Very pampering experiences. My wife and I took full advantages of various treatments. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent. There is a very nice village that is a short walk from the resort. They arranged for a driver to take us from Budapest and back at a very fair price.

Great place, great food, albeit it's not 5 star

We've had a great time, staff was kind and courteous, food was excellent. The room, however, was a bit tired with cheap details, but it was clean. We feel that the 5* designation is a bold overstatement, overall, it's the lower end of the 4* scale, but this isn't to take away from the fact that it is a great place, I'd easily recommend it and we've had a relaxing time.

Hotel is in good condition. Bed is comfortable and the rainfall shower is great. Breakfast and dinner buffets are quite nice. The downside is that many things seem to close at an earlier time. The massage reception is closed at 6 pm. While spa facilities are said to close around 9 pm, it is closing at 8 pm. Overall the stay is still good.

As good as a land based cruise liner!!

Fantastic experience. Glorious facility 10 minutes walk from the famous lake. The spa is superb and very well run. So much entertainment on offer we were spoiled for choice. The room was lovely and comfortable, we loved the menu of pillows. Food and drink were glorious and catered to any taste. Top tip, book your treatments early! We opted for a couples massage and enjoyed the experience completely. One of the highlights is to bathe in the famous waters (available in the spa), which really do have remarkable and positive effects. If I can I’ll go back for the classic car show in the summer time.

Great thermal resort for any season vacation

I was absolutely stunned by the beauty of the place and its amenities . Special thanks to the restaurant management as the food was exceptional , with lots of healthy options , it was not just delicious but presented with exquisite taste and creativity .
The rooms were on a small side but comfortable and clean .

The hotel staff was absolutely great , very polite and accommodating. Housekeeping was excellent , very responsive to questions and any inquiries for extra items .
The pools , saunas , all service areas were very clean and there were no limits on clean fresh towels which was absolutely a bonus all by itself .
Even though the building and the rooms were not the largest and not top-notch updated, the whole impression of the place is very positive and the atmosphere of hospitality compensates everything .
Planning to come back in the nearest future myself and highly recommending Lotus Therme to friends and family .

This hotel provides all the amenities deserving its 5 star rating. The food is of excellent quality and variety. Staff (both the hotel and the restaurant) is friendly and very helpful. The rooms may be slightly dated, but well kept and clean. The hotel grounds are beautiful, especially in their gorgeous fall colors. Nightly live music in the bar is pleasant and entertaining. The thermal pools and adjacent rest areas provide for complete relaxation.

I stayed for one night in April 2016. The hotel location is not terribly convenient, but you can walk to the thermal lake nearby. The hotel itself has a wide variety of pools, saunas, and more, which are very nice. Room was fine, and comfortable. All went well.

Stayed 4 nights with family. Lovely hotel in a quiet area of town. Nice pool and spa facilities. Very good food and service at all meals. Exercise classes, golf and tennis! The hotel is a short walk to the thermal lake. Would definitely stay here again!

The rooms themselves were clean, well appointed and the grounds were well kept. The many thermal pools and the work out rooms were clean and well appointed. We played tennis on the clay courts and they were in great shape.

This was a half-board hotel with buffet style meals. The dining room service was spotty. The food was okay. Would have hoped to be able to have the option of a sit-down dinner ordering from a menu.
The place was quiet, almost too quiet for our family's taste. Even though the hotel was full, there didn't seem to be many people in the pool, thermal baths etc.

Wonderful Spa Hotel

This was our 4th visit to Lotus Therme but our first since the change-over to the new owners.
While the facility is still a wonderful place, we did notice a few things that have slipped in standards for a 5 Star hotel. Firstly, the facial and toilet tissues are very rough compared to what one expects at this level. It also appears that the carpets have not either been cleaned or replaced in quite some time with the sides being very dark and dingy and therefore dirty looking.
Also, the smoking are is directly outside of the door leading to the pool form the main bar area meaning one has to walk through clouds of smoke on the way outside or, if sitting inside, the smoke billows in each time the door opens.
I had a pedicure in the Spa area and though the quality of the procedure was fine, the piped in Rock music was not! One goes there to relax!
On the positive side, the buffet meals were all very good with a good variety, well served.

Zimmer sehr sauber. Reinigungspersonal Top. Kellner sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Essen könnte besser sein. Sehr viel gekochtes und geschmortes. 3 mal Abend gegessen, kein einziges Mal was paniertes. Aussenpool ist jetzt wärmer, dafür war das Heilbecken und der Aussenjacuzzi etwas kälter.
Trotzdem hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt.

Es wurde uns in der Rechnung die Minibar berechnet, ohne sie genutzt zu haben. Mehrfach habe ich p. Mail angefragt und bis heute keine Antwort bekommen. Wir haben leider erst nach 900 km Fahrt zu Hause festgestellt das es unberechtigt war. Das Hotel antwortet bis heute nicht darauf.

It was a really comfortable stay. Everything is very logistically and comfortably located and situated. The room and all spaces in the hotel very clean and constantly taken care of and attended to. Delicious, very fresh and variable food and buffet, the chefs really know what they do and cook just in front of you. From people on any kind of a diet to any tastes one can find everything. The pools are maybe not so large but nicely located. The sauna and steam baths are spacious and clean. Spa offers a lot of treatments and personnel are attentive and professional. Very nice live dancing music in the evenings, the bar has a large number of cocktails and bartenders are quick and professional. The bed was super comfy, and the air conditioner was easy manageable. Cute little balcony. A beautiful park around the hotel to walk. Possibility for horse riding very close.

Das Zimmer wurde bei unseren einwöchigen Aufenthalt in de letzten Tagen nicht richtig gereinigt.Beim Zugang Außenpool zum Innenpool befand sich Schimmel am Zugang und wurde die ganze Woche nicht entfernt.Für ein fünfsterne Hotel nicht akzeptabel.Auf meinen Hinweis mit Fotos wurde zögerlich reagiert.ich hoffe auf eine Stellungnahme von seitens des Hotels.Personal super freundlich.

Härligt äkta spa!

Härligt äkta spa med allt. Svimmingpooler, mineralvattenbassäng med vatten från sjön Heviz, Europas största mineralsjö. Utmärkt middagsbuffé. Spa med lerinpackning i varmvattentäcke och föryngrande frysskåp bland mycket som erbjöds. Lite avigt långt från Budapest men tar man expresståget med hyfsad AC och schysst tågrestaurant blir resan värd att göra!

Az épület picit retro, érződik, hogy a '90-es években épült, de ezt bőven ellensúlyozza a személyzet kedvessége és figyelmessége, illetve a kiváló ételkínálat, mind reggelinél, mind vacsoránál. A tisztasággal kapcsolatban is mindennel elégedettek voltunk, illetve parkolásnál külön öröm a fedett parkoló, hogy az autóknak nem egy beton placcon kell állniuk.

A wellness és a kiszolgálás is kitűnő volt. Az ételek választéka és minősége mind a reggelinél, mind a vacsoránál nagyon jó volt. A kiszolgálás is nagyon kedves és figyelmes. A parkolóhelyek megfelelő nagyságúak, kültériek, de fedettek. Az épület picit retro és a panorámás szobánk a hátsó kertre nézett, ami nem sok vizuális élményt adott, de a fürdő, a kiszolgálás és az ételek mindezt feledtették.

Nagyon nagy zold teruleten, egy golfpalya mellett, a varos szelen, de kozel a furdohoz helyezkedik el a szalloda. A szalloda szinvonala, szolgaltatasa, elhelyezkedese kivalo, maga az epulet is szinvonalas, de az elmult evekben modernebb megoldasokat nyujto 5 csillagos szallodak epultek, ujultak meg.

Bei jeder Konsumationsabrechnung wurde Servicezuschlag (sprich Trinkgeld) automatisch jedesmal mitverrechnet.
Und diese Konsumationsavrechnung wurde nicht als Sammelbeleg pro Nachmittag z.B., sondern nach jeder kleinen Bestellung gemacht.
Das macht in Summe enorm hohes Trinkgeld aus!!!

Wir waren sehr enttäuscht über die Zimmer. In keiner Weise darf sich so ein Hotel \"5-Stern-Hotel\" nennen. Zimmer klein, Kasten viel zu klein und eng, Teppich schmuddelig.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut (obwohl sie es 2x verrechnen wollten!) Service nett. Das Thermalbad solala, nur zwei Duschen zur Verfügung, obwohl sich jeder duschen sollte bevor er ins Bad steigt. Ich würde nicht mehr hingehen !

A szállodában semmi nem 5csillag!!!! Be szerettünk volna jelentkezni masszázsra(ugyan 50 féle van felsorolva kb.), de közölték, hogy tartózkodásunk során csak thai masszázsra van lehetőség.... a vacsora rossz minőségű... a wellnessrész kicsi... a szálloda állapota rossz, némi felújításra szorul. A bárban az italárak viszont 5csillagosak!!!!! :( Nem ajánlom senkinek a szállodát!

Wir waren 4 Tage im Februar als Gäste im Hotel Lotus Therme und es hat alles gepasst. Auf den gastronomischen Rechnungen werden zusätzliche Servicepauschalen verrechnet, was uns erstaunte aber sonst alles perfekt. Jederzeit wieder....
