This property alleges to be a 5 star hotel, it is not. Not even a 4 star hotel. The building is in disrepair. The beach is really gross dirty and littered (which is not the fault of the hotel but just be warned) The pool is in no way luxurious. Very uninviting in fact, From the moment one arrives the energy is hectic - the staff seems overburdened. This same overburdened vibe definitely extends to the breakfast. Too many rooms and guests for that space an staff to accommodate. The breakfast is extremely stressful and the atmosphere is nowhere near a \"5 star experience\" which all would be fine if the quality was reflected in a low price for the rooms... but NO. These rooms ain't cheap. It has been famously said \"you get what you pay for.\".. but IMO at Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach Hotel.. you get far less than what you pay for. being generous giving it 3 stars. I stayed for a week but this final day was an add on bc I had a sudden change of plans and had to stay on.

Had requested a crib, which was delivered two days later after multiple reminders. The crib was very old& dirty, felt like it was falling apart & pulled from some attic.

Very courteous and attentive staff. Breakfast was awesome. Club lounge happy hour was great. Airport shuttle was on time with a nice van. New Year’s Eve party was great! Near the beach. Good restaurants (especially Sampan!). Room was clean, neat, with a nice view. Not far from the airport. Definitely recommend the Novotel to anyone visiting Mumbai for wedding shopping trips, leisure, or anything else.

Novatel has great views of Juhu beach and we found an amazing person called Raju( +91 91729 05057) who showed us around Mumbai and Film city. Highly recommend both Novatel and Raju.

Novotel was famous for its huge magnificent breakfast menu.. but post covid this was my 2nd stay at Novotel and they are still limited on their breakfast menu. The taste has also gone downhill.
Other than this, the service is excellent and no other complaints or suggestions as everything else was perfect !

This is a very nice property, but we experienced several rough edges. For example, our toilet was leaking and the Hotel sent someone to fix it twice with no success. The air-conditioning was also malfunctioning and they couldn’t fix it. So at the end of the day we had to change rooms. The Sand pan restaurant was hit a mess. We wound up having to send our food back a couple of times.

Considering how much we paid for a 2-night stay - the property did not match expectations of the price. It's definitely not a 5-star property more like a 3-star hotel. The carpets throughout the hotel felt very dirty and one of the pillows in the room had a huge yellow stain. The bar area was in extremely bad condition - it was so dirty as well as the surrounding outside area in the property - so much of industrial waste everywhere. Felt cheated with the amount that was paid for a supposed 5-star hotel. Needs a lot of improvement.

This was the absolute worst hotel. There was mold on the walls, bug feces in the bed, ants everywhere, stained carpets, and even saw a mouse run down the hallway. Didn't even sleep there one night (and we were booked for 16) and ended up walking down the beach to find another hotel. They refused to reimburse us and I had to get All Accor involved to get our money back, which we are STILL waiting for.

There was a smoking zone near kids' pool, no proper changing rooms or shower for the swimming pool, and the service level was very bad at the breakfast area (square). most of the time no operator picks up the phone. I had to call 3 times for luggage pickup at the time of check-out. This hotel has a good location, but everything else needs an upgrade.

The restaurant service was terrible, we waited for 2 drinks for nearly 30mins and ended up cancelling our order. Not worth the money to stay in this hotel. I have stayed here with family 2 times before but this time it wasnt the same. Stayed with family so 2 rooms.The check in time was over 2 hours. They tried giving me my room far away from one another,down the corridor.
Rooms were ok and food was good.
No staff were there to attend to us during pool time during the day.
During one of the breakfast time, the staff were dropped some hot fammable liquid cups and went over back of my dress and my dress and hair caught on fire,luckily my daughter was behind me and helped me put it out otherwise lot more damage would be done.
The staff were more concerned about cleaning the mess than look to see if any guests were injured.
Food and room conditions were fine but overall the hotel needs a refurb.
Not sure if ill stay here again now.

I booked an oceanview room and there was a lot of chaos while checking in.
First they assigned me a room that had the windows closed with an Ocean Poster (instead of any view) as the hotel was under construction from that side of the building.
When I requested for a better one (as I have paid for it), they said there are no other rooms available.
Until I escalated to the hotel manager, this issue was not resolved and I could not check in until 3:30 pm.

They also tried to give me a room on 1st floor which was a smoking floor, I went to check it and I could not breathe due to the smoking smell throughout on the floor.

Plus the reception staff working on my check-in was extremely slow and rude and had no idea what he was doing.

The property is good, good view and amenities but they really need to work on service piece.

The service was really poor, I had to fight for the ocean view room after paying extra for it. I was told that the hotel location is diagonal and only 1 room has the full ocean view from their room. That’s unfair as they have flagged lots of rooms as ocean view and get customers to pay more for them when their is hardly any view. In my case I had to tilt my head from the corner of my window that’s when I could see a little bit of ocean and they kept telling me that it is an ocean view room. It was very unfair. Additionally this hotel wasn’t 5 star by any means. I will never book this hotel again.

My main problem was that they took a 15,000.00rp payment as security from my credit card and don’t refund it for 3-4 weeks.
Normal practice would be to just place a hold on the credit card.

Would not recommend anyone to stay here. The area is dirty and so is the hotel. The reception staff were unhelpful and have very clear problems with communication and decent customer service. I encountered several issues. Check in took almost two hours. They tried to charge my sister city tax even though she had already paid this on her booking. Our bedroom had scaffolding right outside and we were only moved once I complained. Bed sheets were dusty and the rooms had a smell. Very disappointed with my stay.

Disappointing. We had high hopes for this hotel as we were staying for a friend's wedding. Check-in was slow despite a number of staff being on the desk. When asking if we could speed up check-in as we were attending a wedding, we were asked to join a different queue. Eventually the woman managing wedding check-in agreed to check us in.
Bags were meant to be brought to the room. We waited but eventually got the bags ourselves.
Dirty! The hotel floors and rooms were dirty. They had not been vacuumed properly if at all, and the sheets had blood stains on them (noticed late at night) Gross. I did not feel like the hotel was taken care of. Rooms are dated. Hotel is also dated and needs refurb. Peeling paint etc.
We enjoyed the wedding as was catered by outside caterers.
Overall, I would not stay here again in its current state.

Service was terrible it took them 2 hours just to send a their address to be written on a paper. We asked for coffee mugs every evening and it took them over an hour to get us coffee mugs and plates to us. Lastly, the bed sheets were absolutely filthy with huge red marks on them! Not worth paying for this hotel considering how expensive the stay was just for 4 days terrible service overall 4/10 service

The Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach has an impressive room service menu; it would be even better if they could have provided what we ordered. Just \"not available\" was the disappointing answer to the items we chose.

Reception staff were helpful; Diego the front of house valet was the most exceptional member of staff we met. Super-helpful, kind with a wonderful demeanour. He is an asset to the hotel.

On arrival, our check in was prompt. The bedroom did not have a remote for the T.V called the reception, they said an engineer will come to our room. 15 minutes later, the engineer arrived and said he will get a remote and walked away. 20 minutes he came back with a broken remote. He then went away again and said he will get another remote. He did not return.. I called the reception and they said the engineer will be back in 5 minutes. Guess what? No engineer. Eventually fuming i went down to the reception desk and asked what is the problem, it has been one and half hours since I asked for a remote! The receptionist had no credible answer. I asked for the manager on duty. They said he was busy. Eventually one staff called the manager, explained what had happened. I was then asked to return to my room, where yhe manager will meet me. 10 minutes later the manager indeed arrived, with a new remote and full of apologies. Later in the evening, I requested 2 bath towels. After 45 minutes and three calls to the reception, one bath towel is delivered. Eventually after 10 minutes, I receive two bath towels. Finally, following morning, just before checking out, our room safe doesn't open. Anyway that was sorted swiftly. In general very disappointed ...

From the day we arrived we were not greeted warmly and the room we were given was filthy and had a horrifying smell. Everything from the safe, cupboards, fridge, wastebin and toilet tissue holder was faulty/broken. The bathroom dehumidifier was not working or on so the entire bathroom was mouldy. We asked for a new room and was small improvement. You have to ask and wait 2 hours for water or fresh towels which should be done during cleaning. To enter the bar we were rudely shouted at and handled to pay extra 2000 rupees (£20) just to sit inside despite us saying we were guests at the hotel. The location is convenient but not worth the insult and hassle. Better staying at sun and sand or marriot!

It could have been better, we stayed as a family and unfortunately the staff whether it was the front desk or room service was really lagging behind. I personally feel the standards have dropped since the last time I was there, either the hotel is understaffed or they’re not well trained and efficient.
Every little thing that we required in the room would come after almost 7-8 calls persistently made to the room service or front desk. Hotel management can definitely do better.

The property is not maintained. The soap dispensers in the reception washroom are broken and only 1 works. The room cupboard doors are fragile and hanging on the hinges.
The duvet covers are torn and on complianing got another one which was also torn.
