I needed a quick place to crash for cheeep . This was it . The kid checking me in was very nice . Honestly the entire hotel smelled like weed . As soon as you walk into the lobby to moment I got to my room. As for my room. Lots of pillows l like that . The mattres was hard . Like I feel the springs in my back hard. And the air conditioner was subpar at best pushing out at 60*

Yikes. We stayed here in April 2026 and it was NOT GOOD. I’d read reviews online that made it look okay but it is not. The rooms were dirty and need repair (loose floor tiles, tape on the window), the breakfast was not fresh, and the whole place smelled like weed. Then next door they blasted music early in the morning. I would never stay here with kids.

Staff was friendly. The elevator was very dirty, which appeared to have built up over time. Two of the three lights in the bathroom were burned out. The only lamp was between the beds, the fan in the heating unit would not turn off, and no phone to call the desk. Discarded cans and food wrappers littered outside. Last but not least- fresh smell of heavy cigarette smoke in the bathroom, with no other rooms available. Would not recommend! Why did we stay? Did not get a refundable room… lesson learned…

The bed was the cleanest part of the entire room.
The floor was dirty it had shoe tracks in the bathroom and leaves right on the inside of the door. Several tiles in the bathroom were broke. The towels had black marks on them.
The entire floor my room was on smelled of cigarette smoke.
The morning i went to leave the elevator was not working.

1st floor and lobby smelled like Marijuana. Our room o the second floor including the hallway smelled like smoke. They graciously allowed us to switch rooms to the 3rd floor. Music was heard as soon as stepping off elevator. It penetrated our room. Past 10pm and tgen again at 7am.

They gave me a room on the 3rd floor then told me the elevator was broken. There were Walmart carts in the hallway along with trash & food. The bannister on the stairs was broken. The sink was real low and mold in my bathroom. The breakfast was cheap crap. My floor smelled like burning food.

Room wasn’t cleaned well. There was a dirty blanket left on my bed. Shower did not look clean. When we walked into the room, there was no light. The only lights that worked with the lamps. We could not have access to the pool we had to have staff open the door for us and then they would not give us pool towels. The elevator was broken and so me and my three children had to carry up all of our bags. The pool had way too much chlorine in it. We had goggles on and could not see! It was so cloudy! The overall look of the hotel felt kind of trashy. I stayed here because I thought it was going to be nice because I have worked at this location before many years ago and it used to be extremely nice. I will not be staying at this hotel again. To top it off there was a cockroach in our bathroom.

Was not up to the usual Comfort Inn standards that I am used to. Lots of minor issues. No towel or clothes hooks in the bathroom; toilet seat loose, mount for body lotion supply not working; bare wires out of the room ceiling--made one wonder if there was a working fire alarm; TV picture was not in focus--no working guide available, very few channels; breakfast Orange Juice not working, breakfast coffee machine \"out of order\" on a very cold Monday morning. Friendly staff!

Last minute stay on a one night trip.
Booked a room- upon arrival and check in noticed excessive trash in the parking lot. Got our room keys and went to our room. The room was dirty. Garbage left in the room. Beds not made.
Asked for a second room. Customer service handled it ok- got us another room. The beds were made and the towels looked to be ok. But underneath the chair was a sticky spilled mess. The pillows were tiny. The window had like 30 stickers that a kid must have stuck on there. Morning breakfast was not great. Kids enjoyed their fruit loops. I almost spit out the coffee it was so bad. We were only there for 8 hours thankfully.

We had a late check-in, which was fine until we got into the room. There was something sticky all over the floor by the one bed when I looked under the chair there was a pile of orange juice spilt all over the floor with the orange juice bottles still under the chair you know it was there for a while because it was very tacky also at 4:38 AM. The power went out and never returned. Had the worst night sleep because the power was out and we checked out, very early around 8 AM and walking down the stairs from the second floor in the dark because of no power when we got up to check out the man at the counter, said that he had no idea why the power was out and they would be offering some type of a refund, which I’ve never received or heard from them since we checked out very poor effort on their part would not recommend to stay there

The common areas and the rooms weren't particularly clean. The hotel is under renovation, but the building permit is from last December, and it doesn't seem that much has been done. The renovations that have been done are quite shoddy.
Our bed had a sheet that had apparently not been washed but just turned inside out. (We were given a new one). In the morning there was no power in the building, although this was apparently the result of an accident outside of the hotel.

Woke up to no power in the hotel and no communication from the hotel as to what was going on. Thankfully, I was able to walk down from the third floor and the attendant retrieved my luggage for me. Breakfast area was dirty/contaminated from construction/renovation. Hotel was not even remotely close to being safe or secure. Pretty sure I interrupted a man attempting to break in to a room on the 2nd floor, a few doors down from our room. Never seen a pool area that is completely open, visually, from the check-in lobby. No hint of privacy as a paying guest. Staff was polite, but indistinguishable from construction crew. Room needs MAJOR renovation and/or deep cleaning. Television options are absolutely pathetic.

The breakfast menu consisted of pizza hot pockets and microwavable White Castle burgers one morning and plain bagels and white bread the next morning. No fresh fruit available from what we saw. They are renovating the hotel so there is understandable clutter when you enter the doors, but the room was just dirty. When we stepped out of the shower onto the floor, we would leave behind dirt footprints, and you could visibly see how the floor was not cleaned or washed recently as there were stains and debris and actual dirt caked onto the floor. The tub had a very old sticker still left on from when it was purchased. A poor attempt was made to scrape it off. One of the towels had a visible brown mark that appeared new, not a stain. A kitchenette was listed as being a part of the room but it was a mini fridge and a mini microwave placed in the dresser of the room. The bed was stiff but the pillows were very comfortable and the bed appeared and felt clean, thankfully. The TV did not work upon our arrival because it could not connect to the internet and the WiFi was unusable because the signal was so poor. All members of the staff that we interacted with were very kind and they were helpful when we needed them to fix our TV and update our door key so we could get access to our room on the 2nd night, but the amenities listed aren’t accurate and it was very unclean. The area is nice and safe but I will not stay here again.

You can tell a man cleaned the room. It was half cleaned. The floors were nasty. For example The white mat you put down in front of the shower in the bathroom was black after you picked it up off the floor. I watched roaches crawl all over the mirror. The floors in the rooms were not safe they were soft like they were about to cave in. There were renovations which fine we understood they were in the waiting/ lounge area mainly. The breakfast wasn’t that great not a lot of items out. The three days we were there nothing was stocked then the receptions tried to tell me that the items were out there when they were not. Waffle machine wasn’t able to be in use supposedly because of the renovations and the dust it caused(this was day three for us) and it was in use the last two days.. but all the other food that was out were covered in the dust and still left out. Definitely could’ve been a better visit especially for the price we paid for the whole weekend.
One thing we did like about the place is the fact it had a pool and weight room.

We booked this hotel through Hotels.com (despite the inflated rate due to the home Notre Dame football game), so that we could watch our granddaughter play softball at Notre Dame the next morning. We drove 2.5 hours to arrive early to watch the MSU Spartans’ football game in the anticipated “comfort” of our hotel room.
Upon arrival, we were surprised to see that the place was under renovation, which was not mentioned on the website. The area just off of the lobby where the included continental breakfast was to be served was in total disarray with the construction/refurb ongoing. We were assured that it would be in proper condition for the next morning, although we noticed that the toaster sat openly on the counter collecting the airborne particles. We ultimately passed on the breakfast, not being fond of sawdust and drywall dust on our bagels!
While our room was clean, the TV did not work. After trying to placate us by changing our room and playing with the TV remotes in both rooms, staff eventually admitted that the TV’s were just recently installed and hadn’t been hooked up to the cable/satellite network yet. We gave up on the hotel TV’s and went to a sports bar to watch our game.
The next morning, we discovered that the room didn’t have the hairdryer that was one of the listed amenities. We tried to call the front desk, but the room phone didn’t work either. Management and staff have been unresponsive to our requests for a refund or rate adjustment.

Hard spring filled beds, leaking ceiling, uneven titles, dirty floors, 420 smells everywhere, rough clientele, and dirty towels. My kids are 55lbs and 59lbs and their hips & shoulders hurt. Don’t even ask about the adults; we are wrecked. The only saving grace: the Mom and daughter are super friendly and trying their best. The elevator is super small and very scary sounding and jerking. They are under construction and all done very cheap. We gave the place a shot but all set. The other reviews make seem this place is amazing, if you need very cheap place to stay and not keen on anything special; this is it. Breakfast is not too bad but again room temp and done on the extreme cheap.

My mother is 82 and we were concerned about her health and what she was feeling. So I decided the best thing was to go down the street to the Hampton Inn. The staff was understanding, not the way we wanted to start our Girls trip.

When we booked the hotel online, the pictures they represented it was of a beautiful, remodeled hotel with a nice swimming pool and a beautiful parking area and the rooms in the guest areas were very nice but when we got there, the hotel was under construction they had plenty of mess inside the parking lot. There was construction vehicles. The inside had materials laying all over the floor. The pool was not completed. It was totally demolished. The hallways were painted and done, but they were done very slowly. The rooms inside were not finished. Our restroom did not even. . The rooms inside we’re not finished. Our restroom. Did not even have any towel racks to hang on our towels on and also the air conditioning heating unit inside. The room was not satisfactory. It didn’t work properly. Had we known that this was under construction we would’ve never stayed there. It wasn’t worth the money that we spent at all.
The staff was friendly enough, but there was very little staff, and in fact, they maintain the property on a daily basis of changing the beds and doing the rooms. It was a family oriented business..

This hotel was well-rated, but they were in a full blown remodel. This was not identified at the time I booked. I looked specifically for a pool. This had one, but under construction. And so this feature was misrepresented. They seemed to be working in spaces and not in others. Our room was a King with adjoining room. The door in between was all taped off for painting. Our room was partially done. There was grout on the floor from tiling in bathroom, light fixture had paint splattered. The sink drain could not be closed to use to put in contact lens as there was no drain stem to pull the drain closed. There was no blow dryer available. There was new carpeting in the hallways, but it was not vacuumed and lots of debris from the remodel covered this carpeting. I do feel the bedding was clean and the breakfast was decent. Could hear lots of noise above during the night. The hotel staff were very polite and tried their best to make lemonade out lemons. 2 stars is probably a very generous review.

The room was clean and nice. Only one sink in the bathroom but it was clean. All supplies was there: towels, soap, etc. But the elevator was very dirty and the stairs was marked with plaster and dirt because the hotel is undergoing renovation. The staff were very kind and helpful. I haven’t eaten breakfast yet because we just arrived tonite.

Major renovation going on. It will be nice when completed but very noisey and uninviting on the first floor. Second floor was quieter but the painting etc that was done was messy at best.

Under Construction Nightmare

The hotel was under construction for renovation. They put us in a room that had blood stains on the bed and the room was dirty. I went to tell the front desk and was told they had been having problems with housekeeping and would have it cleaned when we got back. When we returned the room had not been touched. Call the front desk again and was told housekeeping was gone for the day and we can change the sheets ourselves. I asked for another room at this point and was given another room. I have pictures of the horrible conditions we were subjected to.
