Unbelievable views of the port and castle, very peaceful location, 20 minutes walk to the port, staff were all very friendly. The attached restaurant was also fantastic.

The hotel was beautiful. The breakfast was excellent, and the service was outstanding. There is a bus that runs by the hotel, and if you walk 10 minutes, you will find many more buses to choose from. We walked from the port the first time, but I do not recommend it as it was a 30-minute walk, in the sun, uphill.

Our room featured a lovely backyard area with a stunning scenery, making every moment feel magical. Ischia is a place I will always return to in Italy. On our first night, we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, and the food, service, and view were all outstanding. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was fresh every morning. Overall, this was one of our favorite places we stayed during our Italy trip, and it will forever hold a special place in our hearts as the spot where we got engaged on July 14th. We can’t wait to visit again!

Staff was great, breakfast was delicious. It is quite a hike up the hill from the port, so I do recommend buying a bus pass when you get off the ferry. There is a bus stop directly across from the hotel.

Staff and views were amazing and this is what makes it for me. However its in great need of redecoration and repair certainly to the room i stayed in. Its on an extremely steep hill so you need to be fit. The pictures are a bit deceiving as there isnt a pool either. The food was pretty good.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Villa Ireos, specifically the staff we fantastic. Very friendly, helpful, and good natured. The hotel room itself was nice, and the view was spectacular. The hotel restaurant attached was good too, would recommend eating there. Shoutout to Roberto, who was an extremely helpful staff member there.
The only let down was that the beds provided were not the most comfortable. They were two single beds pushed together rather than a double, or the sort.

Lovely property just as described. Staff were amazing friendly and helpful. . Hard to find as Expedia has the address as Ischia but it is in Casamicciola Terme. Shower is small 60cm x 60 cm. Which is Fine as long as you know. It is a careful walk to Ischia port as road is so narrow. Took us 15 minutes. Would stay again

The breakfast was delicious, and the dinner service was superb (with still an amazing view). The staff was friendly, efficient and despite our lack of Italian, made every effort to help us in every way. An excellent stay in a lovely place. It was a 15 minute walk to town, granted uphill to return to the hotel, However, the quiet and the view were completely worth it. Important to us, the beds were very good.

August 2015 stay basic hotel
Stayed here in August , only 1km from the port but up a steep hill both ends. No swimming pool here like other hotels close by, rooms much more basic than photos advertised , mini bar prices expensive for 3 star hotel which this hotel is classed. Breakfast ok nothing special. It would be good if the hotel offered a complimentary shuttle bus regularly service for guests to accommodate them and provide a puck up from the port .

When we arrived, we decided to walk to the hotel... It was a steep walk all up hill. Got a good workout. Hotel has an amazing view. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our time. Rodolfo was great and recommended a nice restaurant for dinner- Coco Gelo. Yum!

Es mejor de lo que se puede apreciar en las fotos. 100% recomendable. El personal súper atento y amable, las instalaciones limpias y cuidadas. Volveríamos sin duda alguna!!. El colectivo NRO 3 te deja en la puerta desde Casamicciola terme. Las vistas desde las habitaciones y la terraza del comedor son alucinantes.

Sehr gemütliches, gepflegtes Hotel mit grossartiger Aussicht, schön eingerichtete, geräumige Zimmer, tolle Terrasse für Frühstück und Nachtessen (bei köstlicher Küche) und gepflegte Parkanlage. Familiengeführt mit langer Geschichte, sehr sympathische Besitzer mit sehr freundlichem Team, die sich um das Wohl der Gäste bemühen. Bushaltestelle unmittelbar vor dem Hotel, aber auch zu Fuss gut ab Hafen erreichbar. Aufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen.

This accommodation is wonderful. Very clean. The staff so attentive. Familiar and individual, the likes of which Italy cannot offer. A dream the view over the Gulf of Naples, Ischia and the breakfast with sunrise directly above the Castello, the landmark of Ischia. it is so quiet and yet so central. 5 minutes from the bus stop. The bus travels around the entire island and the ticket costs only 14 euros for a week.
I have nothing to complain about. The fact that there is no whole grain bread for breakfast in Italy is not a real drawback. Rather normal. If I come to Ischia again, I will book this hotel again.

Vi bodde på Villa Hotel Ireos i 8 nätter och vi hade fantastisk upplevelse! Utsikten från hotellet är exakt lika, om inte ännu vackrare som på bilderna. Vi bodde i ett av rummen med en terass med en helt underbar utsikt över Ischia Porto och Castello. Rummen är precis som på bilderna, enkla men rena med bra förvaring och air condition. Personalen på hotellet är jättehjälpsam och trevlig, de hjälpte oss med allt ifrån att hyra moppe till att få fler kuddar. Helt klart ett stort plus för hotellet. Vi önskar att vi minns deras namn för att kunna tacka dem personligen. Stort plus återigen.
Frukosten var bra! Det fanns ägg, bröd, yoghurt, frukt och massor med olika bakverk så som croissant och citrokaka.

This villa is perfect. From the port of Ischia it’s a 20min walk or 5min with a scooter/car. The rooms are always clean with a terrace that has an unbelievable view of the coast of Napoli. Next to the villa they have their restaurant Nibili. They have delicious food and drinks/wine all fresh from natural products of the island. The staff is really friendly and helpfull. They all speak both italian and english. I had a perfect week here, it’s really worth it staying here!

The environment and the view are very nice, the staff is kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the good things end here! I haven't read any reviews that the bathroom is terrible! It's all very small! The shower cabin is a nightmare! The shower tray is 60x60 cm, the shower hose hangs in your face when you shower! It is impossible to bend down, but it is difficult to move either! I think my partner and I are average-sized people, 175-180 cm tall and 85-95 kg, but it was a challenge to wash in this shower! The toilet seat is the cheapest crappy plastic. It was cleaned properly, but the whole place shows that it was renovated a long time ago, which makes it unfortunately feel neglected, even if it is clean. The mini fridge is also rusty and has no shelves. Patio furniture is the cheapest plastic. Do not put your elbows on the table, because it will collapse. The clothes dryer is rusty. There is a small TV, but there are only Italian language channels. It's true, we didn't come to watch TV, but it would have been nice to have at least a couple of English-language channels, or a smart TV where we could watch TV in our own language with our own tickets. We didn't put it in the closet because it had a musty smell. The bed is comfortable, although one half was a little creaky. Two single beds were pushed together, not a double bed, but this would not have been such a problem. The 1 pillow was a bit flat for me. We expected slightly better conditions for a 3-star hotel! Hotellet har den bästa utsikten man kan tänka sig. Grupper kommer och beundrar den från hotellets bar. Det är värt att ta sig från hamnen och ca 1,5 km i uppförsbacke. När vi besökt hotellets restaurang fanns inget behov av att vara nere i byn mer. God mat serverad med graciös vänlighet. Rummen har en liten terass med utsikt. Det bästa med hotellet är personalen. Alla talar inte så bra engelska men hjälper till med allt de förmår. Frågade efter en separat hårfön, den på väggen är inte så effektiv, och två timmar senare hade jag en nyinköpt perfekt hårfön! Återvänder gärna till denna oas och vänliga service.

We had a lovely stay at Villa Ireos! Fantastic view over the city, helpful staff (only one speaks English but everyone is really helpful no matter of language skills), nice breakfast, comfortable room with a small private terrace with sea view. Only trouble we had was that the map from hotels.com showed the wrong location - the hotel is located a 20 minuters walk from Porta up a hill. So if you have any trouble with walking but want to stay at the hotel, be prepared to rent a car or take a taxi.
