The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was a great size and was clean. It only had instant coffee in the room and my husband was disappointed with that, but not a huge deal.
Now the only real complaint was there was a sewer smell both inside the building and outside in the beach area. It came and went, so at least it wasn’t a constant. We never asked about it, but someone had mentioned that it is common. It didn’t ruin our stay, but worth noting as it is a bit off putting.
The breakfast buffet was lovely. There was definitely something for everyone and if not, you are just too picky.
We booked a private tour through the hotel, as it was most convenient for us. Katarina was our tour guide and to say she went above and beyond would be an understatement! She had places she wanted us to see and in doing so, went over her allotted time. You don’t find that very often.
We loved the location of the hotel, as it was close to many restaurants and some shops too.

We were impressed with our lovely welcome package of a bottle of wine, a plate of cut fresh fruit and bottles of water. The breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - Greek yoghurt, nuts, fruit, cereal, \"full English\" and a great variety of baked products - croissants, Danish pastries, cakes, sesame seed bars, tarts, cheese pie, spinach pie.
I didn't appreciate having to pay for sun loungers on the beach - the hotel had places to sit on terraces, but the sun loungers on the beach were managed by the beach bars and you either had to pay to sit in the sun or spend a minimum of 20 euros at the bars.
The bed was comfortable, but the pillows weren't - we each had two pillows - one too thick, hard and heavy; and the other too thin, soft and flimsy. Consequently I didn't sleep well.
The shower worked well and there was a generous supply of towels, beach towels and toiletries.
We chose not to eat dinner in the hotel (37 euros pp for a buffet) as we're inclined to eat too much from a buffet! There are a few bars and restaurants nearby where we just had a main course and a drink for dinner.

A very nice design set on a beautiful peninsula. Sunbathing in morning on the cliff side and swimming on the bay side. Morning breakfast with multiple choices overlooking the ocean, very nice method to wakeup!

Amazing stay from start to finish. The staff are so kind, helpful and polite. We arrived late on our first night and the staff had prepared plates of lovely food for our arrival which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The hotel is gorgeous and modern in a stunning location and the food was absolutely delicious.

Excellent property and much to do. Very walkable to many restaurants. Gorgeous views and pool was amazing. Breakfast had so many options but same breakfast everyday. Breakfast did not change for our 4 nights stay. Beach was beautiful, Rocky Beach (cliff swim) was excellent as well. We had a family room below the breakfast so the chairs were extremely loud at 7am. Lots of moving, dragging noises. Keep in mind if you’re booking.

Had an excellent stay! Visited Corfu with my family and the staff was always friendly and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay! The views from the hotel are breaking and you get access to the best beach in Corfu! The only downside was poor service (as is in the whole island) and poor wifi connection in some parts of the hotel.

The Akotiri Beach Resort Hotel delivered on every level.
Very comfortable hotel with excellent customer service from all the staff from start to finish.
The hotel is set amongst beautiful scenery with lots of amazing food, drink and experiences on offer.
The room was very nice with a good west bay view and cleaned every day by the friendly staff.
The breakfast buffet had plenty to offer for everyone and the team keep service ticking over nicely.
If you fancy getting out of the hotel.
There are also a number of great restaurants within walking distance.
It is an easy 30-45 minute taxi transfer from the airport costing €55. This can be arranged through the helpful hotel reception team.
If you want a nice relaxing holiday where you can choose how you want to spend it, I would thoroughly recommend.

Location was perfect. The hotel is beautiful. If we were to make a constructive comment, it would be just to update the rooms a bit as the rooms do not match the vibe of the rest of the hotel. Regardless, we give this venue an excellent review.

Perfect Hotel in Incredible Surroundings
One of if not the best hotel we have stayed in. It’s location atop the cliffs in Paleokastritsa means you get incredible views from all sides of the hotel.
Even if all you want to do is sunbathe and relax each day, you can still have a bit of variety whether you lie at the rocky beach, the sandy beach or the pool each having its own attractive qualities (but we liked the rocky beach the most).
We stayed in a superior open sea view room and waking up to the amazing view through our balcony door was a highlight. On top of this the room was very nice and well equipped with a comfy bed and a very modern and sleek bathroom. The shower in particular was very nice.
The staff were lovely, welcoming and always made sure to try and go the extra mile if you required something.
The breakfast was very good and boasted a large variety of options without compromising quality.
The food at the beach and poolside bars were also very good and of high quality. Drinks a little expensive but is no more than what you would expect to pay in a hotel like this.
We will 100% be back and look forward to returning hopefully in the near future.

Great stay for 5 nights in a family room. Room was comfortable and spacious with a balcony overlooking the sea. Bathroom was a little small for the three of us but was in excellent condition. Breakfast and Buffet both OK. Options outside hotel as well. Beautiful location and handy for the bus to Corfu town which stopped outside. Hotel staff all very helpful including helping with a short private tour to the local monastery and castle.

Should Have Stayed Longer
I wish we had stayed longer. This hotel is very nice, and it's the setting that makes it outstanding. If you like to swim, this is the perfect place. The hotel feels like a full resort, where you really never need to leave the property to experience stunning scenery, great food, and plenty of activities.

The property is gorgeous although there can be a shortage of beach chairs. It’s nice to have the variety of a ‘rocky beach’ sandy beach and pool. The staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat out of the hotel. I found the clothes rack to be way too high. Some of the pegs for the shelf were missing so it fell down. I found them and repaired it myself. Not eco friendly with the use of small toiletries and plastic water bottles given daily.

Beautiful hotel in the midst of nature in Corfu. Large well maintained, comfortable, luxurious rooms with access to beaches and pool. Excellent food on site. We had breakfast included that was sumptuous and extensive.
On the other hand, not all of the front desk staff were friendly and I felt somewhat ignored a few times by the same person. I hope it was just a lack of training and had nothing to do with how I looked.

This resort is so beautiful. We actually extended our stay in Corfu because we loved the hotel so much. It has direct beach access to a beautiful bay where you can rent boats and do water activities like kayaking and paddle boarding I believe. The dinner buffet was delicious we ended up eating there quite a few nights. Breakfast was also great. Pool area was fantastic and staff was so nice and welcoming. It is right next to the bus stop to go to Corfu Town. This hotel was so perfect. It is very close to the monastery too. Lots of great restaurants and bars within walking distance. We will definitely stay here again. It is an amazing deal for the price.

This is a truly beautiful hotel and our room with view over the beach was amazing. We appreciated lovely clean towels for use outside and in and our room was meticulously cleaned on a daily basis. The choice at breakfast was extensive and we had to hold ourselves back from over-indulging! Despite there being a sign to say that towels would be removed from sunloungers around the pool if people did not return within 30 minutes, no one ever checked so all week the best ones were taken by the most selfish people who very often weren't there!! So annoying grrrr. A beautiful place nonetheless.

Hotel was nice, rooms were generous & nicely sorted. Balcony was spacious. Just a little sterile and lacked atmosphere, except at breakfast where it was buzzing.
Outside the hotel there were a number of good eateries, all pretty close but no other nightlife as such.

A part of the paradise
This a 4 stars hotel that easily should be ranked 5 stars. Rooms , restaurants, pools and bars are from a different word. I stayed in both classic and superior rooms, the main difference would be the higher stories which will ensure a better view , yet u are already looking to the heaven from the classic floors. Walking distance from the best restaurants of the area, and just down a water sport agent to help enjoy the turquoise sea. Will defiantly bring my family and visit back soon.

Loved the “rocky beach” which consisted of little platforms for chairs and a ladder into the deep clear blue sea. Wow. Not into pools but it was nice.

Excellent trip, about 20 of us at the hotel. We were well looked after, service was great and all the staff very friendly and helpful. Loads of stuff to do nearby and we will all be back again at some point.

The location of this hotel CAN NOT be beat. It’s steps from the grotta and has the best view of palaeokastritsa. We walked from one end of the bay to the other and it was by far the best location. It looks like they’re renovating floor by floor, and unfortunately we were not in one of the rooms that had been upgraded, but we spent so little time in the room it almost didn’t matter. The room itself was not great. personally I didn’t really care about that, but the view from the balcony was TO DIE FOR. Just like the pictures online. I was actually shocked at how gorgeous it was. In late September the sun sets right outside the window, directly between two hills on the other side of the bay. Perfection

The property is in a really beautiful location on one of the most gorgeous beaches! However, the room itself was dated. The bathroom in particular seemed quite old and small - when you shut the bathroom door it is about 1cm from knicking the toilet and to brush your teeth you're practically standing touching the toilet with your legs. The location made up for it but the rooms were not as nice as I was hoping.

Our stay was amazing! We were greeted, taken to our upgraded room, no additional charge, given a welcome refreshing lemonaide at the pool bar. The room was with a private balcony. The room was gorgeous. The bed was extremely comfortable.

Great stay in late September. Hotel is perfectly located for enjoying the sea - swimming and snorkelling on both sides of the hotel. Pool area was nice with great views and the private balcony was good for an evening drink. Room was comfortable, and excellent breakfast options. Lots to see in the area with boat trips from the beach and a bus stop outside.

We just had a perfect week at Akrotiri. Every day we looked forward to the views, breakfasts, pools , beaches (very unique private rocky beach and great public beach), many restaurants and markets in a walking distance.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Akrotiri. The hotel is a jewel on the Paleokasistri peninsula and sea; views are absolutely breathtaking. Pool and beach are very nice (would be great if by staying at the hotel, the beach chairs were included). We were admiring the photos taken of the hotel hanging in the lobby (probably circa 1960) and realized much of the hotel hasn't changed in 60 years . . . the hotel management should consider upgrading the furniture in the hotel lobby and very large lounging room consisting of pool table, TV, sofas and rifle over the fireplace. A lot of large empty spaces could be better utilized to serve families, couples and other travelers. Be sure to visit nearby La Grotta while staying at the Akrotiri. We would recommend staying here to our family & friends.

Location amazing but Very dated common areas, terrible fo9d in hotel restaurant with loud tacky Greek bands during dinner. Rooms were okay, bathrooms need refurbishment. Best bit was definitely the location- stunning beach and beachside restaurants.

We had a great stay. Most amazing views and lovely hotel. We were only slightly disappointing with the check in process. The reception staff didn’t get back to us on room availability when we asked for different floor. We waited for a while before unpacking and had to go back to them and ask for the outcome. We are not complaining about the outcome just the fact they didn’t bother to tell us. All the other staff were amazing. Thank you.

The hotel has a spectacular setting with cliffs on one side and the beach on the other. It has a really nice pool area with lots of seating and views across the bay. All the staff are also really very pleasant to deal with.
My main criticism is the fact that the hotel rooms only have 4 channels on the TV, with a single English language channel, along with a very small 24 inch flatscreen TV in the rooms. The Champions League final soccer match was on during my stay and even in the hotel bar, they had no channel showing the biggest soccer match in Europe for the year. For a 4 star hotel, this is simply totally unacceptable in 2018. The management can sove this by installing a simple satellite dish on the roof.

Would only consider this hotel on B&B basis. The food is terrible. Even at breakfast there are so many faults. Very dilute juice. All cooked food Luke warm and congealed etc. They charge outsiders just 14 euros for a three course dinner, which gives a clue to the lack of quality. Just every corner is cut.
The facilities are ok but half the sun loungers are knackered. The rooms are ok but in need of refreshing. The staff, however, are lovely.
Shame that a hotel in such a good location and with such potential is hit by attempts to save every penny at the expense of guest satisfaction.

A really good base in Paleokastritsa
We just returned from a 10 day holiday at this hotel. It is a great base for Paleokastritsa, which is a stunning area of Corfu. The pool area was great for relaxing during the day. The breakfast was OK but not great and we didn't have dinner in the hotel but there were lots of reasonable tavernas nearby for dinner. All the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.

Paleoskatrias is the best spot to stay in Corfu. This hotel is great has its own pool, private beach on the bay side and its own private cliffs on the sea side. If you want to snorkel and cliff jump, look no further, it's outside of your hotel room.

Friendly staff, great location. Nice buffet. Great selection. Don't miss the yoghurt! Buffet is tastyand fresh. Scrambled eggs over cooked but everything else was very well prepared: plenty of fruit, cereals, juices, bolied eggs, friend eggs- delucious-bacon, salad, sausages, rolls, varieties of bread, crepes, spanalopita, chest pastries, preserves, honey- put it in the yogurt!
Restaurant food -dinner-needs a little more refinement and attention to detail. The prices are very reasonable.

A good Hotel in Paleokastrista
The Hotel receptionists were very helpful with any sightseeing questions we had. The Hotel has good views from both sides of the hotel. The hotel has a lovely swimming pool and was right on the beach where there was also a diving school and two Tavernas. Boats could be hired locally and in Paleo itself.

We absolutely loved our stay. The staff were wonderful, the hotel and our room was beautiful and the location... Just wow! The only negative was that the wifi connection was very weak in our room, which was a little inconvenient as my partner needed access for work. Otherwise, a truely comfortable stay and if highly recommend this wonderful hotel to anyone wishing to visit Paleokastritsa.

Spectacular view from lovely room. without that wouldn't have been impressed. Let down by too little space in pool area and sunbeds being taken by guests who decide part of a holiday is to get up at dawn and get the bed they want by putting their towels on them. Just ridiculous in this day and age. Expect to pay €10 for 2 beds and brolly on public shingle dirty beach. Could have gone somewhere better for the price. Breakfast buffet style wasn't good. Quality awful and not hot at all. Fruit your best option. First and last stay there.

Average hotel in Paleokastritsa
We arrived in Paleokastritsa to a nice welcome from the staff at Akrotiri hotel. First lets get the negatives out of the way. For a 4 star hotel the water pressure in the bathroom was nonexistent the tap hardly worked and the shower wasn't much better. The mini bar fridge could hardly fit in 2 water bottles. The breakfast was enjoyable with a stunning view. There are beautiful beaches around Paleokastritsa but if you really want to take full advantage of the beaches you need to hire a car. We hired a car and were able to travel around the whole island visiting some stunning location. Next time I'd look to stay somewhere else.
