Beautiful hotel with fantastic facilities across the complex. Breakfast and evening buffet dinner were excellent quality and good range of options. Rooms were spotless with great facilities including coffee machine and great shower. Wonderful sea view and balcony space. Bus stop just across the road for travel into the Old Town. Parking spots available outside the entrance for rental car. Will definitely return.

We had a sea view suite, which was very spacious and had two bathrooms. The problem was that the hotel had switched off the air conditioning due to being near the end of the season. The weather outside during the day was still 25 degrees though, so the room was too hot and stuffy during the day. Even some nights were unbearably hot!! The hotel staff were fairly rude when telling me that they had now switched over to heating the hotel….We found many of the staff nice, but those few who weren’t ruined the experience!! We won’t be going back there!

The hotel has great amenities and a wonderful beachside location. Exceptional pools and great views, spacious rooms. Breakfast was not in my opinion 5 star a very standard Buffett with overcooked hot items, no a la carte option and no table service for drinks. If you are looking for a hotel to relax by the pool in the summer it’s great. If you are looking for pampered 5 star this is not it.

My room at the hotel was lovely and very clean ,although there was no air conditioning, when I asked at hotel about this I was advised there was no AC in the room although it is advertised as having AC, I would not have chosen this hotel if I had known this, we were advised by reception staff to leave the balcony door open which we had to do because of the heat which resulted in myself and husband receiving insect bites. Also we were half board and the food was discusting for a 5 star hotel, we went on a couple of occasions but had to have a salad as the other food was barely warm and inedible. This meant we had to eat out at considerable expense as we found most restaurants very expensive. We would not return to this hotel and would never have gone in the first place if they had not advertised there was no AC in room. We also feel we paid for breakfast and dinner but could not eat there and should be refunded for this. And when we booked we checked first on your site and it was advertised there was AC in the room and there wasn't . False advertising.

The setting was very scenic. The rooms are nicely appointed, soaps, bed comfort, etc. but the duvet was too heavy with no flat sheet. The ac had to be set at extreme low temps to be comfortable using it. For summer months - there should be a lighter duvet cover. The buffet for breakfast and dinner was good but not exceptional - except for the breads which were very delicious.

My husband and I stayed here for one night on our way to Split in September 2025. This property is huge. It is like a resort, multiple restaurants, bars & pools all on the property. There is a beach club that is fully staffed where you point where you’d like a lounger set up and they get the chair and set it up for you with towel service. You can order food & drinks there as well. No beach, just rocks but very beautiful views. The restaurants are a bit more pricey but very convenient. We had a full sea view room and the view couldn’t be beat. Rooms were very clean and staff were friendly and helpful. The one con is the location, in my opinion. If you wanted to get anywhere OFF the property - it is not very walkable. Old town etc - very long walk and expensive cab rides. If you’re looking for a place that is for relaxing and enjoying the amenities of the property (or have a rental car - parking was 10 euros a day) - I would highly recommend. If you are planning on doing some walking to sites, I would choose a different location than this hotel.

Room on the top floor had a spectacular see view.
Great to be able to use the other hotels pools for choices, including roof top pool.
Everything was clean, lots of choices of food at breakfast and royal palm cocktail bar was great for chilling.

Beautiful location with stunning views all around. The hotel offers excellent food options, a relaxing spa, and a swimming area. Lounge chairs and towels are provided free of charge, making it easy to unwind. Parking is convenient at €10 per day, and the bus to the Old Town runs every 10 minutes, which is perfect for exploring.

In the evenings, live music at the restaurants creates a wonderful atmosphere for dining and relaxation. While prices for food are on the higher side and the service doesn’t fully match the price point, this was the only drawback in an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Overall, it’s a wonderful resort, and I would recommend staying here — I would definitely come back.

We stayed here for 3 days after exploring the Croatian coast - lovely room at the top of the hotel fantastic views. Hotel was a half hour in the bus to Dubrovnik old town in stunning location. I found the hotel a
bit soulless after all the lovely places we stayed. If you just want pool and sunshine it would be great. Food VERY expensive but good - we found a better restaurant called Eden un the back streets.
3 days was enough for me !

Location and the views from the hotel are exceptional. The breakfast buffet in the morning at the hotel was great. I did not really particularly enjoy the restaurant for dinner and prefer going back into the city or other places that you can find via online recommendations or locals.
The rooms were clean. The pool areas and gym where great.

It’s a little bit of a walk to the bus station if you do not want to get a Uber or did not drive but not too bad. The hotel is located at the start of the bus route to the center of town at the beginning of the day so it’s nice because you get a seat and it fills up pretty quickly.
Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful hotel with the most amazing views. Book a sea view room if you can, you won’t regret it. We loved the food, we just ate in the half board option restaurant which we really enjoyed and found it very good quality and varied.
Being able to use the facilities in the neighbouring sister hotel was great as there was a nice selection of pools, bars etc. We loved Dubrovnik and loved the location and everything about this hotel.

We were lucky enough to get a corner room which had a balcony on 2 sides and a wonderful view of the sea. The complex of hotels was very nice and it was great to be able to use the facilities across the complex which included spa, gym, different pools and a rocky type of beach area. There were several restaurants but all seemed to be serving very similar food - we would have been more likely to stay for dinner in the hotel if there was more variety. As it was there was a lovely walk along a sea view promenade into Lapad with bars and expensive restaurants with more reasonable offerings when you got into Lapad itself, although to be fair the whole area is very expensive. the breakfast was of a good standard and plentiful but it would have been nice to have a variety at the buffet as well. But overall I would recomend the Royal Palm.

This is part of a large multi-hotel complex with restaurants and beaches and pools. The rooms are lovely and the sea views cannot be beaten! Great breakfast buffet. A bottle of wine on ice greeted us, along with four luscious macarons. The whole experience was welcoming and relaxing.

Our only disappointment was that we felt quite removed from the actual city. There's no shopping or dining or quaintness within walking distance -- just the hotel-plex itself. Ubers are easy and affordable if you want to get off the property and into Dubrovnik itself.

Absolutely beautiful hotel and stunning views, promenard walk. As a resident of one hotel, you can use the facilities of all 5 hotels on site. The hotels are quite isolated on a hill so cant walk out for lunch or dinner or to get things from a shop such as water, crisp, without getting transport. Lapad town is down a very steep hill. Limited menue and the same at all restraunts unless you want to pay €78 for a seafood dish. No choices for snacks anywhere such as sandwhich. The ones on menue come with chips and cost same as main meal €20. These hotels are amazing, exclusive, beautiful. They need a lower cost cafe for lunches snacks and a supermarket, shop more local.

The property was lovely, very clean and beautiful views. The balcony was a great size as was the room. We paid for an upgraded sea view and it did not disappoint. The breakfast being included was appreciated as there really was no where within distance to go to as an alternative option. The dinner options weren’t all that spectacular and rather expensive for what it was. There was also only one small shopping complex nearby which offered the basics. I do feel this hotel and the neighbouring ones would benefit from some sort of shop to provide water, snacks etc as the nearest supermarket is an Uber or taxi away which isn’t great.

The hotel was immaculate, and all the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The services on offer were superb, and I would recommend using the spa if you have a chance.

The hotel is a 20-minute walk from some very good restaurants along a scenic coastal path, and you can walk to Dubrovnik's old town in an hour and a half (however, it is quite hilly). There is a bus link nearby, or you can use Bolt or the taxi service to get you back and forth.

Everything about this hotel ended up quite a bit off the expectation from a 5* hotel and the price tag. We had a luxury suit with two bedrooms, which on its own, despite a touch tacky and sparkly design was comfortable enough. Without sea view and being at the bottom level felt like we upgraded ourselves to a basement. A conversation with a passive aggressive receptionist was quite awkward as she insisted the only way to upgrade was to pay 3 x the price I could see in the booking app.

Breakfasts are of very low quality. Everything is there… but from sweaty cheese to the mass reminiscing scramble eggs is not something you’d like to eat. Coffee from the two machines was the only awful coffee I had in Croatia. Here’s a but though - the staff really try to keep it up. One of the staff looked at the scramble eggs tray and right away offered us fresh portions. They were very good. I also asked the bar lady if I could beg for some good coffee and she produced spectacular cappuccinos, which lifted the mood.

Evening buffet was good… not memorable by any means, but edible with decent selection. Staff, again, were very good.

The indoors pool was a strange experience. It’s the only pool allowing children under 16. It’s small at about 5-6 m radius but quite deep at 1.4m. It’s mobbed and the water is like an old soup. Our boys walked away with sore tummy’s and one ear infection.

The gym was ok with a wide enough choice of machines and dumbbells to do a holiday workout.

A wonderful hotel in a breathtaking location. We chose a sea view and wow, what a view - breathtaking. All staff were friendly and helpful, we chose underground parking for 10 euro/night, but there was on street parking available. Our suite was lovely, spacious snd spotless with two bathrooms and a kitchenette. We had a living room and a huge bedroom with a very comfortable bed. The gym is well appointed and the indoor swimming pool is lovely - we were there in Winter. Breakfast provided huge variety and was tasty.We had a great stay.

We booked two rooms as travelling with our daughter and both were upgraded to gorgeous suites with stunning sea views. The complex is absolutely lovely, the staff very friendly and helpful and the breakfast choice fab - a wide range of fruits, cereals, pastries, cold and cooked foods, pancakes, yoghurts, etc. The pools aren’t very big, but more than adequate for our needs and we never had any issue getting a sunlounger, but it was September. We had a hire car for the duration but took Ubers to and from Dubrovnik as they were so cheap at around 7-8 euros each way and we never had to wait more than a couple of minutes for one.

This is a terrible hotel. We booked an ocean view room. When we checked in it was infested with ants. We requested a room change and they claimed no ocean view rooms were available and downgraded us. When I tried to seek compensation there were no managers or customer relation people available even the next morning. Hotels.com couldn’t connect with anyone. Also forget about a complimentary upgrade or wine/gift for gold/vip. Hotels.com should really remove this hotel from their site. It’s a joke

Beautiful hotel, however, a few constructive criticisms. We were supposed to receive some Expedia perks like complimentary wine which we did not receive. In addition our sea view room was on the main floor and was largely obstructed by trees so really should be considered a partial sea view room. The service was overall okay but the staff at the beach bar weren’t friendly and not helpful. A drawback is that we found it difficult to get beach chairs unless you go down before breakfast and claim your chairs. It would also be nice to have drinks service by the pool rather than having to walk up. The beach was incredible and so private and we loved the property itself.

The hotel is on quiet road in a complex of Royal hotels. We had a luxury suite which was more than adequate for two of us. It would have been great to have a sea view but i believe that this somes with a hefty surcharge.
The breakfast is fantastic and has more than enough choices. The staff are very friendly.
There are various restaurants in the complex. We only ate at the pizza place which was OK but expensive. The other restaurants in the complex are very expensive. You are better off walking along the promenade to Lapad where there is more choice.

Beautiful location and quieter area to old town. Breakfast is mediocre with limited selection. Did not bother with it despite being included. Rooms are lovely but do not get cleaned. Would go again despite all. Just to beware that the beach is not what you imagine and unless you are a strong swimmer, I would not go into it as lots of rocks. Welcome team are also not the friendliest, however lunch and dinner staff at Castile was fantastic. Vista staff are not so great and very slow service.

We had an excellent stay at the Royal Palm Hotel in a deluxe double, see view room.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, from housekeepers to reception and restaurant. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
We found the dining options very varied which was nice, while it was also good that we could use the facilities in all the resort hotel's, so had the option to go to adults only or quieter areas for a swim or drink.
The grounds were well maintained with exceptional views. A nice walk along the promenade was a bonus if you wanted to go to the more populated area of Lapad, however it was always nice to return to the hotel and facilities which in our opinion, had a nicer feel about it all and definitely worth the 5 star status.

Beautiful views! Food was excellent, breakfast was fresh everyday. You can use the pools, restaurants and bars at any of the Royal hotels that join together. Very clean resort. Staff are attentive and very helpful. Nice walk into Lapad where there is a sandy/pebbly beach, supermarkets. More for adults than children but that’s what we wanted! Bus service a short walk away to get to Dubrovnik 2,50 euros each way.

The hotel was beautiful with several restaurants, pools and plenty of places to sunbathe by the pool or sea. The food was good but expensive, not as good as what I expected for the price. The room was perfect and spotless as were the other places in the hotel.

The staff could have been more approachable and welcoming. Many were standing around or would not wait for the guests to walk past first. They could work on their customer service and provide a friendly atmosphere. However, the reception staff were fantastic as were the two women welcoming guests into the La Castile restaurant for dinner and breakfast.
Overall, it was a brilliant holiday and the hotel facilities were superb.

Hotel has lots of restaurants and bars (good food but expensive - but everywhere in Croatia was expensive) and views are stunning. Would have liked more to do in the day, options are jump in the freezing cold sea or sunbathe. It is a 15 minute walk to local shop (beautiful along the promenade) unusual to not have a hotel shop. Bus into Dubrovnik old town is easy. The Hotel is very clean and room was great. Some staff were helpful.

Lovely location in Lapad, with great views and not too far to Old Town by taxi or bus. Lovely breakfasts, especially the fact that you could order Eggs Benedict or poached eggs, which, took us a few days to realise.

Would have liked to have seen some smaller dishes and lighter lunch options though. Plus water fountains for quick and easy bottle top ups.

Finally, it would have been useful for the hotel to make it clear that they could arrange trips etc, as I only saw the catalogue on my last day in Reception. I arranged my own trip to Bosnia.

We travelled as a couple as part of our honeymoon. The hotel itself is great, clean and looked after. The staff on the other hand are very rude and unfriendly, it kind of shocked us. Not a simple hello or how was your stay or anything. The staff at the Bar on the rocks rude too, my husband ordered a beer for €8, they gave him foam and when he asked about it they became defensive and said it’s natural for beer to be like this like we haven’t had beer before :) in our room we kept on hearing some strange (maybe pipes) sound even at night and also had ants running around attracted to food, wouldn’t advise having any kind of food in the room at all. Overall, the stay was not bad and we made the best of it despite all the sour faces. There is no beach as such, entrance to the sea is through rocks or ladders and 2 swimming pools by the sea are filled with sea water. The 3rd outside pool is not very deep at 1.25m.

Wonderful location with beautiful views. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room well appointed with lots of storage space and bed very comfortable. A couple of negatives: pool and beach areas always busy so difficult to get sun beds and the buffet area at breakfast was quite cramped.

We had a lovely stay at the Royal Palm. The staff are all very helpful and polite and there are lots of choices of places to eat. The scenery is so pretty and it’s an easy bus ride into Dubrovnik old town with the bus stop close to the hotel complex.

The view and location is worth the stay!

I booked this hotel to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The best part was the view of the sea from our balcony. We had the corner room with the wrapped around balcony. The pool was clean and nice. The beach is very rocky and water shoes is a must. The downside is that there were no lounge chairs out because of the season. We went the end of May and the temperature was pretty mild and the sea water comfortable to swim in. The location is within walking distance to many restaurants and other swimming areas.

Great property with good amenities
It’s clearly an area developed to meet the needs of foreign travellers so if you like that sort of thing, it’s the place to stay
If you want to be in Dubrovnik, Croatia then don’t stay here. Stay in the town.
We liked it because it was quiet and the town was very noisy and busy
If you take a stroll around the other side of the peninsula, you see a slightly less developed area
Great places to swim easy to jump off the rocks and grab steps back up
Good bus links to the old town and the food was fine
