Amazing family friendly hotel in a beautiful area. Great beach, pools, amazing food, nice coctails, and very friendly staff members. We stayed in a family suite with private pool and it was worth it. We definetely want to come back one day.

The only thing that needs improvement is the lift leading to suites which did not work properly throughout our stay.

It was our second time in the hotel. As previously, we have had fantastic experiences with the hotel staff and amenities. The food was great and the drinks were of good quality.

What a lovely trip! Stayed in a private room as a couple with no kids and it was amazing! The buffet area was a little loud if you’re looking for a child free trip and the food was a little meh. But the service was 10/10 the room was 10/10!

We had a lovely weeks stay at Porto Angeli. From the moment you arrive there's a wow factor and the staff go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. We stayed in the junior suite and there was plenty of room for my husband, 2 young children and I. The bed was huuuuuge and we were sad to have to say bye to it! Also having our own pool made the kids' lunchtime naps much more enjoyable for us.

My toddler has food allergies and chef Costas made special dishes for him with a big smile on his face. A special thank you to him. But all staff were so professional and very friendly, including the lovely ladies on reception who couldn't do enough for us. The food was great and varied with plenty of choice. The dining setting outside was lovely. The kids playground was big and had lots to keep little ones entertained.
One day we decided to venture out of the hotel and it was easy to rent a car from the hotel.

We were (and still are!) sad to leave this lovely hotel.

A couple of slight areas for improvement is to mix up the A La Carte menu throughout the week. Also, the temperature of the pools was colder than the sea. It would have been good to have them a little warmer, even if only the kids pool. This did not impact our stay negatively - just ideas for improvement :)

Porto Angeli superb

Just had a great week at Porto Angeli with the family. The food was fantastic and everyone found something to eat even the fussy kids. The resort is very clean and the facilities are good.

We used the gym most days with a good selection of free weights and machines including 2 running machines, cycling machine and 2 cross trainers plus lots of weight machines.

The pools had plenty of loungers and the pool bar is a great place to chill out.

The staff are first class I would highly recommend this and would return.

Being the only black people in the whole entire hotel, we was treated very well and equal. Staff were so kind and patient even when I lost a valueable item, they kept me calmm and helped me search we found it.
Food was amazing and all inclusive was very good. Definitely will be back soon. The only thing is that the hotel was far from places we wanted to go but it was worth it

AVOID - food poisoning and lack of support

We stayed here for 4 nights to celebrate our honeymoon and babymoon. My husband got food poisoning on the first full day we were there - spent the rest of the stay confined to the room as my husband alternated between bathroom and bed. Completely ruined our honeymoon. I reported the incident to the hotel at the time and they were hesitant to even send us up some extra water! They offered us no support other than some bananas on our last day. Really disappointed, I expect so much more from a 5* resort. They are refusing any type of compensation on the basis that we were “offered support from a doctor that we declined” which is completely false - we were never offered this but would have really benefited from it as my husband was so sick and still not recovered.

What an amazing place. We stayed in one of the Adult-Only suits (801) and it was absolutely amazing. Room was modern (being built in 2021 if I’m not wrong) with a private good sized pool and it was one of the end rooms having just one neighbour so couldn’t be more private. View was amazing, waking up to see sea and hills surrounding the resort. Checked in late and there were brilliant sandwiches waiting for us in the fridge along with the bottle of wine to perfectly start our holiday. Food was very good with plenty of different choices every day, a la Carte restaurant was absolutely amazing (as a suite guest you can book it as many times as you want) and Taverna was a great experience to try traditional Greek food. Of course not everything was 10/10 so would rate the hotel beach a bit lower, but there was a lovely beach a bit further away and having a private swimming pool we haven’t used the beach much anyway. Be aware it is a very secluded place so if you fancy a day out on the island you will have to book a car or a taxi to take you to the main road as buses do not go to Porto Angeli although there is a shuttle service in certain hours.
Overall I would highly recommend and we had an awesome time.

We stayed in one of the Gea Suites which was a great size and very clean. The private pool was perfect, and warm from mid afternoon each day. The fridge was stocked everyday with soft drinks and water.

The hotel grounds were immaculate and the restaurants were always clean and hygienic with a great choice of food each day.

Most days we had lunch at the main restaurant or the snack bar, both serving fresh salads, pasta and grilled meats and fish etc. We had one night at the Taverna and 2 nights at the A La Carte which was superb.

Most of the staff were amazing, and special mentions must go to Anastasia on Reception who answered all of our daily questions, and also to Restaurant Manager George. George may be Porto Angeli's biggest asset! From the first day we arrived until we left, George went above and beyond to welcome us and make the Hotel and Rhodes feel like home. This is a great Hotel and we will definitely book again.

The GEA rooms are a fair distance from the main restaurant and a fair trek uphill. So ideal for all adults. However, the rooms and hotel are lovely. A nice way to wake every morning with your own private infinity pool.

This hotel is in a beautiful location and the views from virtually every point in the hotel are beautiful.
The mattress in our room was superb. Check-in was a friendly but lengthy affair.
Maria in the main restaurant was so gracious and hospitable. Konstantin in the sales department pre-arrival was very helpful and kind.
The not so good:
Our air conditioner did not work. We had 2 visits from maintenance, one that got it slowly blowing, but it never actually got cool in the room. As a result, we found ourselves drinking much more water and requested an extra bottle but were told no, one liter per room was the standard and we would just need to deal. Two days of negotiations before we were able to get a 2nd bottle of water on the condition we didn't drink any of the sodas in the \"mini bar\".
The mosquitoes were intense and there was a roach in the bathroom the length of my hand.
Haphazardly applied covid protocols. Guests asked to wear gloves at the buffet, but there were only 3 hand sanitizer stations. Masks were frequently worn below the nose by team members and guests alike and there were no attempts to limit capacity or maintain distance in the restaurant, which was enclosed. Oddly, they did enforce a 2m minimum distance at the beach, which meant there were not enough lounge chairs for most guests to enjoy.
Pre-departure Covid testing at the hotel was easy to schedule but failed to take any distancing measures or sanitize between tests.
Finally: NOT allergy safe at all.

We had the maisonette which was split over two floors and ideal for us as a family with 2 children and wanting some private space for each of us we also had our own private pool which was lovely especially during these strange COVID times

Resort clean and modern. Restaurant at the bottom of steep hill and rooms at the top of the hill. No entertainment. Only mini disco for 30 minutes in the evening but is in German. Resort is predominantly for Germans. We went last week in October and was closing down the following week. One restaurant and pool snack bar closed for season when we arrived and minimal staff which is unfair as we paid a lot of money and was nothing like expected. Would not recommend

Our sea view superior room was very nice with amazing view and all facilities had been stylishly decorated. We were there first week of October & I was surprised that resort was still quite full. Seems to be popular with german and russian package tours. All inclusive restaurant had hundreds of people at the same time so that wasn’t so relaxing experience even food was very good. Beach was nice but mix of sand and stone so beach/swimming shoes recommended. Sea was lovely and warm, pools slightly cooler.

The hotel in its own was great, only 1 min walk to the beach - nice, clean beach. I travel a lot one thing i have to say i have never been to a 5 star hotel where you have to pay for freshly squeezed orange juice!All inclusive resorts , the word itself describes it, they were providing cheap artificial juice machines and selling the fresh juices! Once the food in mini bars were finished, they never refilled - in such a huge hotel you would expect fresh food to be provided throughout the day. After third day the food buffet was becoming very repetitive.
Overall the experience was good, staff were nice and friendly apart from Lisa the receptionist, she is nothing but a racist individual! Husband and I approached inquiring for car rentals, i have no idea how she got into political and religious discussions about Turkish military air-forces that went over Stegna beach on one of the days, she even had the courage to go into islamic discussion about how Erdogan filled 'THEIR' islands with muslim refugees, they know nothing but how to produce kids every nine months!??? really is this what i should expect from a hotel member of staff? it also bothers her how nice and quiet Rhodes island is after October because there are less 'foreigners'? Again we are not foreigners we are tourists! I have to make this clear, she speaks perfect english and german so it had nothing to do with lack of language skills it was more to do with racism.

This hotel was very nice. We booked a suite with a pool in it which was great. The water in the pool was very cold though. The walk around the resort was a bit hilly. The hotel was 90% full of German tourists, with very few English tourists.

The staff at this hotel made the whole experience even better. There is a good kids club and lots of entertainment for the families. The hotel is set on quite a remote part of the island so there isn’t anywhere to visit unless you arrange day trips.

The travel time from the airport is about 50 minutes and costs between 50-60 Euros one way.

Lovely hotel close to the beach.
The staff (especially on reception) were very helpful and couldn’t do enough to help.
The food was lovely, lots of choice, well presented and hot.
The whole resort was very clean.
Guests were from a number of countries but all friendly and there was a family friendly environment.
The lounge was a lovely area, relaxing and comfortable.

If you are going with the children they have a very nice playground but swimming Pool is not the best. I did upgrade my room as I did not like the first room. please keep in mind that this is a four-star not a 5 hotel. I would definitely stay again

Very good food and service, clean rooms. Comfortable rooms. We were beside the pool, sometimes too loud music. Animation with clown a bit boring, everytime the same programme. And we have feeling that we are in German geto, almost everything was adjusted for Germans, silly.

Lovely hotel in nice quiet resort

We had a lovely time. We arrived at 10pm, we were given a nice cold meal. Our suitcases were taken to our room. We were then left to make our own way to our room- which wasn't easy as large hotels with many blocks. We were happy with our family room although the bathroom didn't have a window. The room was cleaned to a high standard every day. The restaurant was well managed and food was good. Staff at hotel were mainly pleasant esp in restaurant. The bars however always seemed under staffed, they were always running out of glasses n the wait was often long. Pools and communal areas well kept. Hard to get sun beds always as people would put towels on the beds and leave them vacant for hours on end. The night time entertainent was lacking even by our 6yr olds standards. Surrounding area nice, restaurants and locals couldn't of been more lovely. Area quiet but enough for a relaxing weeks holiday.

The idyllic gem that is Port Angeli,Stegna,Rhodes.

The location was beautiful. A small village a couple of kilometres from the main road on the coast. Set at the foot of beautiful rocky outcrop of hills. The rocks envelop a lovely beach. The water is clear lovely to bathe and snorkel in. The hotel staff were excellent, very polite, courteous and responsive.

The quality of accommodation, food and overall amenity was very good. My only complaint was the litter on the beach of the surrounding areas. Some people are just irresponsible and the frontagers of the other parts of the beach do not look after the beach as well as the hotel did theirs.

We had a very relaxing holiday and would definitely go back.

Nice hotel close to the beach!!!!

The bartenders are amazing!!! Can make any drink you want and very friendly and welcoming, gave us advice on things to do on the island and also gave us advice on what places to eat!! The hotel staff is extremely friendly as well!! Beds are not that comfortable kind of firm but we still slept well. Hotel is extremely close to the beach and they have their own area reserved for you to sunbathe. Close to a lot of amazing restaurants within walking distance.

Tired hotel in need of some love.

Spent two nights. Food was mostly packaged. We weren't aware we had booked an all inclusive until we arrived, immediately we were disappointed, fearful of the quality to come. Our room location was awesome. We were on the corner of a section of rooms with their own pools, the outdoor space was great, pool all to ourself and had sun all day long. The room itself was dilapidated and extremely smokey. We requested a move, the front desk staff were very attentive to offer another room in the same section. We opted to stay put and keep our sunshine & suck up the interior. We wouldn't stay here again but would recommend it for those with children, seemed very appropriate for children.

Incredibly relaxing stay at a lovely quiet resort, with great grounds and helpful staff. Food buffet was of a high quality and all the different elements made sense together - one of our usual bugbears about other all inclusive hotels. The local beer and spirits available as part of the deal were fine and there were lots of reasonably priced local restaurants in the vicinity if you wanted to get out and about.

The animation team weren't too intrusive although there was lots to do if you wanted to do it. We tried the evening entertainment one night, and that was probably the one less than perfect thing - very awkward audience participation affair, although we accepted that it was off season so perhaps not up to it's best strength just yet, and the staff themselves were enthusiastic and friendly so you routed for them - if you're not in a family (we were a couple staying) maybe not for you.

Nice hotel, great views and convenient location

Arrived late evening and given a double room rather than a twin with sea view, got relocated to a different room for that night (twin with garden view). Next morning we were upgraded to a suite which had fantastic panoramic sea views. Room was lovely and clean- newly decorated. Pools for adults and separate ones for children. May time we visited and the hotel wasn't too busy or crowded. Could easily get sun beds near pool if wanted. Hotel also had beach section which they maintained and that you could take inclusive drinks down on to. Overall great hotel for a visit in May.

Pleasant stay with children

This is a nice quite hotel at the end of a small bay village. The beach is right out of the hotel, you cross a small almost empty road (smaller then it appears on google maps). The beach is sandy, some stones around and rocks in the sea that set a spectacular view at the bay. Children will find what to play with and where to snorkel. A lot of fish swims right under your feet (we counted about 20 species and saw an octopus). Thanks to location in the lagoon the water is always calm and very warm. We observed no waves during our whole stay which is perfect for small children.
We had a nice sea view room on the second floor (212) of Zefiros building. The view was splendid. There is a backyard garden based on the roof of the first floor that you face when you walk out of your room. First we got a room on the first floor (109), but we found it a bit dark. The double bed was huge, but we lacked free space because of the additional child's bed. It was much brighter and spacious on the second floor (but the bed is smaller). In room 109 the balcony partially overlooks the restaurant.
The all inclusive food is a standard mediterranean buffet. Coffee and local beer are very nice. For children we would advise to bring some baby food with you, just in case.

Fantastic all inclusive hotel - best I've been to

We absolutely loved everything about this hotel. We can't praise it enough. I've been to many many all-inclusive hotels over the years but this was by far the best. All the staff were so friendly, the hotel was all very clean and the grounds extremely well-kept, the food was excellent, and we had a room with a private pool which really was worth the extra money for that added touch of luxury and tranquillity.

All inclusive deal competitive but didn't include drinks in room and for some reason Frappe Coffee was charged at one Euro.
Food quality generally good but not particularly imaginative.
Room clean and well equipped ( we were lucky and a comfortable distance from the restaurant / bar and pool areas, some looked uncomfortably close to the noise)
Found the evening entertainment dire ( but then maybe OK for young families).
Good beach with plenty of sun beds.
Local restaurants good value.

Great hotel with everything you could want.

We've just come back from a week at porto angeli. The hotel was great, it had everything you could want. The staff were very friendly, the facilities were clean and very good and the food was nice. What made it all the more enjoyable was the amazing view.

Stegna itself was quite a quiet place which is nice if you want to just relax. We were there at the end of the season though so it should be quieter. Best bit of advice we had before going was to hire a car so you can get out and about.

Good hotel for a multi-lingual family with kids

Listing positives first the hotel is clean, and the staff is nice. There is free Wi-Fi in the lobby. All food and drinks are included but don't expect any top brands, good wine or gourmet dishes. The beds are the hardest I have ever slept on. This is a hotel for families with small children so I wouldn't recommend it for singles or couples. Most people speak English but there were as many people from the Eastern block as there were Europeans.

Fantastic all inclusive package

We made a late booking and were very happy with the all inclusive package we were offered. The hotel is located at the Southern end of Stegna Beach (20 mins drive South of Faliraki) with its own beach. The rooms are very smart and there are different prices for sea or hillside views; there is also the option of having a room with a private plunge pool. The restaurant offers a wide range of food options at each meal with different themes each day. The main pool/bar area has a childrens area - there is a another large pool further up the hill. - The site is so spread out you never feel crowded in. The clientele are mostly Russian, German and Polish but don't let that deter you. A great venue for couples or families alike.

Smashing time.

We had a great two weeks at this hotel and the quiet location of Stegna. We can recommend the restaurant Aroma for attentive service and quality home cooked food. The owner and his family made us welcome when we grew tired of the hotel food. We thought overall the food at the hotel was great our only comment being that the meat tended to be overlooked and there was a lack of fresh fruit available. The cleanliness of the grounds and the attention to the gardens was pleasing. Beach was great and plenty of sun beds and parasols. Room 131 was spacious and kept beautifully clean during our two weeks. We hired a car for 4 days for €100 and explored Rhodes old town, Lindos and a place called ' Seven Springs ' lovely on a hot day. Only 35 km from airport on decent roads.

Troisième séjours dans cet excellent hôtel, très très propre, tout le personnel est d'une grande amabilité, accueillant, souriant de service.
Buffet varié ,de qualité et bien fourni, restaurants et bars au top également, spécialités grecs et autres .
Emplacement exceptionnel , les pieds dans l'eau avec des coussins de transats qui sont la garantie dune journée de plage d'un grand confort et de belle siestes !!

Service, sauberkeit, essen und vor allem trinken ist einfach schlecht. Wir sind da schon oft in Hotels gewesen und wir müssen sagen, dass in anderen Hotels viel mehr angeboten wird. Zimmer sind zb null 5 Sterne höchstens 3 Sterne. Alles in allem würde ich das Hotel als ein 3 Sterne Hotel bewerten. Liebe Grüße

Herausragend ist der Service und das vielfältige und sehr leckere Essen.
Das Hotel verfügt über eine tolle Anlage mit mehreren Pools, die sich über die Anlage verteilen.
Das Hotel liegt in der Stegna Bucht und ist von außen kaum als Hotel erkennbar, weil die Gebäude sich hervorragend in die Landschaft einfügen.
Man benötigt allerdings einen Mietwagen, um aus der Bucht raus zu kommen, der aber bequem im Hotel buchbar ist. Ein öffentlicher Bus fährt lediglich nach Rhodos Stadt.
2 Buchen weiter befindet sich der tolle Sandstrand von Tsambika Beach mit viel Trubel, Wasserpark, großer Sanddüne und einem langgezogenen Sandstrand. Der Strand ist ein Ausflug wert.

Insgesamt ist Rhodos eine tolle Insel mit einer schönen Landschaft.
Wir kommen gern wieder.

Helt okej hotell!

Helt okej hotell! Vi fick veta i receptionen vid incheckning att det gick ett virus på hotellet. Dag två drabbades vi av det och fick en lättare magsjuka. Som kompensation fick vi checka ut på kvällen när vi skulle resa hem, vilket var toppen. Vi hade myror i badrummet och vid ett tillfälle slutade toaletten att fungera, vi fick säga till flera gånger för att få det fixat. Maten blev bättre och bättre under veckan men vi undvek matstället vid poolen efter ”magsjukan”. Dryck var dålig överlag. Totalt sett så är vi ändå nöjda med hotellet, men man förväntar sig lite mer när det är femstjärnigt.

Sehr schöne, weitläufige, gepflegte Anlage, verteilt auf mehrere Bungalows in unterschiedlichen Preisklassen. Personal ist zuvorkommend, freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wird sofort um deinen Anliegen gekümmert, sogar bei der Abreise haben Sie für uns um 6:00 morgens den Restaurant aufgemacht. Es gibt viele Parkmöglichkeiten auf dem Gelände. Am Strand haben wir immer ein Plätzchen gefunden, Liegen und Sonnenschirme kostenlos. Animation für Minis und Maxis war abwechslungsreich und hat Spaß gemacht.
Vor allem waren wir mit dem Service im Hauptrestaurant zufrieden, großes Lob.
Wir empfehlen Hotel Porto Angeli Beach Resort auf jeden Fall weiter und kommen wieder;)

Wir hatten eine Gea Suite mit eigenem Pool, diese war sehr schön und die Aussicht perfekt aufs Meer.
Das Essen im Hauptrestaurant hat uns nicht befriedigt. Das Essen im Aurora ist fein aber es ist die gleiche Karte, die ganze Zeit, was etwas langweilig war.

Nicht so gut:
- Betten (Lattenrost war eine gebrochene Sperrholzplatte, nach Beschwerde hätten wir in ein anderes Zimmer umziehen können)
- Cocktails ziemlich wässrig
- Umgebung bietet zwar einige Restaurants, ist aber nicht sonderlich schön (Stegna), daher lohnt es sich, in der Anlage zu bleiben

Yleiskuva erittäin hyvä. Miinusta kylmistä uima-altaista, erityisesti lastenaltaan olisi toivonut olevan lämmitetty. Aktiviteetit (pingis, tenniskenttä, lasten vesiliukumäet) päässyt aikalailla huonoon kuntoon. Palvelu välillä nihkeää. Lasten leikkikenttä hyvässä kunnossa ja monipuolinen. Huonesiivous toimi hyvin. Absolut kein 5 Stern Hotel, eher ein 3 Stern Hotel. Sehr asoziale Gäste, am morgen früh schon überall Badetücher auf den Liegestühlen, den ganzen Tag Kindergeschreih und zum Essen sehr langes anstehen für das Essen was nicht mal fein ist. Personal sehr unfreundlich. Getränke schmecken nach Chlor und Cocktails nicht trinkbar.

Dette sted er fantastisk - intet mindre!
Vi havde booket et maisonette med egen pool. Det var det hele værd. Fantastisk indrettet, da der var to afdelinger. Bad/ wc, altaner, køleskab mv. på begge etager. Disse huse ligger på bjergskråningen, så man har den skønneste udsigt over havet. Hver morgen kan man nyde solopgangen enten fra terrassen eller fra sin seng.
På stedet er der mulighed for á la carte restaurant. En rigtig god oplevelse. Restauranten er et fint afbræk fra den store restaurant med buffet. Her var der ellers en fin afveksling i maden. Dog opstod der ikke \"restaurant hygge\" på samme måde - nok mest grundet størrelsen og lidt travlhed.
Fællesområderne var ligeledes fine.
Få meter fra hotellet er den skønneste strand. Snorkling her kan anbefales i det der er mange fisk at kigge på.

Das Zimmer, die Terrasse und die Aussicht waren fantastisch. Die Betten weich, der Service richtig gut. Wir haben und sehr wohl gefühlt. Alles war wie beschrieben vorhanden. Minibar, Kaffee und Tee wurden täglich aufgefüllt. Wir können die Juniorsuite sehr empfehlen.
