The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel right at home. Love the location in Cala Gone with plenty of parking and only 10-12 min walk to the center and port.

Parking was extremely easy and stress free and walk to the center of the town was just 15-20 minutes. Staff was super kind, even packed a great breakfast for us as we left at 5am on our last day.

A really good and comfy place

It is about a 10 minute walk into town. Two supermarkets nearby. Good breakfast on the restaurent patio. Excellent A/C. Staff very helpful and friendly.

Traditional style hotel with very large rooms.

Very nice hotel well located, within a 3 minute drive to the small downtown area by the port. Very clean traditional style hotel. Large balcony area looking over the pool and the sea. A solid 4 star hotel. Very large rooms.

The hotel is hosted in a nice, typical structure with an amazing pool(in case you are interested in it). Just 10'walk from town and with a private parking. Very clean, with nice amenities,it just misses some of the comforts a 4*hotels would have such as free water in the room and a higher quality of food for breakfast.

What an amazing hotel. We only stayed two nights, but we wished we had stayed the entire week instead of moving North to the more touristy areas of the island. The hotel, rooms, grounds and everything between were immaculate. The pool was so fun to swim and relax in. There was a shallow area in the pool for small kids and a little play area easily accessed behind the rooms. All of the staff we encountered, including the owner, were so kind and happy to help. One thing I wish I knew beforehand is the evenings that the restaurant prepares dinner. We mistakenly made a reservation elsewhere on Saturday night, expecting to be able to eat at the restaurant on site on Sunday. With the restaurant closed on Sunday, we had to make other arrangements. We hope to visit again next summer, booking only Hotel Nuraghe Arvu as our accommodation.

Good size room with balcony that had option for drying clothes. Lots of sunshine on balcony due to positioning. Breakfast was buffet style with good options. Plenty of parking availability although our Sat Nav kept trying to direct us towards the back entrance (now closed) rather than the main gated entrance. 15 minute walk to harbour/boats and was quite hilly. Lots of other resorts (hotels, camping etc) nearby. Staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. We availed of the packed lunches for our boat trip and it was worthwhile for the cooler bag alone which is good sized and can carry much more than food.

Gorgeous hotel with peace and quiet

Hotel Nuraghe Arvu was bliss! Our room was spotless, the decoration/colours made us feel very relaxed and at home! The pool area is really big and has lots of shady areas for those who don’t want to be in the sun. The breakfast was great with hot and cold options and lovely staff.

Amazing Gulf of Orosei

We only stayed a night - the main purpose was to rent a Zodiac to tour the coast - which is everything it's hyped to be.
The hotel staff organized the boat for us with a very helpful and reliable service in town and then provided the shuttle bus to drop us and pick us up when we were finished. Wonderful service and kind people.

Lovely little resort

Fear not - the hotel is not in the city of Dorgali, rather on the outskirts of Cala Ganone (actually close enough to walk into town). It is a lovely, little resort. The rooms are pretty - very simple but nice. The setting is beautiful and the pool is very nice. The front desk staff are efficient and helpful. There is a nice bar and you can sit outside and have a drink. The breakfast was very nice and the dinner we had was fine.
My big complaint - there is just no wi-fi at all in the rooms. It should be available everywhere now.
If you can get a room around the pool, it is a lovely scene. They will take you to town in a van and arrange tours, etc. We had a car and didn't need the help (and they charge a service free for arranging things.)
Except for the wi-fi, we just really liked this hotel a lot.

Great hotel, perfect location and lovely staff

We stayed at Hotel Nuraghe Arvu for a week at the end of August - it was fantastic. Each room has either a patio or a balcony - from ours we had a view of the sea one side and the pool on the other which was brilliant. The breakfast was immense - loads to choose from and self-serve. It was a 10 minute walk to town: the hotel also had a shuttle bus to take you and pick you up during the day. The highlight was the staff - they were so friendly and helpful, booking a couple of visits for us and arranging Tuck Tucks to pick us up in the evenings. The only minor thing was that the plastic glasses in the room weren't replaced but we could have asked! Really lovely place - thoroughly recommend it.

We visited on our honeymoon. The hotel grounds are beautiful. The pool is nice and clean and the staff is EXCELLENT. So kind and friendly. The room wasn't as modern and clean as we would have liked...but I looked again at the advertized pictures and I do not think they are misleading. There were a couple of ants on the floor our first day and the bed wasn't overly comfortable. But again I don't think the hotel was misleading...it's just not a luxury hotel. It is also a decent walk down to the beach which again was something I guess we should have researched more.

Great Hotel!

Beautiful and lovely hotel, wonderful experience and only a short walk to the beach. The buffet breakfast is ample with quite a bit of choice and the terrace overlooks the pool and mountain side which makes for a lovely way to start the day.

The hotel is clean throughout and the staff helpful when we had questions about the surrounding area.

I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Lovely place with lovely staff

The pool and central area of the hotel are simply a great place to lounge the day away if you are looking for the hotel to be the center of your stay, especially with kids. The food was better than I have seen other reviewers rate it (perhaps it is improved) and my wife in particular devoured her seafood stew two nights in a row. The staff were mostly ready to jump up and help with anything they could, and were very sweet to our toddler. The hotel is not exactly right by the beach - it is a 10-15-minute walk down a steep hill to the waterfront promenade and beach, and the same walk up the same steep hill after dinner. But overall we were very happy with our stay.

Cheminée du restaurant au mileu de la terrasse

Hotel bien tenu et propre nous avions demandé une chambre premium mais bien que l’hôtel soit loin d’être plein nous avons eunle droit a la cheminée d’évacuation des fumées du restaurant sur notre terrasse au milieu devant la vue sur la mer … ça plus le fait que la chambre etait au dessus de la zone préparation du petit déjeuner ce sui fait que a 06h30 tous les matins on avait le balai des tables roulantes pour apporter le buffet du petit dej. Je présume que cette chambre est réservée aux clients hotels.com !

O hotel foi muito agradável. O quarto era limpo e confortável. A localização é perto das principais atividades, mas, mesmo assim, é necessário o uso de carro. O hotel conta com estacionamento próprio e é fácil encontrar vagas. Também oferece algumas comodidades, como boias para banho, cadeiras de praia e até jornais para os hóspedes. O café da manhã foi muito bom, o atendimento excelente. Gostei bastante e certamente voltaria.

Sehr schönes Hotel mit tollem Pool und Gartenanlage sowie super Frühstücksbüffet in Cala Gonone. Supermarkt und Strand sowie die sehr schöne und lebhafte Innenstadt zu Fuss erreichbar (ca. 10 Gehminuten). Allerdings sind die Zimmer recht klein und ziemlich abgewohnt für ein 4-Sterne Hotel. Viele Parkplätze direkt vor dem Hotel.

l’hôtel pourrait être parfait car bien situé au calme dans un environnement soigné et un décor Sarde rustique charmant. Malheureusement beaucoup de détails gênant pour un prétendu 4* : petit déjeuner épouvantable ( amateur de café j’ai fini par m’en passer le matin, produits insipides et confiture de la cantine des années 80) pas de peignoir ni de chaussons ni de cafetière dans la chambre) . Par ailleurs service de piscine annoncé mais personne et donc plongeons etc en pagaille.

The hotel is located in a lovely spot. Center of Cala Gonone is 15 min. by foot. The pool is great. The room was quite dated and the breakfast mediocre at best. Much too expensive at 260 EUR for two adults and a 2-year-old. We had booked via Expedia for two adults plus one child and asked for availabilility of a baby bed. The baby bed was provided but 20 EUR extra per night were charged which was not indicated when booking.
I would not recommend this hotel.

Funkade men var äldre standard. Fin miljö.

Fint hotell, äldre standard. Kuddarna är inte så mjuka och väldigt kompakta. Det finns ingen lunch att köpa på hotellet och knappt i närheten heller. Hotellet ligger inte super långt bort men vi upplevde att det var alldeles för långt bort om man inte vill behöva ta bilen på kvällen. Poolen var kall jämfört med andra boende på ön.

Vi stannade 3 nätter och det var fullt tillräckligt på detta stället. Stranden nedanför är inte så fin, så själva Cala Gonone erbjuder inte så mycket.

Men fantastiskt fint att åka på utflykt längs kusten.

Wonderful place, very beautiful around the pool. Authentic decor. The bed was rather hard, and the neighbour hotel rather noisy. 10-minutes walking distance to the Main Street with all the restaurants. Nice staff.
