Bed was clean. We had to make up the sofa bed, mattress was appalling, room smelled like an old storage building very musty, shower door was dirty, breakfast was bare minimum bananas, bread for toast, cereal, 2 jugs of yogurt in fridge, juice machine was running but no juice would come out, waffle maker with plain waffles. Pool did not open while we there although we had called ahead and asked for pool hours. Right off the interstate and plenty of parking. Room did not have a top lock only door lock. No issues with rooms nearby. Hallway floor looked pretty dirty.
Larry
Pool is down for the summer.

I booked a 1 bed queen room and I got to the room there was a nasty huge stain on the floor in front of the door. I also noticed the woman at the desk gave me a double bed room when that wasn’t the room type I booked. I asked for the room that matched what I booked and she looked at me with an attitude and said no that’s what we got.

Love it

The toilet in the room was unstable. It wobbled. The pool was under "maintenance. " clearly it hadn't been used or cleaned in months.

I didn't eat the breakfast. I probably wouldn't have eaten it anyway. I have picture to show how horrible the room is! I just was there on April 18, 2026. The air conditioner vent wasn't clean! The window had rust and mold in it! The carpet and the walls were dirty. The bathroom door was stuck in the wall! The bathroom faucet was broken! The shower door was rusted and ugly! The front desk said all the room were in about the same condition, but she didn't offer me a refund!! The front desk spoke in bad English. I wouldn't sleep here anymore as a matter, if all the rooms there are in that condition they should close this dump down!! And yes, I deserve a refund!!!
Richard
Rooms smelled antiseptic...at best, women of "questionable" reputation in parking area, ROACHES, ripped carpets in hall, ripped drapes in rooms visible from outside.
DID NOT STAY, checked in to attend a nearby concert returned found roaches in room and checked out immediately.

The room had a terrible smell. There was mildew on the curtains. Mold around the air conditioning unit. The was brown content on the door frame of the bathroom that appeared to be poop or vomit. There was spiders in the bathroom with webs. The furniture was damaged. The outside of the microwave had dried food on it. The pictures online do not present an accurate view of the room. Very misleading. The pool was not filled and was not an area to relax near
Melody
Very nice room. Staff was excellent. Great shower. Bed was too firm for my taste but otherwise excellent. Quiet and safe location with easy freeway access. Would definitely stay there again.

Probably the worse hotel I’ve stayed in a loooong time. Nasty, unclean, infested and in need of a remodel in the worse way. Could possible be bed bugs. DO NOT STAY HERE
Samantha
The staff were all super kind. However, the first room we were assigned smelled like a wet dog and had mildew on the curtains above the AC and in the shower. We were changed to another room and it was ok, but the AC unit was black in the vents, the shower had absolutely no water pressure, and there was a big stain on the carpet that looked like it was wet. The hotel isnt well kept at all.

We stayed for a whole week for a softball tournament. Not many options for breakfast. Pool and elevator were out. Anyone could get into hotel through back door without a card. I was disappointed as most
Thomas
It was a nice hotel for the price, breakfast was decent and staff was nice. The room was good enough, however almost all the electrical outlets were very worn out so all of our chargers would just fall out. The parking lot and grounds were rough and could use some cleaning up. One big downside for me was the pool was down, which my kids were not happy about and the elevator was also down with a sign stating they're getting a new one soon. We most likely will opt for a different hotel if we ever go back to Lafayette.

Low expectation met. Elevator did not work, breakfast was old and limited, pool was out of irder just like everything there.
Judi
Property was run-down and not well kept. Security of door left a lot to be desired and I had ants in my bed. Shower was too small and not well suited for handicap accessible, as promised.

Upon check out asked about POOL and wss told it was closed! Called 888 number snd asked to move to another hotel for POOL and was hung up on x3 everytime I said it was for a POOL. So stayed but not able to relax at pool which was reason I was going

Rooms smelled
No security lock in the door
Things fell off the wall and not secured
Air conditioner was not working
Phones didn’t work so we walked down to the front desk and they moved us to a room almost equally as bad
Not friendly staff at all definitely would not recommend
Luckily we only stayed one night

Quiet. No shower curtain. Floors were dirty smoking of marajuana and cigarettes. Listed as non smoking facilities. Jetted tub had mold all around it. Needs severe updating.

Creepy front desk worker named Sanjib. Unwelcoming and rude. Got to the hotel late at night. We went to bed but noticed my son’s pull out couch didn’t have bedding. At two in the morning Sanjib came up to our room WITHOUT bedding. My small boy answered the door to receive bedding and Sanjib walked passed him empty-handed and stood in the middle of the room, without asking for permission to enter, with all of us in bed. Holding a discussion with guests at 2am in the middle of the room, while we are not dressed appropriately and in bed is highly unprofessional, lacking etiquette, and perverted. My wife felt like he just wanted to look at her and our daughters in bed. He debated with me about bedding and I kept pointing that there was none on the couch or in the closet. Give your guests what they ask for without questioning them. And do not invade their privacy. I can’t imagine a female staying there if he had the audacity to enter a guest’s room at 2am when I was there. Do not open the door without a bar or chain preventing entry to your room at this hotel.
The photos show lack of upkeep but by far the worst part was feeling invaded.

It was nice for the price!
It was nice for the price we paid for a quick get away. everything was clean - We liked the continental breakfast and the pool. Our room phone did not work, but that wasn't too big of a deal.

I ain’t like how they want you to pay for 2 rooms if you have guest over

Easily accesible on/off the freeway. Decent breakfast spread. Clean and quiet, no frills hotel. Pleasant staff at check in and check out.

It was damp/humid in the room. It smelled poorly. There were a few small pieces of trash on the floor in the bathroom…

Great stay! Clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff at check-in.

Room was very clean as well as the breakfast area. Staff was friendly.

Better than first impression
Our room was clean, and the man at the front desk was great -- quick, friendly, etc. The hotel common spaces (halls, elevator) needed to be vacuumed. This made the "first impression" seem shabby. The room itself was clean. And our one-night stay was fine.
Lynnette
It is ok
Hotels really need to give people a real blanket on top. This ‘sheet’ version of a blanket is just not cool. It just wasn’t that clean but we slept fine.

Will never stay again. If I could have cancelled I would have. The room smelled. Carpet in room was disgusting. Was not worth the money I spent on two rooms.
Hugh
awful
It was a roach motel not even worth 75..00 a night
Jennifer
There were bugs all over the stairwell, in the bathroom, and other places. The pull out sofa had massive brown stains on the mattress and no sheets. The towels had brown stains all over them. I ended up driving back home that night and waking up at 5 am to drive back to Lafayette to coach my game.

Overnight Stay
Room was presentable but had an odor. Purchased some febreeze, sprayed the room down to remove the odor. After that the room was tolerable fir my one night stay. Bathroom door was hard to open & close. It may have been off track since it was a sliding door. Overall I slept good. Give it a 7 out of 10 rating.
Jason
Terrible

Never again
The hotel was filthy. The carpet is nasty, hotel stunk, the beds where wrinkle and nasty. there was dry blood on the lamp shade. complete nasty hotel.
Neah
Smelt like marijuana in the hotel and room. The hotel was gross. Not the cleaners fault but building was poorly maintained and lacks updates and cosmetic repairs. Towels smelt bad. Wouldn’t even attempt to eat the breakfast there. Noisy all night.
Dorothy
Carpet very dirty. bathroom floor painting bad.
Melissa
Not as described! Rooms were Dirty and smelly. Breakfast has expired dates on some items and nothing was working.
Krysta
Room had a smell, sheet was stained or dirty, several outlets in the room didn’t work and couldn’t reach front desk from the phone.
Christina
Thought I was getting a room with one of those triangular hot tubs in the room but got a jetted regular tub in the bathroom. We reserved this room because we wanted to soak due to sore muscles. We both barely fit in the tub. Pictures of the room do not show the tub. Also non smoking room smelled strongly of smoke. Kids stomping above us until very late at night along with running up and down the hallway hitting the walls and doors and screaming. No vending machine with snacks. Needless to say the relaxation we wanted was not what we got. Will definitely look for other options next time.
Evelyn
Nice place , good breakfast .

You get what you pay for.
It smelled damp and musty. The carpet needs a major shampooing. The toilet was not cleaned.
I will say the pillows were extremely comfortable but the smell kept me more awake than asleep.

Upon check in, front desk asked for $100 cash for incidentals. The side entrance was held open by a chair. My husband moved the chair, and the door was propped back open. The plug in's didnt work. There was mold on the ceiling in the restroom. There were holes in the window curtain. Carpet was pulling up off the floor. I would not suggest anyone stay at this hotel.
Ariana
Was clean but some areas in the room had mold you could smell it and it smelled like wet paint also other then that is was okay

The entrance & lobby cleaned and smelled fresh. The hallways, room, air conditioner…. DISGUSTING! Rooms are smokey and just disgusting. Homeless sleeping in their cars in the parking lot. Never again will I book and I would never refer anyone else.

Old hotel! Not what the pictures look like. Our room was clean but it is old so cleaning didn't help it.
The lady at the desk was very nice.
But we will not be going back

Beware!
I chose this hotel based upon it's offer of a studio like sleeping setting. I needed a separate space for one of my travelers. The photo lead me to believe the sofa bed was tucked away for privacy. It was not. The bathroom had only a shower and very tight space. The TV was tiny. The breakfast buffet was very good. A wide variety of items including waffles and yogurts was available. The cranberry juice was so goood! If you are looking for a place to get a good nights sleep and nothing else, this place will suffice.
Jo
The facility is currently understaffed and under renovations; however, that being said - General Manager was more than helpful. He went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as pleasant as possible.
Kim
The shower door and bathroom door were both broken. Water leaked into the bathroom while showering and the door to the bathroom could not be closed. The floors were very worn and soiled in most areas. Trim was falling off the wall. The mattress on the bed was very old and worn. The staff was very friendly but the condition of the hotel was very poor for the cost.
Lesley
A big let down for $150
First time I have ever complained. As soon as we walk in the room the smell took over. Sheets had stains on them. Microwave was gross. I have pictures. We left and went home when concert was over. I would never stay in this hotel again!!!
Steven
When booking the pictures didn’t match the hotel, when I first got into the room 2 caterpillars were crawling on the floor, a bug crawling up the wall and the shower still had hair in it as it was never cleaned, the complimentary bottles of lotion and shampoo on the counter were used and left there empty, the door wasn’t properly aligned and I could see in and out of my room which my room was right across from where you exit the elevator was a lot of foot traffic passed the door.
Daryl
Very nice hotel. Great breakfast.
Scott
The property appears updated on the outside except for the pool with nasty brown water, trash, and furniture in it. The inside is dirty, not just old. The room was filthy, shower door didn't shut, tiles missing, dirty and stains on curtains, etc. I saw reviews that said this place was clean and that is false. The check in area is just as bad. Didn't even consider eating the breakfast.
Keith

Disappointing
The check in was fine and relatively easy. The room was in need of updating. It had a smell and the a/c didn’t work well so during the night was unpleasant. There was mold or something on the shower door and walls. The door lock was broken. There was noise in the night sounding like someone hitting the wall with a pipe or heavy object, waking me up. They advertised breakfast but there were no options. Not the absolute worst hotel but definitely not a great overnight stay. We will not go back.
Zoraida
The light wasn’t working properly it keep blinking, the handle on the door was just not ok, looks like they put something on it, the bed, really bad experience.
Trishata
The overall stay was great. Friendly staff and great customer service. The shower had mold in it and the shower water was very cold.
Traver
Recovery to a bad weekend.
After a bust at the first hotel, we found this one quickly. Check-in was awesome, despite being upset about the events at our previous hotel. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to help. The hotel was clean and could tell there had been many recent changes. Staff talked about their recent change in ownership, there were many changes happening and more was yet to come.
David
Shower adjustment
Shower adjustment didn’t work and there’s no way they didn’t know this but they put me in the room anyways. It was obvious it was broken for awhile. He even told me several of their rooms were out of order then argued with me saying mine was fine.
