We saw the pictures and decided to go there. It’s way out of the way from the city. The town is very dirty very safe. The hotel was the same. It smelled horrible in the people were very rude that worked there

Comfortable hotel with nice pool. The experience wasn't 4 star. Grubby windows, untended front garden and chipped plates which ran out during breakfast were examples of details missed. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it seemed expensive for a charmless partioned space in the hotel lobby. Other choices locally we're OK but limited.

Very well presented garden area around the pool, misleading details about the beach access but once you get used to that and the walk across the main road it’s a decent place to stay for access to the area. Staff were very helpful and happy to engage. Breakfast buffet was decent too.

Lovely hotel, very clean and well kept with friendly staff. Showers arent great, not much pressure and really small. Breakfast was sufficient, we didnt eat dinner in hotel but theres a few restaurants around that are worth a visit, goblin pizzas just round the corner was our favourite and theres La miniera del Pesce only 2-3 minutes drive. The beach near the hotel is pebbles and the water is pretty rough, i probably wouldnt recommended this hotel if your looking to stay in the area for the duration of your holiday but as a base if your driving out daily then yes.

Unfortunately at 7pm was been closed. Being summer season and at 9pm becomes dark , I believe is they should keep the pool open until 8pm at least.

Room was big and clean, just an advise to do a deep cleaning for who stays more then 3 days.

Breakfast not so many choices. Most based on sweets then actual food. I fully understand is Italian standard to have a cappucino and croissant, but then dont put English breakfast on the website.

Was strange to see that everything on the side asking you had to pay... such as fountain water, to use the iron .

I work in hotels and this hotel has potential, just needs more good marketing, how you sell it

Ok stay, but a very dated hotel

The hotel is very tired and old, and in dire need of refurbishment. The decor is 90s drab and the melamine beige is just a bit too depressing. Breakfast is very limited and poor quality for a 4*. For the price it is not worth it and I wouldn’t recommend.

Listed as a 4 star hotel but it’s closer to 2.5 stars. No amenities in the room, not even a free bottle of water or a kettle. Coffee/ tea always had to be purchased at the bar. No lunch offering, not even a vending machine. It’s an area where the majority of the restaurants and cafes close in the afternoon which left no options for lunch but to head to the local Spar supermarket to buy sandwiches or you’ll need to plan to have lunch before everything closes. The staff were very friendly but it didn’t make up for the lack of options available in the hotel or the surrounding areas.

The area around the hotel is nice the swimming pool gives a charm to the place which has been cleverly built. It feels slightly dated but i have seen way worse, so it didn't feel bad. Some pieces of furniture would though need some repair (rusted tower hanger, wood in the bathroom was quite damaged by time...).

Balcony was nice, but furniture had a disgusting smell of cold tobacco so wasn't really enjoyable...
Room was good. Again dated, difficult to find some electricity to charge the phone (in the 1990s those issues didn't exist) but after unplugging the bedside table all fine.

The breakfast wasn't good... Dry cakes, tasteless croissants, etc which is to be expected in a hotel.
I had paid extra for the dinner at the hotel and do not do it ! You might have your money worth for the quantity (as it is a buffet) but quality is not there. So pay less, go outside and get some proper food, it is italy you have plenty of choice around, don't do that to yourself !

It is outside of Cagliari but well connected to transportation and in a nice environment.

The hotel gets 4 stars despite the critics as it is also cheaper than most around. So it is definitely a good ratio price/quality if you do not eat there. If you eat there, the hotel is way overpriced for the quality !

Last minute booking

It was literally booked on the way driving down from Bosa to Calgiari since we had cancelled another. The hotel was unexpectedly beautiful, with huge pool, peaceful, surrounded by nature, lagoon and offering top quality food and rooms. Parking on the surrounding grounds free and always available.
Last but not least to the most polite and very competent English speaking (multi-lingual) staff always ready to be of assistance.

My husband and I really liked this hotel. It was really close to the beach but whenever we wanted something more relaxing went to the pool at the hotel. You can visit Cagliari really easily on a bus. The staff is really friendly and told us where to eat close to the hotel, we recommend Maddalena.

We both really liked the ability to relax around the garden and pool area, around 15 mins each way by bus into Cagliari but well worth it if you enjoy outside space. Also the hotel restaurant evening meal and staff all very good. Suitable for families with young children would also enjoy this hotel.

The hotel is an oasis in a cultural desert. The hotel is wonderful, staff are wonderful but you DO need a car to get out and about. The hotel could do with a few things to keep everybody occupied apart from sunbathing and the lovely pool, maybe a boules area, table tennis, something like that but overall as I say it is a lovely hotel.

Good hotel near to main town and a beach

On arrival the hotel looked good, and was easy to locate. As we booked in, the man on reception was very welcoming, helpful,and polite . We were upgraded to a bigger room which was a bonus. The room was a good size, loads of wardrobe space( though a few more hangers would have been handy but you could ask for more). Bathroom was big and well equipped, whole lot was really clean.Bed was very comfortable and the air-con worked perfectly. I did request another pillow, and this was brought to the room within minutes. There was also a fridge which was handy. Only downside was only 1 plug socket that we could use to charge our phones etc. Breakfast is over a good time period, from 7am till 10.30am which was great, and for a continental style there really was a good choice of food. Gardens beautiful, pool good, towels for pool from reception a nice touch, as is the free chilled water outside. we never ate lunch or dinner in the hotel so cannot comment on that aspect. All in all I was very pleased with the hotel, if you can live with the fact that the general area around it is fairly industrial, and not many eating places within walking distance, it is fine... very quiet and tranquil. We mostly drove into Cagliari to eat in the evening. Car parking was free and plenty of it aswell.

Hotel was ideal for a three night stay exploring Cagliari and the beautiful beaches around there. Poetto beach near Cagliari and the scenic coastal drive near Chia we’re both beautiful. The hotel was fine. The pool area was very nice and quiet. There are not too many places to eat nearby.

Good hotel, poor surroundings

This is a very nice hotel but in poor surroundings. The hotel itself is clean, modern, good pool and facilities and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The inclusive breakfast was also good.
The location lets it down because it is in a somewhat residential/industrial area and whilst the beach is close and there are a few restaurants within walking distance, as well as a supermarket, there is little else. So our advise is to hire a car otherwise your choice is limited. Views at the back of the hotel are lovely, looking out to the mountains but from the front, you can see the industrial port on one side and refinery on the other.
That said, because we hired a car, we enjoyed our time here.

The surrounding area isn’t that great/ interesting - there’s a local shopping centre and a pizza place and bar nearby - but the hotel is 20mins to Cagliari and 30-40mins to the beautiful (but busy - August!) beaches at Chia.

Worth a visit - would recommend.

This was a great hotel to stay for 4 nights whilst waiting to move into a villa. We had a good triple room with a beautiful garden view and a large bathroom. The room was clean and breakfast (free) was okay too. There was secure car parking and a great pool. It shut 1-4pm though. We would recommend this hotel to others. A decent 4 star hotel.

Lovely pool, friendly staff, little culture.

The hotel is perfectly nice, with a really great pool area set in pretty gardens. There was always a pool lounger available when we wanted one, and as we frequently wanted one, we were happy. The room was spacious, had a mini-fridge with freezer compartment and plenty of storage space. Our balcony faced the sea (and thus also the busy road, but it didn't really disturb us). The staff were very friendly, especially Carlo, and happily booked us a table at the one and only decent restaurant across the street. The hotel is right next to a mini shopping centre, with a good sized supermarket. The local area is nothing to write home about; the beach is within walking distance and there are two beach bars, but it isn't one of Sardinia's most scenic spots. We only ate out twice, but the food in the hotel, whilst adequate, is not their strong point. Breakfast buffet was disappointing, unless you really like mini-croissants. You can catch the local bus into Cagliari if you want to, it's pretty simply but beware that the trip home is much longer than the trip there due to a bizarre route! Overall, we were happiest lounging by the lovely pool, but if we returned to Sardinia, we would go further along the coast to a better resourced town.

Hotel with pool, 15 mins from Cagliari.

Nice hotel with swimming pool, which was fab. About 20mins drive to Cagliari, look out for flamingos on the way. Shopping centre with supermarket across road was handy, as was free parking. Couple of minutes from the beach but we didn't check it out, went to Poetto instead, 30mins away, nice but busy. Lovely terrace at hotel with good views. Breakfast good selection of cold food, fruit etc. Lovely welcoming staff on desk with free welcome drink and free use of first mini fridge was welcome surprise! And nice toiletries by Nuxe. Didn't appear to be much else in Capoterra though. Take mosquito repellent as we had lots of bites staying here!

20 minutes or so from the airport. 20 minutes drive to the town by bus and they run regularly. 5 minutes to a beach, lovely for evening or morning strolls. Food in the hotel is lovely, had a wonderful 3 course meal, probably the best food I had on my trip!

Comfortable hospitality, poor quality of breakfast

Our stay at the hotel was pleasant. We were given two joint rooms with balcony. We enjoyed the space and comfortable beds. Breakfast was ok although we had to keep asking staff to replenished food items and cutlery, for this purpose staff number and efficiency could be improved. Bar products such as hot drinks were unnecessarily expensive. Staff at the reception were reasonably friendly although they would sometimes fail to handle priorities very effectively staying too long at the phone at the expense of people waiting at the counter instead of perhaps making note of the phone number and returning the call shortly after helping guests with their daily queries or needs. The hotel was clean with a good size enjoyable swimming pool, the sun shaders at pool side were not very strong as they were often blown away by the strong breeze. Overall our experience was positive since the basic provisions and facilities were offered.

Good hotel close to the beach

A good hotel relies on great staff and they don't get much better than this! They are so helpful - nothing is ever too much trouble. They kindly upgraded our room for us on arrival which was much appreciated. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the beach is just a 5-10 minute walk away. Beach loungers and sun shades at \"Cayo Loco\" can be hired at a discounted rate through reception. The area is safe and ideal for small children.

Eating out is easy and affordable with all restaurants speaking some english. The food we ate was really good and ordering couldn't be easier. Restaurants open from 20:00 each evening and I'd recommend that you explore the local eateries rather than eat from the hotel's limited à la carte menu. There is an excellent high-end fish restaurant called Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi which we ate at twice. It's a 5 minute walk from the hotel and you won't be disappointed... Even the beach bar at Cayo Loco is great - just try the Brushetta for lunch along with the local Ichnusa beer. A bit further up the beach is \"La Bitta\" - which serves excellent pasta and general seafood. They do a good bowl of mussels, and a Tiramisu. In fact the Tiramisu was so light it started floating away!

We had a great holiday here - hope you do too.

Far from the beach and unfriendly people

The hotel was advertised as `several minutes from the sea'.
It took us about 25 minutes going under the sun to the sea crossing the main road with lots of traffic.
The hotel has an agreement with a small beach where you have to pay for everything.
The area around this beach is covered by trash.

Since my wife was sick we decided to stay 3 nights from 10 and change the hotel.
I phoned and got through to Orbitz where we paid for this hotel.
They said that the money had been paid to the hotel and advised to talk to the manager.
The manager did not yield a bit and charged full price for 10 days.

Me and my wife stayed here for a week, bed and breakfast late August 2016. We got a taxi from the airport which costed a fair bit, a bus would have been a lot cheaper. There's a local shopping area nearby and pizzeria with cafe next door which was really nice. We walked to the beach which was about 5 mins walk away. The hotel had a really nice pool area and was where we spent most of our time.

Nice hotel- quiet location

First impressions of the hotel were very high! We were upgraded from a standard room to a superior with two balconies- the views of the surrounding area were amazing! The hotel is very clean- you always see the housekeeping staff and maintenance cleaning areas and making it very pleasurable to stay. The staff are very friendly and made us laugh and smile every time we saw them- real Italian hospitality!

Th location is 30mins out of Cagliari so is very quiet and peaceful. There are lots of excursions to do which the front desk staff are happy to help you book but we did ours before we arrived. The staff on front desk are wonderful and nothing is ever too much for them. The restaurant is a bit expensive (as is the area) for the portion size you receive. The \"maialino arrosto\" is absolutely delicious and definitely worth a try!

There is a supermarket opposite the hotel but I think if you come to this area you need to speak very good Italian- the locals were not as friendly as other Italian destinations and laughed at us when we tried to speak Italian- something we have not experienced before the hotel staff were also very shocked about this.There is a very nice and hospitable restaurant nearby called Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi- it is a bit expensive but we felt the food and hospitality was absolutely worth it!

We LOVED this hotel and the staff but the locals spoil it with their lack of hospitality. We would stay again but only for a few days.

Lovely hotel, spotlessly clean, friendly staff

Enjoyed a short 5 night stay in July - reception staff extremely helpful and friendly with plenty of information. Nice ground floor room overlooking the good size, very clean pool, lovely garden area with plenty of sunbeds and areas of shade. Hotel is only two storeys high, so feels small and friendly. Good breakfast, pastries very nice and nice touch was the whole honeycomb which was delicious. Found the dinner menu a little limited but the BBQ evening was very good. We didn't find many restaurants within walking distance, but when I mentioned this in feedback, the manager said he could provide us with a list of all the local eateries. Beach only a 10 minute walk and was very nice (although the sea a bit cold !) Good bus service into Cagliari and cheap, not loads to see here but a nice day out walking round the town (shame about all the graffiti) - the Botanical Gardens are very interesting. The hotel is not in a typical holiday resort, the area is mainly residential and industrial, but the hotel makes up for this. Bit disappointed that the last bus back from Cagliari is only at 9.20 p.m. as would have been nice to stay and eat there, but apparently the locals are trying to change this. Just across from the Hotel is a small shopping mall, with supermarket and pharmacy etc., which was very useful. Would recommend for a relaxing, quiet break, if staying longer recommend hiring a car to explore the island.

Lovely hotel staff very helpful , but you need car

We had a lovely week at the Santa Lucia , staff were friendly and could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was average continental. The pool and gardens are beautiful, the hotel is very quiet with no organised entertainment in the evenings .
Great place to use as a base when exploring south west coast , but you need a car and parking is free in the hotel grounds.
There is very little in terms of restaurants close by.The shopping centre is within 5 mins walk where you can pick up basic food stuff and has a pharmacy.The beach which is in walking distance is not the most scenic and does not feature the clear blue waters of Pula or CHIA a short distance by car. However two lovely beach bars which were lively in the evenings and served good snacks.
Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again. Maria & Martyn

Charming Italian hotel with delightful service

It is worth going to south Sardinia just to stay here. We were so well looked after, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Despite unseasonally poor weather, we had a great time because the hotel was so friendly and welcoming we were more than happy to be stuck there while a major storm passed through. The pool is lovely, really big. Restaurant meals were excellent, particularly the desserts and great value. Will be going back!!

Nice hotel and good staff.

Hotel is between 2 towns (Cagliari and Pula) so not a great deal going on there, but easy to get around. Hotel staff are very good and all speak english. Hotel is very clean and tidy and aircond. Wifi is a bit hit n miss and their tvs dont have much choice (but hey ho your on holiday) Not much of a choice of restaurants locally (4 or 5 plus hotel dining). Cagliari is buzzing with lots of restaurants and many boutiques. Pula is a small town but very nice. Would i go again ? Yes, to relax. Ps. Great pool !

Beautiful Hotel, excellent helpful staff.

Smooth friendly check in, nothing is too much trouble. Very very relaxing to sit on the veranda and watch the flamingos in the lagoons. Stayed for 4 nights. The local bus service is ok but if you stay any longer I would recommend a car.

All staff very helpful and friendly. Food good, dinner reasonably-priced. Room large and pleasant. From some rooms, good view from balcony of swimming pool, and garden with flowers and trees. Architectural design of the hotel pleasing, only two floors - not like those huge concrete blocks you see all over the world at beach locations. Quiet. 15 minutes by bus from Cagliari, but return ticket costs Euros 2.50, and the journey is interesting, along the coast.

A Hidden Gem

We spent a few days at this lovely hotel which has a resort-like look and atmosphere despite the fact that it's located in an industrial area/wetland a bit far from the center of Cagliari. The hotel was spotlessly clean and our room extremely comfortable.The large and inviting swimming pool is one of the hotel's best features, and, during our stay at least, never too crowded. They also serve a generous breakfast that includes chocolate-filled croissants and ricotta cheesecake.
One word of caution: staying here is really not a good idea unless you have a car. While, in theory, you might be able to reach the center of Cagliari on a bus, buses seem to be few and far between, and it's probably an expensive taxi ride. Also, being car-free would drastically limit your choice of restaurants. The hotel is within walking distance of the well-known seafood restaurant Sa Cardiga e Su Schironi, but it is the only restaurant we noticed that is truly close by.

Nice hotel, car needed to explore

Hotel Santa Lucia was very nice with lovely views of both the lagoons and mountains. There are buses to take you to cagliari (15/20mins) and capoterra (10mins) but if you want to explore further, a car is needed-buses run once every hour or so and last bus back from cagliari 9.20 so a rush)

Wonderful Hotel in a Lovely Setting

The hotel was a lovely and wonderful surprise during our trip to Sardinia. Very courteous and efficient staff took care of our every whim and question. Hotel was immaculately clean and pleasing to the eye. Very comfortable and picturesque. Breakfast was delicious. Worth every penny and a real bargain among the hotels near Cagliari.

Surprised that the hotel was not 4 star. The only criticism was the lack of a proper restaurant. We were told we had to book dinner before 6pm and had to choose the menu at this time, which we of course declined. Fortunately there was a superb pizzeria 5 min. walk away, and a fantastic seafood restaurant 10 min. walk away, so we were happy to take our dinners elsewhere.

place where to relax

Perfect place to stay if you want rest peacefully and comfortable after Cagliari sightseeing. Although hotel is more than 10 km from Cagliari buses runs regularly, in 15 minutes you can get there. Place is really beautiful and city Capoterra quiet. More, there is a really great view from the balcony when the sun is setting. Rooms are clean and stuff helpful.

Lovely spot for an introduction to Sardinia.

Large, airy room with a view of the salt marshes, very pretty balcony for sitting day or night; the blue tile floors and light colors of the walls and textiles were a perfect setting for a beach vacation. Great to find a small refrigerator in the room, bath was beautiful as well. Parking was handy to hotel and main roads. Swimming pool was marvelous-cool and well sized for exercise. Desk staff very helpful.

This hotel is nice and clean and modern looks recently done up and the staff where very nice but some drawbacks to be aware of. They turned the ac off in the room in the night it was too hot to sleep we asked and they just said this is what they do - the ac is centralised. Also the hotel is used for group tour bookings a lot and as such both nights we couldn't eat dinner at the hotel, which is usually not a problem except there are only 2 other restaurants in walking distance a pizzareia that only does pizza and a seafood restaurant - which was really nice but if u don't like seafood not so good! The area itself is one of the most unattractive parts of Sardinia I have seen there is nothing to see in the area and u need to drive at least 1 hr to see things unless u want to go into the capital.

“WONDERFUL”

loved this place - one of the most comfortable places I have ever stayed. Tthis place fitted the bill perfectly.
Gardens & pool beautifully and carefully maintained. We spent our days just lying and sleeping in the pool area - which has as much sun or shade as you could wish for.

A place to relax

We have been traveling thur out Italy 2 adults and 1 15yr.old and had rude poeple thur out are trip, but when we got to this hotel, the people at recpection were so nice gave us places to visit for food and what to see and do, what beaches to visit. I will be back. The rooms were clean and had lots of space. The pool area was great, not too many people and very relaxing. The staff all knew English which helps and again very very friendly. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Nice hotel, quiet location

The hotel itself was very nice, but the surrounding area was a little strange, very quiet and residential. The hotel restaurant was nice but eating choices are limited to that or one or two other restaurants. The beach is close but not great. The air conditioning in our room wasn't working although staff said it was due for repair.
Hotel facilities (pool etc.) were good and the staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful.

REALLY GOOD STAY

The Rooms and Hotel itself were spotlessly clean , meticulously tidy , well decorated and set in beautiful grounds with an excellent pool . Reception Staff were outstanding - Simone, Lia and Francesca who all spoke good English were always cheerful and for whom nothing was too much trouble and used their initiative to sort out anything out of the ordinary. Domestic staff were always polite , considerate and always seemed to be working hard .Breakfast items were always fresh and consisted of a reasonable selection. Evening meal portions were too small . Room facilities were a little basic (no drink-making facilities, air-con not operable, bath towels poor quality and thus ineffective ) and certain items didnt always work (Eg TV- which Simone thankfully replaced -also 1 Coffee machine at breakfast was always out of action meaning the queue for the remaining one was consistently long ) Capoterra beach unfortunately suffers from huge backwash of marine plant debris and is generally run down in appearance .Hotel is set on edge of estate with shop area close by , and one-way system takes a bit of working out .

The room was comfortable and clean, all staff members were friendly and really helpful, they had a computer that all guests could use with free internet with no time limits, the complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the hotel is very affordable and in a great location!! Comfortable spacious hotel with great pool

The hotel is very nicely presented. Everything is clean and tidy, and the gardens are well kept and attractive. The swimming pool is larger than at many hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are also large and comfortable.

The only downside to this hotel is the location is not the best. It is a good 15 minutes by car into Cagliari. It's fine if you have a car as I did, but I would not recommend it without a car unless you simply plan to relax by the pool. The local immediate area around the hotel doesn't have much to offer beyond a handy supermarket, and a couple of small cafes. Some of the surrounding area is a bit industrial, not noisy or intrusive, but not that attractive. This slightly out of the way location is however reflected in the very low prices for the high standard of hotel - I would stay again if in the area.

Relaxing and attractive hotel near Cagliari airport

We used this as our airport hotel as it's about 30 mins drive from Cagliari airport so we spent the first two nights and the last night of our holiday here, and the rest at a beach/climbing resort called Cala Gonone further north.

The hotel was very attractively furnished with pretty gardens including outdoor pool and a large welcoming lobby. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds and chairs, plenty of wardrobe space and clean and attractive bath/shower room

We had a bit of trouble finding it in our hire car in the rain and dark (get on the SS195 out of Cagliari and then take the almost hidden filter lane right just before the 3rd roundabout then follow the signs to the hotel. When we arrived, tired, soggy and hungry at about 11pm, we were told that the kitchens were closed and that we were unlikely to find any restaurants still open. However, the receptionist was extremely helpful and phoned around and found a restaurant that was still open for us (brilliant and interestingly decorated pizza place at the next roundabout south).

The hotel provides an excellent breakfast buffet, and very tasty evening meals, and is a few metres away from a pizzeria and some restaurants, and a small shopping centre including a deSpar (like our Spar shops) for stocking up on food, snacks, fuel for our camping stove, sun cream etc.

We did stuggle to find much to see in the immediate area, and weren't all that impressed with the beach, but I guess that's why they have the pool.

Great hotel in a not so great location

We loved the hotel - breakfast was great and the rooms were just the right size, nice pool etc - but the surrounding area wasn't exactly beautiful. We decided not to hire a car which didn't matter to us too much since we were happy staying by the pool and the beach for most of the time. However, trying to get to Cagliari and other towns by using the buses was always a challenge. Luckily there's a small shopping mall close by with a Spar so getting water etc was never a problem.

Excellent hotel but why is it only three star

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel was very clean, the staff very helpful and always cheerful. It looked very new, or had been refurbished. Pool was immaculate and was cleaned and the area tidied every day. Large gardens were also very well kept. The only thing I can criticize is that the room aircon wasn't cool enough for me, but most people found it ok.

A fantastic hotel , great value.

I would certainly recommend this hotel to anybody visiting the south of Sardinia. The staff here are very friendly, very helpful and very efficent, and mostly speak very good English. The breakfast is a self service buffet, so you can have as much as you like. There is a restaurant serving fine food for lunch and dinner if you wish to stay in. The swimming pool is a good size, and the gym is extremely well equiped, I used it most days while I was there. The hotel and gardens are very well maintained, and always very clean. Nearby there is a great Pizzeria where you can get a large pizza and a beer for a few euros, and across the square is another snack cafe where you can go for an icecream or coffee afterwards if you fancy. There is a large supermarket close by where you can go to get some bread or fruit, or maybe some cheese and a bottle of wine. There is also a great beach 5 minutes walk away. I personally thought that this hotel was very easy to find. If driving just take the road out of Cagliari to Pula, and you can see the hotel from the main road I had a great week staying at this hotel, I am sure you will too.

Basic but adequate

This hotel is based about 10 mins from Capoterra and 15 mins from Cagliari. You can use the ARST (coach service) which runs about once every hour and only costs about two euros for a return trip - much cheaper than a forty euro taxi trip into town. Tickets must be purchased beforehand either from the depot in Cagliari or from the snack bar in the close by piaza square. The hotel has a gym (never used as far as we could see during our stay) and a small swimming pool but not much else. Misleading that their literature still refers to having massages and room service. Staff speak adequate English. Bring some good guidebooks. Also bring a good phrase book as much of Sardinia do not speak even basic English. Food wise, the resturant has a set and a la carte menu each evening. There is a very nice seafood resturant about 5-10 mins away, and at the local piaza square there is a snack bar and pizzeria which are good for lunches. There is a small shopping centre close by which has a large supermarket which was very useful. There is also a local beach about 300 yards away - although there are much nicer beaches a bit further out worth exploring such as poetto or chia. Overall it was a cheap clean basic hotel just out of town. As long as you know what you are expecting for your money you will not be disappointed.

Zimmer und Dusche sehr klein, mäßiger Komfort.
Frühstück sehr übersichtlich und trotz Allergieanmeldung vorab, wurde kaum darauf eingegangen.
Pool-Bereich sehr schön und sauber.
Freundlichkeit vom Personal im Restaurant hält sich in Grenzen.
Die Lage vom Hotel ist zwar nicht beste (Industriegebiet), aber mit dem Mietwagen trotzdem gut gelegen.
