The room was clean and spacious. Loved the size of the refrigerator and that the bathroom didn’t seem cluttered because towels and cloths had their own area.Room was easily warmed.

Had a decent stay for one night to attend DSU game. My room was initially missing the remote comtrol for the TV and the cord to the telephone. Staff did replace the remote by the time I returned to the room. The location was clean. Bathroom could use a little updating; there were no towel bars to hang used towel/washcloth, which was a little annoying. Overall the stay was fine. I would stay agin in the future.

Food truck not in so not much for breakfast. Not many in hotel. Breakfast was supposed to be 6-9. We got there at 8 and was told breakfast was over. He did make me a waffle . The coffee machine didn’t work he said.A few other people were complaining as well. Later the food truck came and I was able to get some blueberry muffins. Upon arrival they gave us a room. When entered bed sheets all waded up on bed. I advised clerk. He said he’d make the bed. I said I want another room.later I found out the room wasn’t made up because it had maintenance issues. So if we had stayed in that room we would have had other issues. Toilet holder was loose. Paper appeared to be coming off the wall. Could hear people above walking and flushing commode all night. I complained about the room the guy said he would call his manager if we didn’t hear from him by 3 the next clerk would follow up. I went back at 3 to talk to the next girl and she walked away and let him deal with me. He said he would talk to the manager tomorrow at 10 they would both be there. Neither were the next day. The clerk called out. Only the maid was nice.

The check-in process was smooth and easy the gentleman helping me was very efficient knowledgeable and friendly. The room setup was beautiful but the loveseat couch was very well used and looked in need of replacement as well as the pillows there was black mold on the white curtain hanging above the heater and the pillows on the bed were little pillows you would find on a couch made Sleeping a little uncomfortable although they did put five of them on the bed it just wasn't the same. Got up for breakfast and was a little sad to lift the hot breakfast lid and find four hockey puck eggs and for sausage patties that did not look appealing at all the bagels and breakfast pastries were frozen so I was a bit disappointed but as the hotel goes as a whole it was very nice and well kept except for a few items that needed attention if I needed to I would definitely stay there again I would just walk to Bob Evans in front of the hotel for breakfast

Room was noticeably dingy, breakfast was ok, much of it was under-stocked. The reason for the low star review is that our room keys didn't work in the morning and the front desk person re-keyed them without even asking our names, just the room number. We were two women and a child traveling, what if someone with bad intentions would've asked for our room number to re-key their room card. This is a serious safety concern and they need to do better.

The room hall way light broken; one of the lamps broken; there is a broken outlet on the desk. I have no where to charge my phone; the shower water is very slow, 1:30 am someone TV was so loud, make me couldn’t sleep. I know that was not hotel fault. But it was really first time has such unpleasant night there. This hotel needs some cosmetic job.

I could hear every word spoken by the folks in the room next to mine. It was not their fault.as the walls are paper thin. Its was hard to rest if they were talking or watching tv. The breakfast offered was an egg and a sausage everyday for 5 fays straight. The room was big and seemed clean. My bathroom cieling had water damage and looks as if it will cave in any day. I feel the room was a little pricey considering the lack of privacy, breakfast options and water damage.

Could not flush toilet first night and the sink stopper would not open. I had to use my finger to make it rise. The carpet and curtains were stained. The breakfast was extremely poor with no bread available and milk was in a cup. How ever the bed and pillows were excellent.

These puts the front desk workers who are dealing the problem with the customers. Again house keeping is not done on daily basis. The first room 220 was dirty, it smelled like mildew and mold, the bedsheets and comforter had spots and stain all over it so they put me in another room which was ok but again it had a weird smell. Horrible. Filthy. Anyone can walk into the hotel off the street after hours despite sign on doors saying doors are lock between dusk to dawn. They are not. They send customers to rooms that are not cleaned by the maid…beds unmade , dirty floors, etc . Then found us different room after saying they had nothing else . Beds were made but floor was sticky, room smelled of cigarette smike, and refrigerator was dirty and did not work. They refused to issue refund because they got their money already..

The sheet was torn, the curtains had some rather large noticeable stains, and the room smelled overwhelmingly like rubbing alcohol for some reason. You can tell the room was cleaned, but some items need to be replaced or deep cleaned more often.

I waited to post this review in hopes of receiving a response to the email I sent to the hotel’s general manager, but after hearing nothing back, I can only assume that my experience reflects a broader issue with how this hotel is managed.

First, the dates of my stay were recorded incorrectly. More importantly, the condition of the rooms was unacceptable. In the first room, the refrigerator was dirty, a light bulb was out in the bathroom, a toenail was on the floor, and there was a visible urine stain on the pull-out sofa bed. We were moved to another room, only to find mold on the pull-out sofa there as well.

I was traveling with my children, so these issues caused a significant disruption—particularly because they were left with nowhere sanitary to sleep. We were in town for my nephew’s graduation, and unfortunately, the high room rate did not match the level of cleanliness or service we received.

Lesson learned: next time, I’ll stick with hotel brands that consistently deliver on basic standards of quality and guest care.

I only was there for one night to visit family. The hotel had a site mildew smell to it, but I dealt with it. The one good thing that I liked was that the rugs were being deeply shampooed on the floor that I was assigned. What I didn't like was that the next day I had gone to put my belongings in my car and went back to my room to find out my key no longer worked. I was a little bit upset because my granddaughter was in my room And I couldn't get to her. They questioned me if I was checking out and I said no, but I needed to get back in my room because the time wasn't up for me to leave. They immediately reactivated my room key. I'm not sure if I'll ever return again. The rooms were OK a little bit outdated. The air conditioning was very outdated and very noisy.The shower needed more gripping support to prevent falls. I didn't do the complimentary breakfast. I didn't feel compelled.

As soon as we parked the car, we were approached by a \"homeless\" man asking for money, he literally was going from car to car as people were unloading their luggage. The building is well maintained, there was no cigarette smell as is often the case in \"non-smoking\" hotels. When we arrived to check in, we passed staff members during their smoke break near the entrance. The smoking there was not a problem for us. We waited only briefly until staff entered and helped us. In such instances, I suggest the staff member could immediately follow guests into the building to render excellent service. Staff were uniformly pleasant and very helpful. I recommend this hotel.

The price of the room for a motel was over priced, but it was home coming for the nearby college so they probably jacked up the price.The brace for the hand held shower head was broken, so it just hung. The room was right next to the ice machine and the breakfast so it was noisy in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. It was a last minute decision to attend the home coming, so we had to take what was available.

All of the Sofa Beds were “MOLDED & LOTS OF MILDEW”
It was so smelly and gross. I told the desk clerk that Mold is deadly. How could I and my children sleep on a “MOLDED BED”
