Hotel was great. Warm indoor pool was the icing on the cake. Nice size room, comfortable bed, and enough room on the in-room table to have dinner. Only wished free breakfast was available.

The first room had a broken lock on the door. The second room didn’t have a working microwave or fridge. The pool was said to be warmed but was freezing cold and we couldn’t use the hot tub. The towels by the pool was dirty and there were used band aids by the pool

Staff was excellent, rooms were clean and modern, the three things that I was looking for in a property were a bar, indoor pool and a jacuzzi. This property advertised all three but none were in service. Had I known this before hand I would’ve stayed elsewhere.

This location was unlike any Courtyard Marriott I have stayed at previously for several reasons.
The housekeeping staff was inconsiderate, disregarding the sign on the door. The hotel website advertises free hot breakfast, however, that was not an option. The only option for breakfast was an expensive menu. The menu also did not include child options. Due to the hotel advertising mistake, the staff at the bistro went above and beyond to give our family of 5 one complementary meal. The bistro staff was amazing in comparison to the hotel staff.
The indoor pool needed to be cleaned- it had a visible film on the top of the water. This hotels sole redemption is that it is located in Lafayette, LA

Pros: clean, lady that worked the coffee shop is the best asset this place has(great customer service), updated, pool area was clean.

Cons: it ticks me off when I specifically choose a property based on the amenities offered and said amenities are not working properly. Hot tub was cold! We couldn’t get the fire pit working. Night staff guy was unfriendly at checkin and had zero clue what to do with fire pit or hot tub. If you aren’t naturally great at being welcoming and helpful, then learn the skill of customer service or find somewhere else to work.

I had a confirmed reservation that I had made a week prior. I arrived at the hotel on the evening of my reservation, and the front desk told me that they had no more rooms available. No one called emailed or texted me to tell me that I didn’t have a hotel room. They said there was a problem with their computer program, so there were lots of people arising to check in who didn’t have rooms. This is very unprofessional and inconvenient.

Older building needs attention.

I've stayed here years ago and it was nice. This trip wasn't so good. Finding an unwelcome guest crawling from under the table while my wife was eating lunch was disgusting! She wanted to change rooms but decided to stay. Upon going to check out with all our luggage and bags the elevator was broken and waited 30 minutes before having to use the stairs with all our stuff. The beds were comfortable and the breakfast was surprisingly good. I don't think I will stay there again though.

Our room was great, clean and roomy on the second floor. But the air conditioning in the hall was blowing hot air. It’s August. Downstairs, they have a snack bar. The vent hood needs repair because the entire downstairs reeked of burned grease. The pool and jacuzzi were great. Probably won’t stay again at this particular hotel, unless they make repairs.

The cleaning staff and The kind lady at the counter where they serve coffee and food were so sweet.
The lady behind the front desk was quiet and not very hospitable. I asked her what the total was when I was checking in, and she said “I don’t know.” When checking out she didn’t speak one word. I’m not sure what was going on, but I’ve stayed at your establishment before and never had issues until now!

The room was good, the location was good. We stopped in for a night while passing through the area. We arrived at 8pm and left at 5am. Didn’t eat breakfast because it doesn’t start til 6. The bed was a little more firm then we like so it wasn’t a great night sleep. (Wish I had read that on a review so I wouldn’t have booked it).
