WORST HOTEL. If you want to sleep stay somewhere else. The walls are PAPER thin. You can hear every movement from your floor to the ones above and below. Bathroom had hair left on counter and a clean dish left on counter in bedroom. Says parking included but man at front desk tries to charge additional for it. You have to pay additional to use the pool and it closes at 7pm.

Fantastic location. Staff are amazing & helpful. Great service. Clean room. Easy access to other parts of Sicily from this hotel. ie. Taormina etc. Close to restaurants, shops, transport. Would highly recommend this hotel. I rate it 10 out of 10.

We booked this room because it had a four star rating and free wifi. First of all, the front entrance was difficult to find—the sign is on one side, where there IS no door, but you have to walk the opposite way much further to get there. When we checked in, they could not find our reservation. We got up to our room which was very smelly, opened up the windows and had a gorgeous view. But the patio was too dirty to walk on without shoes, and the floor inside was equally as dirty. The sink placement only allowed the bathroom door to open 2/3 of the way. The extremely tight bathroom also had a bidet, but not really room for it so the bidet was placed in front of the shower door. A towel was laying over the shower drain which I picked up, only to discover it was keeping the sewer smells from drifting out. The internet did not work so we went to the hotel lounge. Still did not work. We inquired at the front desk and were told the internet does not really work here, especially past the second floor. But it’s a four star hotel—the girl just shrugged her shoulders and turned away. Unbelievable. Old, needs refurbishing BADLY—do not stay here.

Terrible hotel. The air conditioner in the toom did not work and it was over 100 degrees. We asked front desk and the representative was new, first day and couldnt help us. The second day thry sent a technicisn to fix it. We were told it was working fine and assured all was fine. Got to our room that night still hot and not working. We asked to be switched to another room and they refused. We asked for a fan and told it was for concierge only snd it was more important that they were comfortable. My uncle (franco vadala) used to work for tourism dept snd had to get involved. Finally last night we were given a different room. Expedia should do their members a service and remove them from their site.

Unhelpful reception staff with no empathy and no wish to help !
We were visiting for a wedding and required an iron. The only 1 in the hotel was broken and they made no move to replace or help the situation.
Finally, after a 'discussion' they agreed to have house keeping iron 2 shirts which they were going to charge for until a further 'discussion'.

Faceless hotel with no personality

While our room was clean and had a great view of the beach, the only real plus for this hotel was its (limited) car parking right at the front. When we enquired about getting a light meal when the weather turned stormy, we were told we had needed to book for a table that morning. The hotel appeared to be frequented by tour groups, so not at all an enjoyable space.

The title says it all. Otherwise expect an old hotel, and depending on your room location, the outside noise can be frustrating. I haven't tried the food despite spotting a daily buffet with a wide local variety in the main restaurant. good for families with children.

Disappointing

Noisy part of the beach to stay at night, main roads on either side, booming music from passing cars after midnight- take earplugs. Hotel caters to coach tours who book their tourists here for a few days. Beds were comfy and soft, fridge was working and empty, rooms big, shower was tiny! Cleanliness fine, some days beds were just made up so sand from the day before would still be there the next night. No glasses in the room to have a drink. The breakfast was sad - all the basic European choices are there but the quality is not. Tinned peaches and old bruised pears or bananas in a country where fresh fruit is plentiful? Watered down juice so it tastes more like squash. No coffee machines (just a flask of nasty tasting coffee on the table) no fresh espresso unless you order and pay for it separately. The service in the restaurant was also poor. You walk in and unless it's early you'll find that the tables are not made up so you have a choice of sitting on dirty tables or ones with just tablecloths on and then you find a waiter to help, they will then rush around you to set it up. That's if it's not reserved, which you won't know is the case until a waiter rushes over to tell you off - you can sit anywhere but not on a reserved table. No-one told me how to reserve a table or how to identify one that is reserved! The chef working the egg cooking counter was grumpy, rude or indifferent, depending on the day.The front desk staff are great however and the views are lovely at night

It was fine for a few nights. Nice view of the water and great balcony. The rooms were ok. There was no private beach with the hotel and the chairs rental was expensive. But the location was good and near Taormina!

Cattle Car Crowd - Expensive Internet Access

In short, we wouldn't go back.
Noisy. This hotel is mainly used by European tour groups so there is little personal attention. The breakfast buffet is ample, but it is of lower quality food. We had a room next to the stairwell on the second (3rd U.S.) floor and the sound came up the stairwell from the ground floor on the metal girders and was annoying in our room. The room was gaily decorated, but there was plenty of knocked about paint visible. Because of the noise, room rate and high internet charges after 2 days we ended up moving to another hotel for an additional 6 days.

Internet. We had tried to find out about the internet access before going there but I didn't see any info on the hotel website. When we got there I needed to do emails and some work and was shocked to find the fee for wireless access was the highest we have ever seen, so high as to make it worth while to find an internet cafe down the street. The clerk was embarrassed about the fee and said because it is so high almost no one uses it. The manager said it was beyond his control. Because I complained the manager did offer to let me use a desktop in the back office.

Parking. If you have a car, parking can be a problem as it is only street parking with 10 or so spots reserved for the entire hotel.

BEST LOCATED HOTEL IN GIARDINI NAXOS

Hotel is located almost on the sandy beach and has fantastic views of Giardini Naxos, Taormina and on a clear day Mount Etna. Condition of room / front of property could do with a lick of paint, but restaurant and bar area's very well nice. We had seven days Bed & Breakfast, Breakfast was very good with plenty of choices.

Great location, ok service.

The hotel is rated as 4 star, however according to the services, the maintainance and the quality is rather 3 star.
The spa facilities were not available due to refurbishments, so we could not try them.
The location was perfect, great beach excess, from the balcony superb view.
Good size room with en-suite, only shower, caused trouble with our little one's bath time. They were the only place during are stay, whom provided the baby cot (bed) for free.
Free parking space are very limited apprx. 7 spaces for 200+ rooms!
Reception staff were not too friendly, but the housekeepers were great and kind. The waiters could not wait to see your back.
The restaurant could not provide baby high chair and the breakfast was boring for 6 days. We did not try other meals, so can't comment on those. Internet was payable, which is normally free at this standards.

This hotel is located right on the ocean and we were given a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. It is a large room and appeared clean. The breakfast was included and was very good. The only draw back was the mattresses. I could feel the springs on the bed. Otherwise everyting was great. Parking was free.

Vi hade bokat 2st trippelrum.Vi skulle bo 2 pers per rum ,då chansade de att ge oss 2 dubbelrum.Vi påtalade att vi betalt trippeltum efter vi sett rummen och då fick vi rätta rummen.
Rent hotell ,trevliga städerskor.1 Jättetrevlig man som sprang runt o servade o skojade vid frukost,inte jättestort utbud men helt OK.
Liten kyl utan kylfack.Någon i personalen gav oss is,några ej.Vi fick inte ta större glas upp på rummen,fast det fanns 2 mindre glas i badrummet.Den ena i servicepersonalen/baren är direkt otrevlig , vi kunde låna karaff is o glas för serviceavgift 15 euro.
Strandparasoll o 2 solstolar 30-35 euro per dag ,kunde man köpa i receptionen med rabatt.Jämna pengar kontant,beroende på vem som stod i receptionen och orkade ge tillbaka,slutade ofta med att vi gick direkt till stranden oc betalade där för att slippa sura miner i receptionen.
Dagen innan vi skulle hem ,pratade vi med en trevlig i receptionen undrade vi om vi kunde ha väskorna kvar och någonstans att duscha ,utcheckning kl 10 ,vi skulle ge oss av kl 14:30.
Det var inga problem,vi skulle få nya handdukar o duscha i källaren.Vi blev förvånade att det skulle gå smidigt med något på detta hotel.Naturligtvis gick det absolut inte smidigt,när vi bad om handdukar stod ju den väldigt otrevliga i receptionen och tyckte att vi skulle behållt handukarna från rummet vi checkade ut,när vi sa att vi blev lovade dagen innan ,kunde vi få 1 handduk till 4 personer.Efter irritation tog receptionisten fram 4 till

Tæt på stranden. Hyggelig by. Hotellet er ok. Vores aircondition virkede ikke. Hotellet tændte for det i receptionen, men det stoppede kort efter. Hver gang blev vi affærdiget i teceptionen. Jeg spurgte, om de ikke kunne gøre noget, men det blev afvist. Det viste sig, at der var en meget lille knap på oversiden af anlægget, der skulle aktiveres. Det kunne have givet 2 nætters fuld søvn at vide det. Den ene elevator gik i stykker og jammede den anden. Igen blev man afvist med, at man ikke kunne gøre noget. Et skilt kunne have hjulpet. Morgenmaden er ok.

Deluso da una struttura collocata in un punto strategico, non offre possibilità di parcheggio all'ospite tranne che a pagamento. Un esperienza veramente terribile dopo trevore di viaggio in macchina sentirmi dire non c'è parcheggio. Non consiglirei questa struttura a nessuno.

Struttura visitata per la prima volta, risale agli anni 80 e nonostante il tempo e' sempre affascinante sia per la vista che le camere. per essere un 4 stelle gli valgono tutte. ottima posizione di fonte al mare, vista mozzafiato su taormina e il porto, posizione strabiliante. personale eccellente ,gentile e accogliente. sin dal ns arrivo ci hanno messo a ns agio facendoci sentire a casa propria. ottime ed abbondanti colazioni sevite dal grande Fabrizio che con la sua loquacita' ed esperienza nel settore ci ha dato un paio di dritte sui ristoranti e locali dove degustare le prelibatezze locali. ci torneremo senz'altro appena possibile.

ho prenotato una matrimoniale uso singola con supplemento, al mio arrivo mi ritrovo una singola con letto alla francese, non era quello che avevo prenotato con tanto di supplemento,ho chiesto una camera matrimoniale e ho dovuto pagare un ulteriore supplemento. La camera priva di bidet, bagno cieco con ventola non funzionante e priva di qualsiasi manutenzione, privo di balcone e senza la possibilità di stendere un costume. La colazione è stata priva di qualità. Nessun rapporto qualità prezzo VOGLIO RICORDARVI CHE E' UN ALBERGO A 4 STELLE

1 la notte prima delle 3 non si dorme perché il lido ha tutte discoteche che scassano l’anima fino a tardi
2 camera vista mare molto vecchia e con vetro del bagno crepato in più punti, mancanza del bidet, porta sapone in doccia arrugginito, doccia fatiscente, scarsa pulizia della camera (polvere e sabbia), balconcino visibilmente da riverniciare
3 personale dell’hotel quasi mai visibile al bancone, sempre con aria molto scocciata, quando domandi qualcosa quasi mai sanno rispondere
4 quando si segnalano schiamazzi sul piano non sanno che fare
5 le pulizie vengono fatte con male e con molta calma
6 frigo bar vuoto
7 ascensore per quelle poche volte che funziona è molto ballerino
8 assenza di parcheggio che ti costringe ad usare taxi o Ncc perché la loro navetta costa più di un NCC. Loro trasporto 90 euro Ncc trovato su internet 70 euro...fate voi.
9 aria condizionata inesistente, nonostante la segnalazione non è stato fatto nulla
10 Wifi fermo
11 tassa di soggiorno pagata subito al momento dell’arrivo (cosa molto bizzarra) forse per paura che non viene pagata
12 richiedo la fattura del pagamento del nostro soggiorno e casualmente dopo una settimana ancora non era pronta
13 il pagamento della spiaggia convenzionata se non si possiedono i soldi precisi del costo non ti forniscono il tagliando

1 Convenzione con la spiaggia di fronte a 16 euro

Vacanza mordi e fuggi ' favolosa\"

Splendido weekend presso lo Sporting Baia Hotel di Giardini. Ottima posizione Specie dalle camere vista mare si può godere di un paesaggio mozzafiato. Personale competente, gentilissimo e molto accogliente. Colazione a buffet fresca e abbondante. Camere pulite specie i servizi igienici.

Siamo andati via subito, fortunatamente ho trovato un’altra sistemazione anche se le vacanze sono costate il doppio perché ho pagato due hotel. L’hotel è in condizioni pessime, purtroppo mi sono fidato di Expedia. Così si rovinano le vacanze dei clienti. Mai più.

Mobili anni 50, bagno da ristrutturare.,arredi vecchi,dotazioni bagno misere.. Frigo bar vuoto neanche una bottiglia d acqua Colazione ricca , ma caffe e cappuccino con macchinetta, altrimenti a pagamento. È un 3 stelle volendo essere generosi.

L’albergo è di fronte al mare per cui si può accedere facilmente alla spiaggia, nelle vicinanze sono presenti moltissimi locali per il pranzo o la cena. La colazione in albergo è molto ricca e fresca.

Punto di riferimento di giardini naxos

Ottima la sua posizione, abbiamo soggiornato in 2 per due notti, le camere necessitano di una ristrutturata ma quelle al Quinto piano con vista mare e terrazzo, offrono uno spettacolo impagabile... Aria condizionata , tv, frigo in camera perfettamente funzionanti... Bagno un po' piccolo con doccia... Colazione ricca e completa di dolce e salato... Personale numeroso e attento... Disponibilità, su prenotazione, di posteggio auto non custodito davanti l hotel... Ritornerò sicuramente in questa struttura

camera accogliente e pulita personale gentile e professionale non abbiamo fatto in tempo a segnalare un problema con l'aria condizionata che il tecnico era già al lavoro, la colazione è ricca e abbondante c'è una vasta scelta sia dolce che salata e tutto molto buono, ma la cosa che mi ha piacevolmente colpito è la rapidità e organizzazione del personale, tempo di fare colazione e la camera era sistemata pulita e profumata.
Lo consiglio vivamente perché noi siamo stati benissimo.

vieles gut, aber der ohnehin kleine Pool nur gegen Berechnung, Frühstück unter meiner Schmerzgrenze, Instantkaffee, Tische nicht sauber und werden nicht neu eingedeckt, Kellner verweigert ausdrücklich und unfreundlich Glas statt Plastikbecher für Wasser, Zimmerreinigung gut, Terrassen reichlich und tolle Aussicht.

Comodo al mare, bella vista sulle spiagge e sulla passeggiata.
Il personale della reception è competente e gentile.
La nostra stanza era piccola ma col balconcino e arredata piacevolmente.
Il bagno aveva qualche difetto perché i servizi non sono nuovi.

Bellissimo il posto la zona è tutto.. tutto vicino ristoranti bar lido , davvero un bel posto hotel curato e pulito stanze in ordine e vista sul mare grandiosa.. ci ritornerò sirlcursmente per un relax di coppia

Ottima posizione e SPA

Ottima la posizione, sul mare, molto gradevole la SPA, con un personale qualificato e gentile, hotel tutto sommato accettabile. Unico neo l'arredamento datato, fuori moda e scadente.

albergo definito quattro stelle ma ne dimostra due+, l'ultima ristrutturazione risale a più di 20 anni credo,
il wi-Fi inesistente in tutte le camere. Ho prenotato tre doppie e me ne hanno assegnato due e una singola piccolissima con con letto francese distribuite su tre piani diversi. La colazione sprovvista di alimenti per le intolleranze al latte e lattosio e alla recepcion personale poco garbato e poco propenso a risolvere i problemi. L'unica no5ta positiva la posizione dell'hotel e la vista mozzafiato sulla spiaggia dalla terrazza.

Bella vacanza.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo ottimo. Bagno un pò piccolo, camera gradevole e pulita. Buona la colazione, non posso giudicare la cucina in quanto non abbiamo cenato. Staff gentile e disponibile.
