I reserved a room with a king bed. We checked in, the lady at the front desk didn't say anything. We go to our room and it had 2 queen beds. I called the front desk and she said they didn't have any king rooms, they were sold out. Judging by the amount of cars in the parking lot I believe she was lying. Didn't offer anything else, just apologized. I would have picked another hotel if I had known that.

Room was clean but could’ve been updated. Staff was friendly. Free breakfast was “you got the breakfast you paid for” however a better variety of options would’ve been better. I really had a personal problem with all the light from the hallway filtering into the room. I personally prefer a room to be pitch black when i sleep and this room was not. Overall, it was fine.

Definitely an older hotel, but it's renovated, the beds are comfortable, and there is a great restaurant just down the street called Mission BBQ. No airport shuttle, but it's not too far from TPA so Uber is a reasonable fare. Friendly front desk service.

I found the staff at the front desk to be friendly and helpful. The outside of the hotel looked clean and the same for the lobby. The carpet in the hallways was showing its age. The room was well-appointed and the bathroom was nice. Room was a bit musty (a common problem in Florida hotels) which was made worse by turning on the heat. I didn't care for the room interior decor. It was sorta \"cheap modern\" if that's a thing. I experienced repeated issues with the TV reception (perhaps due to airport traffic). The area immediately around the hotel was typical \"airport neighborhood\". There was a nice Arby's next door that had gone out of business. On the other side was a warehouse of some sort. On the other side of that was another out of business eatery. There was a newer Wawa a block down on the same side of the road. Driving around was a bit of a challenge because you can't turn directly into the property if heading West on Waters. There is a concrete median so you have to go down a block or two either direction if you want to enter unless you happen to be going East on Waters to start.

I gave the hotel a 4 because many of the issues were beyond the control of the local team. However, I do feel you could find a better place to stay in Oldsmar.

Had a long day driving and expecting to sleep in we’ll about 6:30 a dog started barking loudly
After about 40 minutes called the front desk and told there was nothing she could do.
Passed the room and occupants left hotel and dog remained in room.
Never staying in Hampton again. Will stick with Marriott.

Would stay here again!

You literally have a Wawa, PDQ and a Mission BBQ within walking distance! There are also (2) Dollar Trees, a Walmart, a Target and a Publix all on the same strip. The hotel speaks for itself, it's a Hampton Inn! Raymond James Stadium is literally 10 mins south. Just a heads-up, the airport is also 10-15 mins south too. Planes start flying over around 6 a.m.-ish. I didn't care it was a staycation for me and my girl! Definitely stay here if your heading to a Buccaneers game.
One last thing, there are taco stands and food trucks all around and try Foody's Restaurant.

Kitchen offering very limited. I am a Hilton regular and breakfast does very but this was extremely limited. The room was very nice and clean! The staff was very kind and accommodating. I understand that they will be getting a renovation soon. That’s good. It needs it.

There was no free airport shuttle to the hotel as the Hotels.com description stated (they have not offered this in 2 years). Nor is there an Arby’s on premises (there was one next door but now it’s an abandoned building). The loud air conditioner switching on and off all night didn’t allow for a good night’s rest. Room was clean & they held our luggage after our 1-night stay so we could visit the zoo. ZooTampa was a 15 minute drive from this hotel.

There was one though that refused my child an extra blanket. Things seemed to be falling apart. One elevator was broken and the other screamed and screeched and the emergency box remained open the entire time. Our a.c. unit leaked all over our the floor and got our stuff wet. The hallways were hot and some of the hallways had a musty odor. The dryer had to be ran 2 or 3 times to fully dry clothes and with $3 to dry that can get very expensive. The washer washes in hot water even when cold is selected. Ran out of half of half and only had the pumps. The oranges for breakfast were rotten. The side door would not work at times with our key card when we told the front desk they said it happens sometimes. The pool has a very sharp hole in the bottom that will cut someone if not careful. The alarm on the pool gate doesnt work and people were walking in from the side and might not have even been guests. The team member Jackie could use some coaching on customer etiquette.

The hallway was very musty like the air-conditioning wasn’t on. It had an unpleasant smell in the hallway. The call box in the elevator was open. Breakfast was good. The front desk was good and professional. The pillows were my main complaint. They were not firm pillows. They were very saggy no filling in the pillows.

Maybe at one point the hotel was good. But the room I stayed in look like I had mold the walls are cracked and look dirty. The hallway smelled. I usually stay in Hampton Inn, but this one was not as good as other ones I’ve stated.

The staff that I dealt with were friendly and helpful.The complimentary breakfast was very nice with cheese omelets and waffles. The attendant even went out of her way and made me a waffle and got me fresh milk, so that it was cold. Very nice service!

We arrived at your hotel yesterday morning and unfortunately had a disappointing experience at the front desk. The lady who assisted us was very rude and unhelpful. We kindly requested an early check-in, but she made us wait in the lobby from 9:00 AM until 1:30 PM without any clear communication or courtesy. She seemed distracted and was often on her personal phone.



This was especially disappointing because just six days ago, we stayed at the same hotel and had a wonderful experience. The staff member who helped us then was very professional—he even offered us complimentary water and made us feel welcome.



In contrast, this time we felt ignored. When we asked if we could store our luggage, our request was dismissed without any explanation.



We hope this feedback will help improve your service. We were truly looking forward to another pleasant stay, but sadly, this experience fell short of our expectations.

It all started wrong the moment we checked in. I waited at the front desk until the employee finished spending time on her phone in the lobby. After we settled into our room for the night, one of my children became sick causing us to call the front desk for help. However, their employee Yaminah could not be more bothered by our request for assistance. In fact she told us we would have to wait until the next shift showed up leaving us in a dirty room with 2 young children. Only after going to the reception desk in person were we thrown new room keys our way without any explanation or information on our new room. It gets better. I go the very next morning to ask to speak with the manager Robin Boodhan but was told they were too busy to speak with me and for me to send an email. I received their response 3 days after checking out stating they would provide Yaminah with a 2 week training program. Hilton should be ashamed of having these employees represent their brand when they can care less about sustaining the company's values.

This property needs some major updating.. but I will say, the people who are at the front desk, as well as management are FABULOUS. Customer service is top notch and will give this hotel a second go around once the renovations are completed that they are supposed to be going through soon and are in need of desperately.
