Great location, convenient, walkable to main attractions. The room was okay but seems cold, not welcoming and no character. Staff was not accommodating enough. Tried to leave our luggage at reception for just a quick coffee run before heading out but the receptionist declined and wanted us to put our luggage in the storage room, which is not convenient for us as we only have a few minutes to spare before catching a taxi heading to the airport. Can smell a whiff of cigarette smoke from our room as well. Overall, it was an okay stay.

The property is well situated; directly across from the cathedral. There is a nice café as well. The room itself is small and basic for one person. The problem was that there isn’t an elevator to help you with your luggage. There is one, but it only services the first floor, so you have to request a room with elevator access.

This is a very clean and unique hotel. As shown in their photos, there's art and antiques everywhere. There was a problem with the bed in the first room and they changed me to another room without any problem. Be aware the lift only reaches three of the rooms. If you are in any other room you will need to take your bags up either a few steps to a couple of flights

Great stay on our trip to Cordoba! The location is great because it has many great things that are walkable and even more amazing, we were right in front of the Mezquita Cathedral. Amazing dinner options as well. Rooms were a bit outdated but they were always very clean. Staff members were quick to answer all of our questions, and they were always polite and friendly. Thank youuu for allowing my family and I to have an amazing stay!!

I'm stumped by the lack of hospitality in this regard:
As I checked in for the night, I proposed extending to 2 nights. In the rainy off-season, it was obvious that they had plenty of vacancies.
The clerk quoted me a price for the 2d night that was 10€ more than I paid for the first. Nope.
I tried emailing the property to appeal politely. I reminded them that they need not clean my room until I departed. Just before bed, I received a verbose contract for 5€ more if single, 10€ if double.
OK, I thought, I'll split the difference. Upon waking, I read the form letter more closely, I noticed that in order to pay more than I had booked it, I also had to vacate my room for the midday and then move to a different room. It's their business, and if they don't want money, I give up. I booked at a nearby hotel for LESS than my night with them.
That outcome was lose-lose. I had to pack up & change rooms. The hotel also lost a chunk of €.
And I am so mystified by this hassle that I am writing a negative review. Everything else was fine, but why did they push me to walk around the corner in the rain?

Extremely hot in the room, no window other than onto the breakfast room. Asked for fans and staff said they would look but never followed-up. Not accessible by car, no parking. All public parking close to hotel were full so it’s important to have alternative plans.

The hotel was clean and well maintained though it is an old building (which all the buildings are near there). There was some street and people noise outside on a Friday night as life in the city goes late. We highly recommend it.

Mesquita is a beautiful hotel right opposite one of the entrances to the Mesquita. The airconditioning worked well as did the bathroom. Let me start with that finding parking was not easy. However, with a 12 minute walk I saved 20 euros per day. You can also call the property to provide license plate so you can enter the restricted zone for one hour for easier drop off. Once we arrived we realized that the property was also a well maintained museum as a bonus. Great pictures for everyone to take. Anyway, as long as you do not want to sleep in it is the perfect property. Classicly old to be expected, right next to the cathedral, everything walkable, dining options in the area are sublime. Most shocking I must say is that it was sooooo affordable for the location and service. Very great find! Keep it up!

The main thing going for this hotel is its location-right next to the mezquita. If you are lucky or unlucky to have a room where you gaze upon it from your window you will share the excitement of every single person who yells, talks, laughs, poses, mingles, and every other human interaction that occurs mere feet from where you sleep.
It is loud. Very loud. There is also music, which apparently by law must end at midnight. I didn’t time this but it went past when I would have preferred some quiet to go to sleep.
The target clientele at this hotel is probably not me and my husband. We are mid 60’s, well-travelled, and while not exactly prime specimens of physical fitness, we can manage our luggage and walk without embarrassing ourselves.
Several reviews have mentioned that this hotel does not have an elevator. This is not exactly true. There is an elevator. It was operational. However it goes only to a number of rooms at the top of the hotel. Our room, on the second floor was not served by this elevator. However, it would have been far easier to take the elevator up to the higher floor and walk down the significantly fewer stairs than to struggle up the many more steps with our backpacks and rollaboards to get to our room. Why didn’t e were two women at the desk when we checked in. One of them could have offered to help us with our

Rooms very cramped, bathroom designed badly eg powerful shower should be good but water flew all over the bathroom, no room to put toiletries, door had to stay closed due to terrible air conditioning needing to focus AC in room and therefore bathroom was insufferably hot. Bathtub/shower should have bars for older folks but narrow tub floor was also slick so accident waiting to happen.
