I felt like we were in a Wes Anderson movie: 70s chic! Fantastic wellness centre, spent many hours in the spa and pool.
Dinner - canteen style - wasn't great but thats a reflection on the whole area, great food was hard to find.

Perfected pleasant and well situated in the town

The Palace Hotel Herviz is a good solid nice place to stay. The rooms are spacious and clean. I love the glass elevators. The staff were friendly and efficient. Only downside for me is they charge a delivery charge for room service which I wouldn't expect from a 4 star hotel...so I ordered food delivered from Wolt

Staff are not particularly friendly. Perhaps it is a cultural thing, but they staff don't smile and look rather sullen. They are not particularly helpful either and most don't speak English.

I had paid extra for dinner and as I am a vegan I asked for a vegan option and was told that they don't do anything separate for vegans and I would just have to do with their buffet which is 98% vegan unfriendly. If they could have stuffed the fruit with meat, I'm sure they would have. The food consisted of loads and loads of different meat dishes and a little lettuce, tomato and a mushroom salad. That was the sum total of vegan food.

With the exception of one waiter, none of the staff speak English in the dining room

As for the massage...if you like an oil rub and you find it relaxing, the I suppose it is okay. The woman doing the \"massage\" knew nothing about muscles, pressure or how to apply it.

A back and head massage converted into a rub of shoulder blades that went nowhere near your back or head.

I stopped the massage halfway through but was still charged.

If you leave your room later than 10.30, don't expect your bed/room to be serviced. The hotel is clean and pleasant but don't expect too much in terms of service.

Worst Hotel I have ever stayed at, do not book

I was looking forward to a 4* Spa Hotel for my wife and our son. When i called the Hotel to arrange something the receptionist was really rude. When we checked in again the man behind the reception was again rude showed no customer service what so ever.

The food was terrible and we had to pay for our own drinks even the table water.

The rooms were nice but the A/C / Heating was really noisy and the curtains where no point being there as they didnt cover past the bottom of the window seal.

Communal areas are all nice.

Again on the last day to check out I went to ask to settle my bill and had to ask 3 times to show me my invoice before I paid. He kept just telling me the price, and again did not ask about our stay, say good morning / afternoon or even smile.

I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone unless you have money to waste for a supposedly 4* hotel. I would say it was more of a 2/3* Hotel with a 1* service.

The hotel was quite nice and is located in the center of Heviz. The breakfast was quite good as was the dinner I took on the half board option. The only negative I had was the underground parking, the card scanner failed often and the spaces were too small.

Liked it but could be improved.

Arrived just before 9PM and was told Hotel Restaurant was open and would happily provide a meal. However Restaurant closed whilst we drove around the block to park the car in secure parking. Little Restaurant just up the road was very welcoming, with great service and good food. Hotel generally good and for the price was a bargain. However on the down side aircon did not seem to work in either of the rooms we booked and getting hot water to fifth floor took some time. There was nothing bad about the place but at the same time there was nothing that made it great. I would not shy away from staying here again.

awful first impression as the woman who checked us in was extremely rude. when we got to our room (for 3 people) the single bed was unmade. we found bed clothes and dressed it ourselves. the shower (or toilet) had also leaked across the bathroom floor. there was no cutlery or delpth in our kitchen whatsoever. (we were never going to cook/eat in our room and so never asked about it). after our poor experience at check-in we decided to do it all ourselves rather than speak to the woman at reception. from there it was fine. decent breakfast with friendly staff. gym is quite poor, but at least the hotel has a gym. the hotel is in a really good location though. overall it's fine, probably worthy of 2-3*.

Do not expect too much

It is not what one expects from a 4 star hotel. The beds were far too soft, room was not dirty, but it also was not clean, the air in the room and the lobby was stale, air condition did not function, coffe was the worse ever.

The hotel has excellent position in the center of Heviz and close to the lake.

The location, comfort and decor was very good, and the reception staff were polite and helpful. However the hotel was let down by the so called \"restaurant\" - the buffet breakfast and evening meal was very poor in variety and quality of food and the unhelpfulness of the staff. There was no late night bar or room service. Go there with low expectations.

Palace Hotel Heviz - only in German

Persons at the reseption do not speak English, only German. Communication in English like getting any information, making masage reservation etc is totally impossible and frustrate. Parking place at the garage given to you is probably occupied because they are not supervised and it is hard to explain the problem at the front desk. On the other hand, some waiters speak fluently English. Breakfast buffet is good. Beds and pillows are confortable and give you a good sleep. Remeber to hang on Do-not-disturb, otherwise you are woken up early in the morning by the house keeping without knocking the door.

The hotel was brand new and was very spacious and good quality. Surpised to find a stove top and fridge. Would be a good place for a family. The beds were not the most comfortable, but everything else was fine. Location to the thermal lake was excellent and pool area was quite nice and unexpected. Balcony's were a good size and nice to sit out on and sip some wine after a day at the lake.

Maybe this hotel would be ok if you were there are part of a couple or in a group. The communal areas were very nice. I went as a solo traveller and i would not recommend others to do so. My room looked like it had not been cleaned since the place opened. I was given dirty towels. I was pushed to the back of every queue and the staff seemed to not want to deal with me. The room i was put in was tiny with no balcony, although it faced directly onto 18 rooms with balconies so i had to keep my curtains shut! From my room it was impossible not to see that some of the empty rooms were much nicer than mine! I asked if i could be moved. The woman said yes but only if i would pay the extra. I said that would be fine but when she checked her computer she realised i had already paid more than the full double room rate and on that basis refused to move me! I was in Hungary for 1 month and this was BY FAR the worst place i stayed including several hostels. The town is nice though!

Sehr schönes Hotel, sauber und gepflegt. Gut gelegen im Zentrum. Unser Zimmer war super, sehr geräumig (ca. 27 m²) und hell, mit Kühlschrank. Einziger Negativum, dass die Abluftventilatoren im Bad brutal laut sind. Die Aufzüge sind leider auch etwas klein. Wir haben Halbpension gebucht, das Essen war reichhaltig, vielfältig und viel Auswahl. Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es waren echt ein paar schöne Tage hier.

The hotel has a good location, few minutes walk away from thermal lake Hévíz. Shops, pharmacy are close by.
Unfortunately we had a problem with our booking via Hotels.com. Rooms are okay, our room was on the 1st floor, over the restaurant, because of this it was very noisy at early morning and during dinner time. For one of us the bed was not long enough (if you are over 190 cm), blankets are short too. The hotel environment and room furniture have the 80's style. It has a continental breakfast with enough options, scrambled eggs could be better. Caffé / bar has nice cocktails and cakes. Staff was friendly, at the reception could be better.
Spa was nice with the pool and jacuzzi, two different saunas and steam room, open longer on the weekend. The hotel is dog friendly with water and food bowl at the entrance. The parking garage has small parking space for bigger cars.

A személyzet nagyon kedves. A szobák tágasak, csak sajnos az első napon nagyon büdös ételszag volt a szobákban. A reggeli és a vacsora is bőséges és finom volt. A wellnessben az egyik kolléga barátságtalan volt, nehezére esett mosolyogni, törölközőt nem adott.

Wir haben 3 Wochen im Palace Hotel verbracht. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich uns Auskunftsbereit. Das Angebot des Nachtessensbüffet ist vielfach fantasielos und es gibt im Abstand immer wieder das gleiche. Ein wenig Abwechslung würde nicht schaden. Das WiFi ist schwankend und fällt immer wieder raus.

ביקור בגן עדן עלי אדמות

לפי הסיפורים והאגדות ששמענו על המקום הנפלא הזה , ציפנו לדבר טוב , אבל כאשר היגענו ונוכחנו לדעת שמה שאמרו זה המעט של המעט ,או יותר נכון על קצה המזלג . המקום ממש גן עדן , שקט אוטנתי , בתים ובתי מלון ציוריים שרואים רק בסרטים ואו בחלומות .
הגענו למלון ביצענו צק אין מהיר קיבלנו חדר מהמם כ 30 מ'ר עם מרפסת , כולל מקרר כיריים חשמליים , מיטה זוגית ענקית ממש כייף .
ירדנו לאגף הספא הכולל בריכת שחיה מדהימה ביופיה עם אורות וצבעים משגעים ומסביב הגקוזי וחדרי הסאונות .
הגענו לחדר האוכל שם הוגשה ארוחת ערב עם מבחר עשיר , שווה כל שקל .
למחרת יצאנו לאגם המפורסם בעל יכולות הריפוי כפי שמסרים , ושם זה ממש גן עדן עלי אדמות , כל הגן הענק מטופח ונקי , הכל טובל בירק ופרחים בקיצור מקום שאין חשק ללכת ממנו. לדעתי כל בן אנוש חייב לבקר שם לפחות פעם בחיים .

Sehr gute zentrale Lage im Centrum!

Ein Manko sind die Tiefgaragen-Stellplätze!! Leider sind diese viel zu eng bemessen. Ich fahre einen SÜV und musste 2 x den Stellplatz wechseln, weil bei der Breite von jeweils 1,90 - 2,00 Meter eine Ein- und Aussteigen nicht möglich war.

Hotel położony w centrum, przy głównej ulicy. Pokój był czysty i przestronny. Smaczne jedzenie. Miła obsługa. Możliwość skorzystania z parkingu w garażu.

В целом не плохой отель. Завтрак и ужин (шведский стол) понравились. Относительно смены постельного белья: за все время пребывания ( 5 дней) не поменяли ни разу. Один раз (после обращения к горничной) были заменены наволочки. Спа центр в один из дней (13.05.2019 ) был закрыт на весь день и на следующий день вода в бассейне была +22 градусов, так что воспользоваться им не удалось.

Náš oblíbený hotel v Hevízu

Do hotelu jezdíme několikrát ročně. Skvělý poměr kvality a ceny. Výborné jídlo, ochotný personál. V centru a blízko lázní. V hotelu je k dispozici bazén, sauny a vířivka. Doporučuji.

Garagen Preise waren Nicht wie angegeben 2300Forint,bezahlt 2500 Forint pro Tag.Ist nicht viel aber nicht wie angegeben.Teppich imZimmer sehr staubig und die Betten wurden nicht ordentlich gemacht,schlampig!!!

Personal an Reception und im Service sind freundlich. Das Frühstücksbüffet bot alles, was man sich wünscht. Lob an Küchenpersonal. Sauna, Bad etc wurde nicht benutzt, somit keine Beurteilung.

Удивительный Хевиз

Отдыхали в отеле с 25.03.19 по 04.04.19 Первое впечатление от номера было негативным-очень грязный кавролин на полу, с грязными пятнами и разводами.Уборка тоже не очень тщательная.Со временем старались не обращать на это внимание. Полотенца новые, белые, меняли сами во время уборки или сразу по запросу.Удивляет отсутствие чайника при таком большом кухонном уголке.Я попросила его через несколько дней и дали сразу и бесплатно.Очень дорогое лечение, поэтому лучше выбирать сразу санаторий с включенным в стоимость лечением-так удобней и по стоимости получается так же.Очень вежливый персонал-в ресепшен,в ресторане, уборщицы.Говорят только на английском.Питание понравилось-все свежее, фирменные блюда от повара,были морепродукты.Много официантов, убирали все быстро . Расположение отличное-все рядом, не было шумно.Отель напоминает больше городской отель, чем санаторий-мало пожилых людей.В общем, все понравилось, кроме номера.В следующий раз выберу более новый отель, может быть с лечением.Сам Хевиз-просто сказка! Очень красивый, чистый и ухоженный, с особой атмосферой спокойствия и умиротворенности.Очень приятные люди, все улыбаются.Мне нигде не было так хорошо, обязательно постараюсь вернуться в Хевиз-в это удивительное и притягательное место.

Összességében kitűnő volt a szolgáltatás, néhány apróságon lehetne javítani. A szoba kényelmes és tiszta volt, az alkalmazottak segítőkészek és barátságosak. A wellness megfelelt az igényeinknek. Az ételek bőségesek, és finomak. Ami lehetne jobb: az automata kávé a reggelinél nem túl finom, illetve a gyümölcslé automatából kinyerhető ital is elég gyenge, leginkább cukros víz, aromával. Ezek picit lerontják az összhatást.
