Patrick
This hotel always supplies me with what I want; a quiet place to sleep with a decent bed and a fair price. Unfortunately, this June 2026 visit the price seemed to have increased 20-25% so I was sad and cried.
I always stay here when visiting Lafayette, so whether I give it 3 or 5 stars don’t matter, I’ll be back. Unless it’s $80/night again. If that happens I’ll never be back and will stay at one of those sketchy hotels on University and save $30.

Great location right off I-10, secure and comfortable at a very affordable rates.
Mark
My room was spacious and clean. The AC worked well, the bed was comfortable, and the room included a table and two chairs. The negatives: the toilet seat was loose and sliding. And the sink faucet was missing an aerator resulting in its water spouting uncontrollably in all directions.
PATRICIA
The air condition was set on low and could not change it higher. We put our baseball fans on so it was good. The room and pool were clean so we did not complain. The breakfast could have had fruit, eggs and waffle machine like most free breakfast has. and no elevators> That did not bother us. However, some need elevators and carts to stay longer. We only stayed one day night.

Dirty floors inside the room itself. The sheets and bedding were stained and one blanket actually had a cigarette hole. The whole hallway and room smelled like stale cigarettes. There is also some kind of truck or construction yard right outside the window so there was noise from that making sleep difficult.
Sandy
very nice location, staff was super .....
April
Quick trip stay only, not for longer stays.
Allyson
The room was clean, the only thing was there was what looked like pubic hair all in the shower. There is no elevator so you have to climb stairs and it is a little warm in the hall and a little stinky. The room however smells clean. We didn’t use the pool, but it was open and looked very nice. Would stay again!
Sherry
The room was very clean and quiet. The a/c work exceptionally well i have to have a room really cold to sleep well this was not a issue at this hotel. Bed very comfortable and fluffy pillows. I will stay here again

NO POOL AVAILABILITY 😢 😞
Joann
Fun room decor, friendly staff. Coffee good but breakfast: dry cereal, white bread for toast, instant oatmeal packs. We were there 4 nights so went to the grocery store. Glad there was frige and microwave.
Rebecca
Staff was great.Clean but old property...
Had pool but not open would be nice if you could of at least sit outside even if not open.Breakfast was sparse.

A very well-located hotel with easy access. The room was clean and equipped with everything necessary. The staff was very friendly. Very competitive prices for its category.

#1. Staff were friendly. #2. Parking is a pothole disaster. It needs repaving. #3. Hotel is old and musty. #4 weed smoke permeated the 2nd floor corridor. Only positives were staff was friendly and room was clean relative to the rest of the hotel. It's price reflects the quality
Marvin
Good for the price, which is why it got a 3 star from me. Smelled of smoke in both rooms. Tub had a crack in middle so couldn't take a shower.
Allison
We booked a double room and saw online there were rollaway beds for $10 extra... we arrived at 8:30pm and after we checked in i requested a rollaway and extra bedding...i asked 3x and didnt get a response until 11:15 that there was nothing. My son slept on the floor with 2 blankets off the beds. Hallways smelled like an old honeky tonk- stale beer and cigarette. But it was quiet and i slept well.
Vince
Room and surroundings fine, but bathroom sink had a broken plug. Fortunately, I always carry a universal stopper, so I wasn't inconvenienced.
Michael
Room was clean and staff welcoming.
Weldon
Clean rooms. Towers. Add more shampoo. Bottle water.
Russell
Staff and quiet room.
Kaci
Customer service at check in wasn’t great. The tub had a big crack inside it, and the shower only worked on steaming hot water. Prolly won’t return to this location.
SHELIA SONNIER
VERY CLEAN. STAFF P0LITE AND COURTEOUS
Rebecca
Staff was very friendly, room was well updated and clean. Breakfast is only toast, cold cereal, and instant oatmeal. Overall good value for rate
Mark
Nice room and pleasant stay, but the toilet seat was falling off. Breakfast was available, but very limited options.
Robert
Have stayed here frequently. Always excellent accommodation.
Elda
Computer System was down and could not get checked in. Manger onsite was very rude and not helpful at all.
Rose
It was a nice place i did do my laundry .. staff was friendly.
Bhavik
We did an overnight trip, it's okay. The room had a strong damp smell that was pretty strong. The flush in the toilet was leaking so it kept flushing all night as soon as it filled up.
Okay stay for overnight passing by I guess

Not good place

Very basic hotel. It was around 70 a night, so I guess you get what you pay for. No elevator, but not a big deal. The stench in both stairwells and the 2nd floor hallway was a very big deal. People are obviously hanging out in the stairwells smoking and it has permeated the stairwells and floated up to the 2nd floor and permeated the hallway. We were surprised the room, nonsmoking, didn't smell of cigarette smoke. 2 of the 4 bed pillows strongly smelled of cigarette smoke. The fitted sheet didn't fit the bed and kept coming loose at the corners. Breakfast was a toaster and several slices of bread spread around. Deep pocket sheets, shampooing the carpets, and scrubbing the walls would make a huge difference.
Michael
Don't double-charge for a one-night stay at your facility. I have disputed this with my credit card company.
LaFreida
They should offer a little more for breakfast, perhaps some fresh fruit.
My room was comfortable but the toilet was not clean.
Shae at the front desk was amazing.

The room was very clean, check in was smooth. The front desk clerk was very friendly
Stephanie
The decor was pleasant. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. We were not able to use our Netflix sign-in on our tv. I appreciated that it was only 15 dollars for my pup. The bath/shower needs to be updated, but the water temp was hot enough to enjoy the shower. The amenities were minimal. We left before the breakfast. The receptionist Shea was friendly, but the night manager was not.
Ericka
Breakfast is only toast and cereal
Heedo
Friendly staff
Wayne
Everything was great
Robert
Another great stay at this location.
Autum
The breakfast was a joke. Stale bread and ants in the cereal dispenser. But the room was clean, the beds were comfortable, the pillows decent, the pool was nice and it had a grill. Popeyes and McDonald's and churches chicken walking distance. Also a cute little candy, fudge, and truffles shop, and duck pond.
Weldon
I love the place and people
Lorenzo
The smoke smell was unbearable

Everyone was polite, and friendly! Room was clean! And comfortable

Not good
CONS: The cleanliness was terrible. The smell was rough on the husband’s sinuses. Overwhelming smell of dust and dirt coming from the carpet. My little one’s feet were filthy within an hour. There were stains on the comforter and towels, that’s just nasty. -Photos from after the second time I cleaned her feet.
PROS: The sheets looked clean, the mattress was surprisingly comfortable, pillows were good, and the water was hot.

Would recommend!
Staff were amazing and helpful! Room was clean and comfortable. They really went above and beyond to make our stay great! Thank you!

During my three-night stay, my room was never cleaned, and I never received fresh towels. When I requested clean towels, I was told I would have to wait for the cleaning staff. Additionally, the back stairways consistently smelled of weed, which was concerning, especially since I had my son with me. The breakfast options were limited to just toast and coffee, which was disappointing.
Beverly
Very good customer service
Daniel
Don't expect breakfast to be anything good. Toast or ceral is about it.
Katherine
Staff very courteous, room very ckean, hall very clean

Booked this hotel two months in advance as they had smoking rooms. When we arrived they didn't have one for us even though reservation was confirmed
Michael
Smelled like water damage and a bed of bricks would have been better
Tillisa
Tiffany was amazing. I will only stay here only because of her. She was truly amazing. Her customer service is top tier. She is definitely an asset to the company.
Judy
Very friendly staff. Shea went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Housekeeping very friendly and helpful. Will stay there again on our next visit.

I know that I wasn't expecting much, because i did read the reviews, but I guess i missed some.
no one ever came in and took out the trash, we stayed from Thursday to Monday,
the \"breakfast sucked\" it was just juice, coffee, cereal and toast. thank you but no thanks. the only reason why we picked this hotel was because it said it had breakfast.
they need to change it to CONTIENTAL BREAKFAST .

It was ok....the pool is small & It was really crowded... breakfast was bread and cereal and pack of oatmeal and grits.... overall ok
Harold
TV was not working and toilet not working
Kelli
Not the best, not the worst either.
Stay was ok. Smelled like smoke right when you walk in the side entrances. Bathroom sink was broken. Lots of people hanging outside smoking. People in and out that didn’t appear to be guests. I didn’t have any personal problems. But since I travel with children, I wouldnt stay again, likely. I felt uneasy. But it was ok. I would’ve left and not worried about the mo ex that I was losing if I felt 100% unsafe. It’s ok if passing and need a quick stat.
Terry
We arrived and there was no parking left at hotel we requested a pet friendly room on first floor and when we arrived none were available Settled for handicap room. wanted a bottle of water and none were available even in vending machines. loud music was playing in parking lot.
Imna
Stay was wonderful
Kaleb
Great stay easy check in I’ll recommend this hotel to anyone
Tressa
We booked for our family. They were aware that we had 5 children and 5 adults. They would not allow us more towels with out a complete fuss. The hotel was not clean. The breakfast was very limited. Will not stay again.

Old. Outdated.Smelly
Connie
The room was old looking..paint peeling.
Could not connect to the internet. TV keep going in & out for connection. The telephone on the nite stand was not on. No Blow Dryer. Ice macine was broken. I had originally booked the room for 2 nites but had to wake up early before check out so i could cancel 2nd nite. And to think this hotel is backed by Wyndham 🙄
And if this is the kind of room set aside for people to book through Expedia to get better deals then i will not be using Expedia services again.
No, i did not take pictures but should have.
Your company should send someone incognito with a room booked through Expedia to see just how awful it is. Its like they save the worst rooms for customers who are not paying the full price

Its was nice. Although the breakfast was very poor. Only served 2 kinds of cereal and white bread for toast.
Penny
It’s clean quiet and centrally located to food and shopping
David
Nice place
Sonia
Would never book this place again! Room smelled so bad, under the supposedly clean sheets there was food! When you walk in, it was dirty place. The lady at the front desk was horrible, terrible attitude and very disrespectful. I had to stay the first night because I couldn’t cancel but I cancelled the rest of my stay and went somewhere else.
Christina
Very clean and quiet

It was very nice!

the staff here is great. they answered every question and were friendly. I was even witness to an angry customer who took out her \"issues\" with the front desk. The real issue was the customer didn't communicate to begin with. Not the front person's fault in any way.
real issues were - Room was damp. Woke up with sore throat, and noticed everything was damp when we came back from being gone 8 hours. The \"air conditioner\" is more like a swamp cooler. This seems to be an issue with MANY hotels in the Lafayette / surrounding area. The Beds need to be replaced. I'm downing aspirin to try and fend off my lower back issue I got while staying here.
great location, plenty of places to eat at that are local, and again the staff was awesome. This is a wyndham property, and they WYNDHAM should fix things. including opening the pool. The corporation isn't broke.
thanks to the staff one more time.

Not fancy but clean
Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned every day with fresh towels put out even though they didn't have to, signs in rooms said they would only change them every 3 days. They do need a bigger parking lot, very crowded, had to park next door at gas station one night.
Wanda
I have a boyfriend that could have handled this for me. I was able to come down to the front desk and handle it myself. Thought was taking care of by expedia.com but was not. Was able to be helped at front desk. Ms Donna the young lady that service my room. Was very helpful please make sure she gets kudos for that. Front desk lady was very accommodating as well. Miss Ashley
Jacques
Love it would stay there more
Timothy
Pool was closed. Laundry facilities were closed. No room service at all. Will never stay there again
Niya
Never AGAIN
The room appeared to be clean till something fell on tje floor and when we went to pick it up there was a syringe needle, && there was trash under the bed. It was a last minute hotel book, but I will never spend my money with them again. The pool was also out of service for whatever reason.
Daniel
I stay here every time I come to this area. It has what in want in the area or it is just a short drive to get where I want. The hotel in clean, nice and no odors. Breakfast is very limited, cereal, toast, juice and coffee.

The entrance to the rooms smells like gas station bathroom but inside the room it was pretty cleaned and the bed is very comfortable and clean

The property was clean, quiet, and in a convenient location with easy access to shopping and dining. Staff was friendly, and overall the experience was excellent. The only issue was that the toilet in our room wasn’t working properly, which was a bit of an inconvenience. Aside from that, everything else was solid and met expectations. Would stay again if that gets fixed.
