Property is in a very good spot in district 1. Is a busy area but once inside it is quite. My first room was noisy due to next door karaoke (may have been a one off). When asked if could switch room they changed no problem to higher level.

Staff are great, room very clean and big, awesome spot for walking street down little side alley.

One of the better places I’ve stayed in HCMC. The only downside was that the hot water is about 2deg warmer than the cold water. It’s refreshing after a day out in the sun, but first thing in the morning, a warm shower would have been good.

Reasonabke price, a bit of walk to ben thanh market. Hotel in decent condition, not brand new but good conditions. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Good thing about hotel , reception is floor level, dont need to walk upstairs with luggages to reach reception . Dont like the outside if hotel, lots of broken pavement. Hard to walk around.

This hotel is within walking distant from the famous Bui Vien Waking Street, D1, about 10 minutes.
There are many shops and restaurants nearby and you can walk, about 20 minutes to the famous Ben Thanh market.
There are several Liberty Hotels in Ho Chi Minh, this is an average one.

The room and everything was as expected.

But if you want privacy or just a simple “leave me alone” then this hotel is not for you. The front desk constantly asks for your name and room number every time you use the elevator.

Very central location across from a park and 10-15 minute walking distance to most historical landmarks and central market. The room is spacious and reception staff is friendly and helpful. Only 2 minute walk to the Walking Street! Tons of restaurants and coffee shops and tour operators and money exchange offices around hotel area.

I was happy yesterday morning at the Hotel.
I arrived to the hotel early morning yesterday. I wanted to check in early.but, in the front desk won’t let me. He even told me that he had room available but he won’t let to me check in. He said if I want to check in early I have to pay extra 50% of the room cost. I booked a room on Hotels.com I already paid for the room. A guy in the front desk was very rude so I left and went to different hotel near by and booked a room there. I don’t think I book I book Liberty Hotel park view again.

The location is great for visitors to HCMC looking to shop, visit the main tourist destinations and and experience the vibrancy of the city. The staff are polite but not overly helpful with the exception of the bell boy and the doorman.both of whom were super. The rooms are clean but tired. The carpets are worn and need replacing. We had a front facing room which was incredibly noisy starting long before daylight. OK place to stay but overpriced for what you are getting.

Great Hotel in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

Everything was prepared well for my welcomed arrival to the Hotel. The room was spacious and very clean and fresh. Just what the Doctor ordered, if you will. Especially liked the position of the room that was really quiet. Loved that aspect. Breakfast was good. It is a good idea also to vary your appetite as you can choose to eat in or out. The Hotel staff were very, very friendly and always smiling. This is a wonderful attraction to witness. My 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry makes me proud to see the other side of the world, doing a great service, as ambassadors, promoting their beloved Vietnam, as one of the great tourist destinations of the world. Top marks for Liberty Parkview Hotel.

I don't care how often hotel staff smiles or opens door if it fails to deliver on the essentials then it failed! If all that a hotel has to offer is a smiling face then its not really a good hotel but merely good PR!
Wifi is good. Location is good. Did not try breakfast overpriced. Upon check in was offered to pay for upgrade (around $15, I think)for privilege of 1 hr early check in. Bed worn and pillows as thin as a McDonald hamburger patty. Many hotels have a way of somehow miraculously achieving a 3 or 4 star rating and not meet the standards of such. Hotel.com also allows these hotels to greatly distort the inflated discounted price. Stay at this hotel for deluxe room is fine below $28.
This hotel was a non refundable prepay and upon check in demanded that I leave them a $50 cash deposit which the hotel supervisor kept telling me was so little. It was a little embarrassing to hear her say this in front of her workers since the average wage is $150 $200 in Vietnam. No, where in the hotel information is it stated that a deposit is required and I had to agree to terms or I could not check in and would lose almost a week or prepaid reservation.

Comfortable hotel in a great location

This hotel is one of the better ones that I have stayed at in HCM. I booked 3 rooms as I had some friends visiting. We all had a rear facing room and all of them were twin single beds after booking doubles, so not impressed with that. The rooms were fairly quiet as away from the street noise and the beds were really comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job and the rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet had a good selection that catered to different tastes.
The location is great for those who want to be near the busy tourist areas or need to catch a bus to other areas, as many of them had their pick up areas nearby.
Overall I would stay there again.

The location is great. Staff was helpful and friendly. If you're able to book without breakfast, skip it. Not worth the extra money. Breakfast leaves a lot to be desired and you can get something better outside. Rooms are a little old but otherwise comfortable. Staff upgraded us the first time because we checked in early. Total scam on so called 'huge discount'. SGD140 per night usual?! (before 40% discount) for a pathetic questionable 3 star?! Not sure if its the hotel or hotel.com false marketing. Totally not even worth the 'discounted price'. Go live in another hotel. Old dated hotel/ furnishings/ slow cramp lift, battered bath towels, flat pillows. When checking out, Hotel wasted and hold me back for a missing old towel and hrld my long passport in ransom. Eventually, I got it back after wasting 20min of standoff. I just refused to pay to settle to give in to their scheme (front desk/ housekeeping in cahoots). To think that we have been leaving daily tips for housekeeping. Be warned & bring your money to somewhere else.

Checked in here today, coming from Ho Chi Minh. Excellent staff. Front desk was very helpful. Room is very clean. Definitely above standard for a 3 star hotel or whatever the hotel class is. For the price, why would you even drop a star??

Note: there's no elevator, so don't be surprised. And pool closes at 9pm.

Comfortable and quiet hotel near backpacker area

This hotel is a full size hotel in a custom built hotel building instead of the narrow village housing style buildings converted into hotels. Rooms and hallways are large and airy compared to the cramped rooms and hallways of most hotels in the area. It was hard to communicate with the hotel staff which told us they didn't have rooms that were available on Expedia to show us - but minutes later after booking via Expedia, suddenly they had these rooms. This wasted a lot of time. Otherwise it was a great hotel.

A great location for the backpacker street. - it's a 5 mins walk away!

Staff were friendly and helpful. The only issue we came across is how slow the lift is. You might think me petty but seriously, it's so so slow when staying on a high floor! Would still very much recommend the hotel but you have been warned!

The room is very prone to noise - noise from traffic (hotel is beside main road) honing in the wee hours of morning and knocking noises from the floor above...staying at level 8 and the upper floor is the restaurant...and the air conditioning is not cold !

Budget Hotel near to most of the attractions

This is the second time that I have stayed at this hotel. Apart from the small lift I would recommend it to all buget travellers
Its very convenient as it is situated at Pham Ngu Lao and you may like to take the new bus service 109 direct from the airport for only 20k dong.
It is centrally located such that you can actually walk to Ben Thah, Bitexco Tower, War Remnant , Post Office and Notre Dame Cathredal(closed except on Sunday when there is a Mass). If you are looking for a cheap place for a drink just turn right and walk to the first street and turn right again there are lots of places to drink and if you don't mind joining the local the beer is pretty cheap 20 to 25 k dong each . As for food the choice is more limited here unless you walk further. If you turn left and walk a couple of street further you can find at a corner coffee shop that serve the famous Vietnamese Pho cost 65k for a good portion. You can also find Bun Cha along one of the street.
