We loved this hotel, very clean, spacious, comfortable bed, very friendly staff at the check in counter and he referred us to a very good dining resto that we enjoyed very much too. The hotel is located on top of the train station but very quiet inside the room. Highly recommended.

I picked the hotel based on the fact that it was a few feet from the train station, however, it was literally on top of the rails and from around 6 AM to a little bit over midnight you hear the trains come and go every few minutes; we were in the 8th floor. Lots is business groups coming and going and slamming the doors. Very convenient when traveling by train, if you are willing to sleep with your airbuds on in noise reduction 😉

Perfect location to walk to everything. Away from the noise but close to shopping, restaurants, park, museum, cathedrals, etc. Front desk and restaurant staff were super nice and the room was really comfortable. Nicely modern style without the cold or emptiness. Would definitely rebook this hotel again.

once you get there it's great

the hotel is centrally located in Oviedo but very difficult to access - we drove around it a couple times before finally parking in the adjacent public lot and figuring out how to reach the hotel through the lot. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable.

Good hotel in good location.

We drove to Oviedo. Parking was a little tricky. Waze informed us we have limited access to parking. What we did: upon approaching enter the public parking. Drive down to level -3. There are an entire row of bays marked AC Hotel. Press the buzzer at the door control by reception. Take the lift to \"O\" for reception. It's paid parking.
Staff was friendly and attentive.
We booked a suite. Flooring was bared vinyl, no rugs, thus not very comfortable to walk on. Rooms was very plain, not a frame on the walls.
Overall the hotel is clean and the bed was comfortable.
Location was good. We walked all over and restaurants are plenty near-by.

it sits above the train station and public parking with places reserved for Marriot on level -3 on the town side of the hotel next to Oviedo station entrance. the lift nearby leads to the entrance of the hotel . There is a little train noise but not bad and little car noise. the old town is 15 mins walk.

Location was amazing, right on top of the train station. The rooms were comfortable, and the less-abled room was a dream come true. Plenty of lifts in the hotel and escalators from the plaza outside to the street level. recommend to anyone.

Convenient location, modern clean room. Service was a little lacking. We arrived late and got food from a restaurant to go. When we asked at the front desk for a fork, we were told the restaurant in the hotel was closed and they could not get us a fork. The room service options are 24 hours but we would have to order something just to get a fork. I was very shocked that they could not meet such a simple request.

No one cares if you stay here or not. Reception don't acknowledge your presence or even help with your check in, the terrace staff ignore you if you want a drink and the housekeepers speak very loudly outside your do not disturb room. Give your money to a hotel that appreciates it

Oviedo short visit

I went to Oviedo for a short visit. AC hotel is perfectly located just minutes from the Old town and major attractions in Oviedo where you can have the best restaurants in the city.. We enjoyed the views, cleanliness and comfort here in this hotel. Would go back definitely.

Near city centre, above railway station. ️Bit tricky to find by car, the entrance is on the big plaza above the station.Rooms good, tho no safe, there are deposit boxes at reception.Staff v friendly, we had a meal on the terrace at 11 pm on a Sun after arriving late.Parking rate good.

Overnight stay in Bilbao. We had used this hotel a few years ago and were happy to return. Well located, clean and breakfast good value. Downside was the refurbishment to the front of the hotel which of course spoiled it's appearance.

One of Oviedo's best

The AC Hotel is adjacent to the railway terminal and only 200m from the bus station, plus it's on the ring road for the simplest of access. The staff could not be more helpful and the facility is in top-notch condition. We came to walk the Camino Primitivo and they kindly held onto our [non-Camino] luggage while we walked even though we only stayed there at the end (after foolishly choosing a different hotel for our first night in Spain!)

Great hotel in good location.

Very good hotel, and 1 minute far from the train station and the \"ruta de los vinos\" where you can enjoy good wines and tapas. The hotel service is very good, friendly and helpful. The room was good, specially the bathroom. It was clean, quiet and bright although i would like to have had a bit more of space for a bigger bed (wasn´t small!) The gym though is a small room without many things.I would definetely recommend this hotel.

Weekend in Oviedo

Good location next to the bus station (buses run to the airport once an hour and take approx 40 mins), the train station and a short walk to the old town. The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. The down side was the room was not cleaned very well, no new towels or shower gel, the breakfast was limited and extremely expensive for what it was and the internet was very slow and again very over priced.

Good but with issues

The hotel was beautiful. The location was ideal. The room was very spacious and comfortable, with one exception. The room was very hot. There was a thermostat in the room which we tried to operate the first night but could not cool the room. The next day we asked how to control the temperature and were told that we could not and that we should open the window. We opened the window (which was screenless) and got some relief; however the hotel is situated above the train station. The trains would wake us up early every morning, but it was better than overheating.

Outstanding Service and Convenience

Well located hotel situated above the rail station and in close walking proximity to the attractions of the city. Clean well appointed rooms. Most impressive was the service of persons at the reception area who were very pleasant and efficient. One person at the front desk went out of her way to spend considerable time in asssisting me in translating a telephone conversation to a Spanish friend that I knew in the area. Overall the stay was satisfying and pleasant. The room rate represented a good value as well. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Almost everything was perfect, excellent location, very friendly staff, they make us feel very welcome and it is very clean but it would 100% superb if it was not so noisy in the morning when you are trying to rest and sleep a bit longer because you are on holidays, we could hear the conversations people where having from the corridor.

Very nice hotel - an excellent value in Oviedo

If you are taking the Renfe train to Oviedo, there is no more convenient hotel than the AC Forum. It's just a matter of steps away from the station. Very nicely appointed lobby and room with helpful staff. Our room was a bit small, but nevertheless comfortable, with a great view of Oviedo from our window. Would definitely stay here again.

Good central hotel. Staff were helpful and had reasonable english. Room was reasonable size, very clean and well appointed except for safe which I would expect a 5* hotel to have. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.
If driving there go to driving directions on hotel website as map on hotels.com is completely wrong. Also use hotel parking and pay at hotel for cheaper rate.

Clean, Stylish, Convenient Hotel in Oviedo

AC Forum is conveniently located between the train and bus station in Oviedo. You may be thinking that this would equal dirty and cut rate for weary travellers, but it's the exact opposite! We were pleasantly surprised to find a clean stylish place to rest our heads. We were only there for one night, but hi-lights include: computers in the lobby for guest use, large bathrooms (ie: full tub and shower), spacious and clean rooms! Francisco at the front desk is incredibly helpful and speaks english well for non-spanish speakers. You are within walking distance of the gothic cathedral for history lovers, an enormous clean park for nature lovers, and tons of great shopping for well, those of us that like to shop! For American travellers if by chance you are missing McDonalds one of those is within walking distance too.

The hotel is located close to the main shopping areas and is approximately 15 minutes walk to the \"old town\" and cathedral. There are plenty of cafes and restaurants within a similar walking distance. The hotel is adjacent to the train and bus station. We hired a car for this trip at Asturias Airport and the parking in Oviedo was very convenient. There is a public, 24 hour car park underneath the hotel and the hotel can offer a daily rate for parking (arranged at Reception on check-in). The recepton staff were friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast offered an adequate selection each morning. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and both the bedroom and bathroom were spacious and clean.
We would definitely stay there again.
