Really enjoy having Belgian waffles and eggs for breakfast. The front desk was friendly and helpful. In a previous review I commented on some lighting near the entry to the common area. It was very well lit this time, which was greatly appreciated. Price was great. Glad to have this Quality Inn in Hillsville!

But there was the aroma of old smoke and the perfume/cleaner to try and cover it up. I had to move my nicer clothing back into the car for the evening.

Everything needs a fresher look. In the morning, the only people at the checkout desk were three children. They were very pleasant but didn’t know when the adult was returning. Four of us just laid our keys down and left.

We had a jacuzzi suite for one night stay. Room was very large and comfortable. Hotel is located behind the Holiday inn Express and in a good value for an overnight stay.

This is a solid stay. April was a good time because the price was lower and was one of the factors in staying at this property. The room was nice, and we like having a refrigerator. As usual, husband was really happy with the waffle maker. If that wasn't there, my husband would be very unhappy! It's nice to have a choice of eggs, waffles, cereal, muffins, as well as a variety of beverages.
Unfortunately, the upstairs ice machine wasn't working. Since we've been at the property before, we knew where the downstairs one was, and it worked. Also, I did not like how dark the area is in the hallway by the upstairs ice machine. Please add light to the area! It made me uncomfortable walking there alone.
All-in-all, the location is convenient, the staff is pleasant, the breakfast is decent, and the price is right - especially certain times of year. :)

The breakfast was fresh and ready on time there was 2 kinds of cereal bagels 2 kinds in g muffins juice milk water waffles yogurt biscuits gravy eggs the second shift lady checked me in was great very friendly we had water damage at our house and had to get room last minute I was in and out in less than 10 min parking was great security camera well lite parking lot and the third shift front desk staff was just as awesome and helpful

The lady at the front desk was friendly. We waited 2 hours for our room to be available to check in. We watched as the room was supposed to be being cleaned but they made to beds with dirty linens and the guy was smoking in a non smoking room. He was flirting with the girl that was “cleaning” a little girl was taking out the trash and spraying chemicals in the bathroom. We didn’t stay we went to another hotel.

I found the staff to be very polite, friendly, and accommodating. The room was very clean and did not smell musty as other hotels I have been in as the room did not have a carpeted floor. There was plenty of parking and the grounds were clean.

The light went out above the bathroom sink . I called the front desk several times and no one answered.i went to the front desk and told them about the light and they did give a different room- a much bigger one. I had called the night before arriving to ask a question and no one answered. They did not have coffee and cookies when you arrive. Breakfast the first day was lame but the next day was better. There were people smoking outside their rooms- regular and something else. The walkways were covered in insects.

Breakfast the first day was fine, but sparse on Sunday. The bed was comfy and we loved having our dog with us, but the floor was so dirty that hubby’s feet turned black just walking barefoot from the bathroom to the bed.

This property was at a great price compared to other properties in the area. The lobby is large and clean. It doubles as the breakfast area in the morning. Since each room opens to the exterior of the building, parking was very convenient as you could park in front of your room. The room was clean and had all the necessities you would expect. I would recommend this Quality Inn for anyone who is looking for good value for their money.

This was an overnight stop after a long drive. Staff was nice, The room was clean and nice. Bed was comfy. The TV did not work. 1st no remote at all. went to the front desk twice, 2nd remote turned it on by no channels and no volume. Had I been there a full day this would have been an issue. it was midnight by the time i gave up on it and went to sleep. Overall a nice place for a stop over.

First we were given a room that was occupied. We opened the door w the room key and bags were on the bed with the lights on in the room. There was no AC in main lobby. The room walls were all splattered with something that maybe exploded on them - a brown liquid. Toilet paper was off the roll. Front desk didn’t even apologize for giving us a room that was occupied. Terrible.

We had stayed here a few years ago so I thought it would be a fine stop, but it's truly went downhill. We arrived really late due to traveling, once we got to our room I was truly disappointed. It was dirty. I'm not even sure the carpet had been swept in awhile, I found multiple things on the floor.... our AC was disgusting, full of dirt and I almost hated to run it. The room was musty upon entrance as I assume the AC hadn't been on for awhile. The floor in the bathroom was dirty, I even had to wipe up some things on the floor that was sticky. The walls had marks all over them..... The main lobby didn't have AC, there was a sign noting renovations as a apology but honestly I am not sure that's true. The pool was closed not that we would have used it anyway, but one more thing to avoid taking care of. The front desk people were friendly. The breakfast wasn't worth it. I was truly disappointed and it wasn't worth the price paid.

I was a little pissed when I got there and was informed my dogs were $25 a piece extra to stay there. There was no mention of any dog fees on the Hotels app I used. It just said dog friendly with nothing I could find about fees. Believe me I look throughly for that info every time I travel with the dogs!

First they price gouged us because the NC flood. This place was worse than a half torn down motel 6. They charged me $185 for 1 night. Second it was not clean at all. If we hadn’t been driving for hours already to find a room, it was like 12:30am. We were exhausted or no way I would have stayed.

Check in was great. Room seemed fine as we walked in. Until we got close to the bathroom. There was dirty towels hanging up, hair everywhere, tooth paste in the sink and soap still in the shower. There was one hand towel, no towels. I had to go to the office to get towels where I told the staff the bathroom wasnt clean and the dirty towels were left. She just rolled her eyes. The previous room keys were left as well. I questioned if the sheets had even been changed.

I can’t review somewhere that I was unable to stay at they did not let us know nor Check in due to an emergency services staying at the hotel. Tried call them several times to reach out to them I was told that they were working on refunds and I would recieve my money back. They said that the system was down and that since the manager was not there I could not get anything in writing
