giornata o della notte )

Il silenzio, gli ampi spazi a disposizione, la discrezione del personale, la qualità del cibo e la bellezza della struttura con i tanti servizi a disposizione, hanno fatto si che la sia stata rigenerante

Bonito hotel, pero muy malos restaurantes

Las instalaciones del hotel son buenas, una piscina bellisima y las habitaciones son comodas. Sin embargo, los dos restaurantes resultaron ser bastante malos. Y como queda alejado del pueblo, es dificil salir a comer a otros lugares

Dejligt Hotel.

Har haft en fantastisk uge på hotellet. Vi nød den store pool og den gode mad på restauranterne. Det eneste vi kunne sætte en finger på var kvaliteten af deres fitness rum. Det ville være dejligt, hvis de opgraderede det lidt.
