The customer service is outstanding. We really enjoyed our stay here and we were blown away by the welcoming, friendly staff that couldn’t do enough for us. We are a retired couple from Australia travelling the world by bicycle. A quick thank you to John the manager that personally made sure our needs were met and also a special mention of the chef Vardhan Bahl who created delicious dishes around my food intolerances. All the staff were fantastic. The breakfast was incredible . The rooms were huge and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

The staff are all absolutely amazing, so friendly and polite. The hotel is exceptionally clean. They go out of their way to help you. The breakfast was fabulous, so many varieties to cater for all and again the staff serve your every need. The only, very minor point I have is the bathroom, the layout is a bit odd and the shower doors have a gap which means water leaks out all over the bathroom.

Taj Vivanta the best hotel to stay in Panjim (Goa)

I always stay at “Vivanta” Panjim Goa the staff is very friendly enjoyed the breakfast of course you have to pay around Rs: 1,100/- per day per person but the spread is good. This Panjim Vivanta is in the heart of the city so very convenient to close by place like MiraMar beach and nearby good restaurants etc etc over all enjoyed my 7 days stay will sure stay there on my next visit to Goa.

Overall, my impression of the hotel is very positive. From the moment I arrived, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome and comfortable. The location is great - right in the heart of Goa Panaji with easy access to all the city has to offer.
One of the highlights of my stay was the breakfast, which had a wide variety of options from English to Indian breakfast, which suited my tastes perfectly. It was well-prepared, fresh and delicious, and the service was attentive and friendly.
Another aspect of the hotel that impressed me was the quick turnaround time for any request. Whenever I needed anything, the staff were always prompt and efficient in their response. They were always happy to help and made me feel well-cared for throughout my stay. The rooms themselves were on the smaller side, but they had all the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable stay. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and well-stocked, and the overall ambiance of the room was relaxing and inviting. I had the chance to use the sauna and spa facilities during my stay, and I have to say it was the cherry on the cake. The spa was luxurious and relaxing, with a range of treatments on offer to help me unwind after a long day of exploring the city.
In summary, I would highly recommend Vivanta by Taj in Goa Panaji for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Goa.

Vivanta Panaji is in a fantastic location for business in Panaji and surrounding areas, which is what I was looking for. I could walk everywhere in main Panjim business district and shopping. Short 10 minute walk to the Mandovi riverwalk area for running/walking exercise. Expedia and Vivanta should/could do a better job of more clearly differentiating the two Vivanta properties in Panjim - this one in Panjim and the other one is in Miramar nearby - it was quite confusing while planning our trip. To be clear, this is not a hotel for beaches if that is what you are looking for. The Indian hot breakfast at this hotel is amazingly good, even with some unique and authentic Goan offerings (we're Goans by origin). The service staff was extremely attentive and responsive to all needs. There is some kind of city canal or sewer that runs adjacent to the front of the property which is quite dirty and foul-smelling. I am not sure what if anything Vivanta can do about it, but it takes away from an otherwise fantastic hotel experience.

For comfort and convenience, there is no better place than Vivanta, Panjim. The staff are so courteous and always have a smile on their face. Be it small things like table preference in the restaurant or requesting for a lady to accompany the in-room dining services personal as my daughter was alone and we got stuck with work one afternoon.
Special thanks to Mr. Dipu Singh, Mr. Praveem Kumar, Ms. Sebirina and Ms. Kadambari. You guys rock and made our vacation so great.

By Far the best Hotel experience in India

The most amazing staff. I have traveled the world and this was the best staff I have ever encountered. They arranged everything we wanted to do and helped us navigate the travel cancelations and challenges owing to the Coronavirus. They even called Delhi To help us with this process. The hotel is awesome, the rooftop pool amazing. Breakfast is phenomenal. The neighborhood is cool. If you want to have the Goan beach experience, don’t stay here. But, you really should experience the old town, the old Portuguese architecture. It’s the real Goa.

Look no further than the Vivanta Goa!

We were a bit skeptical staying in a city hotel when in Goa, but Vivanta was a fantastic surprise. Impeccable service all around, fantastic breakfast, attention to detail - they left a bedtime story for my son every night, gorgeous rooftop pool with a magical sunset, and the convenience of being close to great restaurants about town. What more could one ask for?

Overall our stay was pleasant. Rooftop pool area is lovely at sunset, food is exceptional, staff tries to be accommodating but the staffing plan is chaotic.

The downside—The surfaces and textiles in our room were dusty and soiled. When we complained we got flowers and chocolates, which is not what we wanted. We just wanted a clean room. One fly in the bar and they moved us out to fumigate! That’s crazy. Priorities are misplaced. This is not how a Taj property should operate.

We always stay at Taj. No other chain comes close to the level of genuine care and pampering we receive at the Taj! The exceptional staff makes all the difference. Special mention to Viola (Guest Relations), Dipanker (Latitude restaurant), Ravi (Travel Desk) Dayanand (Car Tour Guide) and the swimming instructor (From Orissa, I am so sorry that I didn't take down your name) at the pool. We had such interesting conversations and they all made us feel extra special and looked after. Additionally they surprised us with their kind gestures and polite behaviour. This is what we go on holidays for! Completely relaxed, no tension and everything is looked after by the Taj. Got off to a bad start as they were not there to meet us at the airport and then had no record of our booking. Made up for it with a free meal! Good TAJ hotel and you can walk to all parts of the city. Comfortable and attentive would recommend and stay again. Hired a car from Joey's next to the ferry. Not for the faint hearted but gives a great opportunity for exploring.

Clean and modern. Good wifi. However the breakfast buffet was not up to par. The continental items especially - pastries etc were often stale. Some drinks are also left sitting out for too long - lassi, buttermilk, smoothies etc..these drinks end up separating and look unpleasant. A suggestion is to make those types of drinks to order instead of letting them sit for a couple hours or more. The Indian Good that was made fresh to order was however very good.

One of the best service I’ve received in India in a Long time. We weren’t very happy with our room and the staff took the time to acknowledge that and within 24 hours offered to upgrade us. The staff at this hotel provides excellent service and goes above and beyond. We were met with a welcoming cool drink when we arrived, and when our room wasn’t quite ready, they had us go to the restaurant for coffee and cookies, their treat. Restaurants stay open very late, and one is open 24 hours, which is useful and appreciated. The morning breakfast buffet was excellent, changed daily, and included live music. We received a piece of decadent chocolate cake for dessert on the day we left, with Bon Voyage written on the plate in chocolate. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Just be aware there are no beach activities available right there as the nearest beach is Miramar, which is quite small. There is no nightlife or activities there.

We are a couple from Canada. Firstly, the hotel had made a mistake with regard to booking being paid already. They asked me to pay... I had hotel.com voucher saying it was paid... They still Insisted payment didn't go thru..
I checked my credit card payments online from 6 months ago, found the payment and showed them... Still confusion on hotel end... Not a good first impression. Not a positive feeling.
We had booked a suite.. The suite we were given, for what I paid $300 cad a night, was small and dark... We have travelled a internationally, and the value for the money spent was just not there. The hotel moved us to a larger suite after a few days... It was more comfortable... It was more like what we expected when we made the booking. Hotel offered to let us stay on larger suite 3 extra days ( because of check in issue etc)
We felt like the first suite we had spent a week in was such a waste of money for the small size of the suite and just bad layout..
Service with the valet, pool, and the guy at the cake and coffee shop was absolutely excellent. Very very good and attentive.
I feel like the upper managemnet or \"policy\" of the hotel is what made us not love the hotel...
I would rather stay in a Marriott or other International hotel... Reviews are good for this hotel, but most reviews are nationals of India, so review is relative to their perspective. We were disappointed and expected more.

Actually this property is strictly NO for family n couples... there r no single wardrobe in any room and service also very lazy, no kids activity, very small pool, nothing happening in@ Hotel accept locality and very near by River CASINOS..

A great hotel with wonderful staff. The only downside was the acoustic nature of the building, which made it difficult to sleep. Within our room you could hear all the noise from the main dining hall where the parties were hosted and in addition, you could hear other guests talking in the hallway and with constant opening and closing of the doors made it difficult to sleep. Other than that it was a very pleasant stay!

It was the third time that I was staying at this property. So, there is no doubt that I am satisfied with the quality of services that Taj Vivanta, Panaji, provides.
However, the stay was made really memorable because of the outstanding service that was given by Mr. Praveen at the restaurant.

Well positioned near city centre.
Rooms equipped for business people rather than holiday makers. Insufficient drawer space and lack of clothes hangers caused us to use suit cases for storing our belongings. (5days)
Otherwise, staff friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the stay.

It was a very pleasant experience staying at the Vivanta by Taj - Panaji. Nothing to complain as everything was in the right place. Food was good so as the room. I would definitely like to book this place again when I am visiting Goa next time. Overall 5 on 5.

Very Nice and cordial hotel staff. Being at the center of Goa , we can plan visit in any directions ie South Goa , or North or Old Goa as per your choice. All boat cruises are near by , Nice Miramar family beach is within 10 minutes walk.Main Market is also very near by , where you can purchase spices and dry fruits at reasonable rate.
