I would never stay here again. My daughter and I were on vacation together.
-Manager & dining manager are so unfriendly, like they hate their job and people.
-If you don't buy half-board, you are treated like you are doing something wrong. The food wasn't good anyway. We ate there out of desperation 1 night.
-They nickle and dime you for everything! Beach towls were 3 euros each.
-Electricity was shut off for hours causing us to not be able to use wifi or hair dryer, curiling iron, etc. to get ready for the day.
-Ordered a taxi through the hotel the day before we were leaving to get us back to the airport and it wasn't done. I checked in the morning, thank goodness, and another was ordered....supposedly. That one never came either and they put us in someone else's taxi.
-Just terrible service and attitudes.
-I asked for an iron and they snapped at me saying for safety reasons, they don't have irons in the room and expensive laundry service only. There has not been a hotel I've stayed at that doesn't have an iron in the room.
This is FAR from a resort that they say they are. SO FAR FROM IT. I would never go back. Horrible.

Beautiful cove

We stayed here in Marinella after a week in Pittulongu.
This hotel is very traditional with a fabulous friendly feel.
Swimming pool large, although in our 3day stay we went to the beach each day.
The easy path walk with a very small wooden bridge was less then 10minutes.
A shame the restaurants on the beach closed at 5.30pm for food.
Not much for choice in Marinella, tried the Trattoria in the small port at awful, they clearly like to make the English unwelcome!
Hotel for food was ok & the salad bar was included which was nice.
3 days far enough in this beautiful cove.
Blu beach bar funky, pricey but the music could be heard on a he beach which was great.

Nice location, heartless restaurant manager

We did not book full board but failed to realize we would be treated as second class citizens because of this. Upon checkin were misled into thinking we would be able to eat dinner there but were later told they couldn't squeeze 2 people into their dinner service so we had to go out into the pouring rain to search for dinner. It was the same for breakfast the next morning, later we were told we could come for breakfast but only atfer 9:00 but it was 35 Euro a person and all we wanted was a croissant and a coffee. We went to the restaurant on the beach where we had 2 croissants 2 cappacinos and a fresh OJ for 13 euro (saved 57 Euro with that )

Positives: The staff were very professional and I'd rate them as excellent, particularly the front desk staff. They helped us with a travel reservation issue with Alitalia and went above and beyond to help us. When we learned that our booking wasn't what we thought we booked (turns out it was our booking mistake, not the hotels), they were willing to give us a lower rate deal for the 2nd room. Also, when we had to cut our stay short by a night because of our travel issue with Alitalia, they were willing to effectively give us a credit through our ancillary charges. Gabriella and her staff were very good! The hotel is well kept, in a good location (5 min walk to the beach), has a nice pool, rooms were clean and nice, but small. The A/C was a bonus as it was hot when we were there.

Areas for improvement: The hotel is a bit \"dated\" and could definitely use updating. Dinner at the \"on premises\" restaurant was mediocre at best and was of a lesser quality and offering than were were expecting. For the value, it wasn't a bad option for us.

Our third time here: it's a bit pricey but we're already talking about going back next year. Great location, good evening meals, charming staff, always very clean and fabulous pool. We quite like the aging decor but realise it is not to everyone's taste. Wi fi comes and goes depending on where you are on the site.

Terrible don't stay here

Beds are the WORST! We had a terrible sleep. The front desk staff were very rude and always seemed annoyed when we asked for help or recommendations. This was very overpriced.

Come prepared to pay extra for everything! You have to pay for towels, umbrellas, and chairs! For over 300 CAD per night, this felt like a high end hostel. Air Bnb had villas in the area. Just rent a car and visit the beach as it is publically accesssible!

Good location (being on one of best beaches I have ever swum on anywhere in the Med), beautiful grounds, very clean, a proper swimming pool, varied and plentiful food, and a staff team who were highly efficient and friendly.

The decor is a bit quirky. There are lots of stencilled walls and ceilings with faded and somewhat random prints of 18th and 19th Century British sailing ships. At least this made a change from the bland shades of grey that seems to characterise lots of hotel chains.

Check-in was find, but check-out was slow (as there were several guests leaving at once, but only one person on the desk and the card machine was unreliable. She was clearly doing her best under difficult circumstances and was suitably apologetic). It didn't matter to me as I had plenty of time, but it would have been a problem had my circumstances been different.

Lovely location, peaceful and relaxing.

Lovely setting from which to enjoy the beach and explore the island generally. Superb friendly and helpful staff. If you like Italian food the definitely have evening meals which were delicious every night of the week.

Summer 2015 Holiday in Sardinia

Great location (10 min walk from the beach). Hotel is a bit run down but overall was a very pleasant stay. Mixed feelings towards staff at reception (not so helpful or polite) but all staff at restaurant/bar was amazing. Food was great, although a bit expensive if bought outside half-board. Nice swimming pool. If you don't speak Italian it might be an slight issue to communicate with staff...

Very nice hotel. Great room with excellent Aircon and shower.

Staff were great and friendly. Especially Alberto who made an extra effort with us.

The beach also very nice with the private area and dedicated sun loungers and parasols.

Local shop and cash machine is a 5-10 min walk.

This hotel is very outdated. The mattress left the side of my thighs bruised due to the springs in the mattress.. Not even exaggerating. The customer service was below average, apart from giving you help on directions, no one went out of their way for any other requests and the food, below average also. The \"free wifi\".. Well, there's a catch, we noticed that after midnight we could never connect to wifi.. Everyone we spoke to at reception about it, the response was \"oh we will call the technician tomorrow\". We heard that response for 5 days straight. We knew for a fact they deactivated it after a certain time but didn't want to admit it. \"Airport transportation\" on hotels.com website does NOT mean airport transfer. The hotel does not offer this service even though it's listed under \"hotel facilities\". You will need to either catch a taxi (cost us €43) or catch a train/bus to Olbia then another bus or taxi to hotel. \"Digital Channels\".. Yes!!!! Only one channel in English and it's the BBC news.. Not that you're there to watch TV but the option would be nice! The only positive thing they offered at the hotel was a pass to their private access beach which give you chairs and an umbrella for free, the beach there is beautiful but that's about it on the positive side. I'd advise you to stay elsewhere otherwise.

The staff was exceptional and very professional especially Elena Christian and Osumeni at the front desk. The dining room staff were very friendly and nice especially Sabrina. The staff are an asset to this hotel.

Charmigt rum nära havet

Väldigt trevligt och charmigt hotell med en stor pool med vakt och nära till havet, då hotellet har en egen stig bort. Däremot har hotellet inga egna solstolar på stranden, utan man får rabatt.

Vid första frukosten får man reda på sitt bord, så man har samma bord alla dagar, vilket kan vara en fördel.

Jag hade missat lägga till frukost när jag bokade, så kolla extra noga, men det var inte värre än att vi la till det vid incheckning.

Trist hotel. Hotels.com var heller ikke til meget hjælp. Værelserne trætte og slidte. Restauranten serverede kedelig aftensmad. Morgenmaden skulle indtages i restauranten, det var strengt forbudt at tage den med ud på terrassen, selvom der var masser af plads. Restauranten var oplyst af utallige sparepærer, så ingen hygge eller stemning. Generelt følte vi os ikke rigtig velkomne.
Beliggenheden er ikke på stranden, og 300 m er heller ikke tæt på stranden.
24 euro om dagen for parasol og solstole er dælme dyrt, og burde være inkluderet i prisen. Personalet i receptionen og baren var søde, men det opvejer ikke en følelse af et skidt ophold.

Hôtel moyenne gamme

Hôtel simple avec un bon accueil professionnel. Les serveurs au restaurant sont souriants ainsi qu'à l accueil. La décoration est vieillotte mais propre. Chambres impeccables avec une bonne literie.
Le parking n est pas pratique avec une poussette. Le prix est plutôt cher pour un hôtel correct sans plus.

Ottimo il servizio ristorazione con staff efficiente, cordiale ed attento. Impeccabile il Servizio di pulizia con personale affidabile. Informatevi, per tempo, dettagliatamente sulla camera che vi verrà assegnata, onde evitare di incappare in talune da tugurio con bagno adiacente al letto, doccia claustrofobica, tanfo di muffa ed odore di scarico (nonostante la somma considerevole versata), poiché ve ne son altre spaziose e più confortevoli.

Lovely hotel 5 minutes from the beach

I found this hotel to be absolutely lovely. The room was nice and clean, it has a wonderful garden, the pool is big and great for swimming, the staff are amazing, very kind and helpful. I was a bit scared after reading reviews that complained about the bed comfort and the noise but I really slept well, the bed was comfortable and it was pretty quiet overall. The only thing that could be significantly improved is the restaurant management. They seem to be understaffed so sometimes one could wait more than 10 minutes to get served at the bar. Instead of having a bar tender, they have waiters from the restaurant covering for the bar as well. The guys are doing their best but they are simply overwhelemed. Also, hotel guests who haven't booked half-board cannot have dinner at the hotel before 9 p.m., when the dinner for those who booked half-board has been finished. I was told the restaurant was fully booked so I imagine the restaurant capacity is lower than the one of the hotel, which is really strange. No idea what would they do if the hotel was fully booked and everyone opted for half-board?! Also, the bar has none of the local specialites such as crema di cafe or granita and the staff in the restaurant seem to be treated poorly even though they are doing an amazing job. Otherwise, everything was perfect, I really enjoyed my stay. For diving excurisons, I reccomend the Atlantica Boat in Porto Marana (10 mins walk) and for visiting La Maddalena, the reception staff can advise.

In die Jahre gekommenes Hotel

Leider ist der Zustand des Hotels ziemlich veraltet. Das betrifft vor allem die sanitären Anlagen im Zimmer. Die Lüftung und die Spülung machten einen ohrenbetäubenden Lärm. Die Wasserqualität war ausgesprochen schlecht! Es hatte eine gelblich-braune Farbe und einen starken Chlorgeschmack.
Das Hotel roch muffig; zerschlissene Teppiche und gesprungene Bodenfliesen müssten dringend ausgewechselt werden. Der Pool war sehr gepflegt mit einer guten Wasserqualität. Leider waren einige der Liegen ziemlich kaputt. Das Personal war insgesamt sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der kurze Weg zum Strand könnte ausgebessert werden; die hoteleigenen Liegen und Schirme am Strand sind überteuert. Die Abendunterhaltung war für unseren Geschmack etwas dürftig; eine 1-Mann Musikunterhaltung welche jeden Abend die gleichen Songs spielt.... In der Nähe gibt es eine Pizzeria, einen Kiosk, einen Mercato und eine Gelateria. Einen typischen italienischen Bazar sucht man vergeblich.

Buon hotel vicinissimo alla spiaggia

Bell'hotel attaccato alla bellissima spiaggia di Marinella raggiungibile a piedi ad appena 300 metri. Camera ok ma poco insonorizzate verso il corridoio. Staff molto cortese bella e zona piscina. Da migliorare il menù della cena ( piatti poco elaborati).
Nel complesso da consigliare!

dall'anno scorso soggiorno notevolmente peggiorato,scelto camera vista mare,piccolissima,bagno minuscolo,pagata piu cara della normale ma notevolmente peggio,inoltre è stato tolto il servizio spiaggia ombrellone e lettini ora a pagamento,per il prezzo pagato.....si trova di meglio, ha perso una stella secondo mè.

Ruhiges Hotel mitten in der Natur, mit eigenem Strand (auch in der ersten Augustwoche genug Platz für alle), 5 Min zu Fuss von Bahnstation (Linie Golfo Aranci - Olbia - Cagliari), 15 Gehminuten von Einkaufsläden und Restaurants.

Mooi hotel in prachtige omgeving. Uitgebreid en zeer verzorgd ontbijtbuffet waar de warme drankjes zoals thee en cappuchino of latte machiatto speciaal voor je bereid werden.
Zwembad wel vrij koud. Via wandelpad vanuit zwembad liep je naar het achtergelegen strand. Groot ruim zandstrand. Helaas waren de zonnebedden niet inbegrepen bij het resort.
