This hotel served its purpose as an affordable place to sleep. But it was grungy. The breakfast was BAD. I would not stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel for a night stop during a long road trip. It’s perfect for this purpose. It looks recently renovated on the inside. The rooms are kind of small but just right for what we needed. The breakfast was VERY good. Good variety, the lady in charge of breakfast is very nice and friendly.

We had to go to 3 or4 rooms until we found one that was less smelly. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful but why were all the rooms so smelly and dirty? the area is also pretty sketchy and we were approached by some shady characters when going out to our car to get things. i would not recommend. It is close toIH 10 so it is convenient but next time we travel we we will drive further out to get a clean and good smelling hotel in a safer area.

Management has way too many children. My family could not even enjoy the small pool because all 27 of them had it crowded and were unruly. They stayed out there the entire afternoon, evening, and a large part of the night, well past closing hours blaring loud vulgar music with no regard to others around them. This is supposed to be a hotel, not a family dwelling or zoo...Cleanliness was mediocre at best. There is a large roach infestation. Staff was unwelcoming with a few rude comments thrown into the mix. My reservation was for a room with 2 queen beds. The beds were not queen, but rather full size and were not secured. Really the only good thing I can say was the breakfast..it was better than most hotels ive stayed at. We appreciate the opportunity, but won't be coming back.

Hard to expect much for a $100 hotel room, but the property was not well kept, lots of damage to the Sheetrock walls and half the outlets did not work in our room.

The hotel room was nice and spacious. i stayed in a king bed room. the area was not the best. it was next to a motel where some sketchy people were standing outside and arguing. i will say the only problem i had with the room was the floor was sticky and felt slimy and also the shower wasn’t the cleanest.

From a positive standpoint it was quiet, acceptably clean and had enough parking to house a 16' box truck with a car trailer. What I did not appreciate was the host raising his voice when telling me that it is a non smoking room and that there is a large fee if I smoked in it. As someone who does not smoke I would have brushed it off except he than placed me in a painted over room that was previously a smoking room. I could smell the nicotine seeping through the paint on the walls, and the air coming out of the AC smelled vaguely of an ash trey.

Everybody was excellent and professional
Elevator barely working. Terrible choice in floors. Slippery! Toilet is the smallest they make. No room. Flush terrible. A/C ran all night. Everything was damp in the rooms. Breakfast was good. Spend some money and fix it up. I will not stay there again. They need security around. Alot of riff raff all around.

The room was clean, but the floors were slippery as if someone mopped with grease. The TV isn't a smart tv. The tub had a slow leak, therefore showering was hard. The ac wouldn't consistently stay cold.

Stranded in the rain, we jumped on this nearby hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful; room was clean and comfortable; convenient and safe parking. Breakfast was not spectacular, but value great - better than what you'd expect from a Comfort Inn.

The floors in the room were not very clean. Excessive damage/worn tub and vanity sink. It appeared to have some new furniture but no updates to the physical room and bathroom. Hallway walls very dirty. Parking lot security questionable with no oblivious cameras that I saw around yet the street in front of hotel had city installed cameras with blue flashing lights that are typically used in areas of concern. I went to walk my dog at around sunset and was approached by two stray dog in the parking lot that I had to get away from my dog. Pet fee was more than what was advertised online and front desk person showed zero interesting or care in correcting the discrepancy.

The location was close to downtown near the festival and the staff was nice. The bed frames have metal wrapping that makes noise when you get in and out of the bed. It was a bit annoying but tolerable.

The property is old and could stand an update. Painting, caulking, just some of the visual reminders that the property is not a 5-star hotel. It was adequate Everything appeared to be clean. The bed was very comfortable. But you basically get what you pay for in todays' economy. Probably would not go back. The complimentary breakfast was better than most.

I travel a lot for work. This property served it's purpose the 4 days I needed to be there, but it was really run down. With that you almost always experience paper thin walls and a large gap between the bottom of the room door and floor, which does not help with noise either. Elevator was down the first night (took the stairs from there on so I'm not sure if/when it was fixed during my stay). Room felt clean and bed was comfortable; pillows were not comfortable (very thin). Otherwise, the room itself did not feel maintained and with obvious signs of wear and tear. Conveniently located directly off the highway, but in a super shady part of town. Not the worst I've ever experienced, but this is more of a $60 per night hotel, rather than the average $93 room price I paid ($144 Sat night, $76 all others). All in all, I wouldn't stay there again. Hope this helps.

Even though this place was obviously an older building, their rooms were very updated and comfortable. Wonderful place for a pet. My recommendation is take a piece of that space by the big trees and fence it in so the dogs can run a little. Only complaint, could not get WiFi to connect. But is nice place for the price.

The hotel staff was very kind. This is an older hotel that has had some updates. The room floor was not very clean, but the bathroom and beds had been cleaned. The night we stayed someone burnt toast in the lobby at 8am which resulted in the fire alarms going off and they had a hard time getting them to stop. We packed quickly and left because of the chaos.

The hotel is remodeled but rooms look and feel like a cheap flip with paint coming off the walls cheap looking upgrade. Some stains on comforter but it was good for what it was a little sleep before hitting the road again. It wouldn't be somewhere I just chose to stay if that make sense. The staff was really great and accommodating to us as we drove in late night.

The air conditioning in our room was on but it was so hot we couldn’t sleep. The thermostat read 61 but my husband grabbed a work thermometer and it was showing 78 in the room. We stopped at this hotel after driving for 16 hours straight and weren’t able to get a wink of sleep. Besides the ac not working the beds make a God awful sound every single time you move. The mattress is set on a metal frame so the slightest movement makes a loud noise which kept my kids from sleeping all night. This was just a horrible experience all the way around! The room definitely was NOT worth the money we paid. The only saving grace was the nice staff and continental breakfast. We will not be staying again.

The hotel was recently renovated, however, it was done inexpensively. They put down self stick vinyl floor that were already coming up. The paint was patchy and the trip was done poorly. They left the old yellowing outlets and light switches. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. They also had a good breakfast.

Not worth the cost

Building and especially the room was extremely muggy to the point clothes were damp and floor was slick. Upon walking around in socks, they were filthy within minutes, even though floors appeared to be clean, but felt wet and grimey. Pictures are misleading. Building is old and foundation is in need of repair. Breakfast was below average. No snack machines. Sketchy neighborhood.
