I thought the hotel was kept very clean and organized. The breakfast items were very nice only I would have enjoyed some better coffee and some little cartons of milk at breakfast
Daisy
Pet friendly means DOGS ONLY.
William
the staff was had me checked in fast, room was clean and the breakfast was good
Cindy
Bed was way
Brian
Clean room
Gary
Kids loved the indoor/outdoor pool. The help was pleasant and helpful. The rooms were clean and large. The breakfast was standard hotel fare. Wish some hotels could upgrade this but they are all the same.
Cynthia
Good location
Marsena
Front desk lady is very nice and helpful. We always stay there when heading to Iowa.
Shannon
Clean spacious and comfortable rooms
Great location for our purposes
Great location for our purposes
Eric
Very friendly staff, large and convenient room. Maybe the hot breakfast could be improved.
Deborah
Great location for our personal trip, very spacious and comfortable beds and room, nice breakfast provided.
Marsena
Always enjoy staying here.
Rich
Clean and solid. What you would expect. Con’s: Foaming hot tub, spotty tv reception, dirty blanket on pull out, eggs and sausages at breakfast were awful, entry way and hall smelled strongly on cleaning chemicals. Too much!
Dolores
Very friendly and accommodating staff; nice rooms and breakfast!
David L
The beds were from the comfortable breakfast was nothing to rave about but the state was pleasant as well as the staff
Pamela
If you can, try the American Suite. Outstanding!
Hello
Room didn’t smell very good
Brittany
The staff was friendly enough, the first night we stayed was okay but the second night we stayed my husband woke up with ants crawling on him in the bed and when we turned on the light they were covering food we had that was in closed containers and all over empty cans we had rinsed out....we ended up packing up and leaving at 2:30 in the morning after that.
julius
Very nice and accommodating staff. Clean rooms, fair prices
Joshua
Not an upscale hotel, but very nice for what it is. The staff clearly work to make a good experience. The indoor pool that connects to the outdoor pool is fun.
Sheila
The room was comfortable and clean. Some of the furnishings need to be replaced, but it looks like the hotel is working on updating the furniture.
Charlie
The property would have rated higher except for the overwhelming scent of air freshener used at the hotel entrance and inside the room. Anyone with scent sensitivity might want to check out the room first before booking.
Jacqulin
Largest problem was cleaning staff did walk into our room without knocking on our 2nd day. Eggs were inedible on our second day. Staff in the dining area were cheerful and allowed us to stay in the breakfast area past 9 am. We enjoyed our stay, the hair dryer in one of our rooms did not work which was a pain as we stayed at this hotel for the pool and little girls need their hair dried before bed.
Chris
Clean room, good price, very happy with stay. Second time user.
Billie
The breakfast was really nice. They had decorated for Christmas so it was a cozy, comfortable feeling. The hot tub was hot. The room was clean, and huge. The suite we had was amazing. So much room!
jim
Room was clean but heater air conditioner failed
Ronda
Friendly staff. Clean and quiet room. Comfortable beds. Pool area was clean and comfortable. Nice place to stay.
Jacquelyn
Room was showing wear.
Jacquelyn
Tub/shower needs grab bars for safety.
Angie
Room and property were clean and well taken care of. Breakfast on Sunday morning offered a little more than Monday. Sunday had biscuits and gravy and potatoes. Both days had sausage, eggs, bread variety, cereal and waffle maker. The pool and hot tub were clean but the pool was a little chilly, maybe because it was indoor/ outdoor with a little pass-through. The staff was kind and quick to respond. The beds were on the firm side. They were a little too hard for our liking. The room was also a little humid but went away when we turned the air up. It was nice to have a variety of restaurants and shops nearby.
Laureen
We loved the pool, but it needs some outdoor maintainence.
Craig
The additional charges and fees were not indicated at time of booking. There was no senior discount offered. We will not use Expedia again...
Gwendolyn
Love it
We've stayed here for one night every October for the last 4 years and I think it just gets better. The woman who checked us in and the woman who checked us out were both very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. Plenty of channels and netflix if you have an account. For a chain hotel the breakfast is pretty decent and the room is its in is large was comforfable. Its very nice to have a large mini fridge and microwave in the room abd a big well lit bathroom with a tub. Couch in the room seems pretty worn out but its rare to even have a couch in a hotel room these days..
Michael
Older hotel, but good condition. Super staff.
Evelyn
Really friendly concierge. No fuss. Easy check in.
Cindy
Everyone was very courteous and helpful. We decided to stay another night and they were accomodating.
Spencer
Super eggy!
Was a good overall stay. Rooms were clean and large. The only thing that would be negative was their eggs other breakfast. They were premade circles of eggs.
steve
Outside door to room not opening with keycard.
MARY
The room was large with a nice seating area that included a full size couch. There was coffee service available at all times. The breakfast was very good.

Excellent
We absolutely loved this hotel. We entered in hotel with fresh smell. Ken has excellent customer service and knowledgeable. We had a king suite for one night. We stayed last year in Americinn by Wyndham that hotel was horrible and nesty so this time we decided to stay in Best western Dodgeville inn and suites. The rooms are large, clean and high quality. They are very quiet. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was great and even had chocolate milk and Greek yogurt. The fitness room is small but we were the only ones working out. The indoor/outdoor pool with hot tub looked great but we didn't get around to using it. Excellent location Dodgeville . All of this for a very fair price! I highly recommend to everyone Best western in Dodgeville inn and suites not Americinn by Wyndham.
Gregory
For one of the most expensive options in the area, it was a total let down. Save the money, it is no better than \"budget\" hotels. Our room was not ready at check in. Hotels charge now charge you for early check in or late check out. What if the room isn't ready? Any refund or even apology? Nothing. Not recommended. Crap place. Overpriced l
Catherine
6 night stay, have stayed here before and will stay again.
Nancy
Pool was filthy with mold. Mold in our room and way over priced for this type of place.
Jim
Wish we could give this hotel 3.5 stars, it was better than 3, but not quite 4. Overall we had a quiet comfortable stay. We were on 1st floor, there may not be an elevator to the 2nd. Breakfast was basic, we decided to go out on the 2nd day. They don’t have an automatic door in front, so you might struggle if have lots of luggage without help. Our room had a couple noticeably dusty areas, and a hole in the bathroom wall from the door handle. Not a huge concern just details. There was a microwave and refrigerator in the room. The Pool is indoor and outdoor, seems large but we didn’t use - it looks very family friendly. The hotel is an easy 25 drive to spring green if visiting Taliesen or House on the Rock.
Sarah
Great location to see House on the Rock. Clean and quiet
Kimberly
Fantastic hotel at this price!
The hotel was extremely clean and well-kept. The service was fantastic, and the staff were friendly. I was so impressed with what a nice hotel this was at such a fair price!
Dionne
Very nice staff, breakfast was good, and room was clean. However, the room had a mildew smell. Pool area needs a revamp but kids had fun and towels were easily accessible.
Kim
Hotel was in a nice location. Couch was ripped and dirty. Blinds in living room was dirty with spots.
Verified traveler
good stay, nearby attractions. nice service, clean but windows and walls were a bit dirty
Diane
Excellent motel!
This motel is excellent! It is extremely clean and well kept. The room was big and again, extremely clean. Carpets, furniture, linens and towels were all in excellent shape. No worn spots, or any sign of aging, anywhere. The dbl pools were nice, but we did not use them. All employees were very nice and friendly. The beds were comfortable, and the atmosphere was quiet. The location was perfect for us. We have no complaints.
Lynn
Pleased that specific accommodations were met. Clean rooms.
Stephanie
Employees were very friendly and helpful.
aaron
Good place for a reasonable price. The pool area is due for some maintenance, but overall a good stay
Nancy
This hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Conveniently located.
John
Friendly staff, close and convenient, for being full to capacity it was quiet
Patrick
No hassle check-in and check-out, very clean, comfortable room. Breakfast was better than expected with scrambled eggs, sausage and gravy. With the othe normal continental breakfast items, and a do your own belgian waffles station to boot! No complaints.
Eliana
Great customer service by manager and staff.
Carol
First time at a Best Western and was not disappointed!
BONNIE
Outside door to parking lot never opened. We did not ask for a fix. Carpet was wet by exterior door.
Danielle
Great beds, very little choice in TV channels
Verified traveler
Reasonable priced rooms for one adult and 3 grand boys. The pool was a big hit with us. We will live the area and will be back.
Rodney
It was dirty. Definitely won't stay there again. I couldn't cancel or I would've. The staff was nice though.
Carrie
The hotel was clean and our room was big. However, the hotel is either under renovations or the owners do not care that the pool and exercise area are being used as storage for boxes, sinks, and toilets. The property needs updated. Staff was friendly!
Stephen
The room was huge and comfortable. Happily surprised there are indoor and outdoor pools plus exercise room. Staff are friendly and efficient. It is very clean. Would stay here again next time I visit the area
Jaime
Clean and friendly
Staff members were incredibly friendly and the rooms were very clean.
MARY
Very clean, friendly staff, comfortable beds. Highly recommend.
John
Very nice place to stay
Kathleen
It was very clean and the man at the front desk was very helpful
Trista
Great service and people!
Andre
Clean and convenient
Katherine
Friendly staff and very helpful
Alyssa
It was nice and quiet stay. Room was clean and the bathroom was recently remodel which was nice. Overall it was a nice stay, while visiting the area for a family Christmas.
Jenny
What a sweet little spot for a quick overnight. Breakfast was good, and breakfast area was well stocked and clean. The rooms were very clean and cozy, and the bathrooms were so nice. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Didn’t use the pool, but it looked really nice! Reminded me of the old family run motels, even though it’s a best western now. I will say the walls were a bit thin, so if you had a very noisy neighbor that might be a problem, but it didn’t affect our stay. I would definitely stay here again. Affordable and close to all the fun things in the Spring Green area.
Susan
Check in was great, room was warm & clean, breakfast was great.
Robert
Make sure you request a ground floor room if you have a lot of luggage because there is no elevator on premises.
KIMBERLY
No elevator

It was great!

Our first choice when staying in Dodgeville.
SUSAN
We were greeted very warmly and kindly. The staff cleaning the rooms were very gracious and friendly. The hotel was clean, the rooms were comfortable, the pool looked really nice, and we appreciate it having an outside door come in. The breakfast was very nice! We will be back!
Gregory
The in room hot tub was a hit with my wife after some hikingnearlier in the day
Daniel
The lobby of the hotel was nice and neat, and I was greeted immediately by the front desk. Check-in was a breeze. The room had both a hallway door as well as an exterior door, which was nice for unloading/loading.
The pool area needs help. The bottom of the pool is very stained. The jacuzzi had dirt gathered in the bottom (I decided not to use it). The pool area furniture is obviously quite old, and most of the color has faded out of many chairs. The ladder to enter/exit the exterior portion of the pool was roped off with caution tape. The plastic curtain over the \"channel\" between the inside/outside pool areas is also very worn and faded. At the time we were visiting, there was also a very loud dehumidifier running in the pool area.
The room itself was nice - large comfortable bed, TV in good shape, lamps all worked, bathroom was clean and inviting.
Overall, I'm not sure that the stay overall was quite worth the $200 that I paid. Had I known about the pool condition (which was a good part of why I booked this location), we would have looked a bit further afield in perhaps Spring Green or Mineral Point.

Indoor and Outdoor pool areas need to be updated, but pool time was a lot of fun- the kids enjoyed it!!
Our room was VERY clean and hall and entry ways were clean and well taken care of. Check In was a breeze even though we were a little early.

Not much around there for a good sit down meal. Had to drive to another town. Hotel was ok nothing exciting just for a night stay. Pool area looked old didn’t use it.
Susan
The room was very clean
John

So disappointed
Joseph
Extremely friendly staff, nice location for a quick stop.

Motel of choice
A very clean motel conveniently located just off the highway. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Food and shopping are within walking distance. This will be our go-to stay in the area from now on.
Sharon
The room was big and spacious. The interior was clean and kept up.
The doors to the outdoor pool lock with no rented into the indoor pool, only entrance is through the plastic entry within the pool.
The pool floor and whirlpool looks as if it is not cleaned daily, there was a lot of (what looks like) scum.
Breakfast was fine.

It is not easy to find a decent hotel in this small town but this hotel was good enough for a weekend. Had a terrific breakfast buffet.
Dean
Comfy beds crapy pool
Pictures looked good on line however the outside pool area needs attention. The chairs are flaking and pool was filthy with leaves and garbage! The outside area by pool has so much potential but in the state it's in should be closed!
Morgen
Friendly staff, great fun in the pool, friendly atmosphere, and great being able to bring our dog!
Teresa

Great stay for the price & friendly staff.
Very friendly staff - decent breakfast w/ hit food, but was shut down early on our last day. Kitchen helper did feel bad & made my youngest daughter a couple pancakes. Clean room - but found someone's fleece behind a chair that was missed. Sofa is a sleeper - it wasn’t advertised as one, so wondered if the bedding already on it was clean? Pool was great & is indoor/outdoor and was heated.
Shannon
Free room upgrade upon checkin
Greg
Noisy. They charged an extra $7 for a service fee. Attempted to ask why but got no response.
SUSAN
This property is great. Safe, super clean, very pleasant staff, easy and safe parking. Next time i am in the area, i will definately be back. A pleasant experience having my bed made and room cleaned in my 2 night stay. Thank you.
Verified traveler
Accidentally booked the handicap accessible room. The door was difficult to open, the bathroom door was difficult to close and very noisy. There was no clock and no nightlight which made finding the bathroom at night difficult. The light in the bathroom was connected to the loud exhaust fan, so we couldn't leave it on all night, we improvised by unplugging a lamp and putting it in the bathroom, leaving it on all night. We normally stay here on our Iowa trips and like the staff. Just want handicapped people to be aware.
