Rooms although on the small side were fine for 2 ppl. The bathroom fan is super noisy and irritating. They’re a nice bunch and all the staff were super friendly and would try to make your stay as nice as possible. I’d stay here again if in Mumbai as the hotel is no frills but has everything you need. Location is great as well.

I had a rocky start with the staff who asked me to cancel my reservation as they couldn’t have my room ready on the day of check-in. To their credit, they willingly listened to my plea and gave me a human customer service. I was grateful for their service by the end of my stay as they went the extra mile to make up for the non-functional room. Restaurant was excellent, staff was wonderful. I highly recommend this place and hope they keep treating customers as human beings. Kudos to the staff once again.

The start off was pretty good, they had sent a driver to pick me up at the airport since I arrived at 3am. Checkin was quick and easy. The room was a bit smaller than what I expected but it was very clean. They provided 2 bottles of water every day. For some reason the refrigerator was not cooling anything and my water stayed lukewarm. I bought bottle of wine and it refused to reach a chilled temp. They did provide disposable tooth brush and tooth paste daily. And the rooms were made up very nicely every day. Breakfast was included in the stay. The variety was not much but they had my favorite idli with chutney so I was happy and of course the chai was really good.
There were a few good places to eat right down the street and also JW Marriot was across the street so I went and hung out at the bar there. Juhu beach was walkable from there and getting an uber to go places was super easy.
Checkout was very quick and easy as well. If you are looking for a budget stay in Juhu, this place the way to go. I paid about $330 for 4 nights.

I have stayed a number of times, mainly for the relatively short distance to the airport but also the nice Juhu Beach.

The rooms are well fitted out, although the lighting is complicated!

The only issue was that my room was on the main road and a little noisey from the traffic. Other rooms are better.

The staff are very welcoming and the food very good indeed.

very good location, close to good restaurent, we enjoyed staying except hot water for shower in the early morning due to the heater turned off 2am to 6am
we had an early morning flight and it was hard to shower with cold water. their staff manage to turn on the heater as soon as we complain. Overall it's a good place to stay

Earlier it was a good property before but now they have degraded themselves with no help from front desk for early check-in when i requested but they being baised gave early check in next day to other guest. Washroom near front desk was so dirty and smelly even washroom in the bedroon was smelly.

Hello, I have several grievances regarding both the hotel and hotels.com. Firstly, despite selecting breakfast while booking the room through the app, the hotel still charged us separately for it. Unfortunately, this additional charge of 4500 rupees was not reflected on the receipt or the app screen. Secondly, the quality of our stay was subpar; we didn't even receive an executive room. Due to my busy work schedule, I didn't get a chance to discuss this with the manager or staff. Overall, I am disappointed with the poor management by hotels.com and Bawa Continental.

The hotel is located near the Juhu Beach, at a distance of around 5 km from the airport and around 28 km from Gate of India in Mumbai. The hotel has 24-hour front desk and a nice lobby area. The staff is polite and helpful. The free WiFi connection is very good. The room is quite small. The bed is comfortable. There is no view from the room window. The are tea maker and complimentary bottled water in the room. There is no ventilation system in the bathroom. The air conditioning in the room works very well.

This Hotel is ok, breakfast very simple, rooms are very small, I had to call front desk 3 times to fix my TV, no good view from the room, shower had bathtub My husband has leg injuries so he was having shower problems, requested to change room but did not get to much help from the staff.I would not stay here again.

customer service was the worst, lazy, rude, unbothered, schemish, sly, scrupulous and unhelpful. room service never comes, bell boy doesnt make an effort, front desk staff are so charlatan. seedy hotel. unhygienic. stuffiness AC lack of ventilation dustiness musty smell made me ill. majorly overpriced for the dump it is. the only thing working for it is the location. great location in juhu. other than that - is a nightmare. unless you're fine with absolute dumps - do not book. its not doable for the average person.

The hotel name makes it sounds like a big hotel but it is not. It was located along the street with a signage and its is just enough for you to see it if your car is slow enough. The lobby is located inside the street hence you cannot see it along the road. It is a very old hotel. You can tell from the design. However, it was very clean. All staff were very friendly. From the guard outside to consignee and house keeping. I booked a queen bed room. Again you can see that the interior is old but it was very clean. No weird smell at all even in the toilet. You can find most of the amenities you want except that i have to request for room slipper and hair dryer. The house keeping was thorough too. The location of the hotel is good. Around 15 mins walk to the beach. You can also find all kinds of eating place and a wine store just around the corner. Starbucks is just next to the hotel at a stone throw away distance. Overall,i will choose to stay in this hotel again for my next trip.

A decent, reasonably priced hotel conveniently located in the Juhu Beach area. The wi-fi was slow (under 2 mbps download and upload), so you won’t be able to have a video call. The safe in my room was also non-functional (battery ran out?). The security guard at the entrance was friendly and would always greet me with a smile whenever I entered or exited the hotel.

The room had a lot of problems. Wifi was everyday a big issue, lights kept on tripping every night. The most ridiculous part was that i was charged Rs. 106 for a bucket of ice which is very stupid to do so. I stayed there for 15 days & also after many issues I chose to ignore but my expectations were too high comparing to what i anticipated. In short i would never book my stay at this location ever again.

As usual I had a great stay at Bawa. Whether I am traveling solo or with my family we always stay at Bawa. Staff are wonderful and accommodations are comfortable (especially the deluxe room). Hotel is clean and location can't be beat.

I returned to the hotel having stayed there about 5 years ago.
The hotel is pleasant enough, clean tidy and modern rooms. The rooms have comfortable beds and good bathrooms.
We booked an executive room and a thematic room as all executive rooms were booked up.
On staying in the themed room, we asked to be moved to an executive room, as we found the room very small and almost closterphobic, there was a desk behind the bed, which reduced the living space in the room. The bathroom was also smaller and it offered a bath, which was tiny! The shower was weak. So we asked to be down-graded to an executive room.
With regards to the staff all the housekeeping and cleaning staff were brilliant and attentive.
The restaurant staff in general were ok. They would benefit from instilling some urgency and responsiveness. In particular a female staff member who seemed to supervise staff and attend to guests was near to useless, she would benefit from some training in customer service. We saw some guests walk away in disgust on number of occasions following her interaction.
The reception staff could also do with an injection of personality! It makes the interaction more personal if they conversed with guests. However, the older gent usually on night duty was personable.
The bell boys in particular Pawan was really friendly and helpful.
This is a clean and functional hotel, which is conveniently located in Juhu. The charges are reasonable given what it offers.

Hotel staff were very helpful and extremely courteous. Housekeeping staff members especially Akshay and Ankush ensured that I had everything I needed for my stay. They were also helpful in providing the local Mumbai information.
All in all a pleasant and enjoyable stay.

The WiFi at the property wouldn’t work. Inspite if complaining to the management about the non-working of the internet connection the same couldn’t be resolved and had to remain without the internet connection. Also, a request for 2 hour late check out was declined at the reception.

It wasn’t good at all. Their Thematic room had low ceiling and no standing showers. They downgraded us but refused to adjust the price. Their free WIFI keeps on dropping. They don’t make any effort to make their guests happy. Not staying there any more. Heard that all their previous guests like me stopped coming back because of their attitude. Breakfast spread was disappointing.
I think it would be unfair if I dont mention their housekeeping folks. They were exceptionally good , very courteous and nice.

Great location, needs some work.

The hotel is very clean and at a great location, but the BMC had dug up the entry across the entry of the hotel which meant I had to park a kilometer away and had no electricity. While this situation was temporary and I lost my patience, the staff was pretty helpful. The lights came back on and I am sure the entry will be redone asap.

My only complaint is that the mattress had a MASSIVE ditch in it. It needs to be replaced. My entire back and neck is hurting. :(

This hotel is a gem in the Juhu area

This small hotel is classed as a 3 * but to us it is more then 5* the attention and service you get is more the we have had in a 5* classed hotel .
The price is not to be argued with for the service you get the staff recognised us from our previous visits and were so friendly and helpful right from the bellboy to the reception the staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable
forget the rest of the hotels in this area go for Bawa Continental you will not be dissapointed .

Although rated 3 stars, hotel was equal or better than many 4 star hotels. Short walk to beautiful Juhu Beach. Excellent vegetarian restaurant steps away. Clean, modern and comfortable rooms. Upgraded our room to suite without our asking. Great value. Location is handy to the beach and a good neighborhood, but because of traffic congestion, a long drive to many sights in the south and center city areas.

I had a late flight arriving to Mumbai and just need a hotel for the night. I arrived just before midnight and the staff was great in checking me in. The room was size was.. just right? It had all you needed but in a tight package. Bed, office table, and bathroom. Not much room otherwise. There was a slight issue in my room during the night but when I brought it up with Front Desk in the morning they handled the situation professionally and offered to cover my breakfast. I thought that was great of them.
