The Entrance side has no balkonies, but inside our room, we had an inside balkony with two chairs and club table to enjoy the view to the mainland and the sea. Also a view to the parking and the thermal sources across.
Very clean hotel and friendly staff. The dinner with the half board was also tasty and we enjoyed the view to the sea. I can recommend half board, as there are not much other options on the island - unless you are willing to drive to the next village over the bridge.

My experience was so good, I slept well, The hotel is located in a corner of the La Toja Island, I liked the views. The only problem is that my Personal Computer was stolen from my room while I was dining in the cafeteria. I am waiting if my computer appears, I hope that.

The SPA and the massages was so good.

Nice hotel, needs some renovation, but it is comfortable, the staff is excellent, they even offer to give us a snack, to take to the plane because we live early in the morning and miss breakfast The view from my window was beautiful. The salty water in the pool was nice. The breakfast was excellent I have a great time.

Toja island it's a great natural environment and this hotel is a peaceful place for enjoy it. It's not new, it's not modern but rooms are in good conditions and really clean. The service, especially the front desk, was great and breakfast and meals excellent. The swimming pool area is nice which a amazing view.

Wannabe classy hotel with outdated facilities.

I'd really like to recommend this hotel. Unfortunately I found it very disappointing. I booked it through hotels.com as a last minute offer. At 120 euros per room (we were three guests and took 2 rooms), it wasn't exactly cheap for this area of Spain especially since hotel standards in Spain are usually very high. Be warned that when you get the offer you will be given a room on the top floor accessible only though a small separate lift. The floor most have been a smoking floor before because it smells. There are carpets everywhere and the safe is an old fashioned one with a key. Of course they make you pay a deposit for the key! It is the penthouse floor so views are limited. They also made us pay to use the spa every time we used it. Amazing at that price since the spa was the reason we went there in the first place. If we just wanted a room we could have done much better for that price. Staff were extremely pretentious and patronising but hilariously also rather cheap and very fake, almost comic. Clientele also quite pretentious.

Good hotel - little night life

The hotel is good, if you want to stay at a quiet place. Even there is a casino next door and a parking place in front of the window there was not really much noise to disturb. This might be different during high season. The price-quality ratio was excellent.

Fantastic location and very good service from all staff (especially Sergio at the front desk who really should be giving lessons in customer service to some of the others who work at reception). Hotel might be close to needing a bit of an update (the shelf beside the bed fell off and the carpet had a few marks) but overall very, very satisfied with the very large room and large double bed. The outside pool is great and the bar/cafe at the pool very handy.The restaurant and cafe have separate menus and also seating areas in the same dining room, which is more than a little odd - they really should just allow access to either menu wherever you sit (pool, restaurant or cafe) and let the customer decide.The spa is well worth a visit (although you do have to pay just to go to go and sit in their hot pools, which should be included in the hotel price). Carolina (at the Thalasso spa front desk) was very attentive in making spa/massage bookings. My massage was relaxing but a bit too gentle. The island of La Toja is an absolute jewel and should not be missed for a relaxing break and the bustling seaside town of O Grove is only 20 mins walk away. This hotel is a great place to stay and enjoy the area.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was extremely efficient and helpful with english translation. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. The room was impeccable each day and the appearance of the hotel was immaculate. We cannot say enough nice things about this place. We would highly recommend to all of our friends and family. This place and area of Spain is a well kept secret and we intend to share the secret with our loved ones. Our hats are off to the staff for a job well done!

Like a lot of seaside hotels the world over, this one may be resting slightly on laurels it earned in earlier days. It was clean and accommodating enough, certainly there were no major negatives. It's just that in general, hotels are continually modernizing, and in the future this hotel will probably need to update also, to meet evolving guest expectations.

The salt-water pool was a surprise, and (after some getting used to) a kick, (one hour's use is included.) A massage was available, and purchased. The weather was rainy, and there is not a lot \"to do\" on La Toja in the rain. A casino is nearby, but we don't gamble. We did go to Mass at the beautiful little shell church (a very short walk) and visited the soap factory store (also very close.) An evening meal at the ground-floor café was served by indifferent staff but was not bad.

Very good hotel in a very pleasant location

I visited this area to attend the O Grove seafood festival. La Toja is very conveniently located for O Grove being about a 20 minute walk away. Or a 5 minute drive - but a certain times of the day parking in O Grove can be a problem. The island is also a superb base from which to explore Galicia. The hotel is really very good with spacious and well furnished rooms. Cafe and restaurant offer varied menus and the food is very good. Staff are very friendly and helpful. I can recommend this hotel without hesitation

Overall a lovely experience. The reception team could not have been more courteous and helpful even with our pathetic grasp of Spanish language. They recommended restaurants and beaches, the whole establishment was quietly and proudly professional.
Rooms spotless, the breakfast buffet constantly refilled and a lovely location.

Fantastic!

This is a 4 star hotel with a 5 star feel - luxurious, peaceful, fantastic value for money, and boasts amazing views. We particularly appreciated the reasonable charges for the spa, room service, restaurants, bars etc, and the food and drink was of very good quality. My only slight frustration was that we were told that we could not have food until the restaurant opened at 9pm. (To be fair, I don't know if this is normal or it was just a one-off). We will definitely go back again, and sooner rather than later!

Una elección muy acertada

Un sitio perfecto para perderse. Tiene SPA y tratamientos pero no es un balneario. Tiene un restaurante nada desdeñable y en la piscina exterior puedes pedirte una cerveza (o no). El lugar es absolutamente privilegiado. Muy recomendable. Sería un 10 en todo si no fuera por el triste minibar vacío.

El ruido exactamente está localizado al menos en las canaletas de desagüe de lluvia q pasan por la habitación 402. Si llueve, y en Galicia es una constante, por las noches es un ruido continuo de corriente de agua en tubo de PVC.
Por lo demás todo bien.

Bueno... pero ruidoso. No te alojes en la planta 1

Fuimos a pasar unos días de total relax y en general se cumplieron nuestras expectativas si no fuera por el ruido. Nos asignaron una habitación en la planta 1, que es por supuesto la más proxima a la calle y más ruidosa. No entendimos muy bien por qué porque el hotel estaba bastante vacío y fácilmente nos podrían haber dado otra en las plantas menos ruidosas. La habitación daba a unos contenedores de basura que venían a descargar a las 8 de la mañana (!!) y que era imposible que no te despertara. A parte de eso, el mantenimiento de las zonas de jardín del hotel y del hotel próximo se realizaba en las horas de la siesta y era muy ruidoso también. Por otra parte el hotel tiene la rara costumbre (me paso la vida de hotel en hotel por mi trabajo y jamás he experimentado esto) de poner música en los pasillos de las plantas. El altavoz estaba justo al lado de la puerta de nuestra habitación, con lo que era difícil descansar... Por todo esto el ruido nos fastidió un poco nuestra estancia. A parte de esto la estancia estuvo bien; el desayuno es excelente, la comida y cena se puede hacer en un café bar que hay en el hotel con unos precios razonables (excepto los postres, que todos coincidimos en que tenían un precio ridículamente alto). También creemos que es hora de cambiar las cajas fuertes de las habitaciones. Funcionan con llave, tienes que pagar un depósito y son muuuy viejas... no pegan para nada en el.hotel

Excelente, desde o check-in até ao check-out. A amabilidade de todo o pessoal do hotel foi espectacular, no entanto quero destacar o Sr. Victor Conde, funcionário do restaurante, cuja simpatia ajudou ainda mais na avaliação que fiz do Hotel. Pequeno almoço muito bom. Um pequeno senão, mas que acaba por não influenciar a avaliação feita. Nunca me ocorreu ter que pagar a entrada na piscina interior.

En general, todo muy bien, personal amable, buena habitación, muy buen desayuno. Lo único que no me gustó ( y no es culpa del hotel, evidentemente ), fue que en 2 ocasiones estuve en la terraza que hay en la zona de la piscina, con la intención de desconectar con esas vistas, y las 2 veces había un grupo de personas que hablaban muy alto y me tuve que marchar al cabo de un rato. Por lo demás, es un hotel muy recomendable con buena relación calidad-precio.

Während die Lage und die Aussicht hervorragend sind, ist der Komfort auf den Zimmern verbesserungswürdig. Weder im Bad (defekter Ablauf im Waschbecken) noch in dem in die Jahre gekommenen Rest vom Zimmer kommt ein Gefühl von Komfort auf. Ein subjektiv mittelmäßiges Frühstücksbuffet und eine sehr bescheidene kulinarische Leistung beim Abendessen (bei Halbpension) runden einen durchwachsenen Eindruck ab. Der Spa-Bereich erschien uns für 12€ pro Stunde gemessen an der überschaubaren Größe nicht attraktiv genug zu sein.

Esperaba mas. Reserve dos habitaciones contiguas, y resulto que una estaba reformada y la otra no. El papel pintado de los cabeceros estaba medio despegado, el colchon con un muelle que cada vez que te movias te mataba y un cuarto de baño que sufria del paso de muchos clientes. El Spa, 10€ por una hora, lo mas pobre que he visto....una mini piscina con 8 chorros y otros 4 que no funcionaban.
El desayuno espectacular, cierto.
Por lo demas, no creo que vuelva, no me lleno.

Me parecio frio, y lo peor es que un hotel que se vende como spa, no da aceso al spa. Intentamos hacer reserva pero nos dijeron que habia que hacerla con semanas de anticipacion. La verdad es que nos quedamos desfraudados, y sabiendo esto no nos hubieramos quedado aqui. Un fraude.

I thought the hotel and service where cold. I have been here before but the worst part is that for a hotel that sells itself as a spa, were not allowed access to the spa, and were informed after check in that we had to reserve well in advance. Something we had not previously been informed. Really bad experience as we only had one night in vigo, four couples and could not even use the spa. Bad bad service.
