Our stay was wonderful! We arrived before check in time and were able to store our luggage so that we could start exploring right away. When we came back later in the afternoon the room was ready and luggage was brought to us. The room was clean and well maintained. There were always waters in the mini fridge which was nice. Breakfast had a nice selection of delicious foods. We also had drinks one evening in the little sitting area. The staff is very kind, I heard them giving pointers to several other guests. Check in and check out were quite easy. The location is amazing, close to so many things!

Perfect location for the popular sites tucked away on a street short walking distance from the Rialto bridge and St Marks square. The hotel is decorated in a traditional Venetian style but with a modern touch. The reception staff are available 24 hours and are very friendly. The room was very comfortable with good air conditioning and bathroom facilities. We didn’t choose to have breakfast so can’t comment. Lots of great restaurants on the same street as the hotel and nearby. We would happily stay here again

Nice hotel situated a few minutes from Saint Mark Square. Our water taxi was able to drop us steps away. Wild hotels in the middle of Venice it was nice and quiet. We were in the annex building, which is just off the main building no elevators so I got a lot of steps in, but not terrible.
The highlight hear from me was the staff. They went out of their way to get reservations for us help us with train tickets and other things. I’m actually gonna stay here another night on my way out of Venice.

We only had typical Italy issues like no hooks to hang a damp towel after a shower. Also the shower was less than half enclosed with a hand spray shower head, so you have to be careful not to spray water all over the bathroom.

Location was great. The apartment was spacious but could have used some sprucing up in the living room - an end table, pictures on the wall. Just felt bare but not a major deal. There was construction going on outside our annex and they started early in the morning. By early I mean 6 or 6:30 am.

Didn't know there was 2 parts to the property but it made it easier to enter through the Annex rather than the front door all the time. Other than that, inside the hotel was well kept and clean and staff informed me of events happening that week to make sure there is no delays to my departure. Location and staff were amazing! 10 min walk go basically everything. It was great being central. However the hotel room (I got a double economy) was TINY. Bathroom was also tiny and awkwardly laid out, shower was a bit finicky too.

We loved our apartment with a beautiful view of the canal and gondolas . They were great about arranging us transportation both from the airport and also to the port in Chioggia. The property's location would be hard to beat. I would pass on their breakfast option next time, as there are many nearby options with better cappuccino.

This was an amazing stay. The hotel is located a minute away from st Marco square and many great shops and restaurants. Getting there from the airport water shuttle was a breeze and navigating the public transit to the train station was also fairly easy from this location. The rooms were clean and well decorated and maintained. The front desk staff were exceptional. I would recommend this stay to anyone staying in Venice. They also have bag check service to any of their guest getting there early or leaving later for free.

Hotel Montecarlo is in an excellent location, just off St. Mark’s Piazza in a quiet area. It was easy to walk to nearby sites and restaurants from the hotel. Check-in was smooth, and the staff was very welcoming. While the room was small, it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast offered a great variety of options. I would not hesitate to stay at Hotel Montecarlo again in the future.

Room was well furnished and the aircon was appreciated as you'd need the windows closed as you are very central; noise from tourists outside in the evening. Not a criticism of the hotel. At check in I was told that I booked their “annex” property, which I didn’t know what that meant since this was not mentioned when I booked. It ended up being in a different building adjacent to the hotel. The room was tiny with little room to maneuver even with one luggage, and very dark. This was not the issue. The problem was that after the second night, we asked for room service because the bed sheets were stained (our fault). The room was serviced but the sheets were not changed. And after the third day my wife and I woke up with a face and body rash. Not sure if they were bed bug bites or something else. The experience overall was not as we expected. We had a wonderful stay at the Hotel Montecarlo! The hotel is in a wonderful, central location close to Piazza San Marco. The staff was helpful, always ready to answer questions or give advice on local restaurants, things to do, etc. We had them arrange a water taxi for us to go to the airport, and it was an exceptionally smooth process. They even helped us transport our luggage to the water taxi. We never had breakfast or afternoon tea at the hotel, so I can't give an opinion on those. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Montecarlo again and recommend it to others.

The greeting from the hotel clerk was abrupt. When he told us our room was in the annex, I told him I booked in the main building. He said, very rudely, \"I did not book the room and it cannot be changed\". The bellhop assisted us with luggage to our room, but, we are seniors, had to walk thru an alley-like street, and hike up 3 flights of stairs because no elevator. This is why I requested a room in the main building. He told us they are avaliable to serve us 24/7; however, I called about 6:30 the morning we checked out to ask for bellhop assistance but was told \"thete is only one person at the desk and bellhops don't start until 8AM. We struggled to get our luggage back down the 3 flights of stairs, walked in the hotel lobby at about 6:45AM to see 3 gentlemen behind the desk. I was very upset but did not say anything and only checked out becausethe lobby was full of guests. In addition, when we checked in we were told breakfast is offered for $20 per person. However, after talking with others in our group of 22 people, they were told breakfast was included. After all this, I would never recommend Hotel Monte Carlo to anyone.

I booked in the annex building and was assigned to Room 509. I am 5’ll” in height and kept hitting my head on the room’s ceiling beams. Not sure if all the rooms are all the same. Amazing. We got the apartment which is just a few steep from the hotel and has a nice canal view. It has everything, a kitchen with all the utensils and even a small oven. Two independent rooms each with a tv. Another tv in the living room (although the remote was not working but did not use a lot anyway).
