The hot tub and pool were the best part of the stay except we couldn’t utilize it the next morning due to the water being shut off. A notice we were not aware of as we arrived late the night before. Good thing we showered the night before as we had no water in our room. The floor was not clean in the bathroom and we had a couple of dirty towels.

One of the worst Hampton Inn's I've stayed at before. Hotel and rooms were dirty and there were a number of things in the room that were broken (ex. toilet seat was not attached properly and shower door wouldn't stay closed). Hotel room floors were clean and there were stains on the pillow cases. Also, the pool was closed for a majority of the stay, which is the reason we booked the hotel in the first place (as we were there for a boys baseball tournament). Some of the staff were rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend, especially at the price point we had to pay.

food was cold. Room temperature was good. Room 207 should never have been booked. Bathroom was terrible, caulking was terrible smeared on inside of door. Tile on floor was cracked, stains on shower floor, switch for exhaust fan would not stay on and paint stains on rug and even drops on desk chair. No guide on TV and copy of channel list was incorrect. Ice machine not working on first or second floor. Elevator sound and felt like it was about to stop working. By far worst Hampton or any other hotel I have stayed at, did not get what I paid for. The good news the staff was great! Got in late Friday night and didn't notice all problems and too late to switch rooms. Next morning talked to desk clerk Emerson and
explain that I want to exchanged rooms when I return to hotel later that evening. She very professional and apologized for the room stating that a new room would be assigned when I returned. She was so efficient and helpful I did not feel the need to talk to the manager.

The bathroom floor had long black hair all over. The bathtub was dirty and also had long black hair in it. I’m blonde. My boyfriend is bald. Also, the final disappointment was that the bath towels, 2 out of 4, had holes in them. Of course you don’t see that until you open up the towel when you get out of the shower. I always stay at a Hampton inn when I travel. Theryre always great. This horrible.

We traveled to your location for specifically your pool. We called the hotel to confirm it was open and was assured “yes the pool is in operational use”
My children jumped into the pool and screamed in agony at the temperature! Come to find out the pool was approximately 60 degrees and the heater was broken. Per the hotel staff, corporate was aware and had no plans to fix. The pool heater has been broken for months!!!
Not our idea of a fun night at your hotel.
We called the head office that night, furious, their response, “talk to the manager in the morning” we agin proceeded to inform them and was told nothing can be done.
Very disappointed. Will not be returning.

When we checked in, the bathroom was not clean, the towels were dirty and unfortunately they noted they were under staffed so I personally cleaned the bathroom myself to be able to stay as there was no other room to move in to. Unfortunately there has been no movement on a resolution - would recommend staying elsewhere.

Took 20 minutes to get Luke warm water in shower, window shade allowed lights on front of building and car lights to invade our room. No ice or even an ice bucket. Only 1 bath towel provided for two people. Towel was stained. Never going back.

Unfortunately, the Hampton in Batavia did not live up to the typical standards of the Hilton chain. I made my reservations in August for an overnight 11/15. I checked in online like I normally would and was assigned room 302. The digital key was not available at that time. A few hours later it was available, but my room had changed to room 103. I contacted the hotel to ask why my room was changed they told me that a few rooms had problems with water leaking and my new assigned room would be 103. I asked if they had other rooms but was told they had sold out. I also wanted to know what time the pool would close because I was traveling with 2 girls who were so excited to swim. I was told it was closed due to maintenance (painting). had I known the pool would not be available, I would have picked another hotel. We finally arrived at the hotel used my digital key to get into the room only to find it was filthy with a musty smokey smell. Towels on the bathroom floor, unmade beds, food on the counters and bedstand, trash in the cans etc. I went to the front desk and reported this. He put us in 308. (Despite being sold out). We then switched to our new room. The bathtub and the toilet both appeared dirty and the musty smokey smell was also quite evident. We also needed more pillows. I called and asked about the pillows and was told the previous employee went home with the keys to the linen area/housekeeping supply room so there was nothing she could do. This is unacceptable

The front desk gave made multiple room keys for my room. As we ( daughter and grandbaby) we relaxing, ppl were trying to get in.

The gentleman at check in was so friendly and welcoming! The room was clean. The hotel itself seems it needs minor touchups to not make it look run down.
The heating/cooling unit was making rattling noises when it wasn’t even on. Assuming it was from the wind outside.
As for Hotels.com, I am unsure if we will book again. Seems it was a hassle at check in. They tried 3x to charge my card again for the entire cost. It flagged my card.

She had a hard time finding our reservation when we checked in. When we went to our room, which was number 20 one the door was wide open, and the bed was unmade. When we went back down to the desk, they gave us room 30 one and never told us that it was a handicap room. The curtains or blinds were missing and did not work so there was no way for us to close the windows. The view was the highway behind us. Everything was very dated and the rug was very dirty in the bathroom. The handicap rail was completely rusted and a toilet was dirty. Very unsatisfied with the stay

The hotel was nice and the service adequate. The shower did not drain properly so we stood in water over our ankles while showering. When we checked out we reported the issue and received only a \"I'll report it to maintenance\" response. No apology or concern for how we felt about it. For $230 we expected more.

Disrespectful and Rude staff.

Please read me carefully because you are going to choose to stay here. Their staff is terrible, rude and disrespectful. First contact was receptionist and she was not happy to see us. She rudely checked us in and seems like don’t like her job. Rooms were smelly and bathrooms has roaches. The entire staff of the hotel was very disturbed to see colour of skin. I feel the staff was raciest and pathetic. The pool was broken and in used for guest and no safety concerns. I don’t recommend this place to anyone. Don’t go here with your kids they will be very disappointed and have worst experience of their life because this place and people who work here.

We were awoken at 11:30pm when someone was trying to enter our room. Followed by a phone call wanting to know who I was and what our room number was. They said we weren't in the system. Followed by a second phone call wanting to know if we were part of the national grid. Then a third call, by now it was midnight saying that I had to come to the desk with ID and a confirmation number which I had already provided at check in. When I went to the desk they took my info and finally found or reservation saying it had been canceled. We were checked into our room sleeping. How could it be canceled. Then they said it was canceled because my card had been declined. Well, my card was not declined. Expedia took my payment off my card then when they went to pay the hotel the card they used was declined not mine. The desk clerk said she would call expedia and straighten things out and for me to go get some sleep. Im sure this could have waited until the morning to be handled. This was a very unpleasent stay to say the least and will not use expedia or stay at a Hampton again.

Our toilets were slow running we were afraid they were going to run out all over. The water in the shower was hard to figure out and never fully transferred to full shower. The bottles of conditioner and body lotion were empty and we had 3 adults in the room and only 2 bath towels. The breakfast was the same as it is in any other hotel nothing stood out and we ended up wasting more than we ate. The staff was kind and friendly and the rooms were clean. The pool area was nice however the gym area was closed for an unspecified reason. It was ok for a one night quick stay after a long day at 6 Flags.

A Refund Would Be Great

During our roadtrip we unexpectedly had to stop for the night due to weather. We booked this hotel solely on the fact that we couldn’t find any availability for the night in Buffalo. The reviews were very misleading and we were not entirely satisfied. The room had a smell that was a mixture of mildew and smoke and the carpets and furniture were stained. It also appears that the hotel has a known infestation of pill bugs and we were really not happy with the bugs even if they are harmless. The breakfast service was supposed to begin at 6am and at 6:30 the coffee was the only thing available, and they didn’t even have cream or anything out for it yet. I can’t believe we spent $270 for less than twelve hours, I really wish Hotels.com gave reimbursements especially when their posted ratings are deceptive.

Electrical wires hanging by pool door entrance, elevator electrical encasement is cracked, fire light is broken, slight shuttering sound occasionally heard while riding elevator. Overall safety is questionable. Inside lobby air conditioner is turned off during the day but is on at night only when the owner is working, had to ask for pool towels, continued non replenishment. Bug infestation sign posted by owner rollie pin bugs? As if this problem is acceptable at all. Owner states her children/relatives play with them and that's supposed to make this ok. Very unbecoming a Hilton brand!

We pass through Batavia, NY a couple times a year on our way back from visiting our son and his family in Vermont. We have always stayed at the Wyndham La Quinta but for some unknown reason their rates had doubled? This Hampton Inn was by far better and reasonably priced.

2. Huge dug out holes X 2 by side door about 1.5 Ft wide and 1.5 ft deep!! Fine, but PUT A CONE AND/OR TAPE AREA OFF! Soo dangerous!!

In general, I’m happy with the 5 to 6 weeks that I stayed at hotel. But I chose this hotel due to the fact it is supposed to be a higher end hotel, and it had a swimming pool and hot tub that I’ve been here have been closed to use and not operational also, this week the key card machine was not working and I had to summon a host to unlock my room each time I needed to leave and come back I need to spend another three weeks in this area and I will most likely stay at a different hotel so I have use of the pool not tub services
