Everything from front desk to room service was just outstanding! It is conveniently located near the airport. At the front desk all the employees were exceptionally professional but one person went above and beyond; Muhib. My kudos to him and all the employees at the Radisson Blu. Brilliant place to stay, about fifteen minutes from airport after long flight. Rooms great, restaurants great, facilities great. The only downside that it is rather remote on the road from airport and if one wants to dine out, its a taxi ride, but as a pensioner, suits one hundred percent

Ten Star Treatment at a Five Star Hotel

Wonderful people makes everything wonderful and it have been standard for this hotel. Manager Farhana and her front desk staff members have been extremely courteous and demonstrated outstanding professionalism towards their guests. It’s not only me, but most of the guests have same warm feelings and receive top quality hospitality from everyone.
Manager, chef and everyone in cafeteria (lobby restaurant), always have provided exceptional services and exceeded expectations for me as well as other guests.

One small suggestion for main entrance security staff. I suggest administrators must keep an eye on them. They demonstrated some laziness and slow. Also sometimes they have been asking for tips to the walking customers and car passengers. I think proper training and discipline can improve their productivity and behaviors.

I stayed at the hotel 9 days. There were not much courtesy to and options for late check out.

Duty manager (a man) was not nice with customer.

There was a female receptionist very unprofessional and teasing customers behind them. She was also telling others that hotels have certain rules even I was not dealing with her. This kinds of side talk is very unprofessional and confusing.

Managers are not friendly with customers. I stayed 15 days during this trip.
Requested for late check out due to a business meeting, duty manager totally refused my request. Even he asked me leave by 11:00 AM, an hour before standard check out time.

I have been staying at this hotel since it was built. However this time the front desk stuffs were rude and not professional at all. No smiling faces, not welcoming at all. They have a hard time in getting the room which has proper air conditioning also they were oy including Or offering any membership for points. They also lack follow ups. Wanted to open up a corporate account but it became history and the stuff never even got back on it. Not a place where I will return

I have really liked my stay at Radisson Blu Dhaka. The service of the hotel personnel were exceptional. Really nice, comfort and convenient. I have also dine at one of the restaurant from there and their food and service was really great, loved the food.

Soon as walked in to the room, light flickering, sink water doesn’t run as supposed to, bathroom door not easy to handle,
I don’t know how it called 5 star hotel! It’s 3 star category. Employees need lot of training to run a hotel chain, which probably they don’t have, period.

Overall a dark hotel. The brown decor feels dated. Sound proofing of the rooms should be improved as we could hear the traffic all night. Enjoyed our dinner though the wine was incredibly expensive.

I booked a room through Expedia but came to know that the room I booked was of low cetegory !
Hotel informed me that room you booked is of low category ! So I received low category treatment —— water coming out from AC, no separate beds for twin sharing !
Hotel staff not takeing request for smoking room as the catagory was low .
Why don’t hotel / Expedia put it in site that the room is of low category .

Overall Good hotel for business purpose and not for family, no play area for children.

Restaurant didn't have any menu option for kids or any suggestions when asked as well.

Staff in restaurant were chatting among them selves pretty loud when we were there for Alcatra Meal in the evening , not sure enough training has been given.

But I must say Bell Man: Mr Mahmud was extraordinarily help, kind and guided us for the experience. He made the extra effort to arrange our next morning travel to airport and was very friendly with my children.

Money paid for the stay was for children's pleasure and experience , but the hotel has missed the point. However we stayed in Raddison Blue in Agra and it had all the amenities.

Dirty old property. No upgrades to the room and facilities for many years. Lazy unhelpful service. Slow check in and check out. Rooms dirty and used. The only good part was the service at The sublime restaurant and the location. With new hotels opening in Dhaka The Radiason is the thing I the past. Better to stay at Le Meridien or at The Westin.

stay was comfortable but with the security level I felt like I was in a jail. outsiders are not allowed to meet any guests inside hotel so guests have to come outside hotel to meet friends.
The price is way too expensive compared to the size of rooms and comfort. don't know how it got 5 star rating with these small sized rooms. will never book this hotel again and advice everyone to avoid this hotel.

The hotel staff are friendly and helpful especially the receiptionist manage to help to get a room to stay till I check-out at night because I have a night flight and the hotel is fully booked.
