The hotel is in good location and staff were professional, but the hotel itself needs updating and deep cleaning, I know some of the rooms already renovated and updated, but the ones that are not updated needs to some deep cleaning, like replacing the moldy caulk in the bathrooms.

Paid full in advance through Hotel.com without breakfast, when checked in the front desk did not ask for the deposit and told us everything is paid. The next day we took 3 breakfast and another 3 on the following day, my husband called the front desk stated that we will settle the breakfast when we check out and the front desk said OK. However, the next day they sent me text, email, and constantly asking us to pay and even came to our room with credit card machine. We still had remaining 5 days to stay, which already prepaid in full and the cost of the 5 days is much much much bigger than the cost of the breakfast. There is no way we want to abundant the room since we prepaid in full. Poor management hotel system.. !

Although I am a regular customer, I was subjected to mistreatment that I had never witnessed before throughout my visits to this hotel. I was financially drained for imaginary reasons. Therefore, I will not repeat the experience with you again. Also, the facilities are closed and I had to go to another hotel to shower.

The hotel is located in one of the best areas in Jakarta. Lotte shopping center is nearby and also plenty of restaurants and bars. The rooms are a bit old but are clean and large. Staff are friendly and polite. I stay here when I’m in Jakarta.

We wrote multiple times to senior management prior to check in but did not receive anything remotely resembling an acknowledgement, much less a reply. It was frustrating. Check in staff seem understaffed, unhappy and certainly not accommodating to our questions and requests. The property is old understandably, but no little touches to make it look more homely and welcoming especially considering these are serviced apartments. The comfort and space of the apartments are the best aspects of this property. The location is a dream as well.

Poor Experience in Somerset Gran Citra.

The first impression is very Bad. I have to stand almost half an hour to wait for elevator. They have 3 elevator. 1 out of service. One always stop in G level and up again not come down to level B1. The third one not moving at all. After almost 30 minute the third one working and bring my to my room level-11. The heater in the room not working so we have to take a shower with cold water. My wife called 3 times and after 3 times a hotel staff came but doing nothing and said will report to engineering. The soap in the shower is either stuck or empty . I pressed with energy nothing is out of the soap bottle.

I will never stay in this premise again...its very bad experience.

My wife said she felt some itchy cause she has sensitive allergic of dust, might the room is not clean.

Strange experience! Booked for 4 persons, got a 3 person room! Actually on the site is designated a king bed and a double, but even in small letters a double and a single. Anyhow, I booked for 4, so I want 4 beds!
1 lift was out of order, second stuck while I was in. Lift makes strange noises, not trustworthy. Takes long time until you get a lift, crowds waiting in front!
Room was like a labyrinth, don't trust the pix.
Quite loud, no soundproofing! Balcony shabby.
For any activity you must apply online, quite strange. Only 10 people allowed in the pool, cause the fake virus will jump around! Then more than 20 people were in the water, nobody considered the application. Hereto pool only until 5pm!! Because of hoax pandemic! But Ascott pool is open until 10pm, same Owner!
Anyhow nice pool are.
Breakfast only in boxes, no access to the restaurant, even during the day people present there! Because of the pandemic? In other hotels breakfast in the restaurant is possible, e.g. Oakwood! But seems for the management it's more convenient and cheaper to distribute food boxes, since they're the same like in Ascott!
A sign at the reception says 'stay home'! So Somerset do not want me to stay there?
I asked for a late check out, they wanted me to pay for, they were not aware that I'm an ASR member, even I told them, just ignored!!!
In all not recommended, better pay bit more and you'll have a more relaxed stay in a professional managed hotel!

Actually a nice hotel. Spacious apartments. Breakfast delivered to the room because of covid. Coffee undrinkable, orange juice bad too, food ok.
Biggest problem for me was WiFi/internet. Very unstable could not connect and then unstable. Could not make a my conference call. Because of that I don’t recommend this hotel I won’t stay there again!

혼자 지내기엔 좀 넓었습니다. 리모델링한 룸이어서 시설은 전체적으로 모던하고 깔끔했고 침구류도 좋았어요. 다만 창밖도로의 바이크 소리가 좀 크게 들려 민감한 분은 힘들 수 있을 것 같고. 호텔수준의 어매니티는 아니었지만 치약치솔 샤워캡 정도 구비되어 있었고 샤워젤은 벽에 부착된 제품으로 준비되어 있었어요. 24층에서 제공되는 조식은 간단하게 토스트 샐러드 시리얼 간단한 죽 정도 였고 에그프라이가 없어서 아쉬웠습니다.
라운지 건너편 건물 일층에 간단한 스토어가 있어서 물이나 스넥류 간식 살때 편리했고. 조금만 더 걸어나가면 바로 롯데몰이어서 관광으로 오시는 분들께는 편하실 것 같아요
참고로 웬만한 호텔에서는 보틀워터 한두병 제공되는데 여기는 없었어요.

The water taps were the old school separate kind (meaning difficult to control and maintain the selected water temperature), and there was no shaver in the amenities. The breakfast selection left a lot to be desired. Not tasty at all and there was no killer dish to redeem the meagre spread. The air conditioning at the breakfast level was also very warm. One night with unpleasant review

Unfortunately i got bad experience during my 1 night stay. I reached late due my flight delayed, and on the midnight just about to sleep the electricity was trip and everything black out in the unit though the technician was attend to it quickly. On my check out my brother was accidentally left behind the food bag in the kitchen, i realised it when i am back to sg so my sister called the hotel midnight and the next day they said they found the bag but unfortunately some of the items was missing. The hotel still investigated it but i hope it won't happened again.

The room we rented was enormous! While everything was comfortable and the location is great, I will say that it’s very close to the highway, so if you’re bothered by road noise, this may not be the right place for you.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. We could walk to restaurants and shopping (which can be difficult in Jakarta), and the price was totally fair. I would have no issues staying there again.

Very pkeased with the size of the rooms. For a great deal with Expedia, it was amazing!
Plenty of room. Kitchen supplies coukd be improved. There were no kitchen towels/paper towels. No trash can in the kitchen.
The shower stall were moldy. The cleaning crew needs training on how to clean the Bath room / shower (bleach would help). Bad odor coming out from the drain (sewer).
Power putkest could get an upgrades with universal plugs/USB ports.

It is in a very good location, a few step to the mall and nice bar n restaurant. Mitha at the desk, and her friends are very kind and friendly. House keeping should be improved. There was no bath mat for one night and no liquid soap on another night. Shower cap, dertergent and cotton bud were only available on request at the front desk. Overall is great. Though I was there for 8 nights, the breakfast was not boring. I love this place.

The best hotel I have stayed in Jakarta.

Locality is centralized and famous Malls are within reach. Security is tight and secure. Staffs friendly and courteous. Cleanliness is their top priority not only to the rooms but overall i.e building boundary, pool area, landscaping, reception and waiting lounge etc. Breakfast lounge area having superb view of the City. Very tired looking room and very old furniture ( a 3 bedroom condo). Water heater didn't work. Maintenance had to come up and fix, wasted our time waiting. We complained and wanted to get a replacement room but hotel management was adamant that they don't have any spare available. We asked for compensation but nothing was offered other than a free 100 K IDR spa which we arent interested anyway. OutdoorAC compressors very noisy especially during night time. Pungent smell in the lobby, elevators and hallways. It was a regretted choice for a family vacation.

Booked a Deluxe room with 2 bedrooms for a family outing to Jakarta and got this decent-sized apartment with good living room, fully equipped kitchen (including washing machine & dryer), 2 bedrooms with a big bathroom each, and even a big, but empty 3rd room (would be a nice study or playroom). A bit dated style, but still fully functional and comfortable (renovations are planned, and partly being implemented). Nice view from the balconies on the 11th floor. All rooms and kitchen clean, well maintained. Bed and bathroom linen clean. Beds a bit soft for my taste. Good breakfast buffet. And a nice pool for the kids, with playground nearby. WiFi in the room tolerable.
Staff service good, friendly, smiling, though could be a bit faster
Location in business district, with plenty of restaurants around, and even a big shopping mall almost next door (Lotte).
Will come back some day for another outing.

Good location but a run down

Location was good due to the business meetings I had next door. It's also situated next to a mall and further down walking distance are some other malls. However, there are times when you come in from the opposite side of the road in a car, you would have to go all the way down to make a u-turn back to the hotel. After learning that on the first day, we decided to ask the driver to turn into the mall entrance instead and alighted there to walk to the hotel which was only less than a minute away.

The lobby seems run down but the reception team was good! They were friendly and tried their level best to accommodate in anyway they can.

The lifts are small and zzzzzzzssssslowwwww. Very run down with a smell but they claim that they will be under going renovation soon.

The 2 bedroom apartment is huge but very run down (area where it's carpeted), the cleanness and dust was apparent if you look around which made us have the decision to even not sit on their chairs at the lounge for fear of dust mites.

The kitchen felt dirty and run down. Cutlery had stains and the cabinets were very old giving the feel that \"let's not even open any of these cabinets\".

Housekeeping was great and when we requested for additional towels or pillows, they were on hand. However, my bathroom didn't have any body shower refilled in it (we brought ours anyway) and a leftover soap was still there when we checked in.

I booked a one bedroom apartment but they put me in a 2 bedroom unit and noisy.. The balcony door can't be closed. The next day I got back the one bedroom but the rooms are not very clean and the towels turned from white to grey.. The rooms are very old and construction going on.. Overall I'm not happy staying there as service is too slow and not up to standard!

Tho due to me being that way the staff where extremely professional and had us in our room and relaxed and all problems solved with in minutes... The two bedroom suite I stayed in was better then my expectations.

I expected wifi in the room but they only had LAN and the connection was a bit tempermental.

A good apartment hotel with some rude staff

This was my second stay in the hotel. I stayed in a one bedroom apartment for just one night. The facilities are still at a good standard, with an adequate kitchen, laundry facilities in the apartment, bedroom, bathroom dining room and lounge room. The little shop on the ground floor is excellent for providing personal items and some food. The breakfast was basic, but adequate.

My complaint was with the staff at check out time, when I learned that my credit card deposit would not be returned on check out. The staff said that the deposit refund could take up to seven days. This is apparently the general policy of the hotel, and staff were rude when I politely questioned this practice. I have not encountered this kind of policy before, as usually the deposit is cancelled immediately.

There is a lot of construction going on around the Somerset. You so not have easy access to the Marriott or Ritz or Oakwood. The building is tired and old. It was once I am sure a very nice place. I see why it is only US$107 per night. Bed was comfortable, kitchen in apt was nice, small old TVs, no wireless internet, free breakfast (you get what you pay for-just terrible).

We are staying in the Somerset in Seoul, this Jakarta Somerset can not tip on the Korea quality, maybe our expectations were to high.

コンセント以外は大満足

クラシックルームに4泊。年季を感じる内装だったが、広いリビングにYoutube 等が見れるネットテレビ、仕事も出来るデスク、ベッドルーム2室、浴槽付きバスルーム2室、レンジと食器があるキッチンに洗剤まで付いたドラム式洗濯機、各部屋にバルコニー付きと設備は完璧に近かった。
広いプールと別棟には有酸素系と筋力系も充実したジム、テニスコートまである。
立地もジャカルタ中心部。徒歩圏内にサークルKのコンビニ、Grabもエントランス前まで呼べるし隣りは高級なラッフルズホテルで周囲もキレイで治安も良い。朝食は付けなかったが巨大なロッテモールに隣接しているので、地下にスーパー、レストラン、安価なフードコート、和食から現地料理、コリアンからスタバまであるので十分だった。
以上のことからもコスパは高く、ジャカルタ初心者にもおすすめ。
個人的に感じた課題は2つ。ひとつは多くの口コミにある高速道路が近いのでバイクや車の騒音は激しい。個人的にこれは想定内だったが、真夜中でも響くので神経質な人は寝れないかも。
もうひとつはコンセントの位置と数が少なく絶望的に厳しい。リビングのソファやベッドサイドには皆無で、部屋の隅の床の近くだけ。スマホやバッテリー、タブレットその他を充電しながら使うのは困難なので、部屋の設備のルームライトや電気器具の電源を外さないと全く足りない。これは今の時代に致命的なので、ホテル側で延長コードなど、対応をすべきではないだろうか？その他、トータルでは大満足なのでまたリピートしたいと考えている

I would like to see a little more variety in breakfast. Bread is not good. Also, there are few power sockets available in the room, which is not modern. Other than that, it was good.
