As Always the entire staff is always professional with smile, and always willing to solve any problems that might occur, the only problem I’ve had is with my door key but when I go to the front desk they always apologize for any inconvenience in which is never a problem. The best staff I’ve had the pleasure of meeting.

I was not appreciative of the woodspring suites in Lafayette. The AC didn’t work, the TV was very dark with no color to watch. I was there from the 17th thru the 21st. They have kitchenette but why? I went to staff and ask do you have anything to use of the stove. They said you have to buy your own. I said you don’t rent anything like one skillet, Or pot. No forks or dishes. I said i wish i knew this I would never booked on line.

I was a little apprehensive after reading others' reviews but I found my stay to be perfectly comfortable and adequate for the price I paid. There are basics missing, such as a coffee maker and a bathroom trash can, plus the room has a strange smell at times, but the room was clean, the AC worked well and the hotel was very quiet at night. It's very close to everywhere we wanted to go. Fine for a couple of nights.

The bed and room was infested with critters. Towels were severely stained. Room had an awful smell. As a healthcare professional it saddens me how management thinks this is acceptable. They were quick to tell me that the room was non-refundable…understood but why not give me a clean room or at least offer to “clean” the room I was given. The only rest I got was in my car. I was miserable daily trying to care for patients being sleep deprived. I am not ok. This WILL NOT be swept under the rug. No one deserves to be expected to live in such an environment.

Room was average, but as far as the noise it’s constant I’d rather sleep on the train tracks to stay here again.dogs barking people above me walking like they was about to fall through the ceiling, somewhere down the hall seems like someone was moving furniture all night. On arrival, sketchy person hanging out front. Foyer had a bleach smell. Sparse furniture in registration area. Not a very welcoming entrance. I would venture with the price a place for someone in transition from homeless ? Sorry, it looked nice and new from pics. There was a bag of room trash left outside elevator for our 2 day stay. Nothing but soap in bathroom. Old towels. No closet . Open rack for hanging. Beds on metal frames that show metal, no cover on these. Tiny bed pillows. Will not be staying there again

It’s a place where people stay and actually live. We arrived late and it took an hour in a half to check in because their check in closes at 10:00pm. So it was after midnight. No ice machines nor coffee. The rooms were spacious but the fire alarm went off when I had the water running for a shower. I had to call the after hours number to have it turned off. Over all it was clean and comfortable. Oh , you have to bring your dirty towels to the front desk in order to get fresh ones. ( which was weird)

The front desk clerk that checked us in around 3 pm was extraordinarily helpful and kind. She did make sure to advise us that there is no front desk staff after 9 pm and made sure that we understood how to contact someone in case of any issue. That was red flag number 1. We left and returned around 8:30 pm with dinner, and there were multiple vagrants around entrance that did try to engage myself (38/f) and my daughter (7). The front desk was already closed.

That night we went to shower and get ready for bed when we realized that the towels in my room looked like they were dirty/stained with grease and old lipstick, though folded/placed nicely. We luckily had towels of our own to use. There are ZERO amenities - no shampoo/body wash. One tiny bar of hand soap only.

When we tried to go to sleep, all I can say is those walls are ridiculously thin. We heard EVERYTHING in the hallway (which smelled heavily of marijuana). Additionally, the hotel is very close to an airport, so airport and train noises throughout the night.

Not much sleep was had, and the icing on the cake was a domestic violence incident on our floor with police response... which I was alerted by another hotel the next day is a common occurrence here. Overall felt very unsafe. I had two day accommodations and I left after 10 hours. I didn't even bother with a refund... it was not worth it. As the saying goes \"you get what you pay for.\"

Booked a room with a couch, there was no couch and staff knew that at check in but did not advise there’s no couches anymore.
The heavy smell of ammonia accompanied by a special culture of people suggests there is known drug activity on the property.
The room was disgusting. The flooring had gaps, and missing sections. There was a massive puddle of water under the air conditioner so they changed my room. same thing. Gapped flooring, disgusting showers. Wouldn’t even shower here.
Left for work at 6 am and walked into a crowd of folks who looks like they were up all night, eyes bugging from their heads and pacing. Checked into another room immediately and they won’t return calls to process a refund. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Staff is great. The hotel, on the other hand, appears to be used as long term housing for people with few other options. Children roam the halls unattended at all hours of the night. They don’t appear to go to school during the day either. The walls are very thin. You can hear your neighbors as if they are in your room. You hear footsteps above, below, and lateral to your room. You won’t get housekeeping during your stay. The amenities are very basic.

Worst experience I have ever had. Lobby smelled of weed. Door was propped open so all the cigarette smoke from people smoking outside was pouring into the area by elevators. When we got to the second floor there was dead roaches in the hallway. Our room was disgusting with sticky floors, dusty furniture, dirty towels on bathroom floor & the bed looked as though it had been slept on. The tv wouldn’t turn off and just kept scrolling through channels by itself all night. Literally the worst experience I’ve ever had. I cried wanting to leave!!

I've stayed at the WoodSpring Suites at least 3 times. I've had dealing with other extended stay motels that weren't as nice. WoodSpring has kept up their property handsomely. I don't really have any complaints. Once you figure out the light switches, it's easy as pie. Being an ex-railroad man, I usually ask for a trackside room. I forgot this past time, but lucked out and got a trackside room. I've never been awakened by a train.

AC unit worked really well. There are no ice machines. Expedia reported continental breakfast- there wasn’t one. Wore socks in the room and floor was so dirty- socks black on the bottom- had to throw them in the trash- TV remote didn’t work - had to power off when I wanted to change the station- clock didn’t work even after I plug it in- ask for a wake up call and never got one. If I had to do it again, I would stay somewhere else.

The room was clean and air conditioning was good. But I did not like the fact that it has a kitchenette but are not allow to cook. You can only warm up food. Also no coffee pot. The front desk is only open certain hours, so when we arrived the clerk was not there, had to wait about 15 minutes. And when checking out could not leave earlier than 9am because the front desk was closed. And it is located in a noisy area due to train tracks and airport.

The hotel was not clean. Towels left to bathe with were already stained. Bed was absolutely no comfort. Bedding was thin. They gave you two sheets and a throw blanket to cover up with. We were VERY disappointed in this property. We were staying in town for the USSSA Fast Pitch State Tournament, our team reserved a block at this property, and as we called to book our rooms they could not find the block. Some of us just booked anyway and others, the lucky ones, found other accommodations. We travel a lot with softball, and stay in hotels quite often and I can say with 1,000% certainty this is by far the worst hotel we have ever stay at. Several of the families traveling with our team actually left and paid for other accommodations. The lobby smelled of smoke, our door did not lock, there was a hole in the bathroom door, a missing cabinet face, there was a weird substance on the pillow case, and these were the issues in our room. Another room had a tv that did not work, a remote with no batteries, another had a horrendous smell that required them to keep the door open to air out the room, and yet another room had a bathroom light that flickered on and off throughout the night. The property was also very, very loud, and there were roaches in the rooms! I am furious that we paid for two nights, and were left trying to find a new hotel for the second night because the situation was that horrible.

The lobby smelled bad and a few times in the hallways there was an odor of marijuana. Which is a real disappointment especially with kids being with us. Our rooms were with two queen beds and only 2 towels. The 2nd night I went to get more towels and at 10pm and the front desk was closed.
A customer came in and called the number and the worker came to check him in. I asked for towels and was told there were no towels. I said “you are telling me yall don’t have any towels”? They said well they need to be washed. I asked “you don’t have any clean towels in this whole hotel”? She said we have big towels. I said I needed 4 towels.
It shouldn’t be this difficult to get towels for my room.
Our room floor was sticky and had an old pair of socks and bottle caps on the floor.
Beds were not comfortable at all. The pillows were small and flat. The TV didn’t work and Wi-Fi was limited to two devices.
The only plus about this hotel was the A/C it cooled good.

This was my fault for not researching the facilities better. It's an extended stay hotel. There were no toiletries or an iron. I suppose if I had been traveling for work and such, I'd have probably brought such amenities, but it was just a quick overnight stay. It's also right along a train track. Doors slamming all night and music being played next door and walls are thin. Train passes right by hotel and horns blow all night. Will never stay here again. The elevators were broken, you could only enter in through the front entrance, it was pouring down rain, it was only my daughter and I with a room on the second floor. The day we left it was around 7 AM the front desk was closed with a shade down and nowhere to checkout or leave the key. The building smelled of weed. I guess you get what you pay for. Thankfully we just needed it to spend the night.

The hotel smelled of weed from the moment we walked in. The elevator was out and there were men walking all over the place drinking. Our room was clean but the bed was really uncomfortable. There was no box spring just a mattress on a stand. When we left to eat dinner we were greeted again with the very strong smell of weed. You could hear everyone through the walls. There were people walking outside in the parking lot all hours of the night. My husband had gone and gotten in the vehicle to see if he could get some sleep since there was so much noise at 1am. We left for the airport in the morning and there was a man drunk/high sitting on ground pretending to shoot us with his finger saying pew pew. Not going to lie, I laughed and then got nervous bc he didn’t like me laughing at him and started cursing me.
