We had an absolutely wonderful stay in The Port Salins hotel! A warm welcome at reception, a lovely room with a spacious balcony overlooking the canal, and in a very central location. Although we never used it, the pool looked so inviting.

Our evening sitting on the balcony was relaxing and most enjoyable - a highlight of our stay!!

The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep was a godsend. We would describe the shower as “the best ever”.

There was plenty of variety for breakfast, I only wish I’d spotted the tables set out by the pool sooner as that environment would have enhanced our experience.

We would highly recommend this lovely hotel and would love to return.

Public areas of hotel were nice - modern decor and comfortable. Pool area and rooftop bar very attractively furnished.
Rooms were clean but dated - chips and scuffs on furnishings, chipped toilet seat, no amenities in room apart from shampoo and shower gel - and 2 free cartons of water . Corridors were basic, did not have the feel of a 4 star hotel.

We only stayed one night so this is based on that short stay. Location is prime for this hotel. It is only a block or so from the beach with restaurants and a long promenade. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the pool, canal and marina. Parking is readily available right outside the hotel door. The staff at the front desk spoke English so communication was easy.

Amazing stay.

Service at this hotel is exceptional. We requested an extra comforter and pillows whe we checked in and our check in clerk brought them up herself 3 minutes after we left the counter. Very friendly staff that catters to all your needs. The dinner that evening was amazing. The chef came out while we were in the lobby browsing at the menu and he offered us to make anything we wanted, even if not in menu! His food was outstanding. This is a great hotel!

Located close to beach and restaurants. Rooms need a little bit of update as they are getting old but they are clean and comfortable. Front desk staff is friendly. We only stayed two nights and did not use the facilities so can't comment on that. We would recommend this hotel.

This is a very nice hotel in a great location. The rooms and the hotel in general are immaculately clean. The restaurant food is good quality. You can walk to the beach in a few minutes and their are plenty of bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hotel has maybe 4 or 5 guest parking places and there are many on street parking spaces outside, however the on street parking must be paid for in the summer (free off season)

Wonderful place! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, full of great recommendations, and the breakfast was excellent with different choices each day. One rainy afternoon we decided to hang out at the bar downstairs for a bit and even that was lovely! Would stay here again.

Very nice hotel

Booked a single room but when I arrived they showed me it was a tiny space that just held the bed, so upgraded to a very nice double overlooking the canals. The rooms are ok value for money, in a very peasant setting. I was there in off season and even so the parking spaces were often full, so I’d be concerned about parking in high season. Staff are great.

Nice place, sitting on the water, view of boats outside our window. Many restaurants right around the hotel. Staff were really nice and made no fuss when we asked to change rooms due to noisy neighbors. It was a bit further then I expected from Salvador Dali's house but it worked out very well for us. The breakfast buffet was really nice and they made eggs to order. The rooms were very clean and the hotel felt new.

Comfortable room. As usual in Spain there was no kettle in room which would normally be fine except that the bar was closed and we had no means of getting a hot drink throughout our stay. Most of the staff were helpful but on second night we sat in the bar and weren’t able to get a hit or cold drink. We were stuck there and the staff lady was not polite or helpful and said she did not have enough staff to serve us. There was just one other person in the bar. The pool is not heated and the jacuzzi was empty. There was nothing to do in the hotel. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast.

This hotel is a good option for the area. It's neat and the staff is friendly. They speak enough English to be very helpful. The hotel star rating is a little misleading, as it is not even nearing luxurious. It is however, a comfortable safe place to stay in a beautiful place.

Upon arrival the staff was pleasant. The room was comfortably laid out with a good sized bathroom. The bed was somewhat comfortable. The photos on the web didn't give you the same feel as when you enter the hotel. It has a warmer feeling about it and a nice pool out back. It is a 3 minute walk to the beach and the supermarket is very conveniently located across the street for everything fresh that you may need. The hotel made excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby. We wished we had more time here.

Bon hôtel, propre, confortable, bien situé. Chambre rénovée en relativement bon état. Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour pouvoir profiter du restaurant Noray, très bien noté, en demi-pension. Grosse déception, lors de notre séjour de 2 jours (lundi à mercredi en février), le restaurant est fermé et on nous envoie déjeuner dans des restaurants proches de l'hôtel : pizzeria \"la locanda\" pour un menu très réduit, de qualité à peine passable puis \"le capitan\" là aussi un menu réduit, mais de bonne qualité. Bref, nous avons payé cher la demi-pension et n'en avons pas eu pour notre argent. Scandaleux de ne pas annoncer la fermeture du restaurant sur le site lors de la réservation en demi-pension!

Las habitaciones son antiguas y detalles como pelos en la bañanera o no reponer toallas tanto de piscina como de baño no es propio de un hotel de 4*. El personal del retaurante y recepción muy atento. En el tejado hay una terraza donte tomar unas copas por la tarde o noche, pero se observa una mala organización logistica al momento de servir (falta de basos, bebida y simpatia del personal)

Établissement confortable avrc belle terrasse pour la chambre. Sdb un peu datée mais propre. Lit extra large et confortable. Jacuzzi sur le roof top tres agréable avec belle vue. Super endroit mais malheureusement nous avons choisi une mauvaise chambre avec lit double trop petit...à changer la prochaine fois. Nous n'étions pas bien renseignés. Au sinon impeccable, très propre, petit déjeuner au top, très bon restaurant, belle piscine. Très positif. Sans un doute nous y retournerons.

Veldig trangt rom, men en badetomsdør det var vankelig å komme gjennom på grunn av plassen. Gikk ikke helt opp. Ikke veranda på rommene mot parkeringsplassen. En den støy. Gratis parkering. Nydelig utsikt fra takterassen. Ingen servering der oppe. Beliggenheten er flott. Fint basseng. Prøvde ikke frokosten.

Das Hotel ist in einer sehr guten Lage von Empuriabrava. Ob an der Rezeption oder im Restaurant, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Zustand der Zimmer ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Dachterasse mit dem Wirlpool oder der große Pool zwischen den Bootsplätzen läd zum verweilen und entspannen ein. Lediglich die Zimmer zur Straßenseite bekommen etwas den Verkehrslärm ab, gegen einen Aufpreis bekommt man Zimmer mit Blickauf den Pool, welche etwas ruhiger sind.
