Very large and busy hotel. Run down, untidy and well past it’s best. Our room was ok, looked over the garden. Stayed for 2 nights, they didn’t make up the room, or bring fresh towels on the second day. Indoor pool was under refurbishment, which we were not made aware off. Outdoor pool was dirty, small and full of children during our stay. Didn’t try the spa as it was quite pricey. Wouldn’t stay again.

We stayed overnight to enjoy a girls trip. Wish there was a jacuzzi option without having to pay extra at the wellness center but the indoor pool was still a nice option. Breakfast buffet was exceptional. Great choices. Would recommend.

The property is very clean and nice looking, and it's easily walkable to the shopping district and several major attractions. Property needs more parking spaces to accommodate a full hotel. Overflow parking was parking under trees or in an grassy area. Additionally, our booked Deluxe room was not properly reserved in their system, so we were downgraded to a standard twin and they were fully booked and unable to adjust our booking. The breakfast buffet is one of the best parts of staying here and is easily worth the stay by itself! It is hard to beat and we looked forward to it both mornings of our stay.

Perfectly situated for visiting attractions in Lillehammer. Nice balcony outside the bar/restaurant. Good food, but room for improvement at breakfast, such as separate butter packets and a working toaster.

Bed bugs

Although the breakfast and the swimming pool were amazing, the hotel has low cleaniness standars. I was bitten by bed bugs numerous times! We had to wash all clothing after return including skiing coats, etc and steam clean our car and house to avoid transporting the bugs to our house. The cleaner did not bother to clean our room every day. Also, there is no bus shuttle to the skiing slope. We booked this hotel as it advertises to have a shuttle but we ended up walking to the station each day to catch the bus. The hotel is up on a hill so climbing back from skiing meant a 20 minute walk up a steep hill (on icy pavements) or a cab ride at 150 KR.

Once we walked the hill, found a beautiful facility with lovely grounds and history. We were warned about the hill as we were packing luggage. Comfortable room but location only looked over a roof. Appreciated walking the shopping area. Olympic Park and walking along the river Phenomenal!!! We walked at least 5 miles !

Hotellet er stort og fint, bærer preg av å være slitent og godt brukt som vil si en god del bruks slitasjer. Bodde på på rom 622. Teppegulv er misfarget og udelikat å gå på, gulvflisene på badet var ikke skrubbet og vann spruter ut av hull i dusjslangen.
Hotellet må renoveres, satse mer på renhold og forbedre frokosten.

For de som liker ski var hotellets beliggenhet midtvinters blinken, men for meg som skulle ned i byen flere ganger om dagen var bilen uunnværlig. Ellers kjempefin frokostbufé.

Bodde her 14.-16.02.26. Flott og ærverdig resepsjon og hyggelige ansatte. Ble møtt av infoskilt om at det var gjort sikkerhetstiltak ifm. Norovirus-utbrudd. På rommet ble vi møtt av avføring i toalettet og litt hår her og der. Hotellet vasket toalettet på nytt. Teppegulvet var også manglende støvsugd. Renhold får strykkarakter. Rommet var også særdeles lytt til tilstøtende rom. Fint basseng. Frokostbuffet var rikholdig og topp. Hyggelige ansatte også der. Mange parkeringsplasser. Hotellet har stort potensial, men renhold må forbedres og korridorer og rom må pusses opp for å få bedre score fra meg.

Our experience was very disappointing. Just one day before our arrival, the hotel informed us that our reservation had been changed and gave us only two options: transfer to another hotel or cancel. Since our trip was the next day, canceling was not realistic, so we had no real choice but to accept the transfer.

The replacement hotel did not offer the same facilities. There was no swimming pool or attractions for children, which were the main reasons we chose the original hotel. Although we were allowed to use the pool at the original property, it was over a kilometer away, which was very inconvenient with children.

The new hotel also did not have its own parking, which made traveling with kids more difficult, and we had to pay extra for parking as well.

Despite the clear downgrade in facilities, we received no refund or compensation. Overall, the situation caused us a lot of stress and disappointment, and we cannot recommend this hotel.

Fellesområdene er veldig flotte og romslige. Romfløyene har mer slitasje og bærer ikke den samme herskapelige følelsen som resten av hotellet. I stedet for å oppdatere skilt i gangene, har de dekket over deler av den med sølvteip - veldig lite classy.

Utenfor hotellets kontroll: men det stjeles mye der. Noen stjal mine slippers og min datters armringer fra bassenggarderoben, og noen vi snakket med hadde fått fråstjålet telefonen sin mens den lå på lading.

Utover dette er dette et bra hotell, spesielt for familier, og vi kommer sikkert til å bo der igjen i framtiden

Hotellet begynner å bli ganske sliten, alt ser brukt og utslitt ut.
Det var tomt for badekåper, så å bruke spa var ikke så hyggelig da man måtte ta på sine egne klær og skapene for oppbevaring av eiendeler har ikke fungert det det hele tatt

Scandic Lillehammer Hotel leverer en god totalopplevelse. Innsjekkingen gikk raskt og effektivt, og rommet jeg fikk var både bra og rent – men dessverre ganske kaldt, noe som trakk litt ned. Frokosten var derimot meget god, med godt utvalg og god kvalitet.

Et minus er elbilladeren hotellet samarbeider med: «saktelading» til NOK 8,14/kWh oppleves som ren overprising, selv om det selvfølgelig er frivillig å benytte den.

Alt i alt et bra hotell med forbedringspotensial på enkelte punkter.

Lite informasjon fra resepsjonen ved ankomst (folk bare nøkkel - ikke henvisning til hvor rommet lå, når det er frokost, hvor restauranten ligger el). Ved avreise etter tre netter, var det ingen som takket for oppholdet, spurte hvordan vi hadde hatt det el. - bare «da er alt i orden» mtp at alt var forhåndsbetalt.
Var veldig mange overnattingsgjester, men fikk ikke beskjed på forhånd at man burde booke bord i restauranten. Måtte vente 2 timer på mat. Veldig liten og dyr porsjon med mat, så ble ikke mett (kl 21.15). Veldig varmt på rommet og varme dyner i tillegg. Hadde ikke Internett på rommet (kom og gikk). Ellers fint hotell og god frokost.

Masse unger pga hotellets tilbud til barnefamilier. Derfor ble også frokosten litt kaotisk. Ellers er hotellet svært med mange fellesarealer. Svømmebassenget og andre uteområder brukte vi ikke pga dårlig vær. Helt grei middag a la carte, for i den restauranten var det få barn.vi ladet bilen, men det var dyrt!
