Perfect hotel for a resting couple with nice views

Absolutely adored this hotel. Great location (shops & restaurants nearby, beach ditto!) and a beautiful pool & breakfast buffet. Our room had a lovely balcony with a sea view. An affordable mini luxury!

Nice hotel. Our room was lovely. We had a partial sea view room. The view was spectacular. We were on the quiet side looking at the neighbours rather than the pool. The balcony was large. It was a pleasure to sit and relax outside.
The pool is large. Busy. Bring a towel or rent one for 4 Euros. Pool side entertainment was sad. The employees did not look like they enjoy their jobs. Buffet breakfast was vast. Many options.
Our room could have been cleaner. Especially the bathroom. The vibe is family vacation.

This is a 3* hotel but in many ways it is equivalent to 4*. Rooms are spacious and clean, with a terrace and excellent ait-conditioning. It does look like there has been a recent renovation.
The hotel is bang on the promenade with numerous fantastic beaches within walking distance or accessible by the little train which runs through L'Escala.

Nice big room. Nice breakfast. Two issues: onsite parking was full by mid-afternoon; and a queen size bed turned into two double. Had to park quite ways away on the street. Hotel staff appeared to be aware of the insufficient onsite parking situation but there wasn't anything they could do about it.

A one night stopover.

We stopped by for an overnight stay and were primarily attracted by the reasonable room rates and availability offered. I was led to believe we would have 'partial sea views', however this was definitely not the case. Our room was 118 and towards the rear of the hotel. A really well apponted room, recently renovated with lots of room for luggage and bags. Comfortable beds and good quality fittings. The swimming pool was a definite winner and surprisingly deep. We ate out for the evening and enjoyed a complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning. A decnt assortment of english and continental breakfast available. The dining area was not as lavish as the room but was of no real importance. Secure and reasonabley priced offstreet parking was available and gratefully accepted.

We could not fault the Staff in any way, all very pleasant a nd helpful. The meals gave a great deal of choice and wine was a reasonable price for a 3 star Hotel. Our room was very open plan with many shelves so everything was on view. once we learnt how to set the shower to the right temperature it was very efficient but personally prefer a bath tub or at least a bidet.

Hotel atthe centre of l'Escala

Great hotel close to the centre of everything in L'Escala. It has good facilities and a well kept pool. Good for families and also couples this is the second time we have stayed here and it offers a great value for money stay in L'escala with views across the bay of Roses. Easy walk along the front in to town over to Empiunes and around the bay. The Breakfast is a good sixed Spanish buffet breakfast better than many in more expensive hotels.

We are occasional visitors to L'Escala and often wish to stay an evening. Our previos hotel of choicechas closed and others not opened but i do not think we will need them any more. Our stay at RV Neives Mar was superb. Could not fault it on any terms price or comfort or facilities or cleanliness.

The only criticism would be that the ‘pool bar’ doesn’t open until 3pm, so when sitting around the pool all day, we couldn’t get a tea, coffee, soft drink snack or beer.

When we got to the hotel the room we were given did not have a working air conditioner and I was given another room which also did not have air conditioning. Me and my family were up all night sweating and it was not until the middle of the next day that we were able to get a room that was tolerable. The room was very expensive and I asked for compensation and was told that because I booked it through Expedia that a refund could not be given for the night - completely unacceptable! This ruined a day and a half of my vacation and put a big damper on the trip.
I expect some compensation from either the hotel or Expedia as it is only right. If I don’t get some resolve I will not use either the hotel or Expedia again.
This is my second review of the property and I have not heard anything from Expedia thus far.

We have stayed at Nieves Mar off and on for over 30 years so fortunately they were like a second family to us ,we knew most of the staff on a first name basis and Martin and Rosa the cousins who ran the hotel,so for us to come back and experience the style the hotel is now being run on ie more aimed at young families we will not return ,I guess nothing stays the same .

Hotel room had defect AC. Upon check-in no extra beds as promised in the booking (suite) were available. House keeping organized within 2,5 hours. Defect AC was reported THREE times - firstly at 11 pm we got a room with a functional unit.
Stressful experience - and a shame it took 7,5 hours to give us a new room/fix the AC issue.
Despite a nice discount, the overall experience is quite ruined due to this.

Good base to explore L'Escala

Great location close to both Riells and the old centre of L'Escala. The hotel appears to have been recently refurbished and our room was a good size and nicely decorated compared to other 3 star Spanish hotels we have visited. Huge pool and pool area, with lifeguard on duty. Plenty of sunloungers, perhaps lacking a bit of character as the area is so big. Bar did not open until 15.00. Breakfast was adequate. On site parking available for 10 euros a day which felt expensive but it was very hard to find parking in the street close by. Overall a good base for a short stay if you want to be close to the centre of L'Escala.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour mais avec quelques points à améliorer.
En rapprochant les deux lits pour en faire un seul, nous avons remarqué de la poussière sous le lit et des cheveux sur les couvre-lits. il y avait également quelques poils et cheveux dans la douche. Les serviettes de toilette n’étaient pas très blanches. Hygiène de la 2e chambre idem.en revanche, le petit-déjeuner était excellent avec énormément de choix, bien plus que dans la plupart des hôtels que j’ai fréquentés.Le personnel était vraiment très sympathique, et je tiens à souligner la gentillesse du jeune homme de l’accueil hier soir, exceptionnellement serviable : il nous a même fait chauffer de l’eau au micro-ondes pour que nous puissions faire une infusion.
Le parking privé est à 15 €, mais on peut aussi se garer gratuitement le long de la route sans crainte. L’hôtel est idéalement situé, face à la mer, ce qui est très agréable.

Dans l’ensemble, un bon séjour grâce à l’accueil et au petit-déjeuner, même si un petit effort sur la propreté et l’entretien des chambres serait apprécié.

Excellent hôtel, situe en bord de mer avec une vue magnifique. et je recommande ce hotel, car ayant oublier dans la chambre une bague, j'ai appelé l'hotel et les femmes de chambre l'ont retrouver et déposé a la réception. Vraiment un personnel de confiance et félicitation. Etant déjà parti, j'y suis retourné et finalement ai prolonger d'une nuit mon séjours. Le petit déjeuner buffet vraiment tres bien fourni, juste un bémol a revoir je pense que les le blanc des oeufs font un peu plastique et les oeufs brouilles pourrais être amélioré car drôle de consistance. Sinon je recommande vraiment cette hôtel. j'y reviendrais.

Nous séjournons dans cet hôtel depuis plusieurs années environ 3 fois par an. Nous sommes toujours satisfait. Sauf cette fois-ci où nous sommes passés par Hôtel.com pour réserver. Donc chambre moins chère = très petite chambre ,serviettes de bains grises ( pas d'origine) pas de ménage le matin mais la dame est entrée l'après midi quand on se reposait. . Sinon toujours très bon petit déjeuner ,très bon accueil..

Rien à dire sur l’acceuil le professionnalisme le service du personnel ( sauf au bar ou un « bonjour » et « merci » et un sourire seraient acceptés . Chambre et sanitaires très propres. En revanche le fait de passer par Hotel.com devrait vous inciter à bien prévenir que la chambre est ridiculement petite et placée près de l’escalier, de la sortie de secours par une porte dérobée faisant plus penser à un cagibi qu’à autre chose . La durée du séjour 1 nuit explique peut être cela ?

Herzlicher Empfang. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im zweiten Stock mit Balkon und Blick auf den Pool und das Meer. Das Zimmer schien frisch renoviert und war komfortabel, modern und geräumig. Das Bett groß und sehr bequem. Wir konnten die Balkontür nachts offen lassen und haben bei Meeresrauschen wunderbar geschlafen. Tür zu und man hört kein Möwengeschrei mehr. Wir hatten Halbpension und sowohl Abendessen als auch Frühstück (beides Buffet) waren sehr gut. Fazit: wirklich ein tolles Hotel, bei dem für uns alles gepasst hat. Wir waren in der Nebensaison hier, daher konnten wir sogar in einer Nebenstraße unweit vom Hotel kostenlos parken.

Es war alles in Ordnung. Frühstück reichhaltig. Parkplatz kostet 15 Euro, dafür hat man genügend Platz und sie sperren den Platz ab (wer nichts zahlen will, kann auch in der Stadt parkieren). Zimmer waren neu gemacht. Ich empfehle, dass ein Zimmer auf einer höhren Etage gebucht wird.

Wir empfanden die Unterkunft als okay. Leider hatten wir ein sehr kleines Zimmer bei der Buchung war keine Größe angegeben. In dem Zimmer war leider nicht alles in Ordnung die Toilettenspülung lief, der Abfluss in der Dusche war kaputt sodass es unheimlich gestunken hatte und die Sicherung summte nach Reklamation passierte leider nichts. An vielen Ecken renovierungsbedürftig.

Bon rapport qualité-prix pour un hôtel 3 étoiles, il est situé en bord de mer le long d'une promenade . Le confort de l'hôtel avec parking 12 € la journée sa piscine de bonne qualité et un buffet libre au petit déjeuner largement satisfaisant . seul bémol de notre séjour c'est que nous avons eu la chambre 108 petite chambre environ de 11 mètres carrés avec un lit en 130 dommage.

Deuxième séjour dans cet hôtel. Hôtel agréable en bord de mer. Coin piscine bien aménagé. Seuls bémol la propreté de la chambre qui n'était pas nickel. Le repas du soir était correct mais le petit déjeuner très moyen
