My daugher and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. We were staying at the hotel for 3 nights for my friend's wedding. The service was good and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was lovely. I would have loved some Turkish coffee though.
My only complaint is the air conditioning. First of all I was told that it wasn't switched on in the hotel. By the third day, it was switched on but not very efficient. As a cold blooded English person, it was a bit uncomfortable at times.

MORE LIKE A THREE STAR HOTEL!
we booked the hotel for a ten night non-refundable stay before we received confirmation from work. It turned our arrival had to be delayed by three days. We tried hard to get Midi Hotel to change the date and they adamantly refused. So we requested at least a late check in. After a lot of discussions they agreed. We checked in three days later. We assumed that they would honor the 10 night payment we made and allow us to stay for 10 nights, but after 7 nights they told us that if we wanted to stay for another three nights we would have to pay for the room. Given that the Hotel was a total disappointment we decided to change to another hotel. We left the hotel and spent the additional three nights at the Swissotel not far from this hotel and for slightly more money we had great service and a true five star hotel.

Luxory hotel above the city
We spent 2 nights in Hotel Midi and it was exceptional. The hotel itself can be found on a hill above the city and the view on the city was spectacular. Every room has its own bult-in air condition system, beatiful bathroom with bathtub (not with shower cabin) and huge living room with comfortable bed. The hotel have a really good restaurant and a wellness department with sauna, steam cabin and fitness room. The breakfast (what's included in the price) was delicious and you can choose from a wide variety of different foods.

I liked this hotel overall. I booked this hotel because the description mentioned a room with balcony and view of Ankara. The hotel does not have balconies at all. I complained about false advertisement and they upgraded me to an executive room to compensate for the balcony view. I was quite happy with the big room, comfortable bed, and the view. Breakfast was great. Not the friendliest staff, however. It is in a residential area close to many embassies, but far from the city center and not accessible with public transportation.

This hotel was presented to me as a 4.5 Star hotel. It can be rated between 2 and 2.5. This hotel does NOT even have a proper curtain to blind the strong sunrise in the morning. You SIMPLY CAN NOT sleep after 5am. Bathroom is very small. The furniture is very cheap.

The area is mainly residential with some nice restaurants and cafes, and some smaller shops. Pleasant to walk, friendly people in the shops and cafes around. Close to embassies. Pleasant location.

Lovely hotel on the edge of the embassy district
The hotel is very pleasant if a little souless. Good if you have business in that part of the city but not good if you want to be in the centre of the city. Staff are helpful and speak some English. Meals and breakfast is quite expensive but there are a number of corner shops, cafes and eating places nearby. The rooms are very comfortable but I would have liked a film channel on the TV as the only Englishh channel was the news.

Comfortable and clean
I have stayed at many of the higher rated hotels in Ankara, but this wasn't a favorite of mine. The pros: It's convenient, comfortable and fairly clean. The hotel staff is nice enough and room service was prompt. Food was ok too. Free wireless internet (but poor signal). The cons: The rooms could use a little work. My \"double\" room for my fiance and I consisted of 2 super twin beds pushed together to create MAYBE a queen. On the bed was just a fitted sheet and a down comforter in an open duvet cover that was way too small for the bed. So it didn't cover my fiance and I and there was no sheet. The room didn't have a coffee pot. I had to pay 10 lira every day to get coffee or tea at the hotel. The description also states there are balconies. This is true, but only on the inside. There are no balconies for any of the rooms with access to the outside. Then the surprise at checkout that I needed to pay for an \"extra\" person in my room at the tune of 90 eruos. Also, it's quite noisy at the hotel. Trash trucks outside picking up trash late nights, 1-2 tour buses coming and going early, and cars honking their horns non stop (I guess this a common thing for Turkey). But the hotel walls don't do much to keep the noise out, even with the windows closed.
Overall the Hotel Midi is a decent place to stay, but there are other large chain hotels that offer a lot more and don't charge for an extra person. I can't say no one should stay here, but I myself wouldn't go back.

Bazı tektük denk gelen havlular eski ve yıpranmış olsa da çok iyi temizlediği için hem koku olarak iyi hem de bembeyaz sakız gibi lekesizlerdi. Genel oda temizliği de oldukça iyiydi. Otelin manzarası Ankaraya hakim ve Anıtkabiri net olarak gören bir manzara. Otelin tek eksik yanı sabah kahvaltısı oldukça kötü ve fakir.
