Stayed here the last 3 years for tournaments! No complaints!

The room was fine for the night. The property definitely needs an update. The pictures listed are deceiving.

Horrible experience the hotel had a bad odor to it. The walls were being held up by tape. The elevator need major maintenance. The room was dingy dull had a bad odor to it, and did not look clean the toilet overflowed with someone else feces. They came to clean it. The overflow went onto the floor. They did not mop the floor from that. They did not clean the restroom from that. I had to physically go outside of the room and find someone to clean up the restroom horrible experience. I informed them that that was a bad older to the hotel. They did nothing when I was reporting the events to the hotel. The owner began to go back-and-forth with me justifying why this was that way and this was that way very bad attitude and behavior. I will never ever stay there again and I definitely don’t not expect anyone else to stay there. I really would like my money back.
Louis

I definitely enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was great with a wide selection of options, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. I also liked how conveniently located the hotel was, with nearby restaurants and gas stations just a short distance away. I would definitely stay here again.
Amy
The staff is very friendly. Elevator smelled like urine the non-smoking room didn’t smell fresh. The towels were dingy, but that’s OK because I always pack my own. Other than that the best
kayce
Nice place. A/C was not great but it kept the room decent but I'm always cold. My cousin was crazy about it but she's always hot! So if your hot natured maybe ask for room with best working a/c!!
Brenda
Clean room, good breakfast
Tracey
Staff was great. Nice and clean. Bed was pretty comfy.

Hotel is an old one and is RIGHT next to a highway on ramp. All night long we could hear vehicles revving up as they went up the ramp. Aren’t there noise reducing windows that can be installed? AC did not keep the room cool all night even though we set it at 64. Mildew on the wall next to the shower, bathroom had no vent and very poor lighting. Obviously there had been a repair where the above toilet shelf was because it still had the putty visible and had not been painted. We started referring to it as Worst Western
DAVID
The room was great, comfortable bed, the place is very clean all the staff was friendly. Had great well stocked vending machines. Variety of food places close by even within walking distances and gas stations as well. Very Easy to get to the highway. Good clean parking lot . Was very surprised how quiet the place is. There is a truck stop parking lot and Casino on the back side of the building several yards away but it was still quite enough for me to sleep comfortably. The place is clean. If I’m in the area again I will come to this place again.

The staff was friendly, and the building seemed mostly fine.
My wife and I did have a weird experience. Our key did not work at first but then one of the men figured it out and got it working.
We had a scare around 1am where someone was able to open our hotel room door. I called down stares and the man said to just lock both locks on the door to be extra safe.
He said maybe someone that took their key from a previous stay was able to open it. No real solution. A little jarring when you are having trouble with your key earlier and then someone else is able to open your door.

Room was very clean and the staff was extremely nice and helpful and breakfast was very good my overall stay was absolutely perfect!

I made a reservation but accidentally selected the wrong date, so I canceled it. I paid $154.84 and was only refunded $79.34 — they kept the rest. I even made another reservation with them for the correct date, and they still kept almost half of what I originally paid.
Be very careful when booking with this company.

I had booked 4 rooms the rooms were clean one room tv didn’t work had problems getting towels for our rooms and when I got some they were damp its unbelievable that they want to charge someone who has so many rooms and lives 5 minutes away such a high deposit I work
At a hotel and would never do that we had an event in the area that we have in Rayne every year and book several

The staff was kind, patient, and understanding. The front desk employee Aaron went above and beyond. The breakfast was good and the rooms neat and clean. We enjoyed our overnight stay traveling from Florida to Tx and plan to stay again on our way home.
Brandon
It was a nice place to stay, not too pricey. It was kept very clean and staff was very friendly and willing to help. Only issue I had was a local power outage but can’t blame the hotel for that.

Not the greatest!
Everything is very dated , lights didn’t work in our room, sheets weren’t the greatest, door didn’t completely close . Water didn’t get hot.
Danielle
The breakfast was very limited. The AC was not in good working condition because the room was warm. The room had smelly mold and rust. Towels were dingy looking
Danny
The bed was probably the worst bed I’ve ever slept in. The water pressure in the shower was pretty low. Other than that everything else about the hotel was good. There is a lot of noise due to the close proximity of the interstate
Melanie
The room was comfortable. Nothing special.
Adjoining truck stop was noisy, but slept okay.

Sheets were stained. Property was in run down condition. It hard to believe Best Western Corporate allows franchise holders to represent them like this. Im not sure where the picture of the property was taken. It must have been years ago. I mean, its okay for the price. But Im a HOG member and always use BW when Im on the road. This one missed the mark.
William
The property, staff, and breakfast were OK but what was not OK was the temperature control in the room. The AC unit was not client adjustable, but adjustable by management only from some remote location. The management's choice for appropriate temperature was not compatible with ours for proper sleeping. We had very poor sleep due to the excessive warm temperatures -- not what was expected after a very long day when checking into a facility at the rate charged. We will not make this mistake again, since we will not patronize this property again. Too many other facilities to choose from that recognize a clients needs.
Jesse T
I would come back here again. Thank you!
Carmem
I booked a non-smoking room, but the first room we were given reeked of cigarette smoke the moment we opened the door. The second room was even more unacceptable: stained bed sheets, a used lollipop stick left on the nightstand, and a strong smell of mold throughout. The overall cleanliness and condition were far below basic standards. We felt so uncomfortable that we decided to leave the hotel entirely and find another place to stay. I would strongly caution others against booking here until serious improvements are made.
Brad

We booked this room last minute for a funeral we had to travel into town for. The ac in the lobby wasn’t working, it smelled TERRIBLE. After waiting forever to check in bc there was only one person working the desk & a line (I was 2nd & it still took a long time) we head to the elevator which smelled & had no air. The entire 2nd floor & our room smelled like curry, something burning & old wet carpet (closest comparisons). Called down to the front desk bc the water in the bathroom wouldn’t get hot, the ac wouldn’t work & the tv wouldn’t turn on. No answer. We finally spoke to someone & they said there was no maintenance to fix the issues bc of the time, couldn’t switch us to a different or offer any assistance. Told us if we checkout earlier than scheduled we would lose all of our money even though we were not receiving what we paid for. We ended up staying elsewhere & had to eat the cost of two hotels. Extremely frustrating.

Vuele horrible

The owners were very nice to my family

There is only 2 hotels to pick from. This one seemed nicer so we picked it. Got to the hotel a little early and they said i had to wait to check in. Finally got to check in and the room had black mold growing in the bathroom, the shower leaks out of the bottom of the shower head. The pool was dirty my husband had to clean it so the kids could swim. Asked for coffee in the lobby and they took the coffee pot out instead of making some. There are no amenities here either. The beds hurt so bad my back is shot. Had some guys smokong weed right outside the door and they wouldn't do anything about it. The owners dont speak or understand english very well either.
Mark
Good stop on road trip on I10
This is a Truck stop hotel as long as you know that it’s very clean breakfast is good . It’s behind the frog casino which is 50 yards away. Lots of take out options around the hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful.
Peter
As good as it gets in Rayne, LA.
An older property in a nonpriority location, with the expected low shower water pressure, poor Internet bandwidth and mold in the bathroom tile, but friendly, excellent service offsets the limitations.
Steven
The staff working at registration were friendly. Housekeeping staff were also very nice. The owner of the property watched us and didnt speak during stay. They meed to make investment in new towels, the ones used were old and dingy.
Kaylyn
Great hotel!
Derek
Owner laughed when calling ahead asking about an early check in. Turned the air conditioning off in our room when they came in to clean. We spent 14 hours outside in the heat playing softball tournaments to come back to a 80 degree room. Chlorine in the pool was way over the recommended amount.
Jaye M
Good for overnight stay.
just a quick overnight stop on a long trip home. Didn't think I'd be able to sleep with traffic noise but I slept like a baby.
Nice, clean, basic motel. Gas stations, grocery store and restaurants close by.

Very clean. The only thing I would change is softer mattresses.

It would have been better but for some reason the man would not give me a printed receipt, which I was told I could get one when I check out.
Corine
Won’t stay again.
The hotel was old. Behind the nightstand was splattered dirt(?) on the wall. The room had been sprayed down with deodorizing spray just before we walked in. But when it wore off , it was musty smelling.
The one bed was lumpy and old. No microwave.
Bathtub shower safety bar was bent, the tub needs non slip stickers.

I don’t think I would recommend this hotel. They don’t allow early check in even if they have room available

I felt welcome and very satisfied wit the overall quality! I recommend this hotel.

The location was great. My only concern was, it was a non-smoking rooms and we could smell pot. It was very strong and it gave me a headache. I did report in the lobby.
Mario
Not to great
Took for ever to check in and my room was so hot and stagnant the AC was off it was like walking into a home with no Electricity.
Shannon
Conveniently located and the staff was nice. The linens had stains but seemed freshly laundered. The toilet was functional but had a crack down the center of the porcelain. There were cracks in the walls and what looked like mold in the shower. They offer a continental breakfast with minimal & stale offers. Overall, a fairly safe place to use a bed for the night, with friendly staff, but definitely overpriced for the offers.
Timothy
Nice quiet stay
Elizabeth
Nice and clean, friendly staff easy check in

Good rate, room was clean.

I didn't like that the Wifi did not work on the second floor due to lack of repeaters at the end of the hall. I did not like that when i flushed the toilet it make a loud 18 Wheeler sound thru the pipes.

Unexpected A Great Place
So greatful for the gentleman at the front for allowing us to check in early. We arrived in town for an event several hours before check in and he was very helpful. The room was a basic room but perfect. The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we slept great.
Delfina
They say they have free breakfast and that's a lie. The room smells bad. The AC doesn't work well. The washer and dryer don't work.terrible experience
Krystal
I really enjoyed myself. Very clean. Breakfast was great too!

I recently stayed at the Best Western hotel in Rayne, Louisiana, and it was a thoroughly disappointing experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the pervasive smell of cigarette smoke that seemed to permeate every corner of the hotel. Despite it being a non-smoking room, the odor was inescapable and very unpleasant.
The air conditioning barely worked, making my room uncomfortably hot and difficult to relax in. It felt like the room was stuck in a perpetual state of muggy discomfort, which made sleeping nearly impossible.
To make matters worse, the television remote was broken, rendering the TV useless unless I wanted to stand up every time I needed to change the channel. Some of the lights in the room were also broken, adding to the sense of neglect and lack of maintenance.
Overall, my stay at the Best Western in Rayne was far below acceptable standards. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Truck stop next door was a little noisy for a while. Not much lighting in bathroom

Our room was clean however the door didn’t have a security latch on the door. Felt unsafe. The pool was dirty. The property needs an undate.
Sally
We weren't there very long but it felt safe and clean enough. Easy access to interstate.

Our stay was very pleasant and short. The service was Great

Terrible trip.
First thing hotel clerk didn't want to be there i guess.
The elevator didn't work.
Homeless walking thee parking lot.
No, it wasn't a good place to stay.

Unfortunately the elevator was broken and had to use the stairs to second floor. Close to I10 a lot of truck noise not bad if you keep AC fan on.
Nikolas
Sandwiched between freeway and a rest area for hundreds of idling semis. Why would you build here? Trucks also make noise coming and going and beeping while backing up. I also feel weird. Mold? Pet dander? ALso hard to find. Poor signage. Gross town. Barking dogs. My worst choice of new year so far. Stained towels. Gaps in door frame. Tv keeps defaulting to no reception setting. Avoid.
Jeanelle
It was located in walking distance to everything
yvonne
I have nothing bad to say, it was quiet and clean. The only thing I didn’t like, which had nothing to do with the hotel, was it only had fast food restaurants nearby. You had to go to another town to get to a restaurant!
Peter
Mattress was terrible. Toilet was not well secured to the floor, would move.
Tommy
Evening or night clerk had a personality
Alberto
Terrible
Vicki
The toilet sounded like air raid horns every time you flushed the toilet. When we got to hotels the second night dead tired and dragging into rest. We came in and go up to our rooms and not one key card worked. So I had to walk all the way back down to the front desk. When I walked around the corner the clerk says, “oh, your key cards didn’t work.” Okay, so if you knew there was a problem, they should have stopped us before we went all the way to our rooms.
