The Riad was charming . Elegant and full of antique furnishings. The variety of tile designs are amazing. Every corner of the Riad is so well done with beautiful taste. The breakfast with ample choices. The front desk personnel’s are very pleasant and helpful. Our suite fit 4 people is large and beautifully decorated. I wish there was a small fridge to keep drink. The internet is spotty in the room. Overall our stay was great and will stay here again if we come back.

Excellent location to reach sites inside of Medina, but to catch a taxi to go outside of it!
Palais Sebban is an authentic beautiful riad, staff is genuinely helpful and there for your needs( Youssef, Omar, Sofia, Mona), the atmosphere is from Arabian Nights !!!!
Highly recommended for people appreciating authenticity and historical experience!

This is a fantastic Riad very conveniently located. The property has 3 pools (small in size but very beautiful), lots of different lounge areas. Great restaurant with fantastic food! Great selection of alcohol. Breakfast is absolutely the best we had in all of Morocco! The staff is super friendly, helpful and very nice. The bed, bedding, towels were fantastic!

The only problem is the room we got. There are probably better rooms available but the one we had was small, AC was loud (it was a very old model), shower head was not spraying the water well and it was not possible to keep it in a good position for a proper shower. The door to the bathroom has a very nice design but it is a see through door which makes all the noises and smells go through. Otherwise it is absolutely the best Riad we stayed at in Morocco!

We had a deluxe room and it was fabulous. The courtyard area in the middle of the riad is stunning. We liked it so much we changed our plans to stay in a different riad when we return to Marrakech, we're staying at Palais Sebban again! Location to get to a car/taxi is convenient as is it's location to Jemaa El Fnaa. Breakfast is fabulous too!

Very impressively restored riad. The main pool area is great, the pool is nice and deep and perfect to cool off in after a day in the Medina. Our room was large and comfortable. Staff are friendly and helpful. The riad is well located, a few minutes walk into the Medina from a road.

Minor things: they don’t have non alcoholic beer in the bar when it is otherwise very common elsewhere. There is no shower curtain etc so the floor tends to get a bit wet.

A fantastic Riad, in a great location for exploring Marrakesh!
All the hotel staff were 100% excellent.
Very polite, helpful, accommodating, friendly & professional. Food was always excellently cooked & presented. Room was lovely.
The only tiny criticism I have are:
I felt a couple of times the waiters were a little over stretched & could really do with additional help.
Our mattress fitted sheet was too small (the elastic had gone) so would ripple up underneath us!
That being said I would definitely recommend to anyone & would return myself!

This place is not worth the money. Our room was nothing like the lovely photos, the air-con was so loud we couldn’t sleep with it on so had to be cold, the shower turned into a cold dribble after minutes, and the door to the bathroom wouldn’t close properly.

The restaurant is average and overpriced and the pool is pretty, but isn’t heated so you can’t actually use it.

We paid for breakfast and were told we could have something to take away on our last morning as we had to go to the airport, but when we got to reception and asked where it was, they said this wasn’t possible, with no explanation or apology given, and even said they don’t actually offer that, so it never should have been promised. They also said they would fix the bathroom door but didn’t, and again, there was no apology given.

I highly recommend staying somewhere else. We stayed at Riad Marraplace on our first night, and it was much nicer, with no issues, for much less. They packed us the most delicious takeaway breakfast with orange juice, bread, waffles and nutella even in a lovely branded Riad Marraplace bag.

The property was stunning and the man who checked us in was very nice. Our room was very nice too with a private terrace. The breakfast was amazing. There were unfortunately small numbers of ants in our room which were a bit inconvenient. The female staff member at the counter also seemed a bit misinformed and it took some convincing to get her to make a phone call to get someone to come to help move our bags to the other riad (which had been promised to us very kindly on arrival by the man who worked the counter the day before). Overall such a beautiful hotel though and would highly recommend

Little bit of paradise all within the hustle & bustle of the souk marketplace of the medina district. The location is perfect and easy to walk to the Djemaa El Fna, Marrakesh's main square and all other parts of the city. I was worried Marrakesh would be quite difficult to navigate but actually it was easy with a map (better than Venice!)

The staff at Palais Sebban Riad were lovely and made us feel so welcomed and really looked after us.

It was very easy to book a guide to get us started in Marrakesh which was definitely worth doing to learn about the history and culture as well as giving us the confidence we needed to explore this remarkable city and its people.

The Riad itself is beautiful, our room was fantastic and the breakfast was enough to get us started each day. It was also nice to sit in the many different areas of the Riad, whilst enjoying a drink as we recharged our batteries.

We had one evening meal which was a little on the expensive side, but it was very nice and included some modest Friday night entertainment but do venture out the rest of the time.

We booked transport via the Riad to and from the airport which was also seamless and easy. All in all, a visually stunning Riad with very hard working, friendly kind hospitality which really hit the spot for us.

The hotel is fabulous! We felt as if we had entered a time machine and landed in the middle of the 1001 nights.
The staff is amazing; the cooking is fresh, beautifully presented ; the reception is always at your disposition.
The transportation from and to the airport was smooth (even if the driver was a few minute late both times). The hotel has the most amazing views from the roof top and too gorgeous swimming pools, surrounded by plants, cats and birds. They accept US dollars (at a lower rate but it is very convenient). They also accept credit cards for payments above $40.
The breakfast table is one of the best I have ever seen in the world. After visiting the famous Mamounia Hotel, I can attest that Hotel Seban has what it takes to compete in a smaller scale. Bravo staff and especially Midadi at the bar and dinner service! We enjoyed being your guests for 10 days. We will be back to discover the new coming addition to your hotel...OMG, this is really going to be more than a palace!

Lovely--but avoid room Tichka

A beautiful facility with some amazing rooms. But for the first night they put us up in Room Tichka, which we found very tight and uncomfortable, with 3 levels and a bathroom behind the bed with no doors. We were then reassigned to room Dades, which was wonderful, and rest of the stay was lovely. The Hammam/Spa was too thinly staffed to avail of, so the manager recommended we use a nearby spa called ELISE, which was very mediocre service for very high prices. The restaurant the manager recommended (Safran), a 5-min walk, was terrific.
The hotel provided reliable pick up and drop off service, which was a big plus. As many have said, the BF was ok but not great.

The rooms are nice, lacking a little bit of privacy (no proper door closure between the room and bathroom) but manageable. Breakfast was really good too, offering a lot of choice. We had a complimentary massage included in the cost of the hotel and it was amazing.
The location is convenient, walking distance to most sights to see in Marrakech. The streets are busy and you need to be careful, but once inside the hotel it is like a calm oasis.

Palais Sebban was fantastic! The perfect place to begin our honeymoon. The service was great, starting with our bags being brought in from the nearest roadway and our welcome tea in the courtyard. Everyone was very kind and accommodating. We were able to have tea service on the terrace of our room. The building and terraces are beautiful.
Taking a break from the hectic medina to relax at the riad each afternoon helped make our time in Marrakech even better. The tilework and architecture made the riad one of our favorite parts of the city The location was easy walking distance to many of the sights, and also close to a main road for taxi service if needed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious.
We would absolutely stay here again if we return to Marrakech!

This is the best riad we stayed at in the whole of Morocco! Palais Sebban really stands out for the beauty of its grounds, amazing staff, and above average amenities. There is a great restaurant in the central courtyard next to the pool and an on-site spa (a lot of places will say they have a spa on their website, but it's actually a different establishment some distance away). The staff helped us hire a private driver to the Sahara and were extremely responsive and organized. They also spoke great English, which I really appreciated as my French is not good and I needed to discuss logistics over email and phone. One small quibble is that like most riads, this place has covered its open roof completely with plastic sheeting, so depending on your room assignment, you will not get any access to fresh air at all. It gets quite stuffy at night unless your room has a window that opens into the street. The bathroom also gets very humid for this same reason. But otherwise, this riad was head and shoulders above the 6 others places we stayed at while in Morocco.

This place is physically beautiful, but it was our worst stay in Morocco despite being the most expensive. The problem here is that we felt as though the staff were CONSTANTLY trying to upsell/scam us. First, we had to be very explicit that we wanted to utilize the included spa credit (they just kept trying to sell us on more experiences), secondly the bar staff double charged us and when we spoke up, they showed us their menu which had different prices than the ones given out. Even the night guard tried to charge us extra for our pre-booked airport shuttle. It was REALLY off-putting and completely changed our opinion of this place. Unfortunately, we also ran into upset guests in the lobby multiple times... suffice it to say we weren't the only ones who didn't enjoy this spot despite the beautiful decor.

First time in Marrakech—unique experience!

First time visiting Morocco and the first stop on my 10 day trip was Marrakech. Palais Sebban arranged a pickup at the airport, someone to meet us right outside the Medina,help us carry our bags inside and give us a tour of the Riad!

Upon entering the Palais, it feels like something out of a movie. The Riad is completely hidden in plain sight, which creates its own private oasis in the middle of the red city. What truly made the Riad so special in my experience is the amazing accommodations and hospitality that was brought together.

The hotel brings a mix of traditional and modern in its own unique way and should be experienced by everyone visiting Marrakech!

They had construction above our first room that started at 9:30am and we asked if we could move and they upgraded us at no charge. The riad met our expectations. It was conveniently located to the entryway of the medina, so once we found parking it was a short walk with our bags. The rooms were on the more basic side in terms of architecture and design, however the shared parts of the property were breathtaking. I hesitate sharing this negative, because I'm not sure if it was a \"Marrakech\" problem or a \"Palais Sebban\" problem but there was a pervasive sewage smell in our room. We realized eventually that by leaving the shower drain plugged, it stopped. So keep that tip in mind!

Ironing clothes to cleaning to breakfast service ! Phenomenal service! Location is simply phenomenal, right on the step of the heart of Marrakech!
El fenn and Kabana (both have glamorous rooftop and western restaurants) are literally next door!
The hotel is a riad with some stunning architecture and period features! Some of the furniture looks tired but I suppose that’s in keeping with the overall vibe!
If I have to pick a fault that’s only the fact that the pool is not ideal for little children to have a dip in!
It’s more a showpiece pool than an actual pool!

While I was holding my camera and taking a few photos of the place (it's quite beautiful by the way), a staff member followed me as asked me not to take photos as it's not allowed! I told him that I'm a guest and nobody mentioned this when I checked in.
He said yes it's not allowed. I carried on chatting with him and suddenly a lady who probably was the manager/owner said to me that I was taking photos for 5 hours continuously (I checked in around midday, had a shower and then a few photos then had to leave around 1pm to get my travel pcr and I came back around 3.45pm).
She was so rude and gave me a look and muttered in French a few words.
I told them if I'm not welcomed give me back my money and I'll find somewhere else to stay.
Honestly if it wasn't late and had a tour booked at 6pm I wouldn't stay at this place.
I don't usually leave reviews unless my experience goes extremely well or bad! And this one undoubtedly the worst I ever had.
One more thing, there was construction work on the premises exactly behind my room and the noise was so loud.

Absolutely gorgeous riad!!

Palais Sebban is one of the most gorgeous properties that I’ve stayed in. Its location can’t be beat (an easy 5-minute walk to the souk and Djemaa El Fna, and about a 20 minute walk to Majorelle Garden). An easy taxi ride (20dh) from the Marrakech train station. Excellent breakfast too. A bonus was being super close to a PCR testing place. The reception staff are friendly and speak excellent English.

A beautiful riad

+ Place is very convenient. Easy to find and easy to get to major attractions.
+ The rooms, the garden, everywhere you look at, it's beautiful...
+ Very helpful staff. They were very attentive. Tried to make our stay as enjoyable as possible.
- Breakfast was cold and it was bland.
- No bidet wash.
- Small inconvenience: Our room didn't have hot water. But they offered us to use another room's shower.

Not so good at first, awesome later

First room, the Meknes, was pretty but cold (November), dark, and noisy. Riad was full on the weekend but they gave me a *gorgeous* room after that: very large, with a private terrace, on the second floor, a totally different experience. Restaurant is not bad at all, breakfast is great (except for the coffee, but no one is perfect), has international and local foods, hammam is very reasonably priced and excellent. Service is outstanding. Highly recommended.

This is a beautiful riad centrally with easy walking to the markets. Visually it's stunning and is the perfect place to escape from the busy streets. The staff were wonderful, very fiendly and helpful.

The property is absolutely fabulous! Gorgeous decorations with lots of eye for detail. Breakfast is a treat and staff is super friendly and attentive. We had a problem with our toilet halfway through our stay but got transferred to another room without problems. Food quality is very good but lunch/dinner menu choices are a bit limited. We had to hide our used piece of soap in a cupboard or it would be taken away and we'd have to open a new wrapping, and I'm pretty sure we got fresh towels every day even though we put them back on the towel rack. I shared a taxi to the airport with other guests but we were each required to pay the full fare. The little library in the bar has lots of different languages, very nice!

A true gem!

This is a truly exceptional hotel! It is a sublime oasis in the heart of chaotic Marrakesh. Everything was superb, from the staff getting our bags into the old city and hotel to the assistance with transport to other locations to the breakfast and general ambiance. The hotel itself is stunning, a genuinely restored palace returned to its former glory, and spacious and invites relaxation - highly recommended!

Our stay was excellent. The room and courtyard were absolutely beautiful and spacious. The riad was very clean and provided everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was one of my favorites things about the place. The staff was amazing and so accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. The location is perfect and within walking distance to many of the popular sites. We would stay here again and highly recommend this unique riad.

My husband and I stayed at Palais Sebban in July 2021. As soon as u enter the place you get transported to a completely new era. The historical decor and preservation of the place is phenomenal! The service is wonderful! Our car was not able to get into the alleys/entrance of the hotel but the hotel staff came to get our luggage and walked us over without an issue! This place is once in a lifetime experience in Morocco! Highly recommend! Cannot wait to go back to stay longer!

This property was truly amazing! Everything, from the welcome to our leaving we were made to feel very special. This will be a location we will definitely come back. The staff were super helpful and were there If we needed them at anytime. We had a hot air balloon at 5am and they make sure we got our on time and safely.

Oasis of the Medina

We absolutely loved this Riad- it was close to the Medina walls, so very easy to get in and out and navigate after the initial drop off. I highly recommend either using their taxi service for Airport pickup or arranging to meet someone at the gate to the Medina. The Google maps pinpoint will lead you alongside the Riad down an alleyway that has no entrance.
The gardens, pool, and rooftop are more ornate and luxurious than photos can accurately portray. Dominique was extremely helpful making dinner reservations for us as well! We recommend this stay highly!
