Stayed at this lovely property before heading to Antarctica. The hotel was clean. The staff were lovely. The included Breakfast had variety and was tasty. The rooms are a bit on the small side but functional for our needs. The hotel was central to everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again.

The advertisement states free shuttle between airport and hotel and port and hotel yet the hotel could not arrange a shuttle from either the airport or to the port. There were repairs that needed to be done in the bathroom. Specifically the handle to the shower kept falling off and the toilet seat was loose. The showered handle never got fixed and I had to tighten the toilet seat myself.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel is located on a lively central street, which made it very easy to walk around Ushuaia. The room was clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was good. A pleasant stay overall.

The rooms were cleaned and staff are friendly. Breakfast is ok. The rooms were very warm and we could not make it cooler. There is not AC just the radiators to warm up the rooms. We left the window opened and closed the valve that was so supposed to turn off the heater but it didnt work right away. Location is good and walka distance to the downtown.

Hotel com ótimo custo-benefício. Perto do centro, há poucos minutos a pé de bons restaurantes. Tem a conveniência de ter o restaurante El Mercado há poucos metros, e um supermercado na esquina. Atendimento atencioso e o quarto bastante aconchegante e moderno.

Sweet little hotel out of the super touristy area of town but just a few minutes walk from it, with plenty of dining options along the way, and very close to the water's edge, parks and famous Ushuaia sign. But bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper, because if you get the front side of the hotel, you'll be woken up by locals on their motorcycles. Breakfasts were a mixture of European and North American, with something to please most.

This hotel is very clean and near a main shopping area as well as walking along the harbor. The only thing I did not like was that my room faced a busy street. Good view of the harbor but there were loud motorcycles until
Late at night. I had to use earplugs because I had to keep a window open. Room was a little warm when I got there. Remember they don’t need AC. Wish I had brought my portable fan. I was there in late February, early March. It still their summer but quite chilly out.

The property is located on the main shopping street (San Martin) and was conveniently located to the waterfront and touring operators, etc. There were plenty of options for dining nearby - all within walkable distance. A couple of issues had to do with: (1) loud motorcycles revving up each night that seemed to go on for several hours, as well as loud talking in the street below; (2) the fact that there is no air conditioning, which meant we had to open one of the (tiny) windows to try to get some airflow (since we visited in December which is summer in Ushuaia); (3) the elevator is pretty small and the three of us could not take it up together with our luggage...we had to do two trips.

The room was small, not enough storage space (kept everything in the suitcase), small poorly configured bathroom. Bed was firm. Water from shower and sink overflowing on the floor. Breakfast was horrible. Only the coffee was good. The room is not soundproofed so we could hear ALL the cars that drove by at all hours of the night. Sone racing and revving their engines at 2 am.When it rained we could hear every drop as it hit the tin roof. Only one s-l-o-w elevator that only took 2-3 persons at a time. The afternoon check in receptionist spoke no English. For the room rates they charge, I expect better.

A nice 3 star hotel.

It's a 3 star hotel.

What my wife and I most like was that all the employees were very friendly and they always have a nice smile on their face in order to help us out anytime.

Unfortunately, if you expect to use the bathtub in those pictures as the ads suggest, we must forget about it. You won't be allow to do it. We got very frustrated on that.

We checked in with a previously booked room, they made us pay significantly higher rate than what was booked. The rooms are very noisy and we could not get good sleep. There is no temperature control in the rooms, customer service was terrible, everything you ask the answer was a “No”. they wouldn’t even book taxi for us. The reception staff very extremely rude. They even charged us 5 dollars for a extra plastic key. I do not recommend this hotel.

Pros- in town, walking distance to all tourist excursion starting points, good breakfast, clean rooms

Cons- noisy at night if you have rooms facing the front, very little flexibility around check in and check out time.

front desk staff has obviously been given strong orders re - number of keys, glasses and other small things that can be given to guests - making it challenging at times.
If you are on a budget and the price is right, make the booking.

Located at the far end of the main thorough fare of San Martin, this a cute boutique hotel which is just outside the buzz. The hotel arranges for free airport pickup, which is nice. Breakfast is beyond rudimentary and complete with hot options and a variety of fruits. There are several good options to eat around, from the easy going El Mercado to the bright bakery-cafe of Ana & Juana and the buzzing neighborhood eatery of El Turco with a fat menu at sensible prices. Room rate is a little on the high end, particularly in Christmas time.

This property was not as advertised. It was advertised that they had an airport shuttle which they did not, they did call a \"taxi service\" which cost more than the city taxi. They advertised the has spa/ massage which they did not, they advised me to go down the street to look for a spa. Very disappointed in the place. The only thing good was the size of the room and the view of the bay.

Good hotel in downtown Ushuaia

A pretty good location downtown Ushuaia, close to coffee places, bakeries, restaurants and the pear. Good size room and bathroom, comfortable bedding but basic amenities. No kettle or cups, no fridge. A safe and heater. Their breakfast buffet offers a good selection for a nice start of the day. The team at the reception is nice and efficient, they will help you any way they can. The transfer from the airport to the hotel is a courtesy, you need to ask for it. For the return to the airport, a taxi will cost you about 260 to 300 Argentina Pesos. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. If you are a light sleeper the light isolation of the windows will let you hear the noise from the traffic as the hotel is on the main road.

Well they gave our prepaid room away and had to change our room the next day. They put us on the 4th floor with a great view. Problem was their heat was cranked to 90 and we had to open the windows to get any air and it's on a main street that is really noisy, so not much sleep. Breakfast was okay. The elevator broke and doing the stairs 4 floors up was a pain. The manager did offer to move us down and did get someone to carry our luggage up and down stairs so we didn't kill some one trying to slide it down the stairs.

Small hotel, located on the main avenue in Ushuaia. When we arrive, we have a very nice welcome from the staff of the front desk. But when we arrive at the room, is very, very small.
They tried to find a better (bigger) room (with 3 beds), but the difference wasn´t relevant.
After the chock of the first night, you are adapted, and beauty of the environment force you to forget the dimension of the room.
The breakfast is poor.

the staff was friendly, location was good, but we got a room off the street, and it's not the hotel's fault, BUT there was jackhammer drilling at 6am on sunday morning across the street for 4 hours, and loud music and screaming (and even a fist fight) until about 4am, so it wasn't a very restful sleep. plus there is no A/C, so we got very very hot and had to open the windows which only aggravated the noise situation. also, they really need to improve the wifi access in each room! it's out in the hall but doesn't reach very far.

My room is in 2/f facing Av. San Martin. Street lighting and noise from cars and people Clamour all the whole night until 5 a.m. If you want a quiet sleep, you must book the room with sea view.

Staffs in the hotel are friendly and helpful. I appreciate them accomodate my earlier breakfast request.

We spent one night Los Naranjos before heading to the Antarctic cruise. I booked a one-bed room but was assigned a 2-bed room. The room is next to the main street in Ushuaia and the noise of passing cars were so loud that I felt sleeping on the street. I have asked the receptionist to change room but was told that it is the last one. I didn't feel the receptionist was honest.

It is kind of difficult for me to write a review for this hotel, as due to overbooking (presumably on the hotel's part) I ended up at a different hotel altogether. However, I have no complaints against Los Naranjos either, as they arranged the transfer and booking to the other hotel (which from looking online appears to be a more expensive hotel, and the price difference was apparently absorbed by Los Naranjos; certainly I didn't have to pay anything more). So I have put all the ratings in the middle, since there is no N/A setting.

Pleasantly surprised at the boutique hotel. It was located very conveniently to all attractions. The only issue we had was our arrival was at 2:00 due to a delayed crossing of the ferry. The night clerk was quite rude and told us he had cancelled our room. It was prepaid so I threatened to camp out in the lobby if he did not find a replacement room. He was the only bad experience everyone else was excellent and they had a nice breakfast buffet.

DON'T STAY HERE!!!

I booked and paid for a double room for three nights which cost over $750AU. According to their websites all rooms have a view of the Beagle Canal or the mountains. My room had a view of a wall with some mountains you could just see over the top. I went to reception and asked if there was another room available. Also I had requested and paid for a double room with a double bed but had two single beds in my room. I was told there was no other room as this was the room for single persons. I said I had paid the same money as a double. He said it doesn't matter I am only one person so I get that room. Tomorrow someone would change it to make it a big bed. I also asked about luggage storage, he said they don't do it. I said their website says the do. He said: OK talk to someone else tomorrow. I've had better service staying in a backpackers and paying $25/night.

I stayed at Los Naranjos in early March with a group of friends before and after a trek near Ushuaia. The hotel had a great location, central to the town and right on the main street but far enough from the cruise port to reduce the bustle. The lobby and breakfast area are welcoming and immaculate, and the breakfast was excellent. Our rooms were average, fairly small but very clean. No air conditioning and it got pretty hot in there so we had to open the windows to sleep, and there was a lot of street noise, the only downside. The real standout for this hotel was the desk staff. They assisted with booking penguin tours, helped us with a requested room change (even sent a bucket of champagne because the couple hadn't liked their room right on the street), dealt cheerfully with many questions and curve-balls about our arrangements, and even ultimately threw in our return transfers to the airport for free. I have never had better service from a hotel anywhere. They also quickly responded afterwards to questions about charges to our credit cards (which turned out to be for the penguin tour). I would heartily recommend this hotel!

A 2-night stay to allow for hitches in travelling across the Pacific from Australia and to recover from getting there, I found Los Naranjos just what I needed. Literally 10 minutes by cab from inside front door of airport to reception desk - had no luck in getting hotel shuttle sorted before travelling! I had booked for twin share but travelled alone and was fortunate to be on 5th floor in large 3-bed room. Very comfortable bed, clean bathroom (bit on the nose with no S-bend to hand basin), warm room overlooking the bay. Noise from the main road below could be a factor for light sleepers - I just rolled over! Only thing missing was a kettle for a hot bedtime drink. 2nd night, night receptionist got us tea from the kitchen. Breakfast room great - 'full' breakfast actually Spanish style continental and more than adequate. LOVE the urn full of hot milk for coffee! Staff language issues not too severe with a phrase book, handled with a smile. At 'far' end of main shopping and tourist strip (San Martin), the walk to find eating houses etc all helps to avoid post-flight issues. Supermarket 50 m from front door, interesting memorial park down the hill on the main road median strip, a good spot to get a sense of the town layout, the ebb and flow of local activities as well as the spectacular view out to the Beagle Channel (and my Antarctic explorer ship as it berthed). Would highly recommend to anyone travelling through Ushuaia to the Antarctic.

Now for the downside. It was extremely noisy because closeness to street. We could hear the upstairs people. Also rooms were outside so it was inconvenient to get my luggage.

Great hotel and staff,

The hotel is located in the downtown, so great location. The staff was very nice and accommodating. They can change US dollars for peso, with a much better than official exchange rate. The rooms were clean and the wifi was good. The only complaint is that if you stay on a Friday or saturday night, get a room in the back, not one facing San Martin street, because the young people in the town on Friday and Saturday nights like to blast their music all night until dawn which was about 5am. I asked the staff to move me to another room and they were able to do so. My suggestion would be to ask for a room in the back when you book it, if on the weekends.

Helpful staff, nice enough hotel

I enjoyed my stay. This hotel is nice enough and the staff was helpful. A pretty typical place for this level of hotel: no fridge, microwave, or coffee/hot water maker for tea, continental breakfast offered. There is a music store next door and it is close to the main road through town, because of this the neighborhood is sometimes a bit noisy but not too bad.

A Central Boutique Hotel With Great Service

The Naranjos hotel is located at the entrance of the main commercial street of Ushuaia and at one block from a grocery store (same street). Very friendly staff and clean rooms make this well located budget hotel a very good choice.

Inexpensive hotel in center of town

Booked online, this hotel came in at the low end of rates for the downtown area. This may be a price only for the south annex, a small block overlooking the busy street below. While the room was comfortable with a low waterfront view, the street noise was substantial. If noise is a concern, getting a room in the central block would be important. The staff were very pleasant and physical location excellent. The front entrance is on the main commercial/tourist street, one short block off the waterfront. A taxi stand is located 75 m west of the hotel, next to a full service supermarket. It is best to walk that distance than to wait for a car to be called. Be prepared for a 1000 checkout time.
