The property is beautiful, we stayed there because my daughter was going for a competition the next day and it resulted that in the presidential suite they had a very LOUD party going on and when I called front desk for help because we couldn’t sleep for my surprise the person said that they wouldn’t put the volume down because it was a party from the Manager and that he said he was not putting the volume down; my point is that we stayed in this hotel looking for a comfortable safe place so we could have a good night sleep. I write this review because I really consider a lack of respect what that manager did because I even specified I was staying with a child. It was a terrible experience, specially because you expect to receive a great service and in this situation that was not the case specially feom the manager.

The staff was exceptional. The management was courteous and ready to please. The breakfast was also very good. The rooms were clean. The only thing was that the bathtubs need replacing , they are stained. I stayed in 2 rooms and both were the same. However I would stay there everytime I go to Tegucigalpa as everything was great.

the room was ok, but it was noisy construction next floor up a lot of hammering, people slamming doors. people coming in at 3am making a lot of noise. This went on almost the whole time we were there was not very enjoyable I WOULD HAVE CHECKED OUT AFTER THE 2ND NIGHT BUT I HAD NON-REFUNDABLE ROOMS. The staff was great very nice people. the breakfast great verity but it was cold. two nights before we were to check out we had a little problem one of the mangers tried to enter our room without knocking lucky we had the latch secured he thought the room was empty, so he said but i thought they had computers that told him that.so needles to say i dont think we will not be staying at CLARION HOTEL any more

This is not a hotel, its an event/party venue... guests have no right against event goers. Loud with noise and music. No shampoo/conditioner in the room. Not coming back.

They said that my room was having issues and that there wasn’t any other room available so very easy they said sorry we can’t help you. Worst hotel in Honduras. Manager Madeliene shouldn’t work at hotel. Nerves seen a person so rude and just say sorry better luck next time. These kind of people shouldn’t be allowed to work at all. Never coming back in my life. Hope Expedia can help and the manager of the hotel read how awful their staff and customer service is. If you can’t be a high quality hotel, then say so, but don’t lie to your clients saying you will give a good service and when you arrive treat you like garbage.

I don’t know why the staff at the restaurant included tip in my bill without asking or informing me. I complained to the manager and have it reversed. If the consultant me I would have included tip but adding tip without my permission pissed me off.

The hotel was very good, but breakfast was a little boring since they were serving same food every day!! Maybe more variety they need. Maybe making the vegetables more plain, one day salted, other grilled!! Or maybe adding more options like pancakes, maybe tamalitos de elote, pupusas, tamales de carne, sopitas etc…

Rooms are clean but outdated.
Room keys kept resetting daily and that was super annoying.
I would not recommend their “Italian restaurant” inside the hotel, many other options better within walking distance.
Staff is nice, a lot of police officers on site so very safe.

Hotel Clarion es de mis favoritos para hospedarme en Tegucigalpa, las habitaciones son cómodas y limpias, la ubicación muy céntrica, los desayunos muy completos y variados, y el servicio del personal es excelente. Me encanta que después de un día de trabajo puedo relajarme un rato en el bar del hotel, tienen diferentes opciones de restaurantes y áreas sociales para pasar un buen momento.

Pros: Comfy bedroom / nice combination of thick fluffy pillows and skinny hard ones / hectic night life downstairs (no strong noises vent to the rooms) / good location in town.

Con’s: kind of old installations / no amenities whatsoever, just two bottles of water / check in at 3pm is too late / area around the property under construction for the last 5 years. Terrible.

La estadía está ves fue mala, la piscina estaba sucia y turbia el agua y cucarachas alrededor. Los baños comunes sucios y sin papel para las manos. Sin contar el ruido que había el aire acondicionado cuando están encendido
Pedimos cambio de habitación y nos querían cobrar extra. La verdad este hotel a desmejorado completamente.

Breakfast service was kind of poor. Had to chase people down for coffee every morning. Temperature in gym was very high. Music from the beer garden and night clubs was very very loud every night making it hard to sleep. I required ear plugs.

Slowest ever service in restaurants

A decent hotel overall, let down by service in all restaurants.

Virtually no staff, the ones who are there are not attentive, stand around chatting among themselves and take FOREVER to serve you and then even longer to bring food and drinks. We’re taking 20 minutes to get a drink, 45 minutes for a soup or a salad.

Hair and blood stain in the bed.

I had stayed on several occasions before in this hotel, but never again.
Service is slow and non existent, seems the staff is doing you a favor.
And the worst part? A dirty bed! With hair and blood stains..
At night there is no manager, but i did speak to him.
This hotel should be priced on the 70 USD mark for what it is.
They are renovating the rooms but not the bathrooms.. i rather stay at another place.
