There are places you visit once—and then there are places that call you back. For us, D Maris Bay is the latter. After a blissful stay in May, we knew we had discovered something extraordinary. So, we returned for another 10 nights, and once again, it was pure magic.
Nestled in a breathtaking corner of the world, D Maris Bay is more than just a luxury resort. It’s a sanctuary where nature’s beauty meets impeccable hospitality. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped in serenity—crystal-clear waters, lush landscapes, and sunsets that seem to pause time.
But what truly sets this place apart is its people.
Every meal, every moment on the beach, every interaction with the staff felt personal and heartfelt. While we wish we could name everyone who made our stay so special, a few deserve a special mention:

Some of the staff were friendly but there was still many staff don't know many things and some even don't bother to say \"good morning\"
Room - basic things were missing (soap, limited towel, water supply, limited shampoo, shower gel and etc.)
music - certain time of the day music was so loud and there was no chance to relax

The property is in an outstanding location. Stunning beach beautiful sand. Unfortunately the restaurants there have gauging prices and food is generally very poor. We were charged a cover charge just to go to the Greek Rest on the property! The calamari served was tougher than nails and the recommended, by the waiter, grilled prawns were again over cooked. Due to the secluded location of the resort, we were forced to stay in the compound to eat at the various restaurants. The breakfasts were superb and rooms nice.

Elhamdulillah, it was a wonderful experience.
The hotel is in a wonderful location, beautifully furnished, the beaches are simply wonderful and the staff is outstandingly kind.
Regarding the staff, special thanks go in particular to following: Ahmet from the D Maris kitchen, Silan, Muazzez and Müberra from the (amazing) breakfast service, Serkan from the buddy service, Ece from the Concierge, Pinar and Dogukan from the reception and Cumhur as well as Fahri from the boat service.
We hope to enjoy D Maris again, Inshaallah :).

Breathtaking and stunning views of the bay from hotel and the beach area.. Never a bad picture. Staff is excellent and so very friendly always looking to help you. “Sergen” who works at the pool bay area was a excellent staff person, really helpful. The breakfast which we included was wonderful with a wide selection of breakfast food which was great . Dinners unfortunately were very hit and miss with the quality of food served. The Greek restaurant did not live up to expectations and we were very disappointed in the quality of food they served. Still, overall an excellent stay at the hotel.

A truly world leading resort

D Maris Bay is probably the best resort we have stayed at in Turkey and one of the best we've stayed at anywhere. The location is so peaceful and scenic (although I hear it is much busier during the summer peak season) and the choice of beaches afford several different viewpoints to enjoy one's day of sun, sea and sand. The service was impeccible and the rooms were superb (especially the shower!). Finally, the food was just superb; never had so much varied and excellent food venues to choose from. We definitely want to return.

The property is a complete piece of heaven
That I liked
What I didn’t like was the fact that after paying 700$ a night! I still had to pay for a coffee sachet which was replaced by tea in my room cuz the hotel management randomly chose who gets coffee and who gets tea or based on guests nationality .why can’t they put both like normal 5 star hotels
Also I ordered the buggy at 11:15pm received it after midnight
Kept calling the buggy line and they kept saying on the way
They could have simply said buggy is far will need 30 min will gladly have taken the panoramic elevator
So basically the very high rate u pay only cover sleeping other then that the hotel concept is very materialistic everything is charged for even a toothpick
On the property there r two of the most famous Resturant’s Nusret and Zuma
Had late lunch at Nusret which was a complete failure
the waiter kept trying to imitate his famous boss and kept cutting and throwing the meat off the tray and then picked back and put it in our serving plate also the taste wasn’t Consistent with Nusret Istanbul
Drinks took forever to be served that I had to cancel them
And the waiter wanted to make higher sales so decided to get two of each dish we ordered
To the point that we got full from the first two dishes and couldn’t eat the rest and paid a fortune for his mistake
As for zuma it was implacable , excellent waiters , super fast service , acceptable value for the 11 dishes I ordered to enjoy

A one of a kind vacation!!

For anyone that's considering vacationing here, its a must. If you want secluded, silent, low-key, luxurious with lots of good food, music, and incredible views this is your place. I would consider D Maris one of the most beautiful hotels I have stayed in. Incredible views if you have a sea view room. The breakfast provided by the hotel is one of the best I have ever had in any hotel. There is a huge variety of restaurants in the resort to choose from, my favorite was La Guerite (try the Sea Bass) and also Zuma.

When it comes to the beaches, they are each spectacular in their own way, and there are 5 to be exact. Plenty of areas to swim, lie down, whether it's in the sun or shade, and bells on every umbrella to call over a waiter in case you want to order any drinks or food.

The staff is so attentive and is absolutely always willing to cater to every need. My boyfriend proposed to me during our time in D Maris and planned out all the details with Tugce who was an absolute rockstar in coordinating all the efforts and making sure everything was executed flawlessly. It was an unforgettable experience and the most breathtaking place to share such an intimate and romantic moment.

I am counting down the days to go back to D Maris Bay. This is truly an unforgettable experience.

Only improvement I could suggest is that I thought the choice of food in the restaurants was quite limited and unfortunately, 2 of the restaurants were not open at the time of my visit. Gym, spa and sauna area is very appointed so definitely bring your gym gear!

This was our second time at the hotel, we upgraded to the Deluxe Sea view room which did not disappoint. Spacious and well appointed, plenty of storage, very comfortable bed, big shower area and even bigger bath with an amazing view to the bay and mountains. The views are always breath taking so the location can't be beaten in our view. We love the \"Silence Beach\" and our man Jacob, the hardest working of the staff, always is on hand to get us a great spot on the beach. Our only gripe is that the music from La Guerite sometimes carries so beach is not as silent as last year, shame really as we tried this beach and found it too noisy, why they play it so loud when patrons are relaxing and not clubbers we don't know, they also have made the beach pay to use, annoying as hardly used, high rollers anyone, when you are already paying so much to be there?. Restaurants all serve good food, we went to Mannos and the fish is excellent. We also were entertained not only with live music but by our waiter Abudulrachman who was very attentive. Zuma also was a great place to hang out and the food was very good. Rüya also serves a more refined version of Turkish cuisine which was very tasty.Breakfast is included and offers a great spread. Halil was very welcoming and knowledgable. Also a big shout out to the lovely Elif at Quadran who helped source a rare watch for us.

Honeymooning in October 2015 - Late season, so not that many guests but staff and service at a very high standard. As photos demonstrate the location is stunning, multiple beaches, multiple activities. Part of the reason I'd chosen the hotel was watersports and I really enjoyed the catamaran sailing (18 ft/5.5m Topcat K1s for aficionados, so much more fun than a dull/slow Hobie Wave or Getaway at Caribbean resorts). When there wasn't good wind we kayaked, including to the island in the bay to feed rabbits which was an amusing diversion. Quality of food at all restaurants (and breakfast) was excellent, with prices reasonable considering the location.

Enjoyed our stay very much, even as we suspected the staff looked at us as the \"crazy guests\" who were out doing activities on the one rainy day. As I explained since we were heading back to Canada we were looking to get the last taste of summer (son keyfiini aldik!)

Wonderful breakfast and beaches. Polite ang good staff. It would be better if there was some music. Everything is very very clean. Arcitecture of the hotel and the nature is wonderful
There are lux and very good restaurants for dinner. You can go another beaches of the hotel by boat whenever you like
we booked deluxe room and decoration and disighn of the room was perfect.

SELECT MARIS CLUB RESORT, GOOD NOT BEST

If you don't know Turkish (country were is placed) or German (executive manager native) language you will be served polite in major cases but ever never friendly. Sometimes they improvise dinner program (modify place of buffet versus daily program showed). Very poor entertainment program. Buffets are not same level from start point till the end (after 1 hour from usually 2 planned) thus you can't find all items offer at the start. A plus for kayak service on the beach. Good infrastructure of SPA.
