Had 4 days here and was very impressed. Basic and a little dated but perfectly functional and clean. Service with a smile throughout. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Wifi was fine and found the bed comfortable. Great location as well. Would fully recommend and come back again. I was here for Málaga marathon and my stay here made for a lovely weekend.

Great hotel that is well maintained and in a perfect location for the marina and shops and beach.
Breakfast is a bargain and sets you up for the day exploring or relaxing at the beach.
Beach and pool towels are provided for a refundable deposit of €10 each so no need to pack any.
For sure would stay again.

This was a great basic hotel. The room was clean, although our view was to the back of the building across, so we kept our drapes closed and we couldn't use the balcony.
The location is excellent, close to the beach and an easy walk to the old city centre. The staff was super helpful and polite.

I speak honestly. Out stay was okay, the staff here are super lovely, especially the reception staff however the rest of the hotel did not really meet our needs. We had a small room, which was extremely noisy, you could hear every noise, every door close. The first morning I spent half an hour listening to a man throwing up! The hotel desperately needs upgrading. The towels are not good, very old! The pool area is nice, although a small pool it was nice. The breakfast is average, we only tried it once. The location is great and if upgraded would stay again otherwise no we wouldn't

I had a single room and it was perfect for what I was looking for! It is not a luxurious accommodation, but was clean, had good space to unpack, and the bed was very comfortable. It was easily the best value around when I was looking. Plus, the location is excellent - safe, very close to the beach, and also very close to the historic center of Malaga and anything you could want to do in the city. I would 100% stay here again!

Staff were very friendly and helpful. I got there really early and they kept my luggage for me. The room was clean and comfortable, lots of pressure in the shower. Unfortunately packets of soap and shampoo instead of dispensers. Are hard to open when wet.
Very convenient walking to the botanical garden, Gilbrafaro castle, the harbour, the old town and the bus station.

Very convenient hotel, staff lovely, standard twin room had no views just a window onto a courtyard. Worth paying extra for a room with a balcony. Had to complain about noisy guests at 2 am, they said they would check the following night and the rest of the stay was peaceful.

We had hoped to contact the hotel to make some requests/get information before our stay but they didn’t answer the phone number when we called or reply to our emails and messages through the Hotels.com platform. One of our rooms had a window in the bathroom that faced into the hall of the hotel, it had a blur screen but this was not good quality and you could see into the bathroom from the hall. (See photo below of this window). Air conditioning worked well, beds were comfortable and it was in an excellent location.

Great location, good rooftop area with pool, closes at 9 and it would have been nice to sit up there after the pool closed. Rooms spacious and clean, we had two windows that both looked out into internal courtyards so lacked natural light. Breakfast was only €8 so was ok for the price. Overall a great hotel as a base to explore

This is an excellent choice of accommodation whilst staying in Malaga. Easy walking to the centre, and beach. Many busses run outside for just €1.40 each journey. Hotel is ideal. Beds are v hard…!!! The rooftop pool is a massive plus. We’d definately recommend Elíseos and will definately stay again.

The staff, the location, the cleanliness, a gem! Reception responded very promptly to my questions via Hitels.com prior to my stay. Check-in was a breeze, the room & beds very clean and comfortable. Easy walks to beach, and to old town part of Malaga safe friendly clean comfy near Bull Ring - we didn’t go see the bull fight but we could hear the music from the rooftop pool

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Elíseos in Málaga. The hotel is perfectly located—just a short walk from the beach, the old town, and major sights like the Alcazaba and the Picasso Museum. It made exploring the city incredibly easy and enjoyable.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was cozy, the air conditioning worked perfectly (a must in Málaga!), and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere for a good night’s sleep. The view from our room, overlooking the bullring, was an unexpected bonus!

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with directions, recommendations, or anything else we needed. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient.

Overall, Hotel Elíseos was a great value for the location, comfort, and service. We would definitely choose to stay here again next time we’re in Málaga and highly recommend it to other travelers looking for a well-located and welcoming hotel.

We didn't realise that it was so far from town. Set back from the road so had no view at all, apart from what looked like an old bullring.
Very basic, but did have a balcony.
Staff was helpful when asked about facilities. No tea or coffee facilities in your room, but when questioned, desk staff offered the use of a kettle and given some tea bags from kitchen. Twin beds were not very comfortable. Parking option was convenient, a good 15 mins walking into town.

It was clean, the staff were friendly on check in and the rooftop pool and sunbathing area is a lovely addition for a relax.
I did have breakfast on one of the mornings and there is plenty of choice and it’s worth what you pay for.
The location is great, close to the beach and easy to get to most things in Malaga.

Unfortunately my room was very close to reception, so between that and a group of extremely noisy men who were shouting and knocking on doors at all hours, I did not have a restful sleep for 2 nights despite the bed being very comfy.

Staff was exceptional in finding a room for us in the blackout, because we had already checked out in preparation for a train ride to Madrid. Without power, they couldn't check their computers, but one of them remembered a vacant room that wasn't reserved for the coming days. We had to spend 2 extra days in Malaga until we could rebook travel to Madrid. Without the wonderful staff at the Eliseos, we would not have had a place to stay during the emergency. Gracias s todo!

First time in Malaga? Consider this one!

I had never been to Malaga before and it turns out this hotel is very conveniently placed in the heart of Malaga. Everything is within ready walking distance - beach, piers, central area, castle and fort, cathedral, etc. The train station is a little longer walk, but walkable. There is a metro that can shorten the event, but I never tried it. Rooms are made up daily with clean bedding and toiletries. The hotel is older and not remade recently, so the elements (doors, floors, furniture) are dated and used, but very sufficient. Beds were quite comfortable. I would stay at this place again if available.

Perfect location on the edge of the old town overlooking the bullring. Just 5 minutes from restaurants and stalls on the waterfront and 15 minutes into the town centre. Room is basic, no kettle and only small sachets of shower gel. Very clean though and staff were very friendly. Fabulous breakfast for the price. Pool is only for dipping - not big enough to swim.

Great location, a few minutes walk to Pompidou Centre and walkable to all major attractions in Malaga. Small room but I find it perfect for a solo traveler. Clean and quiet. Breakfast (not included) for 7 euros could be probably a little better if compared with other hotels, but not a major issue.

Great location and transportation available with a taxi parked on the side of the hotel. A nice bar but didn’t serve dinner and not associated with hotel.
Good service, not much choice. However there were restaurants within a block or so. Safe walking at night. Would stay again!

Tucked behind the main street, this modernly appointed hotel was a quiet place in the heart of Malaga. Underground parking on site was convenient. Staff were welcoming and knowledgeable. We needed a laundromat and staff gave a recommendation with excellent directions. We were able to walk to all attractions and the beach. Shopping and restaurants were also close by. We enjoyed the rooftop pool one afternoon and the views it afforded us over the city and harbour. We didn’t purchase the breakfast but used our room fridge to keep a few breakfast items and drinks on hand.

Great hotel in walking distance of the town centre shops, the beach, the bull ring and the port, quiet rooms and the staff on reception are really lovely. Very clean rooms with a small balcony, air conditioning and nice shower cubicle in the bathroom. Mini fridge was handy too! Small pool on the roof with sun loungers and tables and chairs around the edges. Would stay here again.

I loved this hotel it was near everything I wanted to see in easy walking distance of Picasso museo historical sites and the beach.
And shopping areas and a lovely Sunday market at the marina. The staff were lovely so friendly, and the room was spotless. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would rebook if I return to malaga.

A great break in an interesting city.

Excellent stay and incredible value for money. Tucked away so little noise. Felt very safe as solo traveller. Staff lovely and breakfast was great value at €7. Immaculately clean and a very good size single room with balcony. Rooftop small plunge pool and sun beds too.Easy walk to the Marina and to main sights. Excellent transport links including airport bus nearby - local buses are amazing and very cheap. On the main hop on hop off bus route but not really needed as with a bit of research it’s cheaper to use local buses or walk!
