Love Saigon Domaine. after staying here we went to Park Royal Hotel which is probably one of the nicest hotels in Saigon. We ended up coming back to Saigon Domaine as it was much more comfortable and relaxed. much bigger rooms and on the river.

Great family stay

A great location overlooking the river and the city - a little out of zone 1 but for us that was a bonus getting away from it all. The complimentary speed boat shuttle into the city (20 mins) certainly makes up for it. The biggest apartment hotel suite by far we have ever stayed at - we had the 3 bed apartment equipped with a washing machine. Staff were simply brilliant - English speaking - the reception staff were particularly helpful. Breakfast was served on a floating pontoon, the selection and variety was good to suite all tastes. According to our children - the best breakfast in Vietnam. We ate dinner twice at the hotel and the food was excellent and relatively good value considering your in a hotel... We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but we enjoyed our stay so much that we decided to book another 2 nights later in our trip. For the price, excellent value for money and a great option for families.

Front desk was very helpful, she explained their transportation services and helpful hints around the city. Views from the hotel are amazing. The pools were fun. A shallow one for our toddler, and a deeper one for the older kids. The playroom was helpful. A room where the kids could yell and throw toys for an hour. The breakfast was okay, similar to a three star. The fruits were really sweet. We had a nice and relaxing time here. No issues.

Just stayed one night.
Upper floors have good view. You can see Saigon River. Building and facilities are bit tired though, still in good condition and clean. Room itself is spacious. It's quite calm inside the building.
Unfortunately, hotel boat is not available. But they support the transport to nearest waterbus station.
For the staff, some of them are friendly, but not all of them are nice. It's still acceptable because they can speak English so far.

We like everything on this property, it’s like an away home where everything you need is there comfortable beds, living rooms, clean bathrooms with full kitchen, washer/dryer and even dishwasher.

The rooms are decorated beautifully and we love the convenience of shuttle bus and speed boat that bring us to the city.

Friendly and helpful front desk staff are ever ready to render assistance and we were much appreciative that they allowed us to have an early check-in and upgraded our room.

We love to be back again if we ever visited HCM again.

3 Night stay. Hotel out from main district 1 but hotel has free shuttle boat out 3 times a day. Very big apartment ,but in need of some updating. Staff and cleaners very polite. Breakfast good enough slightly limited choice. Pool and area around needs attention. Very moldy dirty tiles in pool.

Biggest room I’ve ever seen! Got upgraded to a 3-bedroom suite. Plenty of space and loved the views from the balcony. Could do without the karaoke shop next door. Gets very loud at night. My daughter loved the shuttle boat ride into Ho Chi Minh! Pool was big but a bit on the dirty side. Wonderful breakfast with eggs and pho made to order.

What we liked: The breakfast was excellent. Sitting on the Saigin River early morning eating my favorite breakfast foods and drinking coffee was fantastic; the whole family loved it—both western and Asian foods. The hotel staff helped us with taxi service when we needed, as well as their van service to and from places. The hotel room had 3 bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen, 4 bathrooms, 2 balconies—one with furnisings to sit, an extremely large living room, HBO, Fox Movies (in English),CNN, a large foyer, ironi with ironing board, and a great view. Let us not forget the sauna and pool—both were very good. The staff’s English was not bad—each was better than another's.

What we did not like: Their boat was broken so we could not take advantage of this. More choices of food on their hotel menu would be nice.

We would absolutely stay their again!

Old property that is far from the city centre

Appliances in the apartment were very old and mouldy. The washing machine needed to be replaced as it was not working, which tells me that they are not checking prior to letting the apartments out. The dishwasher was releasing dirty water that made the dishes dirtier. As a result, we just hand washed the dishes ourselves. Shower was blocked so it was almost like having a shower and a bath at the same time. The swimming pool was small and can comfortably just fit in 2 people (if you want to have a swim) and very mouldy as well. I suggest you find an apartment in the city centre (I had a few options which were probably newer when I was booking this stay), they are quite a few. Taxi ride back and forth all adds up and traffic is not the best in Saigon.

The team at Saigon Domaine Luxury Residences were outstanding! They had upgraded us to a 3 bedroom apartment upon check in. The beautiful lady that checked us in gave us a few very useful pointers (eg. hotel provides free shuttle boat/bus, advised to take a particular brand of taxis [ie. Vinasun] so we don't get ripped off etc) Breakfast was outdoors on the riverside with a soup, egg and banh mi station for the chef to readily make your order, YUM!! The staff were all very kind. Our flight was originally scheduled for 10:30pm and I had paid extra for late check out. However, our flight was delayed until 1:30am yikes! Staff kindly allowed us to stay until 9:45pm and had arranged a taxi for us. Thank you for your very warm hospitality, it was greatly appreciated :)

You Won't Regret Staying Here One Bit

Our stay at Saigon Domaine Luxury Residences was short (1 night) but was incredible. The place itself was amazing...large, spacious with two bedrooms, a big kitchen, balcony and spectacular views of Ho Chi Minh City. Although it was outside the city, for us, that actually made it a bit better, where the craziness of city life can be a bit much.

Everything about our stay was awesome...from the staff at reception, to the hotel staff, the hotel amenities, etc.

In fact, the fact that the location was outside the city was one of the best parts, because being there placed us around more locals and exposed us to more authentic Vietnamese food and services that typically cater most to local citizens. Fantastic experience!

ZERO complaints...only a raving review...5 stars all the way!

This is a lovely small hotel. Being right on the river is wonderful - watching the interesting boats and the vegetation from up stream (often with herons fishing from it) is very special. The boat ride into the city center is fun. The apartment was very well appointed.

The staff was professional and helpful. Our apartment was upgraded, thanks to the manager. The breakfast was satisfactory and the transportation to the city was very helpful. When there's many guests perhaps you can provide more transportation especially for the return boat.
The swimming pool had some algae; i did not ask the desk about it - perhaps it could be cleaned better or explain to guests why the end of the pool is all green and the bottom so dirty looking (it might be just discoloring).

Looks nice but all on surface - very average

We were extremely disappointed in this accommodation - it was the worst we had in Vietnam in terms of value, convenience and facilities.
The location is isolated - there are no restaurants, shops or activities nearby - the staff recommend you don’t use the neighbourhood.
The hotel was in good condition but the apartment was jaded and in need of an upgrade - think curtains hanging off, peeling wallpaper, doors to the deck that didn’t actually shut or secure.
Thepool area needed a huge scrub - the floating restaurant was only open for breakfast - which was less than great - we had dead antsin lots of food served including ‘freshly’ cooked waffles - and the pool bar was never open rather packed up and abandoned. As there was nothing nearby you had to eat in the premises - prices the most inflated in all our Vietnam trip.
Since there was a full kitchen we thought we could make tea and coffee but no milk supplied etc. Water was sometimes replenished mostly not, air con in master bedroom didn’t work.
Our apartment washing machine didn’t clean our clothes - we had to leave with some wet smelly and rotting.
When we asked about things the staff were pleasant but shrug of the shoulders and oh well. Same re trying to book transfers to town - no we can’t say if you will go or not, just turn up early and see...
The whole place was really empty and sad and had a dilapidated air.
Definitely not recommended, so many great options in Ho Chi Minh but this isn’t one of them.

The apartment was huge and very comfortable for a family of four. The staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to ensure we were happy. The hotel is out of the city however this was the appeal, shuttle services were available to and from the hotel/city via minivan or boat.

Faded and isolated

In theory we wanted to be in a luxury hotel away from the craziness of HCMC.
In reality the property is isolated - literally nowhere to go outside to eat, and has a neglected air and ambience.
Our apartment on the surface was great - but the reality was that maintenance was lacking - eg blinds that didn't roll, sliding doirs to the deck that didn't quite close and didn't lock, the washing machine just didn't work, the movies weren't available (something else broken down), the \"library\" actually had no books...
Breakfast was tasty but choices limited. Worst coffee yet in Vietnam - and nowhere within 5k and an expensive taxi ride to get anything other than crazily expensive hotel food...
Staff had a resigned air - no offers of recommendations or local insights.
Just really disappointing.

To be honest, I am in love with the view and ambiance of the hotel. However, the service here spoke the opposite to me and literally ruined the whole vacation. The young girl wearing glasses (whom I didn't \"dare\" to ask the name) was super rude and unprofessional. Once she knows that I'm younger than her (by checking by passport for sure) she didn't call me Sir or Mr or anything but simply just my name like I'm her younger brother. Moreover, she assumed that every single person came into the hotel without reporting to her is coming to my room simply because it was my birthday, she didn't confront the white guy (by all mean I don't khow who) but me simply because I'm Asian and he is white (while she should have confronted the guy not me since he was the one going inside without reporting to her). She kept calling to my room asking private things and every time there was someone going in the hotel which I already made myself clear that I'm uncomfortable. It was my birthday, I am okay to pay extra if my local friends stay long, that was also clear to her, however, she still humiliated me just because I am Asian. Moreover, they promised to check in at 1h30pm, then at 2 we were still not sure where we were about to stay. And the second room key was never delivered to our room as promised. Literally, this hotel is discriminate to Asian in general and Vietnamese in particular. If you are one, please stay somewhere else.

Speedboat and transport to town is fast and efficient, so you don't notice the distance and actually it provides a lovely respite from the hustle and bustle of town

Food was okay but not fantastic. It is quite far out of the city but it is so easy just to taxi in and nicer being in a bit quieter place and is a beautiful outlook over the Saigon river. A little store and restaurant just down the road which was great.

Nice hotel close to the waterfront and the locals.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Their breakfast served is good. The hotel is very spacious and I enjoyed the close proximity to the Vietnamese homes/shops and people. There is a popular crab restaurant nearby which I missed. Crossing any streets can be frightening because motorists ride their vehicles anyhow they choose. Overall, Saigon Domaine Luxury Residences is a good choice.

The apartments are large and spacious with comfortable beds and furnishings. A little way out of town, but there's a free mini bus shuttle, and a speedboat! Nice to escape the heat and craziness of the city and lounge by the pool or watch the river going by. Great breakfast, excellent pho. Some good places to eat nearby as well.

Some of the furnishings are a bit tired, but still a comfortable and convenient place to stay. Very good value for money.

Quiet at the rear by the river----bustling, buzzing at the front with local life.
Huge apartments--spotless--fresh bed linen, towels every day---never ending supply of complementary bottled water {needed!}
Staff were brilliant, in particular reception staff---always smiling, helpful, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble.
Complimentary frequent bus shuttle/motor launch to the city and return, complimentary iced drinks by the swimming pool. Gym, sauna, pool and free fishing!

This was a disappointing experience. This is not a five star hotel. The pictures on the website must have been taken some time ago as the furnishings and fittings are now tired and in need of update. For example, the pool was dirty with moss and other plant life growing along the bottom. The external balcony furniture was tatty and dirty. The front side of the hotel was very noisy from the busy road. We could not use the bedroom that faced the road because of this. Our apartment had mouse droppings in the kitchen.

Excellent place to stay. Not cheap but great value for money. What space, service and luxury compared to any hotel of the same rate in Europe :) The only disadvantage is the distance from the city center. The convenient and fun hotel boat shuttle partially makes up for that. The hotel should consider to also provide the shuttle at other times of day.

30 mins from the airport and a 20 min ride to downtown. The hotel offers a regular timetable of free shuttle transport either by minibus or boat in/out of the city. Staff are very attentive and always consistently willing to help with items or travel tips/visits. The best service you could hope for.

Spacious hotel apartment by the Saigon River

We very much enjoyed our three night stay at this apartment hotel. Travelling as a family of four with two teenagers, we liked having three bedrooms and several bathrooms, a ton of space. Breakfast was served in a beautiful setting by the hotel boat dock right on the Saigon River. The hotel is about 6-7 km away from the city center, so you have to take the free hotel shuttle or a taxi, but in return you get to stay in a rather quiet, relaxed area. We loved the hotel's free speed boat shuttle between the city Center and the hotel, especially in the evening - we felt like we were in a James Bond movie. All in all, while the hotel is more like a 3.5-4 star property, we had a 5 star experience.

The only disappointing part was that our room wasn't ready when we arrived and each time we asked if we could store our luggage so we could go on our prearranged tour, we were told the room would be ready in 10 minutes, which was NOT the case. It is about 30 mins away from the city but either shuttle or boat transfers are available that run throughout the day which are complimentary. I had booked a 2 bedroom but was put in a 3 bedroom which is more like an apartment than a hotel room. Full size lounge room, kitchen and balcony. Breakfast was also very good.

Fantastic place to stay - I can't say enough good things about this hotel. Facility is very clean and well maintained, rooms are very generously sized, and service is great. The location is away from the CBD, which makes it nice and quiet. Shuttle service to the CBD is convenient and complementary, so getting around is no problem. If you are travelling with a family, this should be your destination.

A Saigon Oasis

After flying over 16 hours, we were exhausted and happy to spend a few relaxing days at the Saigon Domaine, an oasis in the chaos and madness of Saigon. The suite was huge and we had a fantastic views of the river and downtown Saigon. Breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. Our kids enjoyed the pool and the kids play room. Overall, we had an excellent time and would definitely stay there again when in Saigon.

Nice hotel, bit far from Ho Chi Minh City

Overall the hotel was very nice, with a great view. The rooms are also quite spacious and well furnished. The staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside to the hotel would have to be that it is quite a distance away from Ho Chi Minh City - they do have a free shuttle from the hotel to the city, they will give you a schedule at the reception desk when you check in.

Excellent hotel away from the crowded streets

Excellent place to stay. Away from the crowd and congestion of the streets. Only mins from city center. Clean large rooms with friendly staff. Good place for family or for any wanting to get away from the busy city. I will stay here again.

Our family love this place!

This place is not that far from the center of Ho chi Minh. I regretted that I didn't stay here until my last week in Ho Chi Minh city.

It's a beautiful place. The landscapes are amazing! There are nice, good restaurants (AND CLEAN) near by so you don't really need to go elsewhere for foods. I booked a 4 bedroom apartment and stayed in 10C. It's a huge place! I love the terrace! The staffs are very polite and friendly!

The hotel includes breakfast with our stay and the foods were OK. There're cereal, Vietnamese Pho, Vietnamese sandwich, and they can cook your eggs the way you like, and they also make waffle for you. If you stay 3 days or more, they would give you a free tour on their canoe around the island or take you to the floating temple in Go Vap. It's a beautiful temple!

The only complaint I have for this place are:
1- need to have light in the hall way because it's dark, and it's hard to find a key hole.
2- The towel rack needs to be lower so that anyone can reach because currently, if you are under 5'4 then it's very hard for you to reach for those towels.
3- Need to replace the washer/dryer unit. It's one machine that can do both but it takes 2 hrs to wash and 2 hrs to dry. When your clothes come out, they're wrinkle even if it's still damp.
4- They need to put some dishes, and bowels in the apartment. There's no dishwasher in the apartment but it's not a big deal.

If my family go back to Vietnam, I definitely will be in this place again!

Well pleased!

Great pool (around 10 pool loungers so get in early if busy!) and by the river / on the river for breakfast which is lovely, fab free boat trip if you are staying 3+ days and around 100-120kD to go into the centre if you don't use on of the many free hotel buses.
super helpful staff, lovely hotel, we paid for a one bed apartment on expedia and got a huge thee bed one on arrival so very pleased.
Overall, quick runs into town, nice and quiet when relaxing out of the town in district 7. Moor river locals restaurant only 200 yards turning right out of the hotel for great food and it is packed with locals.
Shop int he hotel, very good gym, sauna, pool breakfast. Only negative was one night too many people looking for dinner and it was an hour wait and with kids falling asleep moon river at 200 yards was too far and the hotel sent the hotel bus out for us!! brilliant.
Stayed all over the world from slum to plush and with wife and two kids 5&7 this was a great price and place, would go back if in HCMC, although we try never to go back....only forward ;)
Book with confidence for a good quality stay.

Shockingly Huge and Beautiful rooms!

We were all so tired after many hours of traveling when we arrived at the Hotel. Check in was very efficient and they got us to our room quickly. We were stunned when we walked in the room---it was the most beautiful 3 bedrooms, 4 bathroom apartment. Sparkling clean and very modern. Everyone was helpful and friendly and we couldn't have been happier in our home away from home. The only drawback which in a way was a plus was that it was a 15 drive into town but the hotel did supply a shuttle and trust me when you wanted a little peace and quiet, you will never find it in downtown HCMC so we were happy to be away from city center.

A little way out from Ho Chi Minh -( 15 mins in taxi or free shuttle)- away from the chaos- but well worth it! The apartment was absolutely luxurious! Staff very friendly and helpful- would definitely recommend staying here!

Great escape from the busy city

We went in a group of 4 to travel Vietnam and Cambodia. The first stop was Ho Chi Minh City. The hotel was the perfect place for adjusting to the time and temperature. It's a bit off from the center but they have a free shuttle.

A quiet oasis in the middle of a big city

We enjoyed a two week stay at the Saigon Domaine in February and March 2015. The hotel is situated on an island so it is quiet. The hotel provides shuttle and boat service to the center of the city which is about 20 minutes away. Guests have the best of both worlds: the quiet of an island retreat and quick access to the heart of a huge city. Our apartment was large, well appointed, and the view from the terrace of the Saigon River is something we never tired of. The hotel pool is situated in a lovely garden. The staff is one of the best things about this hotel. To illustrate, the staff brought us cookies every afternoon. Even if we were out for the day, cookies were left for us. When we were at the pool, a staff member would bring fruit or drinks without asking and at no charge. These small things make the Saigin Domaine stand out from the other luxury hotels we stayed in during our two month tour of Asia. The staff made us feel at home. We would stay there again.

Stayed for 3 nights. Upgraded to a 3 bed apartment on a high floor overlooking the river which was great. The building is 15 years old and some things are becoming a little \"tired\" - especially the fittings in the bathrooms and kitchen. A small criticism, but these need attending to in order to preserve the description of \"luxury\" accommodation. Otherwise, it was superb. Breakfast by the river was very good and the boat transfer into the city was fantastic. The pool area was also top notch. An ideal retreat from the madness of Saigon - especially good (and cost effective) for families or friends sharing.

Nice rooms and enjoyed the boat rides

Was extremely suprised by the size of our apartment. Had everything one could need. Large bedrooms, nice living room with comfortable furnature and TV stations with Western language stations as well as local. (Two adults and two 9 year old children) Great having a washer/dryer in the apartment. Breakfast was nice eating out by the water and the fresh fruit and juice was quite good. Enjoyed the soup in the morning and staff was always trying to please. All of the staff was great and very helpful. Our kids definitely enjoyed the boat ride to and from the hotel. Easy to get a Taxi when wanted to use one.

Great Apartment for the price of hotel in Center

We really enjoyed our stay hear! Great value, for the price of a City Centre Hotel you can have a lovely Apartment just outside the Madness with free Shuttle Mini-van or Speed Boat right in and out of the Center. Staff excellent and very helpful, great apartment and first place in Asia where I feel I wasn't rip off. Highly Recomended!

Quiet location beside the river

It's perfect for families. Having seperate sleeping quaters makes it much easier for each family member to do what they want. It was lovely eating a buffet breakfast outside beside the river every morning. It's a little far from the main city, about 25 minutes in a taxi, but it cost less than $10 so it wasn't really a problem. Actually, we preferred being away from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh city.

Highly recommend this hotel. Very family-friendly. The room was huge, very spacious and well-equipped for a family (the room even has washing machine!). The only problem is that some of the facilities are a bit old and the water was running a bit slow in the room. The free hotel shuttle makes it very convenient to travel to and from the city center. Buffet breakfast was excellent. Overall, it was great value for money. We had an enjoyable time. Thanks to the hotel.

A needed break

The Saigon domaine was a pleasant stop and rest in our journey. The staff was receptive to our early arrival and upgraded us to a three bedroom apartment with 21/2 bathrooms, a terrace that overlook the pool, and with a view across the river. The ferry service by boat across to downtown was quick and left us at the center of downtown. The location of the hotel is in a predominant Vietnamese area, not touristy with small coffee shops, and local restaurants near by. Everyone was helpful. The staff facilitated our getting manicures and pedicures at the hotel in the convenience of our room. They arranged our deopoff and pick up at the hotel for our various activities.

Beautiful oasis away from the busyness of the city

I stayed here with my 3 children. Extremely comfortable stay, large rooms overlooking the river. Great facilities and service. My kids loved it and it eased them into Vietnam so we could take the next step backpacking in the city and around Vietnam.

Love traveling with kids

We all said \"Wow\" when we walked into the \"room\". The rooms are all teak, very calming and welcoming especially after two weeks of traveling from Siem Reap and Hanoi.

There is a spacious kitchen equipped with microwave oven, refrigerator, washing and drying machine, dishwasher, all American size. If you need to do some home cooking, there is a grocery store within a few steps of the hotel. This hotel is a great place to stay for a family traveling in HCMC.

This hotel is not your typical hotel. It is more like renting a home, very spacious and a relaxing place to chill out and take it easy. It is extremely quiet when we were there. The river view is very soothing.

The staffs are professional, curteous and effcient.

The hotel is a wee bit far from District 1 but a taxi ride will get you there and back any time you need to get into town. You can also catch a free speed boat ride in the morning before 8:00; it is a \"wow\" for kids.

We will certainly stay here for a lot longer the next time we come back this way. Hopefully the hotel will provide same excellent quality.

5 star luxury. Huge room.

A truly luxurious experience. We had a MASSIVE room. Basically a full apartment, with an exceptional view over the river. The staff were friendly and spoke excellent English. You are a little out of town, so we spent most of the time eating in the hotel. They're attempt at western food was courageous, but slightly off the mark in places. We never used the speed boat, but it looked like fun.

Beautiful, spacious apartment.

This hotel gave us a huge, beautiful apartment, spotlessly clean. Housekeeping staff would iron a whole heap of clothes very cheaply. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher in kitchen if you needed them. Wifi excellent and free. Pool area was very quiet most days. Breakfast lovely overlooking the river. Great 15 minute speedboat ride into town. The only downside to this hotel is its location, a little bit out of town. Regular boat rides on weekends, much less thru the week, but there is a car shuttle service which takes 25 minutes ride. Quiet location. Would definitely recommend if you don't need to be in centre of town. Staff were amazing, especially NGA on the front desk, nothing was too much trouble, she booked restaurants, taxis, printed boarding passes...... just fabulous. All done with a huge smile. Fabulous hotel if you are travelling with children or extended family, so much space and storage, cupboards etc. Cant speak highly enough.
